Thank you so much to the team at New Balance of putting on today, guys. Round of applause if you're here. Our first ever live show, extremely exciting. yeah, they put in so much hard work to get everything set up and we're very grateful. welcome to Cheeky Run Club, the social running podcast and community for your everyday amateur runner. Hello, Phoebe. Hello Anna. And hello people guys. Welcome to our first ever live show. How are you feeling? Oh, I am slightly freaking out, but that is okay. My good friend Louis. Just told me to picture everyone naked when you are feeling a little bit nervous. So is that helping? No, not really. So today we're doing something a little bit different for the episode. We wanted to try and keep it interactive, so Thank you so much to everyone who submitted. We are doing some ins and outs for 2026. we're doing some running hot takes and controversial opinions that we'll be responding to, and we are also doing some listener questions. we haven't seen them yet, so very excited to go through them all with you. But first, as always, we're gonna kick it off with our very brief, best and worst runs of the week. So, Anna, give me your worst run. okay. My worst run was I. It's actually, I don't know. I guess it's a bit of a hot take. Shaving your legs when you're pregnant is actually really hard. I can't wait to see how you loop this back to running. Well, I feel like it's running related because obviously you're in shorts. You wanna feel good and have maybe like less hair on your legs. Anyway, if anyone has any ideas of how to make it a little bit easier. let me know, maybe Dave could help out as then, maybe not. anyway, what is your worst run or running related activity this week? I have to say I've felt pressure this week on my runs for one of them to be really bad and one of them to be really good. and I don't have a particularly terrible one, but I did, I was away for work this week on a work trip down the coast. For an offsite, and it was a really fun few days, but typically don't get a heap of sleep where kind of like staying up late, team bonding, et cetera. And I had to do a session on Friday morning, which I was hugely demotivated for. I tried to rope in some colleagues and I, successfully, so I thought roped in some colleagues and all of them at 6 28 messaged me being like, oh, I'm not gonna come. So I set out by myself. I was meant to do kind of like a long tempo, And I was at down the peninsula at a place called Mount Martha where. It's a bit hilly. And because I was feeling unmotivated, I wanted to try and find somewhere a little bit more flat to run. spontaneously turned into what looked like a little, it looks like a nice flat, do you know the creeky kinda, yeah. I thought to run the boardwalk. Yeah. Balman Creek. The, the boardwalk. Yeah. Anyway, tried to do a long session on a boardwalk, which was, it's like you're winding through a swamp. ended up it was. It was a very unusual, it was a very unusual session, but I mainly mo mostly just like kept kind of forgetting that I was meant to be doing a tempo. but yeah, got it done nice in the end, but wasn't particularly speedy or fun, but that's okay. That was the worst run. Tell me about your best. Mine was yesterday, so I've been doing some walk runs. and, oh, everyone, that's my niece Rowe. Shout out to Hey Row. Was yesterday morning. A few of us went Northside up to Northcott and walked from there. But it was really cool'cause there was a couple of us walk running and then you guys were just running. and we timed it really well, so we. I ended up running way more than I was walking, which was really fun. And then we went to this cafe and literally everything was gluten free on the menu apart from one thing. So I was just in absolute heaven, my new favorite cafe. Yeah, that was really nice. It was very nice friend. Yeah, we turned around and we were running back past you guys. And you just immediately Yeah. Stutter around. Yeah. And Dave was in the walk run group and I think he was hoping for more walks. Anyway, my, what was yours? My best run? Well, it was almost that, to be honest, that was a great run. My best run was track session on Tuesday, training for 5K at the moment. And we had a really fun crew, a group of girls doing the sesh, and. The session was 2K Tempo and then we had like full recovery, three minute standing rest, and then we did 10 by 500. also with like a good standing rest in between. And our friend Izzy has. Start, she's gotten into this habit of blasting music on her phone while she runs. And there is something so fun about running around a track with she plays club music, but like bangers. I see. Do you I get embarrassed. I feel like it's very aggressive. Embarrassed. Yeah. But then it's super motivating, You kind of feel like you're in a moody or something. Yeah, there's like a soundtrack going. and it definitely, yeah, made the session go a lot faster, so I very much enjoyed that one. Lovely. All. Should we get into the main topic ish of the week? Yeah, the ins and outs. Let's do it ins and outs. So we have a few cards here and we haven't actually looked at them, so hopefully we like them. Okay. So the First Inn is re-wearing old kit until it smells bad or starts to get too old to wear. Yeah. I love this. You're a fan. I'm a fan. I feel like one of my favorite running t-shirts I got in like 2018. 