SPEAKER_02:Welcome to a bonus episode of the Modern Zen Collective Podcast Plus. I'm Nikki, your host for this bonus episode. And my bonus episodes are typically channeling, messages that I get, downloads that I receive, how can I help, support during our theme of the month, and what comes to mind. And this month, a lot about how we can integrate, how we can reset our nervous system, and then moving into this new energy that we're having with the year of the fire horse and everything that we talked about on our episode together with Lizzie and I on the Chinese New Year. So, with that, what's what's coming to me and what um I feel called to talk about is the void, that time in between when you are in one foot in, one foot out. You're in one area and you're moving into the next. There's not a lot of movement happening. There's not a lot of what you can call magic happening, synchronicities happening. You're in this area, and this area where you feel that nothing is happening, there is major energy happening. We are just so used to in the 3D to have movement, movement, movement. That's how things are going. So when we have this time of the void, this time of uncertainty, what's going on, we are being asked to integrate. We are being asked to just be. And it's often at this time where just being and trusting can feel uncomfortable, especially if you are used to running around and going fast and checking off your to-do list and having action. Also, it can feel difficult if you don't have a consistent meditation practice or practice where you feel the energy in your body and you can feel that open space and you give yourself that time for mental clarity, for that spaciousness in your mind, right? So this time can be the time that we fall off from our forward motion. So, for an example, working in a full-time corporate job, deciding that it's time to make a change. You've energetically decided to do that. You started to put your resume out, you started to have some interviews, you can feel inside of you absolutely, I feel something is happening and I've made my decision. I'm moving to the other side. But you are in a time and space where your soul, your mind, your body are recalibrating to get you to that next level. So you might not receive as many interviews, especially if you look at a different industry or you look for a different job title, because the energy you've been living in for so long has been the energy you are currently in, right? And you want to leave that. So when you have this expansiveness and this idea that you've been a project manager at this job for five years, and now you want to be the director of ops, the energy is a little bit different. Or maybe you want to leave and start your own business, or maybe you want to leave and do something and pursue a creative. So this time of the void is that energy inside of you where you know you're moving to the next step. You can feel it. Even if you don't somatically really feel a lot of things in your body, you know, without a shadow of the doubt, the chapter you are in now is closing. You are done with it. You are done with that job, done with that relationship, done with that house, done with that apartment, done with that car, whatever it is. And you are moving into that next era. The void is the time in between the two. So when I say we can fall off or lose sight or get off track here, is because we're trying to control. We're trying to control the outcomes. Yes, action is something that we do and are meant to do here on earth, but it is aligned action. It's not controlled action. So this woman, let's say, her our archetype we're talking about, wants to leave project management, starts applying to operations roles, not getting a lot of interviews, getting some, getting declines, starting to feel like, oh, what's going on? I know I'm moving, but I don't know what's happening. I'm feeling very like uncomfortable inside of my body. I should probably just decide to stay at my job and not even worry about it. That would be what's safe to her in her body because this unknown is different. But she has this passion, this feel inside of her that she's definitely moving forward. She knows that. So could she procrastinate? Could she push it aside? Could she resist her soul urge to get out of that space of being uncomfortable? Yes. And that happens. Or we get so bogged down and so much in control state that we redo our resume 45 times. We apply to 5,000 jobs. We were just constant output without actually having this soul behind it, without actually having the aligned action behind it. Aligned action means you got a ping or an idea because you have this mental clarity and you create this spaciousness and you're you're feeling the void. You have this ping of, oh, my friend back home from Virginia works for this chemical manufacturer. I don't know why I just thought of her. Let me look it up. You look it up. Oh, well, they have an operations manager job open. That's crazy. I'm gonna reach out to her. That's aligned action. So this void time in between your two worlds is meant to feel uncomfortable because you are integrating. And you can fall out of this void and back into being comfortable and not move forward with what your soul desires, but then things are going to, because you've made up your mind, you can feel in your soul I'm moving to this new chapter. And when we don't actually live in that void, however long it would be, for some people, one to three days. For some people, one to three months, maybe, maybe longer than that. Everyone's is different. How we move through the void faster is to be okay with the uncertainty, is to be so strong in your foundation and understand so much so that I am absolutely getting that new house at this in this neighborhood. I know it without a shadow of the doubt. So I'm going to do the things that I love to do. I'm going to light myself up. I'm going to grow, evolve, I'm going to follow my pings, but I'm also going to allow this uncomfortable feeling inside of me to teach me what I need to know. So why am I uncomfortable