Food guilt… It has the potential to ruin your day, send you spiraling into a horrible mood, and even make you feel as though you have to “compensate” for what you’ve just eaten later on.
In this episode, we talk about the issue of food guilt. We explain what food guilt means, our personal experiences with this issue, and these feelings of guilt and shame can negatively affect our relationship with food. Overall … leading to poor relationships with food, yourself and people.
We share with you WHY we eat how we eat NOW, and what we have learned over the years to get us to where we are today with a less intense version of food guilt. Taking you through 4 “big picture” strategies to combat food guilt, as well as what to do in the moment when the guilt comes on full force.