2019. Yeah. So, yeah, I like it. What about you? Well, I'm not sure about this Smells bad bit, but Yeah, true, true, true. That's probably, yeah. But I feel like surely if you wash it, no. Yeah, some, I reckon some materials. I don't know what you think about this, but I have some shirts that I feel like retain, smell more. strongly than others. Mm, yes. Yeah. The, yeah. Yeah. The holy one. Yeah. Yeah. Literally that's one. Yeah. Yeah. but we'll say that's in, I quite like that as rule. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. We'll keep that in. Yeah. Okay. Second in, ah, running for fun and not training for races. This is a bit, actually this is almost one of my ins for the year because. My running word of the year is spark. I wanna find my running spark and joy and what something I really struggle with is when I don't have races in the calendar, losing my motivation with my running. Mm. And so trying to not have a race in the calendar, but still find running fun and enjoyable is good. Good in for 2026. Yeah. Yeah. I also quite like the idea, which I have been doing. As of late is still doing races or fun runs, but just enjoying them. Yeah. Yeah. I feel like,'cause you still wanna be, I don't know, it's like nice to be a part of things, not like racing them. Yeah, yeah, yeah. All right. Next raw dogging runs, so I assume this means, yeah. I assume this means not wearing a watch. No. Yeah. That must be watch list, but also head no headphones. Oh, yep, yep, yep. Yeah. At one with nature. Yeah. I aspire to be doing more of this, as in, do you always wear headphones when you run by yourself? No. Watch. I always wear wear watches. Yeah. Yeah. Also, do you think that means not running with people? Well, yeah, I guess I just remember that I think it was a trend last year and they were like raw doning plane flights, so people would just get on the plane and not do anything. I just think of that, but running, yeah. I like it. I don't know. I would love to do more. Not for me more. I would love to do more watch list runs. Runs. I find it really hard to not, like sometimes I'll think to myself before I go out, like, just take your watch off. But why always like, because have you done, like, when did you lost a watch list run? It actually does make a difference. But is it like, it's not stressful? I don't, I just don't really understand. It's not, it's not stressful. It's not, it's not stressful. It's that like. You genuinely don't care at all about, you just don't think about your stats, your lifetime, your, there's just no thinking about that. Yeah. I reckon the challenge should be wearing your watch, but not thinking or caring about it. Yeah. That's next level. Getting around people on a run, even if you don't know them, EG at a park run. Yes. I love this actually. You know, shout out to this guy over here. Stand up. He is everyone's biggest fan. On the run, we to the point where you actually are almost are you being condescending? We, we ran past a park run yesterday and there was like a bit of a contest going on up the front and Nick picked his guy who was his favorite and he was like, go get him, go get outta. You could tell he was getting like revved up by it though, like I love it. Absolutely love it. Yeah. it was exciting. But I also, I love this for the track we run down at, Olympic Park on a Tuesday morning. I, a bunch of you, we see there as well and cheering people on when they're going around the track. Even if you don't know them, it's so, and as you're running past or like they're ever taking you or whatever, just being like, what are some good things to say? Oh, I'm so boring. I just say their name if I know it or I say. Go girls. Yeah, go Girls. Looking good. Yeah. Yeah. You don't need to get too crazy. Yeah. Yeah. Alright. Time for some outs. I reckon these will be surely there's some spicy ones. This is a bit spicy. Okay. I'm not sure if you guys are aware, there's this Instagram account that's started. I can't remember exactly what it's called, but