Spiritual Q&A: Manifesting in Uncertain or “Low” Seasons
Have you ever felt your manifestation practice grind to a halt when life gets heavy? You're not alone—and there's profound wisdom in these seemingly unproductive seasons.
The universe doesn't care about your pretty vision board; it cares about your capacity to hold what you're asking for. When manifestation feels slow or challenging, it's not failing—it's preparing you for what's coming. As Lizzy and Nikki reveal in this episode, the manifestation process isn't just about attracting what you want but becoming the person who can sustain it.
Drawing from personal experiences—from Nikki's divine intervention during her lowest financial point to Lizzy's winding path that led to her husband and family—the hosts unpack how divine timing orchestrates circumstances for your highest good in ways your limited perspective cannot comprehend. They challenge conventional goal-setting wisdom, suggesting that true manifestation flows when we release control rather than obsessively checking for progress.
For women especially, natural hormonal cycles create energetic fluctuations that make being "high vibe" 24/7 not just unrealistic but potentially counterproductive. These natural rhythms aren't obstacles but opportunities to develop deeper awareness and resilience. The darkness isn't something to avoid—it's half of what makes life on Earth a complete experience.
Ready to transform your relationship with manifestation? Join the ModernZen Collective's 30-Day Manifestation Challenge this September through their app and discover how to co-create from a place of intention, no matter what season you're in. Remember: the vision is merely the bait; the becoming is the real work.

Speaker 1:And I'm Nikki. We are so happy to have you here and today we're diving into something that's been showing up a lot lately for us and anyone we're speaking with. We're in a season where things may feel a little uncertain, energetically slow or even heavy, and we're speaking with. We're in a season where things may feel a little uncertain, energetically slow or even heavy, and we're getting the question can I still manifest when things feel like this?
Speaker 2:Yes, we've been hearing that a lot lately and, funny enough, I got onto Instagram this morning and I was just scrolling through, as we all do, and was scrolling over Vishen, who is one of the creators of Mindvalley, and he had this post about mindset and manifesting and using ChatGPT to answer some questions, which I don't know if you guys are into ChatGPT, but Nikki and I are obsessed and I wanted to read this post that he shared with you guys before we get started. So he said I wanted to read this post that he shared with you guys before we get started. He said the universe doesn't care about the pretty picture in your mind. It cares about your capacity to hold what you're asking for.
Speaker 2:Every time you set an intention, life will send you not the thing, but the curriculum. You ask for love. You will meet the parts of you that push love away. You ask for abundance. You will meet every belief in you that says you are not enough. You ask for freedom. You will meet every chain you forged yourself. Manifestation is not about calling something in. It's about letting everything in you that is not ready for it die. That is why it feels hard. That is why it feels slow, because the thing you want already exists, but you have to become the person who can live inside it without collapsing, sabotaging or shrinking. The vision is the bait, the becoming is the work. And the moment you finally realize that, you stop asking why isn't it here yet and start asking who am I becoming in the process? That is when the universe says now you're ready.
Speaker 1:So good.
Speaker 2:It really is.
Speaker 1:Of the times we've talked about how to pull in or just align with not even pull in, just embody the energy of what you want to attract. It's all about getting back to your authenticity, your authentic self and who you are on the soul level, and releasing all these layers of what's societal conditioning, et cetera. And that is all so true because if you're asking for love and all of these lessons come in, you can get really frustrated that your love is not here yet.
Speaker 2:You know that is not the opposite of manifestation, or it's not the opposite where you're manifesting from this lower energetic type. It's really part of the whole manifestation process Feeling like you're in that low season, feeling like you're in that funk. It's almost like it's darkest before the light. It's like you're going through, trudging through all the shit before you get to the other side and your manifestation comes. So I think why I wanted to share that with you guys is because this whole episode is really about can we manifest when you're not feeling high energy, when you're not feeling clear, when you're feeling uncertain, when you're feeling low? And I think this is really pointing out that yes, and it's part of it. It's part of the process being in these places. Everything can't be great all the time, because then we don't even recognize that it's great.
