Speaker 2:Yeah, we also would like to talk a little bit about a few things that we got coming up. Dude, we got some, we got some, uh, some things cooking. Yeah, a lot of things, good things cooking I almost said buns in the oven, but that sounds like we got pregnant wives buns in the oven?
Speaker 1:yes, that too. Uh, yeah, I've been, I've been thinking, planning building a new um kind of brand management agency with athletes and in this um sports athlete space, I think in the hybrid, probably the hybrid style of working out, there's a lot of influencers and creators that really lack a lot of brand, uh recognition and opportunities.
Speaker 2:I think that they're crushing it in their space, but they don't necessarily know how to get connected to the brands that want them to to be a part of this.
Speaker 1:So I kind of found this niche and started to fill it and I think it's started to take off. So more to come on that.
Speaker 2:But yeah, super exciting stuff. What I love about Mitch entrepreneur all the way through his veins.
Speaker 1:With the entrepreneur title. I also want successful entrepreneur on the other side. Well, that's coming title.
Speaker 2:I also want successful entrepreneur on the other side. Well, that's coming. The other thing is a really cool partnership coming up with a peptide company. This is really cool. This is exciting stuff. I can't talk about that quite yet. It's in the works for about a month away, but excited to talk about that. Hey, on the podcast today. What are we talking about? Mitch?
Speaker 1:What are we talking about? Yeah, what are we talking about today? Our premium memberships, oh crap, let's talk about that. Exclusive membership that goes along with this podcast. It'll be in the show notes.

Uh, there's nine bucks. Uh, we're going to start uh creating some, uh exclusive premium content in this next month for those, uh those, subscribers.
Speaker 1:So check it out thanks so much for uh supporting us this way. It helps with a lot of different things, but also building community and that's what this is all about well on today's show. Yeah, we're going to talk a little bit about some college football preview. This week is week one college football we are back baby and we'll get to talk about every week, get to talk about what's going on in college football on our favorite teams yeah, there's only one.
Speaker 2:There's. Oh, there's one each. Yeah, we each have our teams, right, uh, so we got that I mean taylor and travis travis and taylor. I mean, I think it's safe to say they're actually in a real relationship now. Yeah, and this spans not just the teenagers, not just the 20-somethings, the Riley's. This goes all the way into like people of their 50s, 60s and beyond.
Speaker 1:Like this is a monumental thing. I was trying to think of who bigger has gotten engaged.
Speaker 2:Princess Di, maybe Did she get engaged.
Speaker 1:Princess Di.
Speaker 2:Maybe Did she get engaged, I guess she did. I mean to Prince William, what's his name? Yeah, prince William, anyway, no, prince Charles, charles. Yeah, william and Kate.
Speaker 1:I don't think we should also probably say where we're filming. Oh yeah, hey, big shout out.
Speaker 2:We're at Los Combianos in Dripping Springs, like out there on 290. You've got to rough the traffic getting through all the construction but it's worth it when you get here.
Speaker 1:Man, we love this place. This is where we work out exclusively and they let us record here. So if you hear any dumbbells dropping, that's just a part of the scene here.
Speaker 2:There's grunting in the background.
Speaker 1:It's me and the person working out yes, lots of grunting.
Speaker 2:It's me and the person working out yes, lots of grunting. It's a lot of grunting. Yeah, a lot of grunting.
Speaker 1:I find that the more you grunt, the stronger you are. So I grunt very, very loud.
Speaker 2:That's generally the rule.
Speaker 1:A lot of slamming of weights. Anyway, we also would like to talk. I want to talk a little bit about working out now, probably five, sometimes six days a week running included. I've just been dragging, I've been sore, and so Bart's going to walk me through a little bit of recovery that goes along with that. And then also, bart has some big news. I think he might be getting a new whip, as the kids call it A new whip?
Speaker 2:Yeah, I like it. So what's this whole process look like for you? We'll get to that towards the end. Okay, all right. All right, let's jump right in who are we backing?
Speaker 1:oh, 100 of the way, have you put money on it yet? No, I haven't. You know what I did when I was in vegas, uh, with my buddy in july was for my wife. As a gift, I put 20 bucks on the packers to win the super bowl okay so that she's a packers fan. She's a big packers fan, oh nice which will be going to a game uh in november at lambo.