essentially they call out. People who have gone from their Strava time rather than their chip time in a race kind of thing. So I guess they, it's called like official official unofficial, yeah. Like race timing. cause obviously a lot of the time you are watch thinks you've run further. So in a race it might say you've run like 10.1 where the race is 10, but people just take their Strava. Time as their pb, so they call people out a lot of the time they call influencers out, it seems. Yeah, yeah. Anyway, so, well, not many other people are posting, I guess. Yeah, their times. That's true. Yeah. So this out is anonymous Instagram accounts calling out people for not posting their chip time and only posting their Strava time. So this out is against that account. Yeah, I have to say that account has worn on me really quickly. When we, we first saw it, we were like, this is amazing. This is really entertaining. But now I look at it and like it's sometimes like a 22nd discrepancy and I. Oh, just leave them be, does it matter that much? Yeah. I just feel like, yeah, feel now. I feel like, yeah, I don't know. It's a bit punching down maybe. Also, I just like, it doesn't really make a difference to your life. I just don't care anymore. So. Yeah. Yeah. But different if people are like claiming world records or something. I think also, I think. Some of the people who are called out are run coaches. And so then it's, yeah, that's a bit, don't do, don't do that. Yeah. Because you shouldn't really be encouraging now. No, no, you shouldn't do. That's a good one. I like it. I like it. Okay. Um, out is checking people's elapse time. I actually don't, I don't wait. Yeah, I, I think you're gonna have to explain. I don't really get Why would you take anyone's laps time? Oh, I know. is in, not on a run, I would say. Yeah, on Strava. On Strava, you can check people's laps time, and you can see, if they pause, they stopped much on a run, which, you know, there's no strictly, there's no need to check that. But I sometimes, and I, I'm better at it now, but I would say when. I used to have less of a healthy relationship with running, I don't know, Strava.'cause it can be quite toxic and you can compare things a lot. Sometimes I'd see people and they'd done like an amazing run. I'd be like, did they, they must have stopped and I'd check their el laps time. So I think this person is saying that's out for me.'cause I'm not gonna be like obsessing over other, like comparing myself to other people's run, which to which I say good on you. Yeah. Yep. I've never thought of doing that. I might start doing it. Okay. Another out plan. Oh, yes. Planning a post work run and forgetting an essential item eg. Sports, brass, socks, et cetera. Even worse, when you're already half dressed in the work bathroom. Uh, this is a big one. This is so good. I also, I reckon I would expand this to when you've gone for a run or something and then you go to work, get changed, and then you realize. You don't have an essential item eg. Sports bra, under socks, et cetera. There have like countless times that that has happened to me. It's very nice. I think I even like one time on the podcast, I actually, thought I'd, oh, I feel like I'm like exposing myself too much with the shave legs and now this anyway, but I like got changed and everything and then realized I'd forgotten my undies and I was like, oh my God, I'm gonna have to like. Put my undies back on and then I went out into the, like, foyer of the hospital and my fresh undies had somehow fallen onto the ground and I had to like quickly like go and run for them while no one was looking and then put them back in my bag anyway, I did not need to say that. Yeah. Um, but yes. Yeah. That's an out, that's an out. Yep. last out. Interesting. People who draft behind you for a whole race or park run and then overtake at the finish line. Have you had this happen to you before? I mean, probably not that I've noticed, but probably. Have you done this to someone else before? Probably. I don't reckon that's an out, it's a race. Do what you want. I feel like that's smart. I reckon they're the smarter race though. I think it's really fun when you work together with people and like you drive behind them for a little bit and then you're like, I'll jump in front for a minute now. Yeah, yeah. Uh, no. Yeah, no, I do understand. That would be preferable. That is, that is definitely, yeah. That's the more noble thing to do. Yeah. That's the more noble thing. But I reckon like if they, can, if they can do, if they can sprint past you, then yeah, they should sprint past you. Yeah. I famously remember when I was like in under nine. Or under tens. this girl we were