Chris Logan Media Season 3 Episode 13

Send us a text

Have you ever wondered what your God-given talents truly are? Not just the obvious skills you might display, but the deeper, purpose-driven gifts meant to impact those around you?

The journey to discovering your divine calling isn't always straightforward. Many of us grow up believing our talents lie in one area, only to find God steering us toward something entirely different. Whether you're confidently walking in your purpose or still searching for clarity, this heartfelt conversation explores how to recognize, develop, and deploy the unique gifts God has placed within you.

We share our personal stories of talent redirection – from singing aspirations that evolved into teaching callings, and business degrees that transformed into community leadership opportunities. These winding paths reveal an important truth: your talents often grow with obedience and trust, sometimes starting as a small seed that flourishes as you step out in faith.

What makes this exploration of gifts so powerful is the understanding that your talents aren't just about personal fulfillment. As one beautiful quote reminds us: "Your talent is God's gift to you. What you do with it is your gift back to Him." When we approach our abilities with this servant-hearted perspective, we discover true purpose and joy.

Don't miss this encouraging conversation about navigating God's calling on your life. Whether your gifts manifest through grand gestures or simple daily acts of service, you were created with intention and purpose. Join us as we discuss how to recognize divine direction, overcome the fear of inadequacy, and embrace the truth that "God doesn't call the qualified; He qualifies the called."

Speaker 1:

Welcome everyone to Coffee Talk with the Cajun Mamas. Today's episode is going to be a good one.

Speaker 2:

Oh, yes, an inspirational one. Yes, I like these. I do too. They make me feel happy, and then also it makes me feel like it's probably something that I need for myself too.

Speaker 1:

Oh yeah, we talk to ourselves a lot when we're talking about things, like you know, we're preaching to the choir type stuff a lot, right.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, I in no way think I'm a preacher whenever I talk about these things. But man it helps my soul to talk to my friend about stuff like this, so we hope you're in for it.

Speaker 1:

Okay, all right. What is it about?

Speaker 2:

What is it about? I wouldn't even say this is about.

Speaker 1:

God's talents that he gives to each and every one of us and his calling for our lives.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, we'll see where that goes, we'll see where this goes Okay.

Speaker 1:

First, we're going to thank Gossip Boutique for being our grand sponsor this month. It is a small town boutique with big style baby.

Speaker 2:

Gossip Boutique. Let me tell you about gossip, though we didn't mention this, but those Mardi Gras shirts that we wore, those custom Mardi Gras shirts, how could I forget? She made those? Had those made custom for her.

Speaker 1:

They were custom made, she designed them, had someone produce them, but y'all they flew off the shelves. When I'm telling you, we did a little video for her just to help promote them, and they, they were so cute. She said I don't know if I'm telling you, we did a little video for her just to help promote them, and they, they were so cute, she said I don't know if I'm gonna have enough until martyr girl.

Speaker 2:

And we were like that's so good, we love that yes, and she also, like I had.

Speaker 1:

I needed an outfit for the saints game one day and I had nothing black and gold in my closet, so I was like help I need, and she just decked me out head to toe for that Saints game and I felt like a million bucks. So if you need a special outfit for a special occasion, go to Gossip Boutique in Eunice, louisiana, and let them outfit you. Okay, you're going to feel real nice, real nice, and you're going to look even nicer. All right, okay, thank you, gossip Boutique. If you're not local, though, y'all you can shop online. Let me say that Go to thegossipboutique that's the website, thegossipboutique, thegossipboutique and you can have it shipped right to your little door.

Speaker 2:

Mm-hmm, all right.

Speaker 1:

I like that Me too, me too.

Speaker 2:

All right, so today we're talking about God's talents. All right, so today we're talking about God's talents.

