So every day this week, I have been helping women make forward progress in their clutter inside my Spring Clutter Fresh Start. The transformations that I know these women are experiencing in their homes and in their lives have been extraordinary, but I also know what usually happens after something like this.

Maybe you've been joining us in our Spring Clutter Fresh Start, or maybe you've just been following along in these episodes this week where I've been sharing a little bit about the work we've been doing there. This is probably how it's going to look for you even if you’ve just been following along here.

You show up for a few days.
You start thinking a little differently.
You might even make some real progress.

And for a moment… it feels like something is shifting.

Like maybe this time could be different.

But then life keeps going.

It always does.

So what do we do?

Let’s talk about it.

All right, so we have a week long event like this and I hold them all the time. Sometimes they're about clutter. A lot of times they're about clutter, but we'll do them about other things too. I've done week long challenges. I've done week long sprints. And what happens is, is it's such an amazing experience while you are in it. There's this excitement, there's this buzz and there's this repeated progress that's made every day and the momentum has shifted.

But then what always happens is things like your schedule. It fills back up and your energy drops a little. Other things start needing your attention again, maybe things that you've set aside so you could focus on the time spent every day. And slowly, not all at once, but slowly the progress and the momentum and the excitement and the energy that you have now on day five, it starts to fade. And this is the part that I don't think we talk about enough because it's not that

You didn't care about all of that progress. It's not that you didn't care about what you were learning. And it's not that you didn't try or make progress. Again, you did. It's that there was nothing there to actually keep your progress in place, almost like a placeholder. And that's exactly what day five is all about in the spring clutter fresh start. It's why it matters so much. Because today isn't about doing more.

And it's not about finishing everything or catching up on what you didn't get done yet. It's about making sure that you don't lose what you started. And I think this is where so many women get tripped up because the assumption is that I just need to stay more consistent or I just need to keep going or I just need to do better this time. But if you're being honest, you've said those things before and they haven't worked in your real life in the midst of everything else.

And again, it's not because you're doing anything wrong, but because your life doesn't slow down just because you're trying to get things together, just because you're trying to focus on making some movement with the clutter. And so instead of needing more time or more motivation or a better plan, what you actually need is a way to keep going when your life is still your life. And that's what we're focusing on today in day five. We're talking about what it actually looks like to keep going on busy days. How to...

come back and pick it back up again after you've had a few full days or maybe a few full weeks or messy weeks when you haven't touched it and how to continue without feeling like you're starting all over again every time life gets in the way because that is just so exhausting. Because if you leave this week thinking that the goal is to stay on track and just to stick with it, you're going to end up right back in the same cycle.

trying to be consistent, trying to do it right, trying to keep up, and then feeling like you fell off when that doesn't happen. But that's not the real problem. The real problem is not having any way to start again, any way to pick it back up, any way to just keep going, no matter how long the pause has been. And once you have that, once you have essentially a re-entry plan, once you know how to at least stay connected,

with what you're working on, even in small ways, and then how to reenter without starting over, everything starts to feel different. You're not relying on perfect days anymore. You're not waiting for more time or more energy or more perfect conditions in some way. You're working with your real life instead of constantly feeling like you're fighting against it. So if you've been following along this week, or even if you've just been listening and thinking about it,

Today is the day where this can either become something that continues or something that you once did and learned some really cool stuff about. And I don't want that second part for you because if you're with us, if you've been working alongside of us, what you've started this week, it really does matter. And it doesn't need to be perfect to continue. You just need that placeholder.

And so inside day five of the Spring Clutter Fresh Start, I'm going to walk you through exactly what that placeholder looks like. It's simple, it's realistic, and there's no pressure to do this in the most perfect way. We're just talking about a way to keep going without starting over. And if you haven't joined yet, you can still get access to everything, all five days, all the replays, all of the steps that we've been working through together, all of the workbooks and cheat sheets.

And you don't in any way have to have been there live in order to get the same benefit. You can start wherever you are, at whatever point in time you are. Everything you need to join us and find out more is down in the notes. So come join us. It's day five. This is the day where the rubber really meets the road, because it's how you learn to work on something that can feel so draining like clutter.

in the midst of a very busy or just emotionally heavy or mentally draining life. So, I'll see you there.
