2:13 You can't control who sees your LinkedIn posts, or whether the reader takes action. You can't control who turns up to networking events, or whether they're even remotely interested in HR.
2:23 And you can't control who books a free call, or whether they just pump you for ideas and disappear. And proposals?
2:30 Don't get me started on proposals. You can't control when they read it, if they read it, if they ghost you, or worse, if someone comes back to you three weeks later asking for a heavy discount.
2:40 You're constantly reacting. That's what, that's your business model. You are chasing, you're adjusting, you're being flexible, and it is draining.
2:50 here's what I all of that actually costs you. Hours of time prepping, traveling, and following up. Emotional energy, giving away all your best thinking for free and getting nothing in return.
