A wellness program can grow in two directions: more noise, or more purpose. We’re choosing purpose, and we’re sharing the full member presentation so you can understand exactly why Palmetto Bluff is expanding, what’s changing inside the new Club Fitness Center, and how to use the new options to build a stronger life.

We break down the “why” behind the upgrade, including the demand trends that pushed us here, then walk you through the new spaces: a functional training classroom built for safe strength progressions, turf-based movement, and smarter conditioning; a larger strength room that finally gives personal training and self-guided lifting the space it deserves; and a dedicated cycling studio with upgraded bikes and more scheduling flexibility. We also highlight the recovery pieces we’re adding, from a mobility-focused recovery nook to consultation rooms that support fitness screenings, physical therapy, and future recovery sessions.

Programming gets a major upgrade too. We introduce three program tracks (Perform, Thrive, Align) that act like a simple training prescription, plus our signature class evolution: PB Strong with a three-week progressive structure, PB Mixed for strength plus conditioning, and the brand-new PB Cardio with evidence-based intervals designed to improve stamina and VO2 max. We close with key operational details like access hours, how existing studios shift after the move, the early-May transition timeline, and what to expect with class registration during the first weeks.

If you want your weekly schedule to feel intentional instead of random, hit play. Then subscribe, share this with a neighbor, and leave a review so more members can train with clarity.

Why The Wellness Program Is Changing

SPEAKER_00

Are you ready to live an active lifestyle? Welcome to Behind the Bluff, where we believe every moment of your life is an opportunity to pursue wellness on your terms. I'm your host, Jeff Ford, and I would like to welcome you to a special bonus episode created just for our Palmetto Bluff members. You see, we're in the middle of something meaningful right now, a real shift in how we think about fitness, community, and what it means to move well for decades to come. This isn't just about a new space or new offerings. It's about raising the standard for how we show up, how we train, and how we support each other. Over the past month, we've shared this vision in person and through our newsletter. And today we're bringing you the full recorded presentation so you can hear not just what's changing, but why it matters and where we're headed together. And this is just the beginning, everyone. Over the next few weeks, we'll be releasing a series of short educational 15-minute bonus episodes breaking down our new signature class programming, which includes a PB Strong, PB Cardio, and PB Mixed. The conversations are gonna be simple, practical, and grounded in grounded in evidence, so you can better understand the why behind the work that we've been doing behind the scenes and the work that you put in when you're gonna be showing up to this new fitness center. Because at the end of the day, this is bigger than just workouts. It's about building a stronger, healthier life on purpose. And the good news is we're just getting started. All right, let's get into the session. We are so grateful for the upcoming changes with the Pulmetable Fellness program. And for those of you who were not able to attend the live in-person info session, that's what this is about today. We want you to have all the details, all of the plans that our team has been carefully been working on behind the scenes so that we can make this transition as seamless as possible. Change is difficult for all of us. And what I've found is that communicating is key as we start to mix things up with our program and just in general in life. We've got to create some awareness first, be fully present before we can have the right direction to then move forward and take action on the growth that the Palmetto Bluff Wellness Program is about to experience. So without further ado, let's dive into how it all started. Three and a half years ago, I gratefully had the opportunity to begin working here at Palmetto Bluff. And at that time, the team and I sat down and we created our vision, mission, and values. Our vision is we believe everyone deserves to feel connected and actively participate in life on their terms. And that's important to us because our programming needs to reflect that vision. So anything we put on a schedule, any change we make in a facility, any event has to link back to answering that vision. Are we helping people feel more connected? And second, are we allowing people to actively participate in life on their terms? And so programming is near and dear to my heart. I'm excited to get to those slides here in a little bit, but it's important to know that this is the approach, this is the outlook that we take in strategic planning and especially during this time of transition. Our second guiding mission here is to enhance the club member experience by executing unparalleled wellness programming. So, yes, it's one thing to know what's going to allow people to feel connected, what's going to help them actively participate on their terms. We need the execution and the quality of our programming to match with those needs. And so this is where we can have a lot of fun with enhancing the club member experience. One example is we've got a new event that's kicking off next week. It's the Pulmetabluff High Rocks Challenge. And so excited. It's going to be on the village green. And that is just one example of a new innovative way that we think we can get people connected and really making memories, is what it's all about. Finally, our values, these are the behaviors that guide our team and how we go about making change. We try to always remain humble, crush the expectations, and develop positive relationships. And so love just starting with the culture piece here so that we can move into the growth piece. So that's second on our list. After that, we're going to go over the overall operations, kind of the needs need to know. Program tracks. This is a new concept that we'll be sharing with you today. Program expansion. So definitely at that point, it'll be the new class schedule. And then finally, program design. What are the new workouts going to look like? So let's jump into growth. Growth has been part of my journey here at Pullmetal Buff and our entire team's journey, where we have seen in a short amount of time that classes have become extremely