Speaker 1:

You know, this topic always gave me like I always would get anxiety about it, even as a young girl, because my mama would always say, like when you're not using your God-given talents, or like what the gifts that God gave you, it's you know, it's not good, good like I don't know, yeah, how to say it like it's you're wasting, wasting. You're wasting that. And at the time I thought I was gonna be a singer. Okay, I just thought God gave me a voice to sing and that fact that I wasn't like singing in a church, like the worship team or whatever, I thought I'm disobeying God and I felt really guilty about it and I never did. I never did go do that.

Speaker 2:

You never became a singer. I never became a singer. You know, let's change that.

Speaker 1:

No, I don't have that calling anymore on my life.

Speaker 2:

Well, for me, my talent was to sing and you sing so good and, while pitchy, most of the time I did use, I did use my. I did use my talent for a while. Um, at some point it was, it was bar singing, karaoke singing, and then it became a praise and worship singing and I really liked that. That was a fun part of my life. But it was also a part of my life where I'm not really using that too much anymore. But it was a season for me, yeah, okay, and so we did praise and worship stuff. And then I worked at the private school so they always, you know, included me in whatever and I did praise and worship for, like there was like an annual week catholic schools week yeah, yeah, they would invite me and they would all get together, yeah, and so me and my sister would sing.

Speaker 2:

We both sing, yeah, and my sister still sings, for you know, weddings, funerals, all those things she's refined.

Speaker 1:

I am the scraggly one, okay, but together we, we always enjoy singing a lot and um it's beautiful and she so.

Speaker 2:

I don't know. I feel like that's just.

Speaker 1:

That is a talent that God gave me and some people I feel like they know their talent from the time. They little like they. They know this is what God put in me is special. I know this is my calling type thing and some people don't know and they still maybe don't know. You know, I always had people hyping me up.

Speaker 2:

Like you know, like my uncle Glenn he was our choir director my mom and my daddy, they, and my, my grandma, they always told me how special my gift was, and kind of like your mama you know like you need to use it. You know because god gave it to you. So I feel like that's kind of a thing where you know people. Um, we always say, uh like talk.

Speaker 1:

Like they influence you.

Speaker 2:

No, you remember? We say like speak life. Oh yeah, people were speaking life into that.

Speaker 1:

Yeah yeah, yeah For me.

Speaker 2:

And so that was good Mm-hmm, but maybe you don't know what your talents are.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, no, maybe you don't, and maybe that's some thought and prayer time that you need to dedicate to that. You know, and especially a lot of people, you might have moved away from your home, or you might have moved away from your family and you're like Lord, what, what is my place right now? What am I supposed to do? Where do I fit in? What, what, what? I want you to use me, but I don't know what to do. And if you know, if that's you, just don't give up on that. He will put you with who you need to be, with where you need to be, and as long as you have a heart that is willing and open to his will, you're going to be all right. He's going to put you on the right path. Yeah.

Speaker 2:

And sometimes the right path is just going to be for you to figure out what your talent is. You know, and it doesn't need to be anything extraordinary. Maybe you have a good way with people.

Speaker 1:

Maybe you have a good.

Speaker 2:

you know, you're charismatic and you can really speak to people. Maybe you can't, Maybe you're working from afar. There's so many different talents he gives us that are unique to each person, Correct. So don't discount yourself, but pray about it you know, because then you know he might open up a door and say you know, you know what, you really good at making bread, why don't you?

Speaker 2:

make bread for your, you know, or you're really good at um, oh, our friend Amy is really good at organizing stuff, you know, and so God has opened up doors for her.

Speaker 1:

You know stuff? Yeah, you know, and so God has opened up doors for her.

Speaker 2:

You know, yeah, you know in this field, yeah, you know she's on the community development and God's given her that in her life.

Speaker 1:

And she keep people on track, in line and on track. Yeah, so you know. Just think about it. Maybe you're just a nurturer, you know, and your place is at home with your family, nurturing, caring. You know, and your place is at home with your family, nurturing, caring for your family. And that is what God wants for you and that's his gift that he put in you.

