In Flow with Natalie
In Flow with Natalie (formerly, The Finding Sessions) is my space to share reflections on life, creativity, and presence.
After leaving a busy professional career, I’m now embracing movement, photography, art, and yoga—both as a teacher and a student—as ways to connect more deeply with myself and the world around me.
When I began this podcast, I felt that learning more about myself was like a search for answers ('finding myself')... and wanted to share the journey, but I have come to realize that most of my discoveries have come from taking time (and space) to get to know myself more. I came to realize that most of my discoveries happened when I stopped searching quite so hard, and simply gave myself space to reflect.
Allowing space - finding 'flow', has helped me to make a little more room for life to unfold, and in doing so, I've come to discover far more about myself.
Through personal stories and guided meditations, I hope to offer moments of calm, inspiration, and self-discovery. And ultimately, I hope it offers a few soft moments for you to reflect, maybe feel something that resonates, and perhaps even encourages you to explore something new in your own life.
You can also find my photography and messages of positivity on Instagram @inflowwithnatalie.
My wish for you, always, is to live in positivity, health, and harmony.

#62 You Are Exactly Where You Need to Be

Do fleeting moments from our past tell us something about who we are? the other day I was laying on my mat after doing daily physio and began to experience random memories from my childhood. Pleasant ones. Memories from times when I was just doing what felt natural, without a thought in the world.... and I thought, that's who I was then. and I began to wonder, if we think back to those moments in our lives when we experienced natural curiosity, wonder and awe, and pure joy in doing something we naturally gravitated toward as children, does that tell us something about who we are today?
I also reflect on the fact that "we are exactly where we need to be", where we are meant to be. And how, no matter what path I've taken, I know its the right one, and letting go of outcomes, and allowing the "ultimate goal" to soften a little may just open us up to arriving to where we are meant to be. This reflection was just for fun, not overthought... and I offer it as an invitation for you to reflect on some of the ideas I mention. And it's not just about the past.... what if we allow ourselves to imagine all the wonderful feelings we can experience in a future, yet unknown, but that includes the fullness of those feelings of joy, curiosity, awe and wonder?