Speaker 2:So it'll be great, I'll be able to a game in November at Lambeau.
Speaker 1:So it'll be great I'll be able to talk about that. So yeah, oregon Ducks, how about you?
Speaker 2:Well, you know I'm UT now.
Speaker 1:I got my season tickets. I'm ready to go.
Speaker 2:Season ticket holder over here you know I mean I admit I am a Fairweather fan. I was not a UT fan until I moved to Austin and it took several years before I even knew that football games were a lot of fun. No, I knew. I mean, I always knew it was going on, I just didn't. I didn't take the time to go to games.
Speaker 1:Yeah.
Speaker 2:So I've gotten really invested now.
Speaker 1:I love it, which is awesome. This is the time to be invested, man. This is the time.
Speaker 2:And you know big game this Saturday Ohio State UT in Ohio. State who, ohio State's third.
Speaker 1:Oh no, they're ranked number one, baby.
Speaker 2:No, Ohio State's third. Okay, hold on One second Unless the news media has already lost faith in Arch Manning and they've bumped him down.
Speaker 1:Well, Texas is number two.
Speaker 2:Wow, okay, so that just changed. That's amazing to me. But anyway, I'm picking Texas to win this. I think Arch's got a lot to prove. He's going to show up, he's going to whoop a little butt and I think uh ohio state. They've been known to lose some big games in the early part of the season, and this is one of those.
Speaker 1:So there you go. I think I think you're right about that. I think um the cool thing about this is I hate ohio state so much oh yeah that, anybody that they are playing against I've root for, and I love, I love arch manning. I think he's the real deal yeah like everybody does. I think he's he could go number one. He could have gone number one last year, strapped before he even played a snap over yours. Yeah, exactly so uh, so yeah, texas is number one. You were right, my bad uh ohio state is number three yeah
Speaker 2:very good yeah, and Oregon is in seventh, which doesn't make any sense. To me, it's just, they just need them.
Speaker 1:They need somewhere to go you want to be a bit of an underdog.
Speaker 2:You don't want to be okay, so uh, here's my thing. You know, big game, archman he's kind of like coming out. He's got a whole new front, like starting, like the line, the front, the offensive line is new, so it's like there's a lot of cohesion that has to happen in training camp and up to like.
Speaker 2:So there's a lot of question marks there. So like that that'll be. I think the uh determining factor is if arch and his front line can like figure it out quickly versus the ohio ohio state defense, and then of course, whatever mistakes are made on the offense the deep UT's defense has to kind of make up for yeah, uh, for for anything which they will, they're still a powerhouse.
Speaker 1:Yeah, yeah, I mean. And, on the contrary, ohio State, really the they had so many people going to the draft, including their, their quarterback, who was wasn't the best quarterback, but at least he was a consistent one yeah so they're. They're seeing a whole new group of people coming in too, so I mean I could see it go either way, but I definitely think.
Speaker 2:And two of the best coaches in the game.
Speaker 1:Who's Ohio State's coach? Oh, that Ryan Day guy. Yeah, Ryan Day. Oh yeah, he definitely dyes his beard.
Speaker 2:Oh yeah, he's got a very very flavored beard.
Speaker 1:It's a flavor, very flavored beard. It's got a very flavor dark beard for some reason can I shout out ohio state? Because we use the ohio state buckeyes strength no, I call it nebraska.
Speaker 2:No, no, ohio state buckeyes strength pyramid when we do bench and squat and all that. So shout out to their strength program.
Speaker 1:It clearly works the only negative is now I'm getting in the weight class of the ohio state. Doesn't I, can't? They don't have 500 pounds.
Speaker 2:Oh, then that's hard. How do you do it, man? So you have to make your own pyramid, yeah, so now I use Mitch's pyramid. Yeah, the Mitch pyramid scheme.
Speaker 1:So, yeah, it's going to be a great week of football. Wyoming is playing Oregon, so it'll be a should be a. Should be a blowout win, which will be great. I think they're favored by 28, so I go the over on that. I really do think it'll be a close game with Texas, but I think they'll win by a field goal.
Speaker 2:Good, All right. You heard it here first people.
Speaker 1:Go, put your money on it.
Speaker 2:I got UT, I think, my, I think plus five.
Speaker 1:I'm going to go UT plus five on Ohio State Safety and a field goal. Got it, got it, cool. Well, on the other side of the map, we got a pop star and a NFL football star getting engaged.