Speaker 1:Exactly, and you know, as women we don't have a 24-hour cycle either. So not only are we juggling everything that's going on with the lessons that are coming in, or a shedding, or having these ebbs and flows, which are totally natural, we're also going through it with our cycle. So, whether it's a 28-day cycle or whatever yours is, and those are the emotional waves that we have. And then, at another layer, if you're emotional from your human design chart, you know, a lot of emotions can come into play. So being in a funk is not a detriment, it's not something that's negative for what you want to call in, and Lizzie said it's part of the process to you know, come home to yourself, learn, evolve and kind of grow. In that way we don't need to be high vibe 24, seven. If we don't look at the dark, then we are, you know, kind of omitting 50% of what life here on earth really is like. It's meant we're meant to have the balance and the polarity so we can see how good the good is and we can feel the emotions which are there to help us heal on a soul level and on a physical level, here in the here and now, while you're, you know, physically going through your day to day and these, these times where you know maybe you want to call, for instance, a manifestation of whatever. It might be a new house or a new car and it's not coming in. It's not coming in but these lessons are coming in. You might not notice that they're lessons. You might just feel that there are, you know, big inconveniences or minor inconveniences, et cetera, and when you start to peel the layers back and take a step back and look at those as a gift that it's helping you to release. Really awareness is 90% of it in healing.
Speaker 1:As soon as you have that awareness of this keeps happening or something's going on and you would be surprised at how the universe really conspires to help you move forward when you have that awareness that you're ready to learn that lesson and shed that skin. And every day is a gift. So one day shouldn't feel like a placeholder to get to another day. It should feel very much that you are living, enjoying whether it's the up or the down, and feeling the energy in that day. Because you never know, Every day is sacred. We don't know how long our time is here on earth. So, knowing that you have a manifestation you want to do and you want to receive and it's not coming. How much time you're exhausting and days you are wasting just waiting for that manifestation, instead of actually enjoying the lessons or what's coming through and the so-called funk that you might be feeling also.
Speaker 2:Yeah, I think you know we're all human. There's no way we're going to wake up every day feeling good. There's no way we're going to have difficult conversations or be in the room with people we don't really want to be with or doing things that we don't really want to do. There's no way we're going to feel great every day. And it can be easy to get thrown off of our energetic midpoint as well, and it can also be easy to forget the tools that we have in our belt to get us back to that good spot, that really balanced energy spot, or the high energy spot that we want to be when we show up in certain places, and so we can't sit here and say that we don't have those days. I have one of those days very recently where an interaction I had with somebody really just threw me for a loop, and so I think when you're in those places, we just want to talk about what it means to look, to feel like you're in a low or an uncertain season. You know and I think personally for me I know if you've been following along on this journey I have been manifesting a lot of things this year, things that have been on my mind for 10 plus years, things that have been on my wish list for a long time, things that have been on my wish list for a short amount of time. Things have been coming in a lot, and yet we just had 8-8, lionsgate. You know, super Bowl of Manifestation, this wonderful portal that closes on the 12th, and Nikki and I personally made this beautiful activation for you guys. That is on our podcast. We talk about Lionsgate, we think about it every year, we always contemplate doing a retreat over Lionsgate. You know, it's like this big thing for us, and yet, as Lionsgate came and went, I did nothing. I did nothing, and for me, that, for me personally, feels like I just missed the boat, like I just missed this big time. For me to ask for what I want, for me to put it out in the universe, for me to manifest with this energy, for me to call in what's next, because I am in this really weird place of having a lot of things going on and having nothing going on at the same time, and for me, I can't even get my brain wrapped around what I want next. I can't even get my brain wrapped around where I want to be, even six months from now where I want to be, even six months from now. So for me, I couldn't even allow myself to take any time away from my family, away from my kids, to go somewhere quiet and think. Honestly, I didn't like I wanted to, but I didn't want to, so I didn't do it. And that might not feel like such a big deal to somebody else, but for me, when this is my life, like this is something that Nikki and I talk about all the time. This is something that I preach to other people.