with my own skin in this waiting period? Am I so used to action? Am I so used to being chosen? Do I feel rejected? Do I feel I don't have direction? Because you do have direction on an energetic level, you are moving. But allow yourself to integrate. This is all about integration. This time of the void is integration. And when we can become friends with our void, friends with this time, we can naturally unfold and move forward into it. So there's ways to move forward through it easier, like I said, you know, enjoying what you do, lighting yourself up, feeling the emotions that come up that are trying to teach you. We don't have to do a million things to try to find what our shadows are. We are seeing, we are shown them every single day. How we have triggers, what's triggering us, what we're avoiding, how we're procrastinating, etc. The void gives you that time to explore what's going on inside of you and look at it as a third-party observer. Huh, that's interesting. That's interesting. I reacted like that and wonder why. And 90% of healing is awareness. So once you have that awareness, your body, soul, mind start to naturally move you forward into this next era. They're your body, your soul, your guides, God, the universe, whatever you believe in, is like, oh my gosh, yes. Okay, they got it. She gets it. She gets it that this is something she's been hanging on in this void, this space where there's nothing else going on. She's releasing control, not trying to fill up time and space with to-do lists and busy work. She understands she has this shadow. And now we're gonna help her integrate it to get to the next side. We're gonna help her to open it. Maybe, maybe once you have that awareness, someone tells you about this new healing modality they've been doing or this new type of therapist they're doing working with, a hypnotherapist, a regular EMDR, whatever it is. You can and you get this little like, oh, like spark inside of you, like, hmm, okay, I'm gonna look at that. And this void is also the time where we can really get to know our intuition, really get to know our intuition if we're not filling our day with countless things to do and laundry lists and busy work, we can listen to our intuition. Do you listen to it just being quiet, meditating, to going on a walk, yoga, relaxing, being near water, being in nature, going on a force bathing walk. Countless ways you can tap into your intuition. Embracing the void. And when people talk about quantum leaping, that's getting out of the void quickly. That means you are stepping into that energy of what you already want and open to heal that void quicker. So let's say this woman, the project manager, she wants to become a director of operations. She's she's applying, she's this, she's that, she's in this void. She's like, oh, I don't know. Like everything feels like I'm being rejected and I'm not getting these jobs and I'm doing everything that I'm being told to do and I'm applying and I'm adjusting my resume, my cover letter, you know, she's going through the robotic motions of the 3D matrix reality of how she thinks she should be getting a job. If she just takes a breath and lives in the void, listens to her intuition, she can get the ping of, oh, nope, act like you're the operations director already. Act like you just moved into a new town. And instead of being the girl that um would drop the tray at the cafeteria, now you're the popular girl and you're stepping into that essence because no one knows you here. That's the that's the reference my guides just gave me, that we can rebrand ourselves just by going into a new environment. But I don't know why they gave me that, but just FYI, take that as you will. So when you quantum leap, you're in the void, you understand being uncomfortable, you're listening to your intuition, and then you get the, okay, I'm moving forward. So, with that, this girl who's the PM who wants to become the director of operations, she decides to move forward as a director of operations. She rebrands her whole resume for that. She starts to go um meeting people and networking. She starts to record herself and write blogs about operations. She starts to do these things that seem like they're not actually on paper giving her money, but they're lighting her up. She's getting these ideas, like, I don't know why, but I'm supposed to like podcast about operations. Should I start doing that? So she starts doing it. She starts doing these different things. And I have goosebumps now. And it's moving her into this energy of already being that person, already being the operations person before she knows that she's getting all these different deals and things like that to work with her on her podcasts as an expert in operations. So instead of being a director of operations at a company, which she also gets offers for, she's starting to build around and interview people about operations and how do you do it and what do you do and what's coming up with this and that, all because she allowed herself to open up that void. And then the universe, God, had an idea greater than what she could think of because we can only see in our 360 where we are here. And the universe puts together all the puzzle pieces to help us align into our reality that we can't even see. So she thought she's going to move$10,000 more in her pay and become an operations manager. And she thought that could give her a little, a little more leeway in her bills. But instead, she's she grew and she grew and she kept stepping into that quantum leaping is stepping into the energy that feels very uncomfortable. So that's stepping into the void, enjoying the void, being there and listening to your intuition and being okay in that space that feels uncomfortable in your skin to learn and heal and have awareness. And making the forward action that is aligned action to get you into that next level that feels uncomfortable. Maybe it's something you've been procrastinating for three years. Maybe for three years, she's been thinking, I really want to be a writer. I have it on my, I have it on my