Speaker 2:Finally, by the way, shout out, you know that him and his brother's podcast is like number two of downloads, weekly downloads. Yeah, because whenlor was on there.
Speaker 1:They got downloaded like 66 million times, oh really yeah the taylor bump.
Speaker 2:Yeah, taylor bump is what they call it.
Speaker 1:Yeah, I mean, there was also 1.3 million people watching it live oh wow, when the taylor swift okay, so they got they, that's.
Speaker 2:That's a bit of a uh, albatross, yes, yes but they are still very popular we're right behind them. Somewhere we're in the top, maybe not the top 10, maybe just outside of the top 10 all right, so go ahead, continue with. I just, I just know that they got engaged.
Speaker 1:I don't know anything else, so yeah, I mean they say they're saying that they got engaged like two weeks ago and they just now made it public, so that's kind of cool I like that, but think about their children. You know they are set for life. These people, I just can't imagine it.
Speaker 2:Weren't they already set up for life? How?
Speaker 1:about Jason Kelsey at their wedding. Is he going to take his shirt off? I don't know, probably.
Speaker 2:He should. That would be amazing. I mean, shouldn't the grooms all have their shirts off?
Speaker 1:Here's what I'm planning on doing. It's getting in the next year and a half, two years yeah, totally I can do it.
Speaker 2:I think I can. You could do it if anyone could do it. Mitch, I can't monetize it, I will definitely do it.
Speaker 1:I will definitely do it, but yep, that's a big one all right, let's jump into our next topic what's our next topic? It's recovery brother well, I've been struggling. Yeah, I mean, this is a.
Speaker 2:This is a. This is a natural response to like. So there's various levels of like, commitment to fitness.
Speaker 1:Yeah.
Speaker 2:There's like I'm trying to work out more. I know I need to get in shape, I want to get stronger, like that's entry level Right. And then you kind of get into like two or three days a week, but you're inconsistent. You go several days off and kind of get, and then there's like at some point you just like love it.
Speaker 1:And then you's like at some point, you just like love it.
Speaker 2:And then you're like I got a place, I want to go. You know, you got your home here at los cambianos, you got, you got your routine, all that stuff, and then it becomes hard not to come here yeah and I, I was there, I was there for a while and I like, and I I actively forced myself to take days off and I think a good rule of thumb if you're 40 to 45, good rule of thumb is three days on one day off, three days on two days off.
Speaker 1:Okay.
Speaker 2:So do like a three, one, three, two split so that gives you like every like eight, seven days, eight days you're kind of giving yourself a full 48 hours of just rest the body, rest the nervous system.
Speaker 2:Because I think what happens when we do a lot of like the three on one off, like three on one off, is it just we never really get enough recovery so we're kind of always a little bit like it's like filling your battery to 80, but then you drive it a little bit too far, like you know it's like you know you fill it to 70 and you fill it to 65 and at some point a week into it you're like you're at a half tank. You know you got you fill it to 65. And at some point a week into it you're like you're at a half tank. You know you got to fill it all the way back up to a hundred percent, right? So yeah.
Speaker 2:Yeah, so I just think, three on one off, three on two off.
Speaker 1:Yeah.
Speaker 2:And that's a good rhythm. I say fit 46 to 50. I would say more, like you know, like two, two off got it maybe three on, two off, like something in that, where your your rest to rest to work ratio is closer to like a three to two versus like a three to one.
Speaker 1:Well, what I've noticed, too, is I finally kind of hit the mark where I'm at the weight I'm gonna hit yeah so now I'm trying to, because I was getting sex edge setch exponential gains.
Speaker 2:I heard sex, ed that too.
Speaker 1:I was getting such exponential gains yeah, because I was getting consistently back into it now.
Speaker 2:I'm kind of there. You're starting to get like real. You've, you've, you've kind of caught that wave of like just I'm working out more. I'm stronger every time.
Speaker 1:Yeah, this is my number now I and not even plateauing in the sense, but getting to failure yeah, now, like you're chipping away, like seeing failure at certain weights and, honestly, like I did deadlifts here and I was doing 500 three times and uh, it's just exhausting. I was just tired, tired.