running and in this cross country race and she was like, let's come a draw. And I was like, oh, okay, cool. I know. Anyway, we were running and literally like five meters from the finish line. She's just rented in front and I remember being annoyed but being like, she wasted me. She sit and kick the oldest strategy in the book. alright. Should we get into hot takes? Oh yeah. So we thought for Hot take, hot takes are hard because. People often submit hot takes and sometimes they're not. They're takes, but they're not that hot, hot. So for these, we're gonna say we thought we'd say whether we agree with them, but then we'll also rate them on how spicy we actually think they are. Yeah, yeah, yeah. We should have a barometer of like culture hot. Sounds good. Warm. Okay. oh, this isn't meant to be an in. We couldn't possibly go back to the ends. Ah, oh, let's do, let's, that's a good one. Yeah. I like it's talking about your real, a goal in a race. Mm. Which we've spoken about before that often for a race. When people ask you what your goal is, people communicate their, what is probably their big goal or like a runner up goal. They don't communicate their their true, most ambitious goal. Do you do that? I didn't most recently for the marathon, but I feel like I've had to force myself to, to, yeah, yeah, I guess maybe it's just like they. I feel like I do that all the time, but it's almost, I, I reckon you definitely use, I do that all the time. You'd say your time and I'd be like, oh, here we go. but I reckon it's a like protect yourself a little bit in case you don't get it. Yeah.'cause you're already gonna be disappointed. Yeah, definitely. It's like a fear of failure thing. But No, I feel like that's a, i, I like that that's an in, that's an in, I think. Good to just put yourself out there and Cool to try. Very cool to try. Yeah. Alright. Back to the hot Takes. Real hot takes. run club intimidation. So many run clubs feel like everyone already has their crew. Showing up alone can be intimidating whilst most are welcoming and it can feel like you're still the new kid. Mm. Okay. So it's saying run clubs are, everyone's kinda got their career at run clubs. Yeah. I actually agree. I. I feel like run clubs are on an interest, interesting trajectory where they all started, like so many run clubs started two years ago or even like start of last year maybe. And so many people, they were like growing, growing, growing. And then the groups formed. And people became really good friends. Yeah. And now I feel like they're the group and I do feel like it would feel more intimidating to come. Whereas when a group run club just starts, it's like so easy just to come along.'cause you're just one of many new people. Yeah, that's true. I even think the, like the group that we run with on a Tuesday, you kind of already, I. we have our friends that we met there a few years ago. Yeah. And back, like, it would be very intimidating. You almost like become really good friends of that group and then you don't need the run club anymore. Yeah. Yeah. I also reckon this isn't on that card, but I have a, theory for what's gonna happen with, with run clubs this year. Ooh. You are an Yeah. My own hot take. A hot take. We could say, okay, I re we're gonna see some run club acquisitions. No. Or people trying to sell. Wow. That was a, that was controversial. I think we're gonna see some people trying to sell their run clubs. Really? Yes. Because this is just a cycle of life. Like they start the run club. It's so fun. It's growing. It's exciting. They're learning how to do socials. It's this whole journey. And then you know, they're getting brands interested, but then like, it's a probably a lot of work. I imagine there becomes run club drama, it becomes less enjoyable and then maybe they're, they're like, I'm busy, I've got work. And and I've seen, I saw a run club, someone, they did like a post on Instagram being like, I'm looking for someone. To like hand over the Run club to someone else. Mm. to like take over ownership. But I think some people are gonna be like, I'd love to try and sell it to like a brand, a cafe, Yeah. Something like that. Yeah. or they could go, what were we talking about last week? That str Strava's Gone Public. Yeah. What's, what's it called? Called ipo, IPO. Maybe that is a hot take. No, I think that's a very, very cold take. okay, wait. Sorry. Are we, how, what is it on the scale? Oh yeah. Um, of the intimidation think, I think that's a hot take. I think. Yeah. Well, I think run clubs would be, would run, club leaders would be like, that's a hot take. We're so inclusive and not intimidating. But I think a lot of people outside of run clubs would agree