Your body has been keeping score and your breath is one of the fastest ways to change the signal. Lizzy sits down with Tabetha DeBruyn, a transformational breathmaster and one of the few certified 9D somatic breathwork practitioners in the world, to unpack why “just take a deep breath” is not fluff when you know how to do it with intention and timing. If you’ve been living in stress mode, cycling through anxiety, insomnia, or burnout, this is a grounded place to start.

We talk through what’s actually happening in the nervous system during somatic breathwork, including why nasal breathing matters, how a longer exhale supports vagus nerve regulation, and why feeling safe in your body can bring your mind back online. Tabetha shares how regulation can shift you out of reaction and into a calmer, clearer state where decisions, boundaries, and relationships start to change without forcing it.

Then we go deeper into what makes 9D breathwork different: immersive soundscapes, music, binaural beats, and hypnotic-style repetition designed to help quiet rumination and support subconscious reprogramming. We also name the real ways people numb out today, from doom scrolling and Netflix binging to substances and other loops, and how breathwork can help release guilt and shame so you can choose differently. We close with surrender, spiritual connection (without getting stuck in religious fear), and what “coming home to yourself” can look like in everyday life.

We are here to help you connect, expand, and come home to yourself. Let's elevate mind, body, and spirit together. And now on to today's episode.

A Gentle Breath To Arrive

SPEAKER_01

Hello everyone. Lizzie here. Welcome back to the Modern Zen Collective podcast. Today's episode is an invitation to slow down, to soften, and to reconnect with something that's always been with you. Your breath. So before we dive into today's episode, I want to invite you into a moment of presence. So get comfortable. And now take a deep breath in through your nose, allowing your belly to expand, your chest to expand, your shoulders to lift. And now slowly exhale out of your mouth, allowing your shoulders to drop, your chest to fall, your belly to pull in. And again, another deep breath in through the nose. And a nice slow exhale through the mouth. Just allowing your body to arrive here in this moment. So often we move through life disconnected from our bodies, holding stress, emotions, and experiences without even realizing it. But the breath has this incredible ability to bring us back, to regulate, to release, and to create real, lasting transformation from within. In this conversation, I'm joined by Tabitha DeBron, a transformational breathmaster and one of the only few certified 9D somatic breathwork practitioners in the whole world. Her work blends neuroscience and energetics to guide people through deeply immersive breathwork journeys that support healing on a mental, physical, and emotional level. This episode is both grounding and expansive. We talk about the science behind breath work, what's actually happening in the body during these experiences, and how this work can unlock stored emotions, regulate the nervous system, and help you come home to yourself. So wherever you are, I invite you to take another deep breath, soften your body, and settle into this incredible conversation. So let's dive in. Welcome

Tabitha’s Road To Breathwork

SPEAKER_01

everyone, and welcome Tabitha. I am so excited to have you on the podcast today. First of all, your website is beautiful, so it makes it really easy to get to know you and what kinds of services and different kinds of experience you have. But I'd love for you to start us off by sharing us a little bit about who you are and the work you're here to do in the world today.

