Love From the Inside Out: Honest Conversations for Women About Midlife, Menopause, Body Changes and Becoming Yourself Again
Love From the Inside Out is an honest, empowering podcast for women navigating midlife, menopause, body changes, anxiety, burnout, relationships, shifting identities and the question so many of us quietly ask: “Why don’t I feel like myself anymore?”
Hosted by Susan Kricun, storyteller, PR strategist, speaker and midlife woman navigating many of these same questions herself, the show offers honest solo episodes, meaningful conversations and relatable stories to help you feel seen, less alone and more connected to yourself again.
Whether you are struggling with menopause symptoms, body image, people-pleasing, boundaries, grief, marriage, friendship, self-doubt, or roles that no longer feel like they fit, these conversations explore the emotional side of midlife without making this season feel like something you simply have to survive.
With warmth, humor and grounded perspective, Susan helps you slow down, name what you are feeling, reconnect with your own voice and begin trusting yourself in this next chapter. The conversations are emotionally honest without always feeling heavy, reflective without being overly therapeutic and real without leaving you stuck in what feels hard.
Because midlife is not the end of who you were. It can be an invitation to question what no longer belongs to you, remember what makes you feel alive and become more fully yourself again.
New episodes every Thursday featuring honest conversations about midlife, menopause, body changes, self-trust, relationships, identity and coming back to yourself.

What We Keep: Family Keepsakes, Old Photos, Memory, and Legacy

I went into our storage unit looking for my mother’s mahjong set and a few things I wanted to give to my brother. Instead, I found old family photos, childhood keepsakes, handwritten notes, and pieces of my life I hadn’t seen in years.
What started as a search for one meaningful thing turned into a reflection on memory, grief, legacy, and the strange emotional weight of the things we keep.
In this episode, I talk about family keepsakes, old photos, finding pieces of my younger self in old boxes, keeping loved ones alive in memory, and the very human reality of what we’d love for someone to find one day… and what we really hope they don’t.
If you’ve ever opened an old box and been surprised by what came rushing back, this episode is for you.
In this episode:
- my mother’s mahjong set and why I wanted so badly to find it
- old family photos, keepsakes, and the memories they still hold
- grief, legacy, and keeping loved ones alive in memory
- finding pieces of my younger self in old boxes
- what we keep, what we leave behind, and what we hope no one finds
