The Monice Hour
Coming To Terms With The Truth
Finding out I need surgery hit me with a truth I’ve been avoiding which is: there aren’t many people I can truly rely on. Yeah, there are people who love me, but love and showing up aren’t the same thing. As a single parent, I already carry so much on my own, and this just made me realize how alone I really am.
In this episode, I get real about burnout, feeling unsupported, and the weight of doing everything alone. I’m also sharing ways to build the support system you do need, even if it takes a while to build it. From delegating tasks to creating a support system of chosen people, we’re talking about how to lighten the load and stop running on empty. If you’ve ever felt like it’s all on you, this one’s for you.