SPEAKER_02

Thank you so much for having me. So I'm Tabitha De Brun. I live in Ontario, Canada, in a beautiful little microclimate called Niagara on the Lake. And I am a transformational breathmaster. What that means is I teach people simple breath patterns to change the state in the body first and the state in the mind. And if people want to go even deeper, they can go into the subconscious mind where we hold so much of our brain power, whether that be untangling what no longer serves us and letting that go, keeping the wisdom and moving forward, or planting in new powerful beliefs to be able to optimize and in all areas in life. But it's been a winding journey. I was a high school teacher for 15 years, loved teaching, loved empowering students to enjoy education and know how they are absolutely capable of doing whatever it is they really want in life. And while I was teaching, I've been blessed with two kids. They're now all grown up and they've flown the coupe. They're now 26 and 23. I've been married for 30 years. We've been together 34. I figure it's like my seventh marriage within the marriage because we can continue to grow and evolve. But I knew as a teacher, as much as I loved education, I had a desire for a big life. And my salary was capped. So I got into entrepreneurship and built that alongside teaching. And it's always been in health and wellness, which is definitely a passion of mine. And that really blew up. I built an international online health and wellness business. So I chose to leave the classroom to be able to really enjoy time with my family and explore the world. I did some homeschooling with them. We've done mission work and I got into transformational coaching, empowering other people to live a life of full joy and alignment. And while I was doing that, I was coming up against these incredible people with massive dreams and such capabilities, but so many limiting beliefs. I'm currently a doctoral candidate and specializing in how 9D breath work, which I'll share with you, can really be used to, in a rapid way, help people mitigate anxiety, stress, and burnout. But while I was working with these incredible people and talk therapy and using the psychology, I realized we were still coming up against these limiting beliefs. So I went back to school. I am a curious cat and became a rapid transformational hypnotic therapist. So I could work with the subconscious mind. In the meantime, while raising the family and building these businesses, I was also a primary caregiver for my mom. She became suddenly ill at 58 years old. And it was a shock to all of us. We were called in, we didn't think we were going to have much time with her. It created PTSD and anxiety in my extended family. As somebody who had a lot of tools in her toolkit and the flexibility with entrepreneurship, I was able to take on that role to help her. And we had 10 amazing years, not easy years, but amazing extra years together. And when she passed at 68 years old, I knew I would grieve and I knew it would be hard and I would miss her. But what I wasn't prepared for was the fact that I was struggling with functional depression. I was having anxiety and panic attacks and insomnia. And that's when I found somatic breath work. When the student's ready, the teacher comes, and I now realize I had to feel the depths of burnout and anxiety and how absolutely disabling insomnia can be. And then to see on the other side what conscious, connected somatic breath work could do for people in a way that wasn't pharmaceuticals, but could help with the healing. And after my first 90-minute session, I felt such peace, such joy again. I knew I was allowed to feel joy again and such gratitude and understanding that this is a calling. And for that reason, I spend, and thanks to you, the rest of my days helping other people realize how powerful somatic breath work can be.

SPEAKER_01

Wow. What a winding road. Isn't it so interesting how life just takes us down these different paths, presents us with these different challenges, obstacles, opportunities for growth. And it's really cool how you were able to find these different things as you needed them. And you've experienced yourself as the person who needed the teacher to help them. And so you know exactly what your clients are going through on the other side. That's that's so incredible because it really allows you to be such a better guide for people when you know exactly what they're feeling. I'm curious why breath is such a powerful entry point for transformation compared to some other modalities.

Why Breath Beats Mind-Only Tools

SPEAKER_02

So I really enjoy all of the modalities, but why is breath so powerful? I was trying to help people through the mind solve the problems, but you can't solve the problems in the same energy that the problem was created. And what I have learned that breath does is it changes the physiology, it changes the state, and then it allows for more clarity in the mind. And if we want to not only use the conscious mind, it also helps us use the subconscious mind to get past what may have been programmed and actually isn't serving us to move forward and reprogram in order to optimize in a whole new area. People will say, you know, in one session, it's like I've integrated 10 years of therapy, but it's because the state in the body has changed, the state in the mind has changed, your perspective, the lens in which you are looking at life through has changed, your vibration, your energetics have changed. So it really is very, very powerful.

SPEAKER_01

Yes. So I actually am a uh did a yoga breathwork coach training after my yoga teacher training, but it was very scientific based instead of more in the yogic philosophy. And I know you're trained in both neuroscience and the energetics of the breath. So I'm super curious if you could break down for our listeners like what's actually happening in the body during this breath work session.

SPEAKER_02

Oh, I

Vagus Nerve And Fast Regulation

SPEAKER_02

love that. I I do believe both of our work it connects. It's like a bridge between the energetics and the science, the neuroscience, but also the physiology of the body. So, what I'd love to do is have this be an experience for your listeners because most people, unbeknownst to them, are living in the familiar of chronic fatigue in that uh fight flight freeze in the sympathetic nervous system. And I'd love for us to just take a breath together and move us out of that and into the parasympathetic nervous system where you're in that rest, digest, and heal. And then I'll explain what's actually happening in the physiology of the body and the neuroscience of the brain. But it's just so much better if we can experience yes. Let's do it. A lot of people, when they're breathing, just because we are in a society where we're always on the go, you're breathing in and out through the mouth, quite shallow, and you don't even realize it. But what we want to do is not be there all of the time. It's great for creativity, it's great for motivation, it's great for activation, but you want to start to do it consciously. So I'd love for us all to take a deep breath, and I'll count us in in through the nose, because you're not breathing nasal is your first line of defense against any of the bacteria because it's it filtrates the air coming into the body and it also slows things down. So, what we're gonna do is we're gonna take a deep breath in through the nose, and it takes a bit of practice, but I want you to actually expand the belly like you're breathing the air in and inflating a balloon. I like to help have people put their uh hands on their belly so they can really focus on that area. So I'll have us do this together in three, two, one. Take a deep breath in through the nose, right into the belly. Now we're gonna breathe out longer on the exhale, like you're breathing through a straw, kind of creating a vibration through the mouth. And the more of those you do, the more the expansion will happen, and the longer the exhale will happen. But if we can help people, a breathe through the nose, take the time to breathe deeply into the belly and elongate the exhale. Ideally, if they have the chance to breathe like they're breathing through a straw, it creates this vibration that stimulates the vagus nerve. The vagus nerve indicates to the body, I'm safe, I'm safe. And the longer exhale helps us go into that rest, digest, and heal. But what else happened, even with a couple of those breaths, is the heart rate went down, the blood pressure went down, and what I find super fascinating is you have more blood flow to the prefrontal cortex. So your brain is actually going to be clearer, be sharper, be more focused, and people have a chance to move from a reaction state to an aligned responding state. So it can be like a superpower. And not only that, when you're regulated, people mirror your regulation. So if you are calm and you are aligned and you are responding rather than simply getting to the next job and the next thought and the next statement in reaction, well, people also feel more aligned and they feel seen, heard, and felt, which is what humans need today, I think.

