If you're here, it's because something painful happened and maybe you have never fully said it out loud. He hit you and it hurts, not just your body, but your spirit. Your trust. Your sense of safety.
Maybe you told someone, and they said, just move on. Maybe you told no one because you were afraid. You wouldn't be believed, but you are here now. And that means you are already doing the bravest thing. You're facing your pain with love.
This meditation is not about fixing you. This meditation will help you create space. To feel what you have been holding and to let your nervous system know that you are safe now.
Let's begin, sister.
I want you to close your eyes gently. And I want you to place one hand on your heart. And one on your belly. Take a slow breath in through your nose. Hold it softly. And exhale through your mouth.
I want you to breathe in again. Inhale peace. Exhale the weight.
Let your breath move like a wave. Gentle, loving, and steady.
Now bring your awareness to the parts of your body that still hold tension. Maybe your shoulders. Maybe your chest. Maybe a specific memory lives in a part of you that aches. I want you to breathe into that space.
And as you do, say softly in your heart: I am so sorry you went through that. It was not your fault. You didn't deserve it.
Let your body hear those words. Maybe for the first time.
You were never meant to be hurt in the name of love. You were never meant to be afraid in your own home.
I want you to now imagine a warm light. Golden. Soft and strong. Wrapping itself around you. It holds you like a mother. Like a sister. Like a version of you that never stopped believing in love.
Let that light move through your chest. Down your arms. Through your belly and back. Into your legs. And feet. But it reminds you that every part of you is safe now. You are safe now.
I am safe now.
Repeat this mantra.
You might feel sadness. You might feel nothing. Both are OK.
Now repeat these truths inside your heart:
I am not what happened to me.
I am the woman who chose to live.
I am healing in my own time.
I am reclaiming my body, my breath, my voice.
I am worthy of peace.
I am worthy of love that doesn't hurt.
Stay here for one more deep breath. And let your body soften. Let your heart feel like today feels a little lighter. Let your truth be enough for today.
If this meditation gave you a sense of relief, or even brought up tears — that's healing. And know that you are not alone in this.
There is nothing wrong with you. There is only pain that wants to be seen and soothed.