Speaker 1:You know, my body's just achy and you know it's just get to the point where you're exerted, so taking a couple of days off will probably be good for me. Uh, I can't. Yet my buddy jesse's coming into town. He wants to lift, so all right, a couple. I got a couple days that I gotta lift with him.
Speaker 2:Yeah I get to lift with him. So there's a guy here at los campeones name. He calls himself wolf because his last name is wolf yeah and I asked him what, what his split is. He's real big guy, super strong, and he's. He says four days a week he does like a squat focus day, deadlift focus day, bench focus day and then like a standing shoulder press focus day.
Speaker 2:So it's like still upper body it's like two lower body, yeah, two lower body, two upper body, but one of them's more of like a bench press focus, yeah, and then one's more of like standing shoulder press focus, and and then he's so he's. He's like four, four, three, so his ratio is like four to three and I think that's probably if you're really going heavy, you know you may need that extra day in the week.
Speaker 1:Yeah.
Speaker 2:Cause you. If you're at five or six days a week working out, there's just not a lot of time for your body to really recover.
Speaker 1:Yeah, and then I help someone move, so that was a thing and use your day off to do that and that.
Speaker 2:Then you didn't have a day off never. Yeah, it's never good but I appreciate that.
Speaker 2:Yeah, I can do that I think that's probably the adjustment I need the other thing to think about is like and I see this all the time and I always share it and I say bullshit, or like and not true. But like they list all the ways to recover and it's like cold plunges on and like things and not to hate on cold. Those are great, but priority for recovery is eating protein, eating healthy. Yeah, sleeping a lot, getting good quality sleep and like really resting did you post something about this?
Speaker 2:yeah, and then the rest of them are just like cool to do, but you know, like rub cbd on your elbow okay, great like it might help. It's like all those other ones, including sauna and cold plunge, like get you an extra percent here or there, but like sleeping eight hours a night or like and like getting adequate rest yeah whether that's seven, eight, nine, whatever your body needs is like 50 percent.
Speaker 2:Yeah, so like we all will. There are people out there who'll wake up at 4 am and go cold plunge before they start their day to get one percent benefit, when they could have slept till 5 30 and gotten 40 more percent benefit.
Speaker 2:You know what I mean. Like we have to kind of do the math that way and so I think it's good to do those. Like you know, red light therapy, you know, get a membership at a, at a recovery restore, hyper wellness is really cool. They've got the. You know the leg compression, all that stuff is great. Iv drip fantastic, but for true recovery, sleep, food and then I would honestly say like, if you're in your 40s and 50s and like peptides are actually like a big, like the bpc, 157 cjc, you know, you know those, those types of things are are actually like metabolically helping you recover that's cool, so well, I'm glad there's things like that that can help me, especially as I get older and my shoulder continues to fail because it is getting worse and worse and worse oh, it's bad, didn't uh, so it didn't hurt on the shoulder press no, because I warmed up properly
Speaker 1:okay, ah, there you go the rest of the, but the rest of the day it'll ache okay and then, like I can't rotate it a certain way. It's really weird, it's it's not even my bad shoulder, it's just become that after the power lifting.
Speaker 2:Show right that, okay problem so you might want to look at just some some flexibility, mobility that you continue to do kind of like different times, like chest stretch, lat stretch, rotator cuff stretch band, a little bit of band work just to help the shoulder like stay mobile and not get tight and locked up, because usually, like, if you do a bunch of upper body work, like pressing, it doesn't hurt in the moment but like later on it hurts, is because you just put such a strain on the muscles. You didn't injure them but you fatigued them so much that then they kind of get annoyed.
Speaker 1:I don't think I've ever known you in the 12 years I've known you.
Speaker 2:I don't think I've ever seen you injured. Look, I always have. Remember the audience that listened to Chris Dickerson's episode. You can either not work out and have no injuries or or work out and have little injuries, kind of like here and there all the time. I am exactly that guy. I work out, I have little bugaboos. You know, during the powerlifting show I like had this rib thing that like I couldn't figure out what the hell I did. I mean, I know what, how it happened, but I didn't know why, or like I couldn't fix it, but it didn't bother me when I did the big lifts, yeah. So it was like a month of that. And then I finally found a stretch, that kind of like, pulled at the right spot and loosened it up and all of a sudden it was gone so weird.