Speaker 1:

Some, some women know they were born to be mamas and wives and that's their role and they ain't never happier than when they being a mama and a wife. And that's another thing. A way I feel like you, you know what your gift is is because when it's being used in you, you are happy, joyful, at peace. You know, and maybe I wouldn't, maybe it wouldn't, maybe it was singing for me at one time and then, like a phase or a stage in your life and it becomes something else. And when I went to college I went for management, business management. I like I knew I wanted to be. I think I realized in like junior college, like I went to LSUE first before I went to UL and I was in the students in free enterprise group and we had to do like public speaking and do presentations and stuff.

Speaker 1:

I know fun well, I mean, it was like an extracurricular school thing. But look at you. Yeah, what the heck.

Speaker 2:

Why would you sign up for that?

Speaker 1:

Because my advisor was like you would be great at this, we need somebody. Here you go, and my mama was like it might be a good experience. They traveled to competitions, like I went to Kansas City, I went to Memphis, I went somewhere else I think two of those places for sure. Anyway, it was fun, it was good and it got me more confident. Yeah, like that's part of where my confidence came from from, like speaking.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, and that just wouldn't be the first thing to be like. I'm in college, I'm going to go into public speaking.

Speaker 1:

No, it's not like I was going to like pursue that as a career or anything.

Speaker 2:

Is it not? Is that not?

Speaker 1:

what you do right now, but you see how God works. Because, I did not expect that at all, no, no, but how it has helped to shape me. Yeah, to be able to stand up and talk in front of people.

Speaker 2:

You see, that's so insane.

Speaker 1:

Yes. So there's that. And then in college, like I realized I wanted to major in management, I thought my talent or my desire to be a leader in some way was going to be in the corporate world.

Speaker 2:

So I'm like.

Speaker 1:

I'm going to go and I'm going to be a manager of something I don't know what yet, but I'm getting a business degree in management and I'm going to go into the world and that's what my talent for wanting to be a leader is going to be used. Ok, well, I did that, never used that degree for what I thought it was going to be for. I went into land man work right after that. What did you think you were going to do? I don't know. I thought I was going to go get a job somewhere at an office and then just like work my way up to be a manager or supervisor of what I don't know exactly what even is that. I don't know and quickly realized after I got into the workforce that this was not something I wanted to do at all.

Speaker 2:

God works in mysterious ways, but you know like there, there's lots you could do with a marketing degree.

Speaker 1:

There's lots? Yeah, of course there is, I mean. But when you realize like ugh, like this is just not for me, then what do you do? Well, I got into land man work and ended up liking. It was making good money, so I just went with it. You know and I'm tying all this in with what am I doing with Lime Life? You know, I'm a leader here.

Speaker 2:

I'm a team leader.

Speaker 1:

here I manage a group of. This is what. So it's not.

Speaker 2:

It's what you do.

Speaker 1:

It's not always in the way you think it might be, like I thought it was going to be in the corporate world, but that desire that God put in me to manage and to lead others is being used now in Lime Life and to market and sell things and market things. And, yeah, it's being used in how he wanted it to be used.

Speaker 2:

He wanted you to market community. He wanted you to market him. You know, isn't that interesting?

Speaker 1:

Yeah, and have an influence on people's life in other ways than just business. Yeah, you know, yeah.

Speaker 2:

Not just as a consumer of lots of things I don't know.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, this is such an interesting conversation.

Speaker 2:

I'm moving. I don't know what to do with myself. Wow, that is insane, yeah, all right. Well, let's take a break, okay, of that. Okay, because I feel like this is going to be like we can keep talking really a lot, and let's talk about ourselves again. Let's market ourselves the cagey mamas? Uh, we are the cagey mamas. You can shop with us. We have merch, we have shout out videos.

Speaker 1:

I don't know if you know I think a lot of people don't know this shout out videos.

Speaker 2:

I don't know if you know I think a lot of people don't know this Shout out videos are similar to cameo Same concept.

Speaker 1:

It's a personalized video.

Speaker 2:

Video that we make for you. You go ahead and you send us all the information, like you have somebody's birthday, somebody's anniversary, you have like, just because.

