Welcome to your mindfulness journey into how to "become the tortoise". In a world that glorifies 'doing more' and many living in dysregulation and chronic stress, learning how to slow down, tune in to our bodies and listen in to what we intuitively need is a priority we all need to adopt.
As a dedicated Yogi and Meditation Facilitator, I have designed this podcast for the ones who keep hitting burn out. The ones who want to do it all but are no longer willing to compromise their health to get there. The ones who (just like me) aren't afraid to dream big, have a zest life and know deep down that they are worthy of having it all without running themself into the ground to claim it.

48. Igniting the desire to empower yourself after trauma with energetic healer Bridie Allen
Today on the podcast we are here to speak about women’s empowerment.
Empowerment by definition is the process of becoming stronger, more confident and in control of our life by claiming our personal rights. This is a powerful topic. One that can be spoken about in many different contexts but today we are here to speak about one incredible women’s journey of empowerment after her experience with Domestic Violence.
Bridie is first and foremost a mumma to her 2 beautiful children. She is a survivor of abuse and has used her journey to fuel her own personal mission to empower women to take back and realise their own inner power. She does this though practices in many healing modalities including Breathwork, Kundalini Activation and The Aaruka Healing modality (deep subconscious mind work).
In this episode we speak about Bridies personal story, how to take responsibility for your life after abuse, how to navigate coming out of fight or flight mode, what is body sovereignty, navigating motherhood, finding your "why" and rituals you can use to empower yourself to create a life of abundance and safety.