Speaker 2:It was like I just needed to twist my hip and my back just the right angle and it was like ah, but those. That's the work of the like athlete, you know the lifestyle athlete who wants to not quit every time. Oh, I can't run, my knee hurts, I got you know. There's certain things like fasciitis minor fasciitis, tendinitis of the knee or elbow.
Speaker 2:Those things flare up. You have to stop moving that in ways that make create pain. Things flare up. You have to stop moving that in ways that make create pain. Yeah, but most other things warming up, doing a little cardio, get on the bike for five minutes a lot of that stuff just takes care of it yeah, you know, activating glutes, activating inner thighs sometimes it's just those things can just fix it so that you can get the work done and not feel the pain during the work cool.
Speaker 1:I like that.
Speaker 2:Well, I appreciate, yeah, and if you're out there listening and this stuff resonates with you, hey, send us a. Send us an email. Let me know what, what of that stuff that I'm, that we're talking about today, really resonated or that you're utilizing or understanding for your program. We'd love to hear some feedback so that we can share it with people that are uh, that are listening to.
Speaker 1:Absolutely. I love it, so I've been waiting to hear about this. Oh my God, Tell me.
Speaker 2:All right. So a couple weeks ago, my wife and I laid down to watch the Tosh show, and if you don't know what the Tosh show is, it is a podcast.
Speaker 1:She watches it with you. What's that? Oh, she loves Daniel Tosh. Oh, that's cool.
Speaker 2:Yeah, we've seen him in concert and stand-up, and you know we used to watch the Tosh.0. Anyway. So we're watching the Tosh show and he interviews the CEO of Rivian. Rivian Electric Car Company out of Normal Chicago or Normal Illinois, okay, illinois, anyway. So he's telling his story, blah, blah, blah, lo and behold, daniel Tosh has his own Rivian model, first generation, and his wife has the second generation Rivian SUV. They love it, and so it's a great interview. It's very interesting. Ceo is brilliant. Thanks, rj.
Speaker 1:Shout out.
Speaker 2:And it just starts clicking Because I have an SUV. I have a 4Runner. I hate that my gas mileage sucks.
Speaker 1:What's your gas mileage?
Speaker 2:I mean with the lift and the all-terrain tires, it looks bad. But it probably gets 13 or 14, versus like what it says it should get, which is like 16 to 20. Probably gets like 14 to 16. Anyway, but it's coming up on 108,000 miles, blah, blah, blah. But 4Runner's resale is really good, so I'm like I'm just going to go, let's go test drive a Rivian.
Speaker 1:Who knows?
Speaker 2:We go over to the test drive a Rivian. My wife, my son and I get in the car. We go on this test drive.
Speaker 1:It's luxury and it's amazing in every way.
Speaker 2:I mean all the technology, plus the drive, plus the you know it's. It's a big battery, you know there's no gas, it's super safe. The range on it, uh, up to 400 miles. It depends on how big the battery. I got like a 300 mile battery you charge on a tesla thing too.
Speaker 2:Yes, yeah, yeah so there's a lot of. I'm not gonna go into all the details, but anyway it just. It got my head spinning and I'm like I wonder if I could figure this out where I'm not paying a thousand dollars a month for a lease. There's all these lease credits right now and like rebates and benefits to leasing a new Rivian. So I started just doing a lot of digging.
Speaker 2:I started watching a lot of YouTube videos because they have a referral program. So if you use someone's referral code when you sign up, you get $500 in, like gear bucks, and they get money towards their account. And so so I'm just watching, all I'm just deep diving into like is Rivian good? I'm trying to talk to people who have them. What do you think, what's wrong with them, what do you? And just over and over, and so two weeks of that and convincing my wife like this could actually be a good idea, Anyway.
Speaker 1:So how much money we're going to save on gas. Yeah, all that.
Speaker 2:So yesterday I put a deposit down for a new Rivian.
Speaker 1:SUV, not a truck.
Speaker 2:SUV. Did not get a truck, got the SUV. It's two weeks away, it's still in Illinois, so they still got to ship it to me. Will they ship it to your door? No, I go pick it up. There's a, there's a service center in austin, like north austin, yeah, so I'll pick it up there, uh, but anyway. So now I'm working on like selling my, my vehicle and just all the little ins and outs getting the ev like plug in my garage oh, yeah, there's a lot of stuff, dude.