Speaker 1:

Just because, even Like somebody's going through a hard time you know they like the C of mamas and we make them laugh we'll send them a video and brighten their day yeah, just for them.

Speaker 2:

Just for them. So shout out, videos are relatively new to the website. Um, if you, if you don't know about them, go we have a few uh little clips of some that we did, so go check it out if that sounds like something for you. I know we had a few of them that we've done for birthdays. We had some about Mother's Day, but we didn't get to those because you had your wisdom teeth out oh. I was out so, but you know stuff like that.

Speaker 1:

Anniversary.

Speaker 2:

Father's Day has just passed. Yeah, but you know different occasions merry christmas, that type of stuff, happy halloween, happy birthday. Happy birthday, all right, boss's day, happy retirement secretary. Let's have coffee she wants. Will you marry me?

Speaker 1:

nobody's ever asked us to do no I would be fun that made my pits sweat a little bit thinking about that. That would be a very important thing, but we'll do it, marcia. Marcia, daryl really wants to tell you that he loves you and he thought what better way than the cajun mamas having coffee and talking about how wonderful you are, martha? He loves you cooking, martha. He said that you make the best cornbread.

Speaker 2:

Her name is Marcia.

Speaker 1:

Marcia, well, I thought you said, martha, okay, we'll have all this written down, don't worry, yeah.

Speaker 2:

Okay, so, and then at the end.

Speaker 1:

Daryl would like to know will you marry him? Me see, do you see?

Speaker 2:

what, how wonderful this could be for you.

Speaker 1:

Daryl, if you're out there, let us propose to Marsha Martha for you anyway, anyway, this is so go to kjmamascom. Typical shout out video, but really fun uh and in a special, different way yeah, yeah, you know different kind of gift to uh, to give somebody all right.

Speaker 1:

So what are you doing? So I I wanted a few little little scriptures, maybe, and like some little inspirational things, to share with our viewers right now, and so I thought I would read a few of those things. Okay, a Bible verse to sort of go along with this topic. First, peter 4, verse 10. Each of you should use whatever gifts you have received to others to serve others. As faithful stewards of God's grace in its various forms, use the gifts. Use whatever gifts you have received to serve others. Yeah, I like that. Romans 12, verse 6. We have different gifts according to the grace given to each of us. Everyone has a gift from the Lord and we are supposed to use them in some good way.

Speaker 2:

Yeah. You know, what are some other, what are some small ways, though I feel like people are always looking for big gifts, you know.

Speaker 1:

What about, like making meals for a new mama and her family. Okay.

Speaker 2:

I do appreciate those people.

Speaker 1:

Oh my God, that got me through some difficult like transition period for my first baby for sure. Not to have to worry about cooking. If you know of a new mama and don't say listen, let me know if you need anything, because they never going to ask. They never going to ask.

Speaker 2:

They don't put you out.

Speaker 1:

Tell them I'm cooking for you this week. Would you prefer lasagna or rice and gravy, or you know like, don't make them too much. Just this is what it's going to be.

Speaker 2:

They won't're not gonna turn you down. I had, I had our friend sarah richard brought me a big pan of like this goulash stuff and let me tell you what we monged on that. Yeah, because it means I couldn't do nothing so maybe you know and she took care of us in that way and that was you know. Yeah, that was special to me.

Speaker 1:

It's special you know, there's ways that you can serve others without it being some big grand thing, but it's see, it goes back to just being used by God in that, in whatever way he wants to use you, and that can be your gift. You know, maybe your gift is uh, you're the encourager, like you are the one to say oh girl, your hair looks so good today. Simple compliments.

Speaker 2:

That goes a long way. It goes such a long way. Good morning goes a long way.

Speaker 1:

I was thinking about you, just wanted to check in on you.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, it could be some little things that's powerful to some people, you know, I know when I get those text messages I'm like, oh, she's thinking about me.

Speaker 1:

That's sweet.

