Same-Sex Attracted and a Christian. Now What?
Welcome to Same-Sex Attracted and a Christian. Now what? My name is Dennis Belkofer. The title is my autobiography in a nutshell, because I know what it's like to be same-sex attracted and a Christian, and ask, "How do I align it with God's moral laws and creation ordinances of gender, sexuality, and marriage?" And it's the same "now what" asked by countless Christians, not only those who are same-sex attracted. I've recorded this podcast to share my conversion and how I was taught to biblically deal with the sinful desires that attracted me to a man, after years of confusion and struggling to find the answer. What I was taught applies to all Christians, because "all" Christians are baited by sinful desires (Galatians 5:17). I pray that this podcast will be a blessing to others, and above all, glorify the Lord Jesus Christ. From my heart to yours, Dennis.

You are Born Again and this Podcast is Leading You to Stop Identifying Yourself as a Gay Chistian. Or you are an Evangelical Pastor and You No Longer use Gay Christian with Your Church. Now What? Romans 8 Holds the Answer
This episode takes you through Romans 8, a chapter that, perhaps more than any other in the New Testament, unpacks the identity of a born-again believer in Christ: who they were before being born again and who they are now. If you are born agai...
You are Born Again. You Struggle with Same-Sex Attraction and with Walking in Obedience. You've Prayed to be Made Obedient and for More Grace - and Nothing Happened. This Episode Looks at Why - and it's for "ALL " Born-Again Believers.
This episode is taken from "How I Learned to Deal with Same-Sex Attraction Biblically and all Desires of the Flesh" - a series. I explain that after years of struggling with same-sex attraction and praying to be made obedient, like a dog chasin...
Do You Know that Hebrew has two Words for Fear? Knowing the Difference is Foundational to Biblically Dealing with Same-Sex Attraction and all Desires of the Flesh; so is Hebrews 10:14.
This episode is like icing on the cake for the episodes that I previously recorded about growing in the knowledge of God's attributes and what it means to fear Him. One of the Hebrew words for fear means to "run towards." The other, to "run awa...
The Previous Two Episodes Presented the War Between the Flesh and the Spirit, and God Disciplines His Children as Proofs of Being Born Again. In this Episode, I Add a Heart that Cries Abba: Daddy, "The" Father.
Galatians 5:17: the war within born-again believers in Jesus proves that someone is born again. Hebrews 12:8: God discipling His children is another proof. This is how it reads in the Amplified Bible: "Now if you are exempt from correctio...
Follow up to the Previous Episode: You Identify Yourself as a Gay Christian, Because You've Invited Jesus into Your Heart (the Sinner's Prayer) - but are You Born Again (what it Means to be a Christian)? How can You Know for Sure?
In this episode, I share several verses that prove we are born again. I also unpack 1 Thessalonians 4:1-8 and how it applies to a born-again believer who identifies as a gay Christian - and the seriousness of it before Jesus. This may be the mo...
You Identify Yourself as a Gay Christian, Because You've Invited Jesus into Your Heart (the Sinner's Prayer) - but are You Born Again (what it Means to be a Christian)? How can You Know for Sure?
Far too often, praying the Sinner's Prayer to ask Jesus into one's life is thought of as the agent in becoming a Christian: to be born again. This is a condensed version: "Dear God, I confess that I am a sinner. I believe that Jesus died ...
A Sluggish Highchair Christian and Proverbs 2:1-5: Verses that Come with Amazing Promises when we Step out of our Spiritual Highchair
I recorded an earlier episode about being a highchair Christian: never learning to feed ourselves from God's Word - and shabbily short on private prayer and worship (Check it out: "The Joy of Being a Closet Christian.") In this episode, I've ad...
Hebrews 4:15 Tells us Jesus was Tempted in All Things as We Are. Does that Mean "Every" Temptation Common to Man?
For decades, I thought that, yes, Jesus was tempted by every temptation that is common to man (1 Corinthians 10:13). I now realize that would have meant just that: every temptation, such as Jesus being sexually attracted to a man, wanting to co...
I Repent and Apologize for Omitting Strategic Verses in the Episode: Have You Heard that Jesus Said Nothing (Condemning) About Homosexuality? Is that Blaspheming His Divinity?
In this episode, I provide the verses that I omitted. They speak for themselves: Jesus didn't say anything directly about homosexuality. He provided the truth that condemns it. But it doesn't mean that He did not die for the sin of homosexualit...