popular. I actually wake up screaming in the middle of the night sometimes because there is one thing that is really difficult to solve right now with our current facilities. And it's it's this very scary word that we've been using quite a bit. You've maybe heard of it. That we have almost doubled class reservations in three years. So even with the existing spaces, the number of class reservations were in the low 20,000 per year, uh mid-20,000, and they're above 41,000 as of 2025. So it's just a good look to understand, yes, more people are moving to Palmetto Bluff. And the individuals, our members, you guys who live in here, love to be active and love the particip, love to participate in these community-based classes. So uh we we will get into what our capacities will increase to, uh, but just this is kind of a reflection on the past of like, wow, there's already over 41,000 class reservations operating in our current program. Uh second to this, you'll see the wellness department revenue. Now, our our team is is not here to max out revenue. That's not the goal of our operation. You you could see our vision mission doesn't reflect making a certain amount of money, but revenue to us shows the utilization of our sort of services. So personal training, physical therapy, massage, everything that we do under the sun, small group training, you can see there's actually been a double increase, 100% increase. So in 2023, 300K in total revenue on the year. And now uh as of 2025, it was 600K. So what this says to me is that we love fitness, we love taking care of ourselves. So that means we need to grow, we need to support this interest of our members so that we can continue to participate in the activities we want to. You know, I've always found that golf is for some people, tennis is for other folks, but wellness is for everyone. And so as we expand, as we grow, uh the these charts are just reflecting that uh we we want to uh increase our capacities and allow for more opportunities. Uh so how is that gonna happen? That's that's the big piece here. Uh for us and our team, it's all about the team. The only way we are able to grow is because of the amazing people who work alongside of us. So, quick introduction to a few of our new teammates. And Canva is amazing. I've got this$9 subscription for our team, and so it allows me to make these really cool backgrounds disappear from photos of people. So on the left here, you can see Harmony Kwoninger. She has been with us uh close to four months now, uh, started with us back in the fall. She has six plus years experience teaching gymnastics. She's currently teaching dance classes with us, cycling classes, and doing a lot of observation, uh, being new to the industry to get up to speed on other formats. And uh she is so humble, so hungry. She's doing such a great job. We're so grateful uh that we've been able to add her to the team. In the middle there, you'll see John Brace. He is very new with us, just at about a couple months now, and he's doing about 20 to 25 sessions a week. It's it's nuts, the the uh demand of personal training and uh the focus there. He's he's very well versed, incredible experience. He's been in the industry for over 35 plus years. So we have recently got him on board. You'll see him leading the PB30 class on Wednesdays right now and strength and balance as well. And then finally, we've got a new teammate, new teammate coming aboard uh in mid-April. He will be full on here at Palmetto Bluff. This is a close friend of mine, David Chessworth. He's been the program director for Hilton Head Health uh for the last six or seven years. He's he started as an intern there, moved up into fitness director role, and then he's been overseeing the entire retreat program at this point. For those of you who don't know, Hilton Head Health, it's an immersive program where individuals come and stay for a week, two weeks at a time, month, even longer, to really reset and take their health in a new direction. So he's worked with so many different types of individuals. This dude has an incredible focus on mobility and joint health, and we're just really excited to have him come aboard, uh teach a lot of classes right out of the gates. Uh, he's kind of the main individual who's gonna help us with picking up uh many of these new classes, along with Harmony as well, and then our existing staff. Uh I'm kind of jumping ahead, but uh, what I love about our schedule is we're always gonna have different teammates hitting you at different times. So you get the vibe from all of our amazing people here on staff. So uh more on David soon. He does have a wellness talk coming up uh that will go through uh the blueprint that the blue zones provide us for living healthy long term. So more on that later. Uh but yeah, welcome, new teammates. Uh I I know many of you love our team, and I would have to agree they are amazing people, and they're the only reason we are able to grow, and the only reason we are able to uh pursue our mission vision uh forward. So let's go ahead and get into the operations. That's right, it's operations time. So I I spoke a lot about this at the February town hall. I'm gonna go back through it in a little more detail since we have additional time today. So, first and foremost, one of the spaces I am probably the space I'm most excited about is our functional training classroom. This will be over at the Palmetto Bluff Club Fitness Center. PBC FC is the abbreviation. We're gonna start to get that trending. This space is very unique. I don't think any other club in the low country or even beyond would potentially take this route in setting up a space in this way. It is quite interesting for those who don't know as much about fitness and and where strength training and and classes are going. But we feel like this space sets us up for long-term success, even though the Palmetto Bluff Fitness Center is an interim space before we have a permit facility uh at Crossroads. So this uh FTC will be the space when you immediately walk in to the right of the cafe. It's about 3,100 square feet. And to put this into context, this is two and two and a quarter times the size of the current Moreland studio. Yeah, pretty incredible. In this space, we're gonna have three dual adjustable pulley systems, dApps. This means that in a class setting, we can now load in a much more overload way, meaning week to week, we can progress your strength training easier than just using dumbbells, uh, kettlebells, or free weights alone. So we're really excited about that. It's gonna help a lot with um even