Speaker 2:

Just to make somebody else feel seen is a big gift. It really is, because some days are just monotonous, same old, same old. It can get that way, you know, yeah, but um, but when you have somebody really, you know, paying attention to you, I'm praying for you. We have a little group, we call them the mantra, the momtourage, and we, like you know what, uh, you, you know I'm suffering with this. You know how can I pray for you today?

Speaker 2:

And that's so big for us. That's a lot of what we do. We don't even get together all that often, but we pray for each other. You know, maybe you are a person that sets up that group for you and your friends. You might not see each other. Y'all might all live in different states.

Speaker 1:

But just knowing that there's somebody out there praying for you, that's a special gift. It is, you know, just getting that, that camaraderie and prayer can definitely be your gift, like some people are just so good at praying and powerful prayer you know, I call those people.

Speaker 2:

They have a, a direct line a direct connection.

Speaker 1:

Okay, I'm looking at a few of these other things that are just so good. I kind of talked about this how your gifts grow with obedience Okay, obedience to the Lord and His voice. Sometimes God starts you off with a seed of talent and he grows it as you trust him. You know, yeah.

Speaker 2:

Dang. That's in the Bible. No this is just a little quote. Okay, I've never heard that's a quote, but that's good.

Speaker 1:

It's not a scripture but yeah, Isn't it good though that is good.

Speaker 2:

I see that in my own life with teaching. You know that was the seed, yeah, and then God being like, all right, let go, let go.

Speaker 1:

Mm-hmm.

Speaker 2:

You know, because I got more for you to do, I need you to do some more things. So I don't know, and that came with trust, that came with trust and obedience. Absolutely Yep.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, using your gifts in your everyday life, whether you're a stay-at-home mom, a nurse, a teacher or a content creator. Encourage everyone that God uses all roles and all and seasons. Like yeah, it's could be one thing in one season of your life and then another thing in another season of your life. And builds upon it.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, it builds Exactly.

Speaker 1:

How do you discover the gifts God has placed in you? Often it's what comes naturally or what brings you joy when serving others. You know like, when. You know when, when you are being used by God and you. You know it because you feel such joy and peace, like we do right now, right, I feel.

Speaker 2:

but I'm just I feel so comfortable with where we are.

Speaker 1:

you know like yeah, like cause, you just know you are where, where you're supposed to be. God doesn't the qualified.

Speaker 2:

he qualifies the called oh, that one's so powerful I love that because you know, like sometimes we just like I don't know, I can't do this.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, I can't do this like god. I don't know what you think in here, but this, this is not for me I can't do this, but he gives you the tools he gives you those talents?

Speaker 2:

Yeah, you know.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, your talent. This is a great quote. Your talent is God's gift to you. What you do with it is your gift back to him. Ooh, ooh, that's so good, so good. I know that is your gift back to him Three songs.

Speaker 2:

I got them You're doing for him. Yeah, yeah, that's so good. I know I heard or read all of these before I know, Instagram is. My Instagram is filled with that, With quotes and things, yeah, instagram feed.

Speaker 1:

God has given each of us unique gifts and a unique calling. We don't have to copy anyone else. We're meant to shine just as we are. Comparison is the thief of joy and the enemy of calling. God gave you that gift on purpose, for a purpose. That's great.

Speaker 2:

I like that just, and many, many different talents you could have.

Speaker 1:

That's so interesting, and gifts and if you don't know how you can be used, then I just encourage you to pray for god, to to show you how like just to have a heart that wants to serve. Show me how I can serve others, lord. Show me how I can give my gifts back to you I just love, that. That, oh man.

Speaker 2:

This is such a good topic. I love that you know who else uses their God-given talents.

Speaker 1:

I think it's that Chris Logan guy. I think it's Chris Logan. He's so good at what he does and he uses it to serve others and help businesses grow.

Speaker 2:

And that's so nice of him.

Speaker 1:

It's so nice.