with that. Yeah. Yeah, that's right. Because I reckon if you agree with it, it's hot. No, no, no, no, no, no. Sorry. Agreeing. Okay. Agreeing. Agreeing is one thing, and then separately how controversial generally is it? Oh, okay. So I would say it's medium controversial. Yeah. Yeah. I wouldn't say that's, yeah. Okay. you should, you should say your full PB times for shorter distances because 1955 for a five kilometer is very different from 19 minutes flat. Someone is so annoyed at someone else's, I reckon they should just be a text message to your friend that's annoying you. Okay. But that, I mean, do when you're saying you're 5K PB. I don't think I ever say, I don't know. Um, what's your vibe giving? No, I would definitely, yeah. I feel like, I feel like you say the second. I don't know. Yeah. I feel like I'm a bit, I'm, I think that big of a rough, yeah. I think it would be weird to be like 19 minutes, 55 seconds, but you could probably say like just under 20 minutes kind of thing. Yeah. Yep. You, yeah. Whereas for a half marathon non would ever care what your second were. Yeah. Unless you're, I just don't really have that much of opinion on this one. Like, yeah, I don't really care. But then I would say, I would still say that's a pretty controversial take then if someone strongly feels that way. Yeah. Or write it as a hot take. Yeah. Yeah. And like why are you so annoyed about it? Yeah, I know. Say what you want. All right. okay. Gels are overpriced. Yes, yes. Collective. Yes. Okay. I'm gonna say not a hot take. I would say that's just a, that's just a very standard opinion that are No, I, I do agree. But also everyone still uses them. Like I love, just go and buy some lollies or those little apricot delight things. They have as many like carbs and everything. Yeah. And they cost 50 cents a bag or they also taste nicer. Gels are, yep. I definitely agree with that. Yeah. Although someone was telling me on a run. Yesterday, jazz was telling me she's been buying the$1 Kohl's gels, which that sounds like a bargain. And they're not that bad apparently. Okay. It's Kohl's gels. Yeah. That's hard take. That's a hard take. okay. Strava can be really, oh, this is a bit sad. Strava can be really toxic and ruin running self-esteem. Oh. Oh. I. I quite like that they've said running self-esteem. I wonder if, I do feel like there's almost your everyday self-esteem and then people can have a separate category for your running self-esteem running. Yeah. I think a, yeah, I feel like a lot of people would've felt like that. I don't feel like it's a huge hot take, but I do agree with it. Yeah. Yeah. I mean, we've spoken before on the podcast about that that strava's a little bit toxic in terms of dark cyber. It's just like, it's so easy. To compare yourself to others. Yeah. And it's so easy to obsess over your own data, especially if you check their elapse time. Oh yeah. That's when you know you're in the dark side of travel. You find yourself in someone's elapse time from like a, a long run six months ago. Anyway. Tell me how you really feel. Yeah. okay. Last hot take. 5K Races are harder than a marathon. That is a bit of a hot take. Yeah. Controversial. actually I'm interested put up behind if you agree with that, take that 5K races are harder than a marathon. We've got something at the back. Okay. Yeah. Johnny, boy, I as bad agrees. I mean, I feel like you can probably speak to this better. I've only ever done one marathon and I actually just enjoyed it, the whole thing. So, but so do you find you've done a few five Ks? I find five Ks really hard. Really hard. Yeah. Yeah. I think for me, no. I think marathons have still been harder but hard in different ways. the last 400 meters of a 5K is harder than the last 400 meters of a marathon. Yeah. Yeah, I reckon it's like you just spr I just don't think you ever are trying to hit that top sport. You're not ever trying to hit that top speed in a marathon. but yeah, that, that's obviously a hot take'cause not many people agreed with that. Mm. Yeah. alright. We'll do some listening questions. Yeah. Yep. Let's finish it off. So, how do you deal with plateauing running progress? Oh, very relevant for me at the moment. I feel like I've been in a running plateau for a couple of years now. You really settle into it. Yeah. I mean, it's definitely a big part of the running journey I feel like you first start like really getting into it and training and maybe you get a program or something like that. You start running regularly and it's like crazy. How quickly, well, it's not crazy, but you do seem to like feel like you're improving. Improve, yeah. Everywhere. It's almost like when you're getting back from an injury and