SPEAKER_01

Yes. We have been lacking connection, you know, for a while now. And inviting that back in by just showing up as an aligned, safe, caring person, you know, that's just their being authentically themselves is really such an incredible thing to allow other people the permission, you know, the permission to be able to do that for themselves. It's so crazy we need permission, but it's it's a word that comes up, I feel like a lot when you're doing this deep work is like permission, you need to give yourself permission. You know, it's I don't even know where that comes from, honestly.

SPEAKER_02

Yes. And we are in society, like there's so many distractions and our energy is is kind of sucked from us in so many ways, and with with uh pain points and negative bias, like they're I think becoming consciously aware that you don't need permission to feel safe in your body, it's your birthright. But the passions like this, and then knowing how, okay, that sounds great in my mind, but my body's not there yet. Knowing a deep breath in through the nose, into the belly, longer on the exhale in order to regulate, takes you out of the familiar of that fight, flight freeze, just go, go, go, and brings you back into alignment. And a lot of people, when they when they do this and all of a sudden they feel safe in the body, they are so stuck. The ego kind of pulls us back to no, we should be go, go, go, where we feel we're lazy, we're not productive. In fact, sometimes you gotta slow down in order to speed up and really fully enjoy life.

SPEAKER_01

Yes, I totally agree with you. I've experienced that myself, you know, as I've taken my spiritual journey and my journey into, you know, being the woman I am today, I have felt that pull back, you know, the pullback the into the hustle culture, into the go, go, go, into the productivity in a different way. Because I am, you can be very, very productive when you're in this relaxed space. Like you said, I think it's so interesting you mentioned how that you get more blood flow to your prefrontal cortex. It's that is so interesting. I'm really curious because I have never come across 9D somatic breath work before.

What 9D Breathwork Really Is

SPEAKER_01

And I know you're one of the few certified practitioners in the whole world. So I would love for you to share what exactly is 9D breath work, somatic breath work, and how is it different from traditional breath work practices?

SPEAKER_02

It's all my favorite things brought together. So I'm very passionate and excited about it because breath is the medicine. If you have not tried simply doing somatic breath work, I encourage you, like, know how powerful it can be to change how you feel in your body, how your mind is working, and how that subconscious mind can really be optimized to help you live a life you love in a body that feels really good. But beyond that, we use an intricate soundscape. I do most of my work is done all over the world online. I do have a studio as well here. Um, and I work with clinics as well. But we use headphones. When you work online, just earbuds are fine. But along with the breath pattern that is changing the physiology in the body, different ways. Uh, I teach different breath patterns to create different states to get different results. But along with the breath pattern, we are also using music. Music evokes emotion, and emotion connected with beliefs actually anchors them in so the reprogramming happens much quicker, but it also puts the body in homeostasis. We often use 432 Hertz in frequencies, which just you don't even have to think about it. Your ears are just having this like love poured over them, and the body reacts. We also use bineural beats. Bineural beats slow down the brain weight frequencies. So a lot of people in today's society, we're we're it's such a busy time and our mind is always ruminating. It's tricky for some to be able to quiet the mind. And I know this is something I've done for years and still struggle, and I'm always pulling it back to the breath, pulling it back to the breath. But with 9D, because I'm gonna call it the mind candy, the ear candy, the fact that I just drop in. I drop in without having to put as much focus on bringing it back to the breath. It sort of happens for me. And so there's an intricate soundscape. They call it 9D because breath is one dimension, but there are eight other dimensions that are being used. We use hypnotic scripting through repetition. We are reprogramming the subconscious mind. So what happens in a breath work session is very powerful, but because it continues to replay, that's why people continue to see the results over and over again and they expand. We also use uh neurolinguistic programming, you're guided the whole way through, and they we have short journeys and down-regulating journeys and then activating journeys that allow the body's wisdom to pull up what no longer needs to be there. We repress, suppress, shove things down, and what the body starts to do with all of these dimensions and modalities is it starts to uh allow the release of these tensions, the release of what you no longer need. And people see incredible results. Most people are like, wow, that was wild. You can't even put words to it because it's an experience, it's a feeling, but they almost always say, I feel so much lighter. I had no idea what I was holding on to, and yet you don't relive anything. And it's just like you're this detached witness, but you allow for new space, new growth uh and new expansion.