different rotational movements. I won't go into too much detail here, but I have never seen this done in a classroom, so I am super stoked to add this into our programming. Uh, turf is gonna be down the middle of this space. It's black turf, it's segmented out. We maximized and got as much turf in there as possible because sled pushing, sled pulling, doing uh exercises that aren't just up and down are very valuable to us as as not only as we age, but just from a strength perspective and loading heavier weights safely. So very excited about the turf. And then finally, in the in this space, we're also gonna have a lot more hit type cardio. Now, high-intensity interval training can be a little bit scary, so so stay with me here. Uh, we have new formats of classes that are gonna support developments in your VO2 Max and stamina, endurance, conditioning. And so, what we're bringing in is some VersaClimbers, some different uh Concept 2 bikes, and then just additional uh quantities of the current machines that you're used to using at the Moreland Studio. So very cool. It's gonna help us out a lot for different programming and varying things, and we'll uh we'll actually have three treadmills in the space as well, so we can do some incline type work and work that into classes. So it's gonna be new and innovative, and it's gonna allow us to introduce and evolve our signature programming. Let me just define signature programming real quick. That's your PB strong class currently, and then uh this will evolve into PB mixed and PB cardio, which you'll hear more about uh here in the future. Strength room, second space at the PBC FC, 2,800 square feet. That's right. Now I loved doing this at the in-person uh session. I love comparing it to our current Moreland strength room, which you all know once you have six to eight people in there, it gets a little dicey, okay? Uh so it's actually three and a half times the size of the Moreland strength room. It's very comparable to the functional training classroom. It is gonna have the gamut of pre-core strength machines, no fluff, all of the all of the selectorized machines you need, and then also a few plate-loaded machines for various leg strengthening that we we need to prioritize as as people who want to actively participate in life on our terms. Uh, there will be a large free weight section, two free weight lifting racks, along with mirrors and a uh cornucopia of dumbbells. We're gonna have quite a few sets in there so that uh if one you know pair of fives is being used, you've got that, you've got multiple pairs uh because we believe this is gonna be a space that's very active for self-guided workouts and very active for personal training. Uh, it won't be in this presentation today, but we do have plans to put restriction restrictions on personal training in the neighborhood gyms. So we just don't want those smaller gyms on property uh to be overloaded with too much personal training. So those can be the more self-guided workouts that are close to your homes where you might want to get something in a little bit quicker, it's just convenient for you on a certain day. Uh otherwise you're coming over to the Palmetto Bluff Fitness Center for some of these larger classes for more of the machines. The good news is all the neighborhood gyms, they have what you need, which is great, but PBC uh fitness center just it just kind of blows it up a little bit more so you can introduce new things into your workout. Uh and then finally at the uh fitness center, we're gonna have a cycling studio as well. Thousand square feet. It is about three-fourths the size of the Moreland cardio room that exists today. So good size. Uh one of the big questions that came up immediately when this was shared how many bikes are you gonna have? We're gonna have 20 bikes in there versus 16. We'll actually have six backup bikes. So, what that means is for cycling specific classes, we can increase the capacities. We also, though, now having a devoted cycling studio, can keep the classes to 20 but add more classes. Right now, we cannot add more cycling classes because our current space couples as a Pilates Reformer studio. So our vision is to more so add multiple classes in those mornings where where we need them for more members to be able to get in, uh, versus making the classes too large. And if you've ever been to a cycle strength class, a thousand square feet with 20 people in it is still probably about the right amount because our our cycle strength class is it's half cycle then half strengthening. So you need space to move the bikes back and to be able to participate in the free weight section of that specific class programming. Uh good news here, everyone, we are upgrading all of our bikes. So I love the support that we have from our leadership uh specific to this product project in making sure that we get good solid equipment. Of course, don't overspend, but at the same time, good solid equipment that's gonna hold up. These Kaiser bikes are quite old, and so that we will be still using Kaiser bikes. It'll be an upgraded model, and there is some different functions to the monitors that will uh improve and enhance the the current cycling classes. So uh more on that. There'll definitely be uh various workshops and orientations to help everyone with the new equipment across all of these spaces. So just stay tuned. Communication will be high uh as we get into the new space. All right, here is a quick 2D and 3D of the new Palmetabluff Fitness Center, Club Fitness Center. Now, the 2D on the left is probably the best to keen in on because it is very exact. The 3D on the right, you can see the cafe area. That will not look like that. It's a different design. You'll actually walk into the countertup being a little bit more lateral to the entrance. So just block that out. But the 3D, other than that, is pretty exact. We get the 3Ds very early on before we uh sign on with hey, we're gonna go with this equipment provider. So our equipment provider helps us uh create this uh layout. The 2D is especially helpful for the planning purposes. So just a little bit of uh detail here. These are all the spaces that I just went over. And um I'll I'll I'll add to the consultation rooms in the middle here. So we will have a consultation room for our physical therapists and our fitness screenings, and a new service that we're gonna introduce, a recovery service uh that will involve different aspects of stretching, mobilization, and recovery techniques. So stay tuned on that. Uh, it'll be 30-minute sessions, pretty cool. Uh it will just