Speaker 2:I'm talking to my husband about what he wants to manifest for his you know his career. I'm like this is the time to say thank you. This is the time to ask for more. This is the time to ask for what you want. You know his career. I'm like this is the time to say thank you. This is the time to ask for more. This is the time to ask for what you want.
Speaker 2:You know, I'm literally talking to my husband about this like a few days ago, and I'm not doing any of it, and so it kind of makes me feel, you know, a little bit like a poser in some ways. You know, not completely, not really, but you know what I mean, there's a little, there's a little thing, but to me that looks like me being in a. I feel like I'm in a funk right now, so in like, really, while we're talking to you about this, right now, for me I feel like I'm in a manifesting low point because I don't want to do it. I want to do it, but I don't even know what I want and I don't know what to ask for and I don't know what my life's going to look like, and so and that's okay.
Speaker 1:Yeah, there's this space between the notes, like one time a spiritual teacher told me that and I hold onto it so closely because if the music didn't have the space between the notes it would just sound like chaos, it wouldn't even sound like music. So you need that time where you do nothing just to have that space. And maybe this time for you is the expansiveness and the grounding and the settling in. And the thing about manifestation is it doesn't need to be, you know, for something like this Lionsgate, of course, big ceremony, go to nature, relax, etc. You can definitely have your intentions that way, but we manifest all the time and you know it's the feeling of what you want, the visualization, you know embodying that feeling and then releasing. So there's probably things in your aura, like Abraham Hicks talks about, like out there floating around you, that you want to manifest, that you can't remember from the conscious mind right now of things that you want to do. So you've already done it without even like thinking about it.
Speaker 2:Yeah, it's just crazy. So pretty much what we're trying to say is if you're feeling that too, you're not alone, you're not doing manifestation wrong. It is part of the process, and even when we think we're not manifesting, we are manifesting.
Speaker 1:Yeah, we manifest every day. That's just part of the laws of the universe. We're manifesting all of the time, every day, and something like this being if it feels like a lull or feels like life is hard or nothing's going your way, or just anything like that, we're always manifesting. So it's like that awareness, you know, and then just having that release like surrender, having that deep trust, you know, and then just having that release like surrender, having that deep trust. An example for me and it sounds so silly, but I really think about it often it happened maybe 15 years ago.
Speaker 1:I was in a low point. I was in my career, I was traveling for work and I had zero money. I was spread so thin. I was trying to figure out how I was going to have money when I'm traveling and this and that and pay my bills and pay my rent and all this stuff, and I was in a very, very, very, very negative, dark place. But I was showing up for work when I was traveling and doing everything what I needed for everyone in that location. I remember I was in Raleigh, North Carolina, and I was having just such a terrible day, just worried so much about how I was going to make ends meet and I remember going on a walk and it was late and it was summer and it was like a mile down and I was walking around and I just said I can't take it anymore.
Speaker 1:I'm just going to like forget it. Like just I can't, I can't, can't keep worrying about it, can't having breakdowns, I'm just going to like stop worrying about it. And I kid you, not I, this is I swear I went to the restaurant next to the store that I was a district manager of and I got a free meal. They were like oh, we're closing up. You do want the pizza you got yesterday. We'll just make it for you, it's free. And then my hotel was 15 minutes away, just where corporate had a stay. So I was. I came out into the lobby and I was like, okay, I'm going to like get an Uber or whatever, like I'll figure that out. And then the there was a concierge at the lobby. They were like oh, we actually have like a car for the hotel, do you? We can take you to the other hotel if that's fine with you. We just got back from a trip. We actually have to go back that way. It's a Bentley. I hope that's okay.
Speaker 1:So here I am with my free pizza, sitting in the back of a Bentley, young and broke and just like, okay, this all came out of that time. I didn't realize it was from me releasing, but it just lifted my energy and I felt blessed and I felt taken care of for and I felt really light in that moment just of trusting, of like, okay, things are going to be better, they're going to be okay, and that like little instance. However, it was probably like a full, like hour or whatever. 15 or 18 years ago, however long it was still stays with me that I felt at the bottom of the bottom with nothing and this huge funk that I felt at the bottom of the bottom with nothing, this huge funk. And then these things I didn't even know that I wanted, like I wasn't willing for them came into my life so quickly and I believe it's because I just said I surrender, I can't take it anymore, I need help, help.
