039 - Going With the Flow as a Mum in Business

In this episode I talk about something that helps me so more productive and I know will help you to working with the natural rhythms of life as a woman, a mum and a business owner, rather than constantly fighting against them.
First, I talk about working with your menstrual cycle and how much this can influence energy, creativity and productivity. If you want to dive deeper into this, I reference episodes 13 and 16, where I share more about how I approach this in my life and work.
Next, we explore how many of us are naturally wired as either morning or night people. Understanding when your energy is naturally higher can help you structure your work in a way that feels far more sustainable.
I also talk about how business itself moves in seasons. There are times where you’re working hard, building and expanding, and other seasons where the focus is nurturing what you’ve already created and maintaining momentum.
And finally, we talk about kids, because they are always changing. Routines shift constantly, especially in the early years, and sometimes the best thing you can do is go with the flow and give yourself grace on the days that don’t go to plan.
This episode is a reminder that balance isn’t about doing everything perfectly, it’s about learning to work with the seasons of life you’re in.