SPEAKER_01

Wow, that sounds so powerful.

Choosing Journeys And Custom Support

SPEAKER_01

Sounds so powerful. I'm curious about these sessions. Are you using, are you pre-programming the kinds of subliminals that are playing in the background based off of the person that is coming to you for the session? Are you asking them to record them in their own voice? I'm like curious how this works. Like, do you have like plug-and-play ones that work for different kinds of people? How does this work?

SPEAKER_02

So with 9D, I have an entire library. My most popular journey is called letting go. And it's broad enough, because we as humans have patterns, it's broad enough that it works. But because you've got it in your ears and uh the questions are being asked, but you're the one answering. So uh, but I have an entire library. It depends what people are looking for. Some people come for breathing through grief and loss. A lot of people come to me because that's how I found it. Letting go, letting go of what no longer serves you, whether it's a relationship, an identity, you. Guilt, shame, we it works for just about anyone. Some people it's cellular regeneration. Some people it's letting go of big T trauma. And I am trauma informed. I always offer a complimentary discovery calls so people can ask the questions. I can get to know them. I can guide them to which journey I think would be best. And uh because I'm also certified through Breathmasters, not only do I have the 9D library, I curate for corporations, for individuals, and create recordings that they can have for a lifetime to build on the healing because it's as an onion, we continue to peel it back.

SPEAKER_01

I love that. I love that, especially that you have both the library and you curate special ones for people because they're both needed. Like you said, we all have these patterns that we go through in life, these cycles that were they might look different on the outside, but they have the same kind of feelings or the same base. And then we all also have our own individual things that maybe take a little bit more to get into. So I I really love that you offer both of

Transformations Clients Don’t Expect

SPEAKER_01

them. I'm really curious, what are some of the most powerful transformations that you've witnessed in your clients?

SPEAKER_02

Oh my goodness. A lot of people come. I wish they would come and say, Tab, I want even greater vitality and I want to take my life to that next level. But a lot of people come when there is a pain point, when they feel stuck, when they are in uh addiction loops, when they are in in depression and the depths of grief. I have had people who come in in the discovery call, they can't even start to get the words out. But what I hope you can already feel, even in just listening, is I've been there. There is no judgment. I believe that this is the most powerful modality I've ever come across in order to heal. So if you and I have come across each other, there's such unconditional love. I'm gonna hold space, I'm gonna be the mirror for you until you can see you the way you really want to see you. And uh before long, because I do also work on an intuitive level within that discovery call, because I change the state in the body with breath patterns immediately. Then when they can feel the love and they can take the mask down, before long, people immediately start to realize, oh, I am safe and I can do this. So I have had people who start with not even being able to put a sentence together, severely addicted to numbing themselves out, because there's always a reason to hating their job, really not happy in their relationships, to within a couple of sessions saying, I love life, I'm hopeful, I and with great clarity and articulation. And uh some have let go of relationships because they now have the courage, the self-love to know that they can set that boundary in a loving way. And uh people come in for a reason, a seasonal lifetime, and they've got the clarity and the confidence to take action where it's needed, and others have completely transformed their relationships because they're regulated. They're they let go of the shame and the guilt and what has happened in the past, and this is like the first moment of the rest of their life. So the transformations have I've worked with kids who have been uh struggling with bullying, lack of confidence, anxiety paralyzed, not wanting to go to school to thriving in school. I've had many teenagers who have anxiety and depression and panic attacks, and not having the confidence to do extracurriculars or even be in social situations where they actually enjoy and are teaching others some of these tools. I've had many men and women who have just not been happy in life, redirect their life and know that it's okay what has happened, it's all happened for them and moving forward in greater vitality, greater health. A lot of people come to me and they may not come because they want to lose weight. With breath work, when you let go of what you've been holding on to and you make space for what's new, and not only that, you are in activation with breath work, you're burning a lot of calories, but all of a sudden you have greater energy, you've got more clarity, and you have the desire to take action to get the results you really want. So people have opened up money portals because they realize they're worthy of it and they can and they take action. It's not about just doing the breath work and having these things manifest and drop in your lap. It's about having the energy, the capacity, the clarity to take action and the courage to be able to do it because they know they're worthy. Transformations have been extraordinary. That's incredible.