Speaker 2:You know that kind of thing. I love that. Wow, what a great story and I love that it still sticks with you to this day. So really, you guys think, have you ever manifested something beautiful when you were in a tough place?
Speaker 2:Mm-hmm one memory you can pull to the forefront of your mind to hold on to a little bit when you're not feeling so high vibe or so in the flow, and what practices help you stay connected to those desires even when you feel off? Are there any practices that help you reconnect? Maybe for Nikki it's reliving that memory For me as well. I like to recall times when I have manifested something that feels so uncalled for and so special, like, oh my God, how did this come? How did this get here? I think when you have those really aha moments for me, that's something that really reminds me too.
Speaker 1:Yes, absolutely. Manifestation in low seasons is really about the softness, the surrender, deep trust with yourself. It's not about pushing, because if you're in a lull or in a funk and you push, you're just going to get more of that funk. So it's really about aligning, releasing, even like in that quiet time whenever you feel maybe not at the max or at 100%.
Speaker 2:And I think, something that gets missed over a lot and something that Emma Mumford she hosts the Spiritual Queens Badass Podcast and she is a big manifestation speaker over in England Love her to death. One of the things that she really harps on is that piece of manifestation of letting go, just like Nikki was talking about completely letting go, because when we're constantly thinking about things, when we're constantly trying to get somewhere, we're not allowing the universe to work its magic to meet us halfway. Yes, we need to take action, inspired, aligned action. However, it's not as much as you think it is. It's really just when that ping hits. You know we talk about pings.
Speaker 2:When that ping hits, that where you're like, oh, I should do that, you just do it, and then you let it go again and you keep going about your day, going about your month, going about your year, and I really truthfully believe that these big manifestations, these things come in when you fully release them. When you fully let go, you move on. This isn't what we were taught in school. This isn't. Write down your three goals for the year, review them every single fucking day, multiple times a day, put them on a sticky note by your computer on your mirror in your car.
Speaker 2:This isn't that. This isn't that we're not looking for key metrics. We are not looking for the trend in the analytics to move up towards where we're going. We're literally asking for it. We're taking those actions that we feel inspired to take and then we're not thinking about it anymore and it might pop into our minds here and there. You're like oh yes, I do want that Wonderful. Is there something that I feel called to do right now to get to that? No, okay, let's keep moving on with my day, with my thoughts.
Speaker 1:Yes, absolutely, it's the release, rele, releasing control at any part in life can be difficult because we think we know A through Z of how to get there. But, like, think as you're listening, think about times when the most magical things happened to you. Did they happen because you had a plan from A to Z and that is exactly how it went and it came into life? Or did the universe surprise you and things just fell into place out of nowhere and things came out of the blue and you received maybe even better than what you wanted to manifest? So it's really about the release. And another thing that sticks with me I channel. I love channeling.
Speaker 1:My grandmother came through many years ago, before I even knew what channeling was. My grandmother came through when I was meditating and this was probably again 10, 15 years ago, and I was so hung up on relationships and everything and I was just begging and pleading in my meditation like where is he? What's going on? All my friends are getting married, what's happening? And my gram said you need a hobby because you are so focused on this. Put your energy somewhere else. Like that was it. That was my channeling from her and to this day I still think of that.
Speaker 1:If I get so fixated on something, I realize I need to adjust my energy and focus on something else so I can release this. The universe, it knows that I want it. I don't have to keep checking in with it and seeing where it's at, why it's not here yet, and just refocusing on something else, and that's something that's a practice that works for me when I'm feeling that I'm like really so control and latched on and I'm not saying I'm perfect. I still have those times where I'm wondering why our perfect home didn't come in yet, etc. But that's a practice that I go to when I want to just release, control and focus on something else.
