About this episode: In this episode, Dr. Bill Harris and Kelly Patterson talk to Dr. Simon Dyall, who received his BS in biochemistry from the University of Sussex and his PhD in neuroscience from Queen Mary University of London, where his research focused on neuroprotective roles of Omega-3 fatty acids. Dr. Dyall currently leads the Master of Science Clinical Neuroscience program at the University of Roehampton in Great Britain. His research sits at the interface of neuroscience, nutrition, neurobiology, and psychology, also known as nutritional neuroscience. Some of his current projects include exploring the role of polyunsaturated fatty acids and lipid mediators in perinatal health, and a neuroimaging study investigating the therapeutic effects of a high omega-3 fatty acid multi-nutrient supplement on stress and anxiety in young adults.