kind of enhance where if you don't want a full-on massage, which is the room adjacent to this room, uh, then you might want to do a 30-minute uh recovery session. So, right in the middle, I'll kind of pull my cursor over here. You can see that that's the massage room. And then this is the fitness office. So this is for our trainers, and it's actually a pass-through for the culinary team that is gonna be assisting us with the fitness cafe here in front. Uh we have more details on the fitness cafe and just the philosophy and vision for that here a little bit later. Uh, but yeah, that's uh what we have going on in this front section of the Palmetto Bluff Club Fitness Center. To the right is the functional training studio. You can see the hit cardio in front by the windows. You can see the dApps that I was talking about on the back wall here. And then here's another interesting new piece of equipment that we're gonna have: 180 tire flips. So these tires, they flip back and forth, they're cut in half. So we're gonna be able to do some cool partner style workouts, different step-up variations, and our battle ropes actually attach to these. And then uh the one thing I did not point out that I am excited about is there's this custom functional bay, which is where we're gonna be able to put our landmine apparatuses, TRX, and then a lot of storage for the various accessory equipment that we have. Uh adjacent, you can see is the cycling studio right behind it. Uh, separate music systems for all these spaces, and the cycling studio is super cool. And both both the functional training classroom and the cycling studio, super high ceilings, like nuts, y'all. It's wild when you walk in. There's actually a glass wall to the cycling studio. So there's a lot of natural light that will come into the space, even though it may not look like that on the diagram here. And then to the left, Kendra and I are very excited about this. We have Have a recovery area. That's right. You're going to see a ton of foam rollers, the hyper ice guns, and then basically a mobility wall with everything under the sun that you might want to take care of your body. So why we've placed it here is because whether you're coming out of a class or coming out of a self-guided like strength workout on your own, you're going to have access to this nice little nook where you can recover or even warm up pre and post session. The bathrooms, just to point them out, uh main bathrooms are right by the consultation rooms here. I know they got the tile in uh just last week. And uh Kendra and I have picked out the final uh paint for the walls. So very exciting there. Uh in back is the strength room. You can see the slew of equipment, a lot of space. We've got a small functional training area back here just for those who aren't in the classes. We we've got to have some space in here. That's one of the biggest things is just being able to put down a mat and you know, kind of have some freedom in your workout so it's not so filled uh with just strength machines. But you'll see we've got the selectorized in the middle, plate loaded on the right here, and then there is a multi-station, like for your lat pull down, a couple cable stations, uh, and then there is an assisted pull-up machine as well as Smith Smith machine, um, pretty much anything you would want, like all the good stuff, in my opinion. So uh there is uh a little bit of cardio back here in this space. There's a stair mill back there as well as uh a rower, just stuff to kind of warm up on or to do some quick hit interval training. We decided that it was best to keep more of the cardio machines in the neighborhood gyms just from a sheer point of space. And there are plenty of machines uh with our belief that as this space opens up, it's gonna allow kind of the spreading of where people are going. Uh, so it'll open up more opportunities where the the cardio machines in those spaces won't be you know overly crowded. Uh at this time, we don't really see that as being too much of an issue. Uh it's more so just the sheer space of people being able to do workouts in those neighborhood gyms. But in the future at Crossroads, we do plan to have a big cardio bay section that would obviously have some beautiful views, similar to how the cardio machines are set up currently in the neighborhood gyms, overlooking pools, water, uh, just you know, some good scenery if you if you are on uh a cardio type machine. Uh so that's it on the diagrams. Uh, hope you enjoyed the extra detail. We're excited about our cubbies and then our foam roller holders. We're going for a little bit of a Scandinavian vibe, so we'll see what happens. Here, real quick, are some current pictures of the uh process. You can see the drywall up here, uh, and pretty much this is where they were at about a week ago, and then all the ceilings are being painted black, which is pretty cool. It's gonna have a great vibe to it. There's gonna be a big mural across the functional training classroom as well. So that just gives you a glimpse of some of the under construction. And then uh the last piece to our operational details at this time, uh, really the info that's necessary for this presentation today, key details, hours of operation. It's gonna be daily from 5 a.m. to 10 p.m. with key card access. Okay? That means every day of the week you can access this new fitness center. Now, we will not be offering classes on Sundays in this space. We will continue class programming in our other studios. However, on Sundays, the Pomida Bluff Club Fitness Center will be completely self-use, self-guided. And then as you can see here, the fitness cafe hours. We will be closed on Sundays as far as the cafe and retail goes. That doesn't mean you may not have the opportunity to purchase things. We we it depends on how the grab and go will be set up and then the retail. We'll just kind of have a checkout system on Sundays because the front desk will not be staffed there at that time either. So Monday through Saturday, fitness cafe, 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. More on that in a bit. Front desk will be reachable via email, phone call, uh, Monday through Saturday from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. We will also uh during the week always have a manager there until about 6.30 p.m. at night. So uh many of you contact Kendra or I, uh, which we totally welcome. Make sure you have our numbers if you need anything, uh, we're there to support you. But you will have that welcoming face uh from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. uh