Speaker 2:I like that. I like that a lot. Yeah, because we are so trained to like have these goals and hold on to them and work every single day to get towards them, so it can be quite opposite of what you're used to doing. So maybe try Nikki's thing If you're getting too fixated on something, go do something that doesn't have any purpose to it other than you having a good time. Exactly.
Speaker 1:And imagine it like acting like a kid again, with no purpose, to what you're doing and having fun, really aligns. It brings you in those highest, highest vibe frequencies and gets you into a place of you know, attraction, magnetism et cetera, and it can get you out of that funk because you're doing something you enjoy.
Speaker 2:I love that. I love that a lot. I'm doing. I'm doing a little crafting project up here while I'm doing it right now. I haven't sewn in years but I do love sewing. What kind of crafts are you doing? What are you making? I am making stuffed animals for my two kids out of their old baby clothes.
Speaker 1:Oh my.
Speaker 2:God, it's so cute. So that way we have something with their old clothes. A little memory, a little stuffed animal, who knows if it'll last? I don't know, I haven't sewn like I memory. A little stuffy animal who knows if the last. You know, I don't know, I haven't sewn like I said in years, but I did used to love doing it. I'm impressed.
Speaker 1:That's amazing. I can't wait to see the finished product. Yeah.
Speaker 2:Maybe I'll share it with you guys, if it doesn't look too terrible. Yeah, I would love that, love that. So another thing that we really wanted to talk about today was divine timing, because this is the thing right. This is why things don't come when we want them to, because the universe, god creator, whomever you speak to, has a plan, a plan and there are timelines. And while we can change the timelines, how quick things come in our construct of time, you know that we like to go by.
Speaker 2:Things happen when they're supposed to, and maybe the reason we feel stuck is because things really aren't meant to move yet.
Speaker 2:Maybe we're not in that place, like the post said, of being able to hold a hold ourselves in the container of the manifestation we're calling in.
Speaker 2:Maybe we're not in the right place yet, maybe we haven't learned the lessons we need to, maybe we haven't met the right people yet, maybe we haven't shown up where we need to. And there is a lot that happens with divine timing and a lot of times, you know, we can see this in hindsight, you know, and a lot of times, you know, we can see this in hindsight, you know, hindsight's 20-20. We can look back and we can see, oh, I wasn't ready for that and so here it comes. But how do we allow ourselves right now, while we're wanting this manifestation here, to relax and be okay with the timing the divine timing that it comes in. Okay with the timing, the divine timing that it comes in? Like, how do we allow ourselves to be in this period of waiting, while still learning and evolving, to be able to hold that new frequency, that frequency of the manifestation that we really want? Like, how do we trust this time that we're in while we're in it?
Speaker 1:Yeah, divine timing is so huge because the universe is looking at universe.
Speaker 1:God, whatever you, and whoever you speak to, is looking at everything from a overarching, 360 degree view to put the best pieces together for you to have the best scenario and the best life and the best growth and everything that goes along with it.
Speaker 1:Because when you do, that just enhances the rest of the collective and enhances the planet, helps everyone in the long run, because we are all connected, we're all one and understanding that divine timing really can be because the thing that you're meant to have just isn't ready yet, either because you're not in a line to match for it yet, or something on this side, the other side, isn't in a line matched for you yet, but it's coming or something better.
Speaker 1:As Gabby Bernstein says, when you manifest and you have a mantra, it's this or something better is coming into your life. So that divine timing it's really. It's amazing when you look at it and you look back at things that fell into place and had they fallen into place three months prior, it may not have worked out in the way that is the best for you because of all the things that happened afterwards. So it's really, really a big part of the process is obviously the trust and the surrender to being okay in these, the time between the notes, the space between the notes, and trusting the divine timing and having fun along the way, like still enjoying every day it's not a placeholder for another day just enjoying the ride, enjoying what you're doing today.