Speaker 2:

What a nice gift god has given chris logan, as he has so much expertise in social media, managing marketing and uh, let's see google ads, digital marketing, logo design and rebranding like he can help you build your business, or kind of know if you want a refresher or whatever Times are changing. You know social media is big Digital marketing and social media marketing is the way of the future now and, if you like, doing it, old school too.

Speaker 1:

He even knows about radio and television advertisement. If you want to go that route, if you want to go that route, but if you, you know, maybe you want to grow your business in the realm of digital marketing and you like, this is way above my knowledge and what I know that's not a talent of mine, that's not my talent, so let me find someone who's good at this.

Speaker 1:

Speaker 2:

This is Chris Logan Media Studio.

Speaker 1:

This is his studio and all this wonderful digital video that you're watching on our YouTube channel right now and the sound quality. That's all, chris. So thank you for being a sponsor. Chris, logan Media and the Cajun Mamas love you, we do, and you put up with us too.

Speaker 2:

Thank you for sharing your talents with everybody. Yes, All right. Well, I mean, there's just so much to say about you. Know what God gives us.

Speaker 1:

Sometimes it's different for everybody, and sometimes it's scary, you know it can be really scary. It can be terrifying To open up and you feel like god's calling you to do something or serve in this way, and you're like huh, like I'm not qualified to do this. I don't know nothing about mission, missionary work or, uh, speaking in front of people, or I don't know, running a soup kitchen. I don't know, I don't know, I don't know nothing running a soup kitchen.

Speaker 1:

I don't know, I don't know, I don't know nothing about that, whatever it might be, but I feel like that's totally valid of a feeling.

Speaker 2:

Oh yeah, and I feel like everybody probably feels that way at some level. You know, you see these people doing big things okay. Like missionary work is what they had to go through in the prayer that it took.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, realize this and say okay, okay, god okay, you want me to do and say yes to it and correct yes and um and a lot of times blindly, because you know, and I think that's on purpose because if we could see everything laid out, we wouldn't need faith. We't need to depend on him to get us through and to teach us what we need to know I mean. Where's the faith in that?

Speaker 2:

You know if.

Speaker 1:

God would light up all the steps. Sometimes all you see is one step ahead. Sometimes you don't even see one step ahead.

Speaker 2:

It's so foggy in front of you you can't see, and God's asking you to go, but you have to trust, like that happens so often to me. Oh my gosh, I'm just like but are you sure about this? Are you sure I don't know about this?

Speaker 1:

Well, and that goes along with your teaching and your talent of being a great teacher and having to step away from the traditional role that you were as a teacher, and you knew that that was what god was calling you to do. But it's like what? Are you sure? How am I gonna step away from this? Why are you doing this? Why, how, why?

Speaker 2:

are you doing this?

Speaker 1:

I just, I just I know why why would you be doing this?

Speaker 2:

why are you doing this to me?

Speaker 2:

and now I'm just like all those blind steps I took to get right where he just said trust me yeah, but it's in so many different places of my life that this happens, though, and sometimes in the smallest ways, you know like, I don't know. For example, we go, we went to, you know, we went to the postmasters and he was like and we really needed to steer, we needed to make a change, and he was like, hey, what about this person you know like, and he helped us kind of move into a different direction as far as what we were doing at the time and we met somebody else because we had talked to him and that person we met somebody else through that and the chain of events.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, and the chain of events if you just follow, and sometimes we're like I don't feel like this is something that we should do and we just move away from it. Yeah, and it's definitely God's steering us in a different direction. Yeah, so we always say, as us being in a business partnership, because now, as a business, opportunity presents itself, we always are like okay, how do you feel about this?

Speaker 1:

Like, what did you say? What is like? And we try to stay prayer prayed up about things. And if we both have that feeling, I'm sorry, we just it can't, we, it's not going to work out or whatever. And we just have to trust that that's not for us, you know.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, or maybe we have plans to do something and it just keeps happening, that something gets in the way of it and we know that's like by by, by the fourth or fifth time we're like all right.

