Lizzy Sutton & Nikki Sucevic Season 2 Episode 105

Holiday noise is real, but so is the quiet inside your chest. We guide a gentle, heart-centered meditation that turns scattered energy into grounded presence, using breath, visualization, and gratitude to help you move through the season with steadier nerves and a clearer sense of purpose.

If you’re seeking a practical tool to reduce stress, restore compassion, and keep purpose in view during a busy season, this guided practice is your five-minute reset.

If this helped you breathe easier, follow the show, share it with someone who needs a calm moment today, and leave a quick review so others can find the practice too.

We hope you enjoy it and continue to join us weekly on the Modern Zen Collective Podcast, Elevating Your Mind, Body, and Spirit. And now, today's practice. This November, we're guiding you through practices and conversations to prepare your whole self, mind, body, energetics, and spirit for the holiday season. Today's meditation is a gratitude and heart-centering practice helping you anchor into compassion and joy so you can move through this season with peace and purpose. So find a comfortable seat, close your eyes if that feels good to you today, and bring your hands to gently rest over your heart. Begin by noticing your breath. Inhale gently through your nose and exhale softly through your mouth. Now bring your awareness to your heart space. With each inhale, imagine a soft green light expanding from your chest. And with each exhale, feel tension releasing. As your heart light grows, call to mind one thing you feel grateful for today, big or small, and let it fill you up. Notice how gratitude shifts your body. Perhaps a warmth in your chest or a softness in your shoulders. Maybe a quiet smile. Now imagine this gratitude expanding outward like ripples on a pond, touching your loved ones, your community, and the world around you. Repeat silently or aloud. My heart is open. My life is filled with gratitude. I radiate compassion and joy. Breathe in this truth. Allow it to settle deep within your being. Take one final deep breath into the heart and exhale slowly, releasing any remaining tension. Whenever you feel ready, gently bring awareness back into your body. Wiggle your fingers and your toes and softly open your eyes. Thank you so much for joining us in this heart-opening practice. Carry your gratitude with you as a steady light during the holidays, returning to it whenever you feel overwhelmed or pulled away from your center. And don't forget, our weekly conversation episodes this month are filled with supportive tools and reflections to help you prepare your whole self. See you next time.
