My sister openly and vulnerably shares her journey to motherhood through an unplanned pregnancy, being faced with the question of abortion after being raised Catholic, raising a child in an abusive home, and the challenges of teaching a daughter how to love herself after recovering from an eating disorder.
No matter where you are at in your life, in your relationship to your own mother, or daughter, or sister... no matter how you feel about any of these complex topics... may this episode be a reminder that we are all navigating life through layers and layers of unseen challenges... and ALL of your seasons, all of your feelings, all of your chapters (yes, even the traumatic ones) are beauty-full.
