●        Open communication: Be able to express your needs and feelings honestly and directly with potential partners. 

●        Emotional intelligence: Understand your own emotions and be able to navigate the emotions of others. 

●        Respectful boundaries: Know what you are comfortable with and be able to set clear boundaries in dating interactions. 

Signs you might not be ready for dating:

●        Rebounding from a breakup: Need time to heal and process emotions before starting to date again. 

●        Using dating to escape loneliness: Seeking validation or a quick fix instead of genuine connection.
