Angela Harvey is a social worker, facilitator, speaker, author, and award-winning documentarian committed to advancing equity, healing, and liberation for Black LGBTQ+/SGL communities.
Known as a GROWTHologist, Angela empowers others by fostering spaces where people can heal, grow, and thrive authentically. She is the visionary director of the acclaimed documentary Black Rainbow Love and the author of Poetic Alchemy: Seven Intentions for Healing, GROWTH, and Transformation, a poetry-based self-help book that empowers readers to reclaim their narratives.
Angela’s work centers the resilience of queer and nonbinary people of colour, bridging art, activism, and emotional wellness to spark systemic change and personal transformation. She facilitates workshops, trainings, and retreats that cultivate community, resilience, and radical self-love.