Speaker 1:

God's like okay, now that's enough, right?

Speaker 2:

okay, I'm trying to tell you this is not the way to go. Take that other little step. We gotta be hit over the head with it yeah, but and it's not always easy to see, though, you know. So it's okay, just pray about it and and and I know we say, we say that all the time, but that's what we do- yeah, we pray, what else can?

Speaker 1:

you do there's nothing you have it's a scary alternative if you don't. I mean stepping outside of god's will for you, I mean all kind of havoc can wreak and will, and will you know you want to stay in that protection. Yeah, that hedge of protection. Yeah, that's true.

Speaker 2:

I plead a hedge of protection over you because we have to, we have to, we have to stay prayed up, all right well, this was, this was.

Speaker 1:

I enjoyed this and I hope it inspired you to search your heart. If you don't know what, maybe what, where you know there's a calling or a bigger calling on your life and but you maybe just aren't quite sure what that is, spend some time in prayer and dedicate time of prayer to that. Yeah, you know, and even you know I'm going to say fast too, you know, and that's not always like food, it could be something else, you know, pick something to sacrifice, to offer up as a sacrifice with your prayer, and there's a lot of power in that, especially when it's something, a major something in your life, like there's a time to fast and pray about it and and trust God to give you a, you know, a clear maybe not a clear vision, but like clarity on the situation and just have a servant's heart.

Speaker 1:

You know, I think that's all God wants from us. It's a heart to love him, to love others and serve him.

Speaker 2:

and serve others by doing different things and serve others.

Speaker 1:

Yeah.

Speaker 2:

That's what he wants us to do.

Speaker 1:

love that's all he asks us to do really? Yeah, you know, and that just looks like different things for different people.

Speaker 2:

Everything is love. Love me, love you know, love everybody you know and serve, and that's the best way that we can love is to serve them. Yeah.

Speaker 1:

You know and serve in whatever way God is calling you to do. That Mm-hmm, yeah, yeah, yeah, baby.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, but maybe God's calling you to gossip Maybe?

Speaker 1:

Oh no, we're not going to gossip.

Speaker 2:

No, we are going to go to Gossip.

Speaker 1:

Speaker 1:

so fun, a little matchy-matchy mother-daughter bracelet or something, or you know, your kids is too old for a birthday party, but you know, maybe you want to bring them to the charm bar.

Speaker 2:

They each get them a little charm. I mean, y'all go and spend a little time in the city of Eunice and have some good time.

And if you're not local, you can shop online at thegossipboutique that's the website, the dot boutique, and you can have the stuff shipped to your house, your little front door. Open that box and be happy.

Speaker 2:

all there, put your little outfit on and be, just have the best day. Yeah, all right. Thank you, gossip boutique, for being, uh, the grand sponsor of coffee talk with the cajun mamas this month. Yes, um, and we're gonna close out with a prayer, um, a prayer that you know we're gonna pray with you about, you know, thinking about your talent, recognizing your talent. Maybe you really know what your talent is already and you just need to. You want to use it, utilize it to the best of your ability.

Speaker 1:

So let's pray.

Speaker 2:

OK, In the name of the Father, Son, Holy Spirit, Amen, Amen, Lord God, we thank you for this time today to just sit right here and think and pray on our talents. Maybe we know what they are already. Maybe he's already made them clear to us and we just want to make sure we're using it in the best way that we can. We want to make sure that we are in alignment with your will for our lives so that we can whatever that is, we can get close to you, closer to you, and bring others closer to you through our talents. And you know, maybe if we're struggling finding what those talents are, you help us to make them clear. You give us some clarity on what they are and we ask you to help guide us. You give us some clarity on what they are and we ask you to um, to help guide us and you know what. Help our children. Help our children to know what those talents are too.

Speaker 1:

And uh, amen, yes, that's all, I got Jesus name Amen.

Speaker 2:

Amen, I love it. Father, son Holy spirit, thank y'all so much for listening, and we'll see y'all next week.
