56. Your Body Isn’t Betraying You: A Thanksgiving Gratitude Reset
In today’s episode, we’re leaning into gratitude…but not the “fluffy”, toxic-positivity version that may come to mind.
With Thanksgiving around the corner, it felt like the perfect time to explore gratitude as a powerful lens that shapes how we experience our health, our healing, and our bodies!
Gratitude isn’t about pretending things are “fine”. It’s about acknowledging what is good, steady, AND improving, even when the hard stuff is happening right alongside it.
Your body gives you sooo much to appreciate, even on the days it feels like it’s working against you. Even symptoms (as frustrating as they are) are your body signaling, not betraying you.
Gratitude calms the system, and a calm system can finally HEAL.
If you’re walking through a pelvic health journey (or any healing journey), remember - it doesn’t have to be only about “fixing”. Healing becomes more possible when we can honor how the body is supporting us along the way!
Episode Recap:
- What gratitude truly is + why noticing what’s good, steady & improving matters
- How gratitude supports the body + calms the nervous system
- Why your body isn’t betraying you, but adapting and signaling
- Simple gratitude tools & journal prompts you can use today
- Getting curious about resistance or emotions that surface