during that six day span. Okay. Uh this is subject to change. You'll see a little notation of this as we go. Of course, like any operation, you evolve as you get in there and start doing it. You you guys know this very well. Um, running businesses and and and that's that's just gonna allow us just some flexibility, nothing's you know permanent uh in what we share today. Okay, this was mentioned at the all uh the all hands, the uh town hall meeting. I just want to reiterate how the other spaces will be utilized once we transition. So the Moreland Strength Room will convert to our Pilates Reformer Studio. Yes, the Moreland Strength Room will become our private Pilates Reformer Studio. I know many members are excited about this. It's just gonna be the perfect use for that space, not overly big. We will begin with more classes and for reformers. We do have plans to add a couple of more reformers, but initially we will be just adding additional classes, 8 a.m., 9 a.m., 10 a.m. 11 a.m. Uh, and see what the utilization is like. Uh but in the fall, we definitely know that the popularity of this programming uh we'll need to add some more machines. What's cool about the reformer studio is we actually will be wall mounting springboards, uh, so it'll enhance the types of classes that we're able to offer. Uh Moreland Cardio, what's gonna happen there? This is gonna become a neighborhood gym with cardio and weights. So the strength equipment that is in Mooreland Strength currently will be moved to Moreland Cardio, and then that space will be called Moreland Gym. So for those of you who live over here at Moreland, Secrets Out, that's where the podcast room is. If you live over here, you're gonna have your own self-guided space where you can hop over, golf cart, bike. Uh, we prefer you bike or walk, uh, but that's gonna be a space where you can do your workouts. And then the Moreland Studio, it is not going away, folks. So it is gonna continue to operate classes. The main classes that will take place there are Matt Pilates, some of our strength classes, like foundational strength, simple strength, and then our TRX classes. I know many of you love Canoe Club Studio. You you do some TRX over there right now. We can just get more people into the classes as TRX moves over to Moreland. We'll actually be able to set up additional TRX spots. They'll start with a capacity of 15, where currently uh Canoe Club is only 10, and we have plans to expand to 18 so that it aligns with the other capacities that currently are in place at Moreland. So not too many capacity changes at Moreland Studio. It'll still be around 18 people per class, depending on the class. Uh, but we're just gonna move the formats that make the most sense over here, and that's why we've uh kind of you know created uh a schedule based off of that. And then finally, Canoe Club Studio. What's awesome is this opens up everything for the Canoe Club Studio. It's gonna continue to operate classes as well, but this is where we can do more yoga, bar, and dance classes. The space just lends itself to that type of class, and you'll see we'll be able to offer a lot more yoga and then expand on our bar programming with some different formats. So stay tuned there. I know everyone has been enjoying uh Harmony's Dance Fusion class, so we'll be able to at least have a second dance class on the weekly schedule uh once these changes occur. Here is a quick glimpse of the Moreland Striorland Gym, excuse me, the Moreland gym and how it will look in two-dimensional form uh once the transition takes place to the Pummetal Buff Fitness Center. Okay. So I'll just pause there, let you take a quick, quick peek at it. Uh, you can just see that all of the strength equipment, that's where we're our we have plans on laying it out. Um, but it fits perfectly. It's kind of like a no-brainer to just shift things over. And this will all happen at the same time uh as the transition to the the club fitness center. Okay? All right, operations. That was a lot. I think we've hit a ton of the key details so far. This is where it gets very fun for me. We get to start to talk about the program. And that's important to keep in your mind as we go through this. We want every single person who participates in the Palmetto Bluff Wellness program to have purpose and intention behind their selections. I'm not the type of person that wants you to work out to burn a certain number of calories. I want you to work out because it's gonna make a difference in your life. It's going to allow you to participate in life on your terms. So as we go through this section, I want you to look through the lens of your goals. I want you to look through, wow, how could I start to choose different group fitness classes that are gonna support those goals? I do think it's very important that you enjoy the classes that you go to. And at the same time, we can be very intentional and very efficient and effective with planning our weekly schedules. And so that's what program tracks are all about. So this is brand new. This is your first glimpse of what we are referring to as program tracks. We have three program tracks. Now, what's the purpose of this? This is for you to have more of a prescription of how to make selections in your week. And we have different archetypes of members here at Palmetto Bluff. That is one of my favorite parts about working here is not only the team, the people that I get to work with are amazing, but the members that we get to work with are amazing. And we have younger, older, we have folks from all over the country. We have folks who have been doing fitness their whole life, people who are just getting into it, reprioritizing it. And that's what these are about is for you to find where do you best fit? What is right for you in this season, and then we can kind of like tailor from there, which is pretty exciting. Uh, the good news is we're gonna have uh more conversations on these tracks, and we're actually gonna do some podcast episodes on these program tracks. So stay tuned for that. But just to give you a glimpse today, we have the perform track. This is our person who's been working out for quite some time. This is uh the individual who leans into more of the high intensity. Uh and so the prescription here is selecting one to two PB strongs a week, one to two PB mixed a week, and then one to two card PB cardio a week. This is kind of our signature track. It's the group of classes that we not only believe but know the a large percentage of our population are wanting to get into, are wanting to participate in. And that