Welcome to Personal Development mastery podcast episode 519 Today's episode is a little different. I want to take a moment, or a few moments, to say, thank you, not just broadly to everyone who listens to the show, but personally to those of you who have taken the time to reach out, connect and share your reflections with me. It means more to me than you realise. So in this episode today, I want to acknowledge four listeners who I recently had conversations with and briefly share what stood out from my conversations with them and the first person I spoke with in this series of listener conversations was Laura. Laura shared how she listens while running and how the variety of guests keeps the content relevant to her changing moods and energy. She also encouraged the idea of creating in person events around the podcast, which is something that I am considering. So Laura, thank you for our conversation and also for your LinkedIn. Post about the podcast, I appreciate you, and the second listener I want to acknowledge is Karen. Karen is a former psychotherapist and interior designer, and she spoke beautifully about how she connects with the podcast on a relational level. She said she values the vulnerability in the conversations, and she particularly enjoyed the episode I recently did with alexan Filippo, Karen reminded me of how powerful it is to be authentic, to be present and to express clearly, and she even bravely shared her desire of one day being a guest on the show, Karen, thank you for our conversation. Thank you for opening up. Thank you for sharing your insights, and also for being a long standing listener of the podcast. I appreciate you. Then I will acknowledge TR. Tr discovered me through Chapter X podcast, where I went as a guest a few months ago. My conversation with TR was deep and reflective. He spoke about transitioning out of a long career in sales and redefining his purpose post retirement, as he said, even though he said that the word retirement does not necessarily fit what he wants to do and what others, many others, want to do after their official job, shall we say? Ends. TR, even shared his personal mission statement, which is creating connection for the well being of others. What a beautiful intention. Tr, thank you for reaching out. I appreciate you. And then I also want to acknowledge Harris, who we didn't speak on Zoom, like I did with Laura, Karen and TR, but Harris sent me a simple but powerful reflection. He said he listens to a lot of self development content, including this podcast, but he struggles with turning that knowledge into consistent action. And isn't that something many of us relate to? That challenge of applying what we learn, of turning insight into consistent action. As a matter of fact, this is something I'm very passionate about, and it's also one of the main focuses of the one to one mentoring and coaching. Work that I do, helping others bridge that gap between knowing and doing, it is a recurring theme that I often notice in my conversations, coming back to my reflections from the listeners of personal development mastery, these conversations have reminded me why I do this, not just To share insights, to share actionable wisdom, but to build connection, to be part of your journey, and to offer space for meaningful conversations. If you are listening now and you've ever thought about reaching out, I'd love to hear from you, whether it is to share your story, your challenge, to ask about mentoring, or just to say hello, it would mean the world to me. Closing off this episode today to Laura, Karen TR and Harris, thank you and to every listener you are listening right now. So thank you for being here, for showing up to your own growth and for letting me be a part of it until next time stand out don't fit in.