SPEAKER_01

What a special thing to be able to offer people this day and age. Because it can be so hard, and people can get stuck on the hamster wheel of reliving these things in their mind instead of using the whole body to process and release. I think that's so incredible. I'm curious what kind of results have surprised people the most? Like, what have your clients been like, oh my gosh, I didn't know this was gonna happen because of this, you know?

Non-Ordinary States And Grief Healing

SPEAKER_02

Well, when you get into the active breath work, you can move into if they desire to, and this is with a guided facilitator, trusted facilitator, people can move into what I call non-ordinary states because they've gone from the beta in their mind, the conscious mind, into alpha where they're more suggestible, into theta, where they tap into areas of their spirituality, their connection to maybe loved ones that they didn't know was possible. Because when we can quiet the mind and trust in the body and allow for that to happen, because I do work with a lot of people who have lost loved ones and perhaps had a conversation that they wish they had have had before the person has crossed over. I've had people, uh I'm thinking of one girl, she said, I I had a full conversation with my brother. We said all the things we needed to say and never got a chance to say. And I am so in love with our relationship right now. Of course, that one surprises me. I've had people connect with their higher self and be able to say, you know what, this is a decision I'd really been struggling with. And now I have clarity. I know this is what I need to do, whether it be moving out of a relationship or into a new career field, but just knowing that they're capable of it, those would be two that that always surprise me. I love that.

SPEAKER_01

My um co-host Nikki on the podcast, she is very into channeling and very into connecting with those who have passed. And she lost her parents at a really young age. And so she's able to have those conversations with them. And I know that she's gotten so much peace from being able to tap into that part of herself that's able to connect. So I can only imagine what kind of peace the people that come to you that have really experienced such loss and such grief are able to have when they can have those conversations afterwards. It's incredible.

SPEAKER_02

Really special.

Numbing Out And Addiction Loops

SPEAKER_02

In today's day and age, I I am noticing when people are struggling with burnout, depression, overwhelm, and there's this tendency to numb out. And addictions and addiction loops are are they're just so prevalent, whether it's shopping, Netflix, doom scrolling, alcohol, drugs, pornography, gambling, gaming. Like this is the norm. And I have helped so many people realize, you know what? Let's let go of the guilt, let's go let go of the shame and make room for a new way of living. So you don't have to numb out. So you realize that you can live differently. And I have extraordinary results with so many people who have just said, you gave me my life back. I didn't. We just tapped into the life force within you to make different choices.

SPEAKER_01

That's so powerful. I can see in myself some different ways that I do numb out at times, um, as well as in the people around me. So I could see how when you get into that like Netflix binge state, you know, how it can be like all-consuming and it can be very hard to get out of that. And I think sometimes we don't equate some of the things that you mentioned as like ways to numb out as us numbing out. I think we typically just think of alcohol and drugs as the things that take us out of our body, out of our mind, and numb us out. But it is all these other things, like you said, like the doom scrolling, like the Netflix spinging, like the gaming. I mean, I've seen that with people as I've grown up, you know, uh, more so men than women, but same thing. And it's it's interesting to kind of have a different perspective on the time that we put into those things and what are we trying to get from that? Are we trying to numb out? Is that why we're doing those things? So I love that you brought up these different things because it makes me think a little bit differently about some of the things that I do in my life as well.

SPEAKER_02

And awareness is the first step to transformation. I I hope you can feel there's so much love for it because I respect when people go, oh, wait a minute, maybe that's not serving me. Oh, I'm now aware, that's why I do it. Okay, so now that I have the awareness, I I can make a different choice. But changing the state in the body and letting go of any guilt and shame that you might be holding in the subconscious because of it, that's why somatic breath work can be a real tool to help people move into like the next level of their life.