Speaker 1:Yeah, there's a lot of a whole new lifestyle. I know I'm so excited, dude're you. The more and more I talk to you, the more I realize just how funny you are about certain things. Like I didn't know you were a fan of Rivian and then you started talking about it. I was like, dude, this guy is gay for Rivian.
Speaker 2:I'm straight up yes, yes.
Speaker 1:And I'm happy for you. I'm glad I'm excited. Yeah, I can't wait to drive in it. Yeah, and I can't wait to borrow it. Uh, I can't wait to drive in it. Yeah, and I can't wait to borrow it. And I can't wait to uh wreck it when I borrow it. Yeah, there's a lot of things. There's zero chance you're ever going to drive that thing, that's awesome. Here one feature I want you to okay so let's say so.
Speaker 2:The rivian it's really supposed to be like an adventure vehicle right so one of the things that they've added to all rivians is you'll go, let's say you go to a campground, yeah, and you park on the hill a little bit of a hill, a little bit of a like a slope, right, not every ham is gonna be completely flat. You, there's a button in the rivian app that basically levels your rivian so that you can sleep in the back or on the tent or on the top in completely flat, and so if you're on sand at the beach, you drive onto the beach like, let's say, you go to south padre you drive onto the beach.
Speaker 2:You're gonna camp in the back because the back you could, I could sleep. Yeah, from the tailgate all the way to the top, the second row. You know, you just put the leveler get set like an rv, that's yeah it's insane it has so many of those like crazy, little like ideas that they just added and then every like six to eight weeks there's an update. So if like something in the performance of the thing is not quite exactly what it's all software updates oh dang and then you know you in my car.
Speaker 2:You had to like get a lift. Yeah, it's all. It lifts itself. You put it on like off the road mode, it goes. It lifts up four inches and then it goes down for sport mode it drops down even lower Like cause, so it can handle better.
Speaker 1:I mean, it's all just like super fast, super genius and then zero to 60, although I'll never try it About 3.4 seconds. Try it At least one, zero to 60.
Speaker 2:If I'm next to like a Ferrari.
Speaker 1:Yeah.
Speaker 2:Then I might, I might look over and be like dude. When I had, when I had the AMG Mercedes, I used to get challenged to races all the time. Yeah, and I would smoke everybody except this one, tesla plaid. Ah, he smoked me, bro. That's cool man. It's still, it's still in the works, nothing's, I don't have it yet, but yeah, I mean yeah, it's coming, that's cool.
Speaker 2:But it was cool to go through. You know, when you go to a dealership, it's a third party. They've already bought the vehicle from Toyota or wherever, chevy, whatever, and so they have negotiated because they bought it for a wholesale rate and they're going to use the trade-in, use the whatever to kind of get the deal that you need to hear With Rivian. You are buying it from Rivian. Like buying it from Rivian like this is what they offer. There is no negotiation like this is what they're giving you for trade-in. This is but you. But the only way to negotiate is really like figure out what the different rebates are. So if you get a better, bigger battery, more performance stuff, you get a higher rebate. But of course everything else is more expensive too. So it's all about figuring out like what do I really, really want in?
Speaker 1:my car.
Speaker 2:Like I wanted premium auto, I wanted 22-inch wheels. I didn't want all-terrain wheels this time, I just like, because I want the gas mileage.
Speaker 1:You wanted to drive smooth too. I wanted to drive smooth.
Speaker 2:So it's like you kind of figure those things out Color of the vehicle, Interior color, All that kind of stuff and then you just like find the one.
Speaker 1:What's the?
Speaker 2:interior uh, it's like a dark walnut, it's got wood and like like vegan leather. I love my favorite new term, vegan leather.
Speaker 1:What the hell is that? The color, or just, oh, it's not real. It's synthetic leather. It's, but they call it vegan leather. It's super hippy for the californians out there that really want to hear about vegan leather.
Speaker 2:Man, anyway, that's I will say no more until it arrives and I'll give you an update on what you do.
Speaker 1:A pod in the river driving around in the river. That sounds fun.
Speaker 2:All right man.
Speaker 1:That's cool. Well, thanks so much for working out with me today, and yeah, it's a good workout.
Speaker 2:We hit shoulders. We hit shoulders and arms today.
Speaker 1:Yeah. It's kind of a midweek like uh, you know, we just I did squats yesterday, so this was a good like mid mid range.