rounds out, you'll see here, mobility and stretch underneath every single program track. So this is that six-day a week schedule, if you want it, or a three-day-a-week schedule. And it's important to kind of know that even with the three days of doing one PB strong, one PB mixed, one PB cardio, you're in good shape. You will be still on a very intentional and evidence-based plan. Okay. I'll talk more on these formats here in a little bit. The second track we have is called Thrive. And I would say that probably this is the largest percentage of our members who are participating in our program. Uh, and you can see this is where we get a little more vague with what to participate in. So, two strength classes a week. You'll see below this track that examples of this could be foundational strength, TRX training, strength and balance, forever fit, simple strength. It could even be PB strong. Even though it's not listed there, any strength class two times a week is what we would want this member participating in. Then one cardio. You see how the cardio is vague. Well, right below it. Cardio options, cycling, dance fusion, aqua fitness, ruck group, swim group. And then, of course, this is where PB cardio could fit in as well. And then uh we want this individual shooting for one Pilates or one yoga class. So that variance in your body is very important just for injury prevention, but also creating a versatile, resilient type body doesn't just happen by doing the same formats over and over again. It definitely will change the game. And that's that's kind of the centerpiece of this program track. And then, of course, mobility and stretch. One of the cool parts about the expansion is you're gonna see a lot more mobility and stretch options. And we, collectively as a team, have seen way more participation in the mobility and stretch recently. So please, please, please keep coming to take care of your body. Do not just come in to beat your body up. Not that that's what we're trying to do, but there's a point to go hard, there's a point to go slow, and it's that software, hard, hardware balance balance that we need in our fitness. And then the final track, you'll see it listed here align. This is for my yogis of the group, my Pilates superheroes. Uh what I would say for this group is these are the individuals who just love yoga and Pilates. Totally fine. And we can create a holistic program around that. So once a week, Matt Pilates yoga, once a week, one time strength, though. You see that in here. I know a lot of this crowd tends to go to simple strength, which is a great, great option. Uh, but this could be going to PB Strong once a week. And then uh you will see sort of a reformatting of some of our stretch classes. You'll see listed here breath and stretch. So it's still a recovery-based class, but it's gonna uh involve a little bit more breath work as part of your program. Okay. Final piece on this, you'll notice one little delineation on the bottom. Maximize your results through personal training, Pilates Reformer, small groups, and then strength training small groups. I I think that's the best approach if you're very much looking for high-level improvements, having that individual attention, whether it's in a small group or one-on-one, even just once a week, does go a long way. I do think our classes and the way we're programming them uh will allow you to get even more benefit from them, but there's nothing that replaces that individual attention. To summarize our program tracks, I think this quote does it best. Lasting health isn't built on extremes, it's built on the right amount of exercise and nourishment done consistently. I believe Hippocrates first spoke about this. So keep that in your heart as you go about planning your new schedule. It is an exciting time to potentially back off doing as much as you did in the past and trying some different things. Okay. The moment you've all been waiting for program expansion. I am not going to judiciously or uh overly detailed go through this schedule, but I want to give you a glimpse of it. It is all subject to change, it's all subject to the discretion of utilization, but I want to give you a glimpse of what is going to be offered, what day is the week, and here we go. So, Pilates reformer classes, we are gonna offer them three to four times every morning. Second, we're gonna have more popular formats. So greater availability in the TRX classes, greater availability in cycling. PB Cardio. This is a brand new class. It's gonna be offered on Wednesdays and Fridays, evidence-based intervals. We've been hearing a lot about training to improve our VO2 max recently. And so one day in the week it's gonna be more endurance focused, and one day in the week it's gonna be more power sprint focused. So very excited about this new format. Uh, it's gonna kind of pull the cardio out of uh the strength on some days so that you can give your muscles a little bit of a break. We don't want to be doing strength every single day of the week. And then uh finally, yoga, a huge increase in morning yoga. Monday, Wednesday, Friday, we're gonna be able to offer yoga classes pretty much all morning under the supervision of one teacher who can lead the different formats. So very cool. Uh, that's kind of the high level outlook here. More classes. That's what's happening with program expansion. So let's let's get even more detailed here. Uh here's the functional training space. Quick uh 30-second overview. You will see those signature classes here. Uh PB mixed on Monday, PB strong on Tuesday, PB cardio Wednesday, Thursday, PB strong again, Friday, PB cardio, and then Saturday, PB mixed. Now, this will be a little confusing at first because not only are your spaces changing, but the formats are changing. PB mixed, strength and cardio. It's gonna be very much like the PB mix you know today. PB Strong is gonna be more strength-based. It's gonna actually be a three-week progressive program where you will uh do the same movements over a three-week period of time, and the rep schemes will change. How you do it will change a little bit so you can develop more positive adaptations to your muscles. So it's called the overload principle, folks. If we change the movements every single week, it's a lot harder to create uh the improvements that we're after to participate, actively participate in life on our terms. Uh, you will notice with the PB Strongs, we have five of them on Tuesdays, starting at 6 a.m. all the way to 10. Uh, we've been seeing a lot of popular popularity with the 6 a.m. uh class that we added. And