Having just been on a recent Shamanic retreat, and thinking about what that really means to go on retreat, I spend this episode exploring what a retreat is and what it can offer us in terms of experience and introspection, community and self expression. I also ask the question: "Do we really need to spend thousands of pounds flying half way around the world to retreat or can we create an effective retreat space right here at home?"