Speaker 2:Yeah, and I think you know, for me, divine timing has kind of shown up with, realistically, my husband, I would say probably the biggest thing that I can say where that happened, the way that it was supposed to, but also to allow us to learn lessons. I had just graduated college and I had a job lined up in Hawaii and I had this feeling like, oh, I want to go to the mountains, to work in the mountains for one last winter before I leave the mainland and fly out to this island and I don't know when I'm going to be back. So I'm going to go and work at the mountains. And I applied to different mountains. I applied to Vail, applied to Aspen, applied to Breckenridge, had interviews with multiple of them, just to be a snowboard instructor, work on the ski lifts, work wherever. I literally just applied to like, just go work in the mountains, just take me, let me be in the mountains, yeah, yeah, somewhere. And the first people that actually offered me the job and like got me moved along was Aspen. And I was like and it was to be a lifty, run, the ski lifts and I was like, well, that's not the best job, but let's do it, let's do it. So I did it and I went to Aspen.
Speaker 2:Turns out my husband now had been in a seven-year relationship in Texas and had been doing all this stuff in Texas and it was just not what he wanted. And so he and his best friend decided to just move to Colorado and live in Aspen for the winter. And I moved up there and I literally saw he was one of the first people I saw he and his buddy were in the truck while I was unloading all of my stuff to move into my employee housing. The next day we had job training and I saw he and his buddy sitting in the back of the room by themselves and I got invited to sit with like 30 people at their tables. You know, of course I'm a social butterfly, but I was like I said, no, I want to go sit with those guys in the back. So I went and sat with them and I was like, hey, I'm Lizzie, and that's how we met. And we hung out every single day since then. You know we just happened to fall in love. We were not dating, only each other. Let's just say we were having a great time living it up in Aspen and the night before I left he told me he loved me and I invited him to come to Hawaii with me.
Speaker 2:He came to Hawaii with me and, when I tell you, we were like 22 years old when we met and I'm about to be 36 this month, so this is a long time ago and I remember meeting him and spending time with him and he had so many of those qualities that I look for in a man In like a marriage, you know, in like a husband kind of man, and I'm like shit man. We met each other too young. There's no way we're going to get married, there's no way we're going to last through our 20s together, because I don't know if you guys have experienced it, but when I was in college I changed so much. Every single year I was like a different. You know, you're still the same person at the core, but you just evolve so much in your 20s.
Speaker 1:And.
Speaker 2:I'm like there's no way we're going to be able to grow together along this next period of our life before we want to get married in our 30s or something. And there was a lot of shit that we went through. There was a lot of ups and downs. We moved to Hawaii together. We moved back from Hawaii together to different places. Then we moved back to Aspen together. Then we lost our housing, moved to Texas together, started working for his mom at our first desk job. I'm telling you like all this stuff happened and we made it through all these different low points together, high and low points together.
Speaker 2:There were six months that we didn't speak to each other outside of the office when we were living in Texas, and I think you know that's where when I learned what love really was. It's sticking around when shit is really bad and hard until you can get to the other side because you really care about that person and you want them in your life. But I really feel like if I wouldn't have decided to go to the mountains one more time, if I wouldn't have decided to go to Aspen, if he didn't decide to go to Aspen, there is no world in where we would have met each other outside of this. And there's also no world where I would have moved to Texas, because when I met him I was like I'll never live in Texas, don't even ask, because it's not going to happen. And here I am. I've been in Texas longer than anywhere in my whole life Wild. I think divine timing was all like meeting him in the beginning and then all those years before we got engaged, we didn't get engaged until we were together five and a half years before we got engaged and we were engaged for two years before we got married and then we waited three years before we got pregnant. You know, we were not rushing into anything, were not rushing into anything and I think divine timing happened.
Speaker 2:And then I had to live in all this uncertainty, in all of these funky times, in all of these low vibe times throughout our courtship, our relationship, before we decided to be married. And here I am on the other side, having these two beautiful kids that I love, having this wonderful husband who obviously we have things that we still argue about. We're not perfect. Together we have a relationship. So relationships aren't sunshine and butterflies, you know, all the time. But if I wouldn't have made those decisions to follow those inklings. If he and I wouldn't have decided to continue to come back together when things were really hard, I wouldn't have this life that I have right now, and my life is really focused around my family number one. Following those pings, without me going to these places and all the stuff that happened to follow that, all the things that didn't happen that I really wanted to happen, I wouldn't be where I am today.