so we do have a vision to expand that hour in the future because we want to get those people in members in. If you're you're working now, 6 a.m. is a really good time uh to get in, get out, uh, family stuff, you name it. So uh we will see that evolved. One thing that is a big expansion here, you'll see the PB mixed uh signature classes in the evening. So instead of just Tuesday, Thursday evening classes at 5 15, you're gonna have a Monday and Wednesday option as well. So super cool for that person who's more that evening individual. And then the additional mobility and stretch. Uh the one other highlight here on Friday, you will notice that golf fitness will now be offered uh a second time in the week at 10 a.m. So that's exciting. Um, of course, when you see PB strong like twice a week, it's a different workout on those days, but that progressive three weeks is gonna be a change because you're you guys are very much uh used to the variance that we have every single time. Uh, do note uh that this is all subject to change once again. And then the blue uh highlights here, that's the seasonal shifts. So just depending on utilization, summertime, we see less utilization. Certain classes may come off the schedule. So just know that's based off utilization. So if you keep coming and those classes are full, we won't reduce the schedule. Okay, that's the functional training space. Cycling studio, this one can be quick and brief. Uh, you can see Tuesday, there's an additional cycling class because we do see waitlists there. Thursdays, we have plans for an additional cycling class. We're just gonna monitor that. Uh, with with the move date, I'll I'll end with that. With how we're moving in, it's kind of during that seasonal shift time. Uh so we just we just want to be uh stewards of how much we put on a sketch on a schedule. We're already gonna be going from 83 classes to 112 classes, so it just doesn't make sense to overload the schedule or frankly um you know work our instructors too hard unnecessarily, right? Uh so on Mondays you will see we're looking at an additional cycle strength at 8 a.m. And then uh you can see that there's a lot of white spots in here. I I've got a vision to add potentially some different formats of classes like drums alive or potentially boxing in this space. So I will just put that out there that we are thinking about different formats for the cycling studio that could happen. Okay. Now let's move to Canoe Club Studio. This is where you can see uh the yoga laid out. You can see the evening uh classes. Pretty much we did our best to not move things too much. So a lot of what you're already going to, if it does shift a day, there's just more of it. Uh, and it is still operating every other day. You will notice that in the summertime, bar gets moved up to the 8 a.m. slot for uh aqua classes. But what's great is when aqua classes come off the schedule, we add a second bar class for when we get busier in October through through our uh mid-May period of time. Uh so yeah, uh Aqua classes are about to start up. If you are a uh scuba diver, you love being at these Aqua classes, come on out. Uh, we'll love to have you there. And uh the temperatures are are finally shifting. Uh, you will see that on Saturday uh we will potentially have yoga. We're not positive on that yet. Uh it's just going to be based off uh uh shifts. Uh the Matt Plotties that's currently at Canoe Club Studio will shift over to Moreland uh just because we can increase more uh participation at Moreland. For a mat class. And so that's the uh Canoe Club studio. Here is Moreland Studio. You can see uh not a whole lot of change, some additional simple strength classes and room to grow. If we need it, we can add an 11 a.m. when we get get uh into those peak seasons. Foundational strength, you'll see that'll be offered twice now, 7 a.m. and 8 a.m. And then you see TRX. It's doubled up, and then it goes right into Forever Fit. So Forever Fit, it's currently operating Monday, Wednesday. It will shift to Tuesday, Thursday, and it'll be offered at the Moreland Studio. Those are a few of the highlights uh there. And then finally, uh just a glimpse of the reformer studio. I would tell you with this one uh that there are gonna be new formats that pop up, uh, like the rotational sports reformer class. That's been very popular. Uh, jump board will remain on the schedule. You can see it there at 9 a.m. on Thursday. But you see that there's this shift in switching up advanced and beginner now that we can offer four classes in a morning, two beginner, to advanced, but shifting the times so that the beginners uh who are just getting used to reformer uh classes, they can go on Monday, Wednesday, Friday at 9 a.m., and then the advanced crowd can go at 9 a.m., Tuesday, Thursday, uh, and then Saturday. So just kind of trying to be fair to all different archetypes of members. Uh, but I think there's a lot of you out there who are gonna be pumped to be able to get in there at 8 a.m., knock it out, and then move into pickleball, golf, uh, uh work, family, you name it. Okay, key details. These are the number one questions I get most of the time currently here at Pometabluff. Uh, so current timeline is that we receive the keys on May 1st. That is the goal. I was over there just yesterday, and the contracting team, the contractors are moving very quickly. Uh, looks great, and they're gonna start painting kind of the tail end of next week. After that, it's flooring. And then the one thing that can really hold up construction, as many of you know, is the certified occupancy, okay? The CO. So that that's kind of will be the main thing once everything's set. Uh, but it's looking good, and um, I'm an optimistic guy. I think I think we're in pretty good shape to meet getting the keys in early May. Our plan is that we're gonna uh ask for uh one to two weeks to move in. We're gonna need at least a week to shift the programming and to shift uh just all the equipment and everything we have going on. Uh so that's just kind of a buffer for us to make sure it's it's in there. Uh so yeah, just kind of note that it was actually raised as a question even before we got to this slide at the live info session. Uh, but just we're gonna keep communication high. So, in regards to registering for classes, you'll see it here. There will be some changes in the class schedule during this one to two week transition time. So be ready for that. Communication will be extremely clear and high. Uh, the registration window will most likely be one week in advance for the new Pomada Bluff Club Fitness