you're like, woo. Yeah. But I feel like I've very much had to accept that you just can't be on the up always. Yeah. Yeah. I also, but I, I kind of think as well, it's even more rewarding than when you do get a PB or something. because you're like, oh my gosh, this is because I've been so consistent and have actually like, put in the work for like ages and ages. Yeah. Do you ever look at that graph on you? Probably don't, now that I'm lying. You don't go into Strava that much. The like fitness graph on Strava. Does anyone look at the fitness graph on Yeah. Okay. It is the most, is it true, do you think? I don't, can't be, couldn't possibly be, couldn't be it just You, you think you're plateauing, but it will say you like you're going downhill. Like it's really, it's a very, critical, I would say take on your running. But I feel like, you gotta almost, if this is you and you're feeling like you're in a running plateau. Mm. You almost maybe need like a different goal for a while. Like the goal has to be not like improving. Yeah. Necessarily. Like you can set a different goal. It can be like, oh, I wanna make more running friends, or you know, I wanna What's another running goal? You can just enjoy running more. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Have a little bit more fun, like, I don't know. Go and do different runs in different places. Yeah. And almost have like a concerted period where you're genuinely being like, I'm actually not running to get faster right now. Yeah. I'm purely running just to enjoy it and for whatever reason and then restart and be like, okay, now I'm gonna like try something different with my running. Maybe gonna try and train for a different kind of event. Yeah. Or like switch up what I'm doing a little bit, switch up where I'm running, who I'm running with. I also kind of like the idea of if you are in that and you're like finding it frustrating, instead of just trying to go to races that you know are, are fast courses, like go to places that you actually. Want to kind of explore the destination. Mm. And then if it's a hilly, I don't dunno, you're still like doing stuff and you still have race schools or whatever, if that's what you wanna do, but then you actually get to see cool places. Like I really wanna, there's a marathon around Uluru, which I think is like one sort of sand, dirt. But I really, I just feel like that would be such a cool experience, maybe on the cards for you later this year, later in a couple months. Yeah. I, yeah, I reckon just like focus on other things. Yeah. Yeah. And also, obviously it's amazing, but that's not really the reason why. It's not the sole reason why we all run. Yeah. so yeah. Yeah. I like it. The next question is. Oh, wow. How to deal with relationship suffering due to intense training schedules. Friends who prefer nights out, not being invited to things because they know you won't drink slash party. That's a toughie. that's a good one. I, yeah. Or I don't, I don't know. I feel like. It is harder, when you're like in the depths of training for something, obviously your like, social life kind of falls to the back a little bit, but I, and maybe it's just me, but like I feel like I enjoy running and life more if I'm still doing the other stuff. Even if it means that you're not like getting drunk and coming home at 3:00 AM but you can still go and have a fun time and come home at 10. Mm-hmm. so I feel like there is a bit of a balance. Like you don't have to. Do everything to that absolute extreme. Yeah. But then, I mean, we've spoken about this how hard it is when you are trying really to train for something. Mm. Just, and just for like a couple of months, you really do want it to be a focus and you're trying to like recover and do all that kind of stuff. Yeah. But I thinks, I think that's a few, there's probably a point in time maybe. Yeah. I feel like for a short period of time, I feel like that's okay and it's like good on you for putting all that effort into something. But also the, A friendship sort of ebb and flow and maybe for that period of time you're just not as close to those people. Or maybe, you know, you might, even though you might not be hanging out with them or they might not be inviting you to the club, you can, like, you might make other friends that you have similar interests in for that time. Thoughts on just having a chat with them? To say with the friends. Yeah. Just being like, oh, I really wanna still catch up with you guys and spend meaningful time with you just for this period of time. I'm like, loving my running. I'm getting so much joy out of it. I, I've had this idea of why don't we do this outing? Yeah, definitely. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Come on rugby. Good idea. Yeah. Get them into rugby. Um, okay. Luck. second. Last, okay. Thoughts on Australian marrs? Which is the best? Oh, that's probably a better one for you.'cause I've only done, but you've been along to a lot of the events. Yes, true, true, true. I reckon the best. I reckon the best for a fast marathon is probably still Gold Coast. Mm. Gold Coast is like very flat. And there's always huge groups of people running at every pace and lots of paces and everything. Yeah. I love Gold Coast'cause I just love the weekend. It's, it's like in July, so I feel like it's kind of a bit miserable in Melbourne and it's like fun to go on a weekend away with friends and go to, I mean. Historically we haven't had any luck with the weather, but I feel like it's actually just nice to get away for the weekend. Yeah. I really wanna do or go to Sydney. I feel like we'd watch the,'cause last year was the first year that it was a MA major. Yeah. Is that right? Yeah. and that was really cool. So I reckon that would love to do that top, top of my list to the next. Yeah. Otherwise Melbourne obviously Melbourne's really good. Melbourne's was Melbourne's fast I reckon. And Ballarat people seem to be really enjoying Yeah. As a. It's on in April, so a bit of a different time of year. Mm. Yeah. Also the, for the second time, the Uluru Marathon. Uluru Marathon. Um, I reckon that would be cool. I've done Canberra Marathon and it's, and not too bad. Mm. You could go to Quest com. Yeah, you could drop inquest driving. there's, there's a few on the Sunshine Coast as well. I feel that we like. Yep. Alright, final question. Final question. Okay. Uh, what is your earliest fond running memory? Ooh, My early, well this, this guy over here, come on. The guy in the pink socks, he used to my dad. So he used to drag me around the tent when I was younger. And then I remember, I distinctly remember Will running at the bit where near the shrine, down the hill. And then I think I was really tired or something. And he, uh. I remember you said one time you, in a few years you will just Absolutely. This will be like your favorite time of the day anyway. And I think, well, maybe not ever since then, but particularly in the last five years or something. It literally is the fav my favorite time of every day. Oh, on your John, what about you? Oh, I don't know. I feel like. I, okay, this isn't my most fond running memory, but one of my most exciting running memories from when I was a little kid, I was doing a cross country race and for some reason my auntie was coming along to watch and for some reason she, without telling my mom, told me that if I came in the top 10, I could get, I think she said she'd give me.$50, which is a crazy, that is wild. Yeah. Crazy amount of money back then. and I remember coming up to the last bit and counting the girls in front of me and I was 12th or something and I just hit, I just, I did the sit and kick that I probably should have done. Um. And crossing the line in ninth place was the best feeling. Yeah. And I was so excited. And I told my mom after and she was like, oh my God, did you get the$50? Ah, yeah, I'm sure I got$50. Yeah, yeah, yeah. You know what I also liked? I don't know if at Little Athletics, I can't remember. Every time you got a pb you got a free sausage. I don't remember that. And I remember, oh, really? Really? And so we had these sheets anyway, so then it was like. So you'd have, you'd go up to the thing and then if you got a PB the week before, then you'd get a free sausage. And I remember one time I got three bbs and I got three sausages anyway. Oh my God. I had a, I remember at Little Athletics doing a, um, you know, I used to do those realize that were like back and forth. Yeah. Yeah. They like shuttle. Yeah. This is also not like a happy running memory, but it was a really exciting one. The girl who was running towards me was quite an. Angry kid and she was, she ran really badly in her leg. And instead of handing it to me, she whacked me on the head with the bunny, which was actually also quite exciting. I was like a lot of drama'cause I was like, running is super excited. Oh my god, you didn't never know what's gonna happen. Alright, I think that's all we got time for. Yeah, but thank you all so much for coming this morning. And yeah, for coming on the run and for supporting Cheeky It. Yeah, it really means so much. We really appreciate it. and yeah, once again, just thank you so much to New Balance and Rebel Sport for having us here today, letting us test their 10 eighties, giving these the t-shirts. And yeah. Thanks everyone. Have a lovely day. Thank you, Phoebe. Bye bye. Yay. Nice.