Speaker 1:Yes, right, the divine timing in flow and you trusting and everything along with it and kind of riding the wave and not trying to control, like I love. I love that story. I love that it came to Hawaii with you and that you ended up in Texas and just so so much that you were almost like pushed to grow within the relationship. You know, our relationships are our biggest mirrors anyway and it's just really cool to hear how all of that divine timing happened. I think it just, it just really speaks to that post that I that divine timing happened.
Speaker 2:I think it just really speaks to that post that I think we read. It's like, when you ask for these things, like when I asked for love, I got a bunch of shit back thrown in my face. You know, during these times and it was really hard to like look at my part in it, you know, and look at how I needed to change to be a better partner, because there were a lot of things that I was not good at when we first met. I was not a good girlfriend, I was not a good partner. I was very selfish, because that's how I was taught to be when I was growing up. You need to be able to take care of yourself, because nobody else is going to take care of you. You know you need to be independent, you need to be able to do everything yourself and not need anyone else. And how hard was that to unlearn, you know.
Speaker 1:Absolutely, and to have a partner that's patient in it, and obviously he was unlearning things too, like we all do. That it's just part of growing and evolving and getting into who we're meant to be. That authenticity again getting back to who we are and peeling those layers and having self-discovery and the awareness is huge. And I think what we really want to leave you with here is just a few reflection questions that can help you reconnect as you're listening or coming back to this, or even jotting them down now and reviewing later, even if you're in a slower season or whatever season you're in. So one question is what season am I in right now and can I honor it? What season am I in right now and can I honor it? What season am I in right now and can I honor it? I love that.
Speaker 1:Another question is where can I soften instead of push? Another good one when can I soften instead of push? Hmm, so think about reflect, reflect, maybe write down, jot down, lizzie, and I love some free writing. You know, either a few cleansing breaths or calming your nervous system, meditation, and then just writing what comes out of you, whether it's typing on your computer or free writing onto the page and letting your soul, letting your guides come through and help you with your self-discovery.
Speaker 2:And don't worry that you're not getting every single thought down on the piece of paper or out on your computer screen, because the act of writing it out slows you down, so only the important stuff comes out on the page. So hopefully by the end of the page you have that answer to the question that you're looking for, because all the answers are within us.
Speaker 1:It's all within. We're all one. We are all interconnected. We have access to all of our past and future lifetimes within us. Everything's within, everything's within. That's why when someone says something and you feel that ping, you know it's true because it's within, inside of your body. Same thing with discernment, ping. This isn't right for me. It's within your body, so it's. A big part of the process is releasing and surrendering and then writing things down. Have grace with yourself. Nothing needs to be perfect. You don't need to be perfect doing any of this. This is all for you Self-discovery and helping you manifest your best life.
Speaker 2:For you, that alignment, that health, that wellness, that happiness yes yes, and so, speaking of manifestation, this is exactly why we created our 30-Day Manifestation Challenge this September so not to push you to do more, but to guide you, to align more deeply and to hopefully find some practices that really resonate with you, that you really enjoy doing, that you can help bring back into the rest of your life. So we really want to invite you guys to really sit with these questions, think about where you are, let things go and if you're ready to co-create from a place of intention, no matter what season you're in, this 30-day manifestation challenge is going to be for you, and we're hosting it inside of our Modern Zen Collective app. So, if you're interested, go on over to Apple and download the app, and we will be doing push notifications every day in September. We have a different challenge for you every day, and we would love to see what you can create in 30 days and what we can too. We're 100% doing this with you, because we want the juice too.
Speaker 1:Absolutely, and there's nothing like community to get pumped, hear other people's stories, get inspired, and we love, love that aspect of it. So we are so excited to co-create, replace some intention with you, no matter what season you're in. So we will be here for you September 1st More details to follow but we will be so excited to see you there know you're still in the process, you're still manifesting and you're not behind, just like Nikki had to remind me.
