Mindful Moves
Mindful Moves is a podcast about nervous system regulation, emotional healing, and learning how to feel safe in your body again.
I created this space for people who feel overwhelmed, burnt out, anxious, or disconnected from themselves and want something that actually helps.
Each episode explores how stress, emotions, and old patterns live in the body, not just the mind. We talk about nervous system states, regulation tools, boundaries, loneliness, confidence, and what it really means to slow down in a world that never stops.
You’ll find simple explanations, grounding practices, and honest reflections you can come back to when life feels like too much.
This podcast is for you if you want to move through life with more awareness, regulation, and self-trust, without forcing or fixing yourself.
Mindful Moves
016: The Longest Relationship You Will Ever Have
I am profoundly grateful for the transformative journey we've shared this season, focusing on regulating our nervous systems and embracing effective habits. In this personal episode of Mindful Moves, I want to dive into the significance of creating a calm and secure space within ourselves. Throughout our exploration of tools and tips, I emphasise the "why" – the fundamental importance of connecting with ourselves, understanding our feelings, and moving forward from a place of calmness. Reflecting on the enduring nature of our self-relationship, I present two choices: evading introspection through perpetual busyness or courageously pausing, meeting ourselves without judgment. Drawing from my own experiences, I share the challenges of avoiding solitude and the profound shift that occurs when prioritising a relationship with oneself. Encouraging you to build a safe internal haven, I advocate for small, mindful adjustments that lead to a more connected, fulfilling life.