Compassion that Coddles, Deceives, and Imprisons...Compassion that Convicts is Grounded in Spiritual Truth and Transforms...Do You Know the Difference?
This episode has the potential to open the door of a prison that masquerades as grace and is a lie. You may be in that prison, unaware of it. And I ask: Of the two kinds of compassion, which one describes your church and you? This episod...

A Call to Prodigals to Come Home: "Do Not Fear You are Mine" (Isaiah 43:1); "I Will Not Forget You...I Have Inscribed You on the Palms of My Hands" (Isaiah 49:15-16)
This is the second time I've recorded this episode. I deleted the original because I was a prodigal called home, and I want to do my best in being used by the Lord to call prodigals home from their distant countries (Luke 15:13) - and I wasn't ...
Have You Heard that Jesus Said Nothing (Condemning) About Homosexuality in the Gospels? Is that Blaspheming His Divinity?
I usually provide a text that introduces the episode. I've decided to let the title speak for itself. Up front: This episode falls short of what has become the 11th Commandment: "Thou Shalt Nice." But "nice" can also be a door-opener to hell. T...
If Your Relationship with Your Parents Needs Healing, How God Healed My Relationship with My Father May Encourage You
In past episodes, I've shared how God healed my relationship with my father - even like Jonah, "kicking and screaming." And I am aware that many, even most, of the men and women who tune into my podcast and are same-sex attracted have painful r...
Are You Jealous About Spending Time Alone with God? Or is it Just a Checklist on Your Daily to-do List, Sometimes an Inconvenience?
I am going to let the title of this episode speak for itself as you listen. Is it the road Jesus said few find, meaning Christians and not only non-Christians? And I ask, please go to YouTube and select "The Secret Walk with God that Few will e...
As David Confessed His Sins of Adultery and Murder, He Said, "Wipe Out My Guilty Deeds?" (Psalm 51:9) Why Not "Just My Sins"?
This episode is a continuation and a deeper dive into the episode "What does Isaiah 53:10, Jesus Rendering Himself as a Guilt Offering Mean for You if You are Born Again"? (In that episode, I mistakenly l quoted Isaiah 53:7; it should...
If Your Heart Cries Abba Father (Poppa: Romans 8:15:16) - it's Proof You've Been Executed, Resurrected, and Adopted: Born Again
In this episode, I take you on a journey through Scripture that explains what it means to be executed, resurrected, and adopted, and that a heart that cries, "Abba," proves it. If that is not the cry of your heart, I explain why that is -...
A Call to Christians Identifying as a Gay Christian and with LGBTQ+: Come out of Babylon (Rev. 18:4)
This episode will motivate you to repent or fill you with anger against me, so please let the episode speak for itself: in other words, the ball is in your corner. But remember this: I've lived through everything that you will hear. From my hea...
Jesus, in John 5:39-40, Confronted the Pharisees for Thinking Eternal Life was Searching Scripture, but they Refused to Come to Him. Does that Apply to You and Me?
In this episode, I share how the Holy Spirit opened my eyes to the fact that I was filling my mind with Scripture, a good and necessary thing (John 17:17), and at the same time falling short of what Jesus said in John 17:3 is eternal life: now!...
What Does Isaiah 53: 10, Jesus Rendered Himself a Guilt Offering Mean for You if You are Born Again (John 3:3)?
On Sunday morning, May 31, 2026, I was reading Psalm 34:22 to prepare myself for the worship service at my home church, Chicago's Park Community Church South Loop, Pastor Raef Chenery (Check out his sermons on YouTube; just enter the name of th...
Why Would an Evangelical Pastor Identify a Parishioner Attracted to the Same Sex a Gay Christian?
Regarding the question in the title of this podcast, I believe there are many reasons, which I discuss in this episode. At the top of the list is the lack of an in-depth understanding of sanctification in a born-again believer's life, and in th...
Speaking to Christians who Identify as Gay Christians: Is the Rainbow Flag Your Banner or the Cross of Jesus Christ?
In this episode, I make it clear that if you are trying to play both ends against the middle by identifying with the rainbow flag and the cross, because you identify yourself as a gay Christian, you are sinning. Why? They are more than mutually...
Israel as a Nation Hosted a Gay Celebration, 6/1 through 6/4 Near the Site of Sodom and Gomorrah
I am writing this on June 6, 2026. I woke up around 3 am, signed in on YouTube, and a video popped up: "There is No Way- Israel to Host Pride City near Sodom and Gomorrah 2026." Were Sodom and Gomorrah real places that God destroyed with fire a...