Center just for that first week. Because we need to be a little more fluid here, we need to be a little bit more flexible. Uh, it will go back to the every two weeks registration process, but just be aware that that will be happening. Okay. All right. Let's go ahead. We're gonna move into some of the details that may not be as pertinent here. Uh, but program design. I'll spend uh just a few minutes here and then we'll wrap up and we are right on schedule. So, program design, just want to let you in uh to the cafe menu. What we're looking at is having three aspects to the menu: fuel, recover, and nourish. Fuel is where these will be items on the menu that are definitely higher in protein, but have a complex carb profile. You'll see it here. I need steady energy. This is the type of fuel that you might be purchasing from the cafe. Recover, post-workout repair and hydration. I just trained. I want a high protein smoothie. So smoothies are gonna be a big feature of the new cafe. And then finally, nourish. This is gonna be an opportunity for healthier lunches, healthier grab and go. This is that daily wellness lighter option. I want to feel good long term. I want nutrient dense meals in my week. Our goal is for this cafe to make it easier for you. Now, PB mixed, we spoke on it earlier, very similar to the PB strong that you know and love today. It'll still be offered twice a week, Mondays and Saturdays. You see, it's more of that dynamic warm-up into uh your combination of those hit cardio machines with the strength training. PB strong PB Mix can be everything under the sun, so you will see the formats changing frequently depending on the programming week. But that gives you just a quick glimpse of uh the Monday first week when we open up. Uh we will actually be introducing a benchmark week, so stay tuned on that. But this gives you a good feel of something that you're you're probably already quite familiar with if you are a current uh PB Strong uh participator. Second, this is the new look of PB Strong. So check it out. A little more elegance to the warm-up. I just mean a little more time to soft tissue and corrective stretch before we activate and then neurologically facilitate getting you ready for the workout. You'll see that every 70 seconds you will be doing a certain number of reps. So we want to go slower in this class now. That's right. I know that's scary for many of us. It's okay, it's gonna be fine. But we're gonna go slower so that we can lift a little bit heavier and with super positive quality technique. What will happen over the three-week period of time is you'll go from 10 reps to eight reps, then to six reps. So what we're looking for is that you gradually increase your weights week to week. Uh, it also does give you a feel that uh like in station five and six here, seven and eight, you've got more of the accessory work. So hitting the arms a little bit more, still getting the core work in there, and then the coveted farmer carry. Okay, that's just one sample of a PB strong workout. Next we have PB cardio. So this is completely new. This is an example of an endurance day. So you can see the work is five intervals, three and a half on, uh three and a half steady, and then three into push. Push means going into these higher zones, like zone four in this case, because it's an endurance day. This is our evidence-based VO2 max improvement training. So you'll notice that the warm-up, kind of cool. It'll be a dynamic warm-up. This space is so big that we'll do some skip variations, get you moving throughout the entire space. Very different than just being kind of like condensed in place in the Moreland studio. You know, you know the feeling. Anyways, um, we've got that going on, and then do notice in the recoveries that we're integrating a lot more breath work. More in that soon. But we're gonna focus a lot on making sure you downregulate after a cardio type class. And then finally, you just get one more example of the newest uh programming, PB cardio. This is where you have a power section and then you have a sprint section. I'm very excited about this format because it's definitely something that's missing in most individuals' programs out there. But we'll actually have uh an every minute on the minute uh power training session when you're fresh and not fatigued. You'll see depth box jump there, lateral bounds, a bent over med ball slam, really safe, uh intense movements at a low volume. So a lot of fitness programs out there, they're just doing way too much volume of power movements, and it's not actually power. Uh so that will then shift into sprint training with use of those uh hit cardio machines uh that we have in the space. So quick glimpse on that stuff. You will definitely um be on your toes as you get to experience these new classes, and it's a really exciting time. Uh, the team and myself have been working extremely diligently behind the scenes to get all of our new slide programming up to date. It's a collective effort, and that's what makes these classes dynamic and different, so you get a taste of all of our collective minds coming together to create the best workouts for you. Um, very different than any other community, uh, at least that, at least that I'm aware of. All right. Um with the schedule, with those class formats, I want this to just hit you hit you in the heart here for a second. Every workout has a purpose, and the right dose is what turns your effort into progress. So keep that in mind. We're gonna be here to assist you in choosing classes, choosing the choosing what's right for you on a weekly basis, and that's what this program is all about meeting you where you are and ensuring that you can get the most out of whatever you show up to. Now, I would like to just end with a huge thank you for taking the time to listen in today. I I think we did uh a decent job. The info session stayed at this time length as well. Uh, and I hope these details are helpful for you as we move into this next phase of the Palmetable Blood Wellness Program. I said it earlier, our mission is to enhance the club member experience by executing unparalleled wellness programming. And how we're going to do that is by always remaining humble, developing positive relationships, and crushing the expectations. We hope this is the glimpse that starts to get you behind the scenes of where our heads are at, where our hearts are at, and we couldn't be more excited to have your feedback, have your participation, and for the growth that we're about to experience. Thank you for listening in the middle of the day.