manifestation list that I'm gonna write a book every year, every January. Write my book, write my book, write my book. Never does it. Now, quantum leaping is I'm fucking writing the book. I'm writing the book. Every day I'm writing a little bit, or when I'm inspired, I'm writing it. And that energy, even though at that moment we're so attached to money coming in with our action. That's not how it works. Money comes to us when we live in our essence and we're happy and we're we're in an energy of attraction. And she's in an energy of attraction doing the things she's been procrastinating. So think of yourself: if you're in the void, you want to feel the void. You don't want to create busy work for yourself just to try to do action to bring things in. You want to be uncomfortable with the energy and the emotions that are coming up. So you can be the 360 observer and heal. You want to take the aligned action as it comes up to quantum leap. And you want to look at where you have been procrastinating. The thing you are avoiding is the thing that gets you to your next level. So why do you keep avoiding it and staying in mediocrity and staying in the area that you truly don't even like anymore? You know you've outgrown it and you're shrinking yourself to stay in this small pond. You're meant to drill, like grow and jump into this huge, huge lake. And it might feel uncomfortable, but how can you switch your perspective of that uncomfortable feeling to be invigorating and to be lighting you up rather than being small? You're not meant to be small. You're meant to grow and catapult and move and get those things off your to-do list. Those procrastination, I'm saying, not the busy work. The I wanted to write a book. I haven't written a book. I wanted to learn about um regenerative farming. I just keep, I keep wanting to, and I don't do it. I and there's all these things you might look at it and see it as a hurdle because it's it's a has a cost. I promise you, you can find a way to learn these things without the cost to start, just to get your energy moving towards the thing you've been procrastinating and that carries you forward. God carries you forward into your next era of who you are becoming because you're showing, okay, I'm I'm done with this mediocrity. I'm done with where I'm at now. I know that I'm tired of it. And I want to learn regenerative farming. I don't have the money to do these courses I'm finding online for$3,000,$5,000. But I found this XYZ. I found a regenerative regenerative farm that's an hour and a half away. I'm going to start going to for their farmers' markets and meeting people, like things like that that you can do that are free for the thing that you might be procrastinating. The void is a beautiful, beautiful time. And it gets a bad rip because it's this uncomfortable feeling and oh, I should be manifesting, manifesting, moving forward, everything. No, there this energy is settling, softening, listening to yourself. You are allowed to rest too. You're allowed to rest. Do the things you love, but rest. You have permission. We are giving you permission to rest. Rest. Take time off. Do the things that make you feel relaxed and safe, easy breezy without feeling guilty and without feeling you have to explain it to anyone. And you don't have to tell everyone what you're doing. You don't have to tell people you're resting. Just rest. Because if it if it clenches your nervous system to have to explain to someone why you are resting, it's not serving you. Start to feel comfortable resting, and then you can tell people when you're strong in your foundation that you are doing that. So the void. Enjoy the space in between selves, in between timelines, in between the realities. You have guides, you can meditate, you can ask questions, you can free write, learn in this time. You can simply close your eyes and ask guides. What am I meant to learn during this uncomfortable time that I'm in? Sit there and listen for the answer or ask it before you go to sleep, see what comes to you, or write out the answer and free write. Just start journaling and say, guides, thank you of the highest truth and compassion for writing through me. My question today is what am I meant to learn in this void that's feeling very uncomfortable? And just start writing, let whatever comes off the pen. You might write, this is stupid, I don't know what to write. You might write other things and then just let it flow. Let the answers come to you. So enjoy. Enjoy the void. Enjoy the peace. And know that this is part of how things integrate. We can't jump from thing to thing to thing. We need to have that integration so our body, mind, and spirit can catch up. Just like in yoga, shavasana, you're not meant to finish your practice and jump up and go put on your shoes and your coat and leave. The most important part of your yoga practice, if you practice yoga, is shavasana. Because in Western society, we are trained that we're supposed to go from thing to thing, but your body needs time to integrate. So at this time, when you do shivasana, your mind, body, spirit are integrating before you do anything, even talking to someone, even taking a step. And it is the reason why your practice is so powerful. Mind powerful, body powerful, leaving with a new yoga body, soul powerful feeling that connection. So if you do yoga, don't skip shavasana. Whether it's 30 seconds or 30 minutes, it's what's needed to balance yourself out and integrate everything. And it gives you that mental clarity. Whether it's then or a time in the future where you'll have these downloads. But that's just a parallel to what the void is. Enjoy the integration. Enjoy this time. Just be and know that the void is not forever. Because when you integrate, when you listen to your intuition, when you allow for that space, when you follow intuitive guidance and that aligned action, do the things you love. You'll wake up and realize you're on a totally different timeline. And how beautiful is that. Sending you love, sending you peace, sending you peace in the void. We love you all.