SPEAKER_01

I love

Misconceptions About Breathwork And Faith

SPEAKER_01

that. Are there any misconceptions about breath work that you feel like you would like to speak to or clear up for people who are maybe new to it?

SPEAKER_02

Some people connect breath and uh religion. And I I would say anybody who has a faith, whatever faith that is, this is just going to amplify it. And if you don't have a faith, this is physiology changing and neuroscience. And the words that you speak over yourself are going to program the reticular activating system in the brain to create the kind of belief systems that are going to work for you. So please don't get caught in, well, is this against my religion? No, this is going to amplify your religion. And if you are a spiritual being, this is going to amplify your desires within that. But if you don't have a belief system, let's go to the science of it and understand that this very much can be for you as well. And the other would be, well, I breathe all the time. Why do I need a breathmaster? Why do I need a coach to teach me how to breathe? And what a lot of people just don't realize is your breath can be your superpower. I can show you how to use your breath, and it's going to be better than having a cup of coffee to uh activate, to, to change your state, to have a clearer mind. Uh, and if you are using something to calm yourself down, that's a substance that's a chemical that you're bringing into the body, I can show you how your breath can do that differently. So knowing how to consciously breathe, to create the result in your body and your mind that you're actually wanting, I think that's really, really powerful. So it's more than simply part of the automated nervous system. Let's automate it to actually work for us.

SPEAKER_01

I love that. I love that. I I really like that you brought in two things that I hear all the time. And I think it is very important. People get so hung up on this religion thing, and it's like, that's not what it's about. It's not what it's about. And I love that you said it will amplify whatever you you believe in. Because it's true, when you get more connected to yourself, you get more connected to that divinity within and the divinity all around. It's it's incredible. I love that

Surrender And Coming Home To Yourself

SPEAKER_01

so much. How does I'm I'm really curious, have you been able to see this help people reconnect with that inner divinity, with that intuition, or with their their purpose, their dharma, their divine purpose here on this life in this lifetime? All of the above.

SPEAKER_02

I know this sounds so lofty, but thank you for asking the question and opening this door because I do want to demystify breathworks from a science perspective, but also from a spiritual perspective, what is possible? I have had several people say, you know, I'm not sure exactly where I went, but I had a conversation with God. I had no idea how I was holding myself back, but now this is what I'm meant to do. Such greater space. And when you reset your nervous system scientifically, like the energy around you is different, which means you're going to attract different. When your vitality is greater, your standards become different. How you see yourself becomes different, and the opportunities that are around you and that you attract are absolutely different. This is why people will say, like, it's like magic tap. My life is totally different. And I can say it feels like magic. It's actually neuroscience.

SPEAKER_01

I love that. I love that so much. I feel like the things that I've been hearing you say as well are also allowing people to get more comfortable with the unknown. You know, what I feel so often in this day and age we have to know how we how things happen, why things do this, why, what is, what is the stuff that's happening behind the scenes to make me get Z, you know, and I feel like what you've spoken about has really made me feel like the people that are your clients are getting more on more comfortable with the unknown and with the curiosity and the co-creation that happens on this earth, like for us to live that life full of joy and full of purpose.

SPEAKER_02

That's so insightful. Thank you very much for addressing this. And this is why, this is why I do a complimentary discovery call. Having a trusted facilitator, like you are in full control. This isn't something to be afraid of. But in order to let those walls down and move into, as you mentioned, this uncertain territory that's uncomfortable for people, but it's the only way to transform and evolve and grow. So having a trusted facilitator to be able to make sure you feel safe, let you know what you might experience, set intentions that truly work for you, and then deeply integrate so that you are optimizing everything that you wanted to get out of the session, it is really, really important.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah. I love that. Is I'm curious, what role does surrender play in this process with you, in this breath work journey?

SPEAKER_02

Well, we tend to want to control. And if you don't surrender into the process, but trusting you're safe and that this is going to be in your highest and best good, you'll stay the same. You in order to evolve, you must surrender what you already know. Your ego is going to fight you. It's that's why the mind candy of 9D breath work is so powerful. That's why having that trusted facilitator guiding you over and over to push you to the edge, to know you're safe so you can go that little bit further. Yeah, it's it you have to move. If you keep doing what you're doing, you're keep you'll keep getting what you're getting. It's that whole definition of insanity. So, but knowing you're safe and that it's scientifically backed, and that you can surrender into the process because there's going to be that person there to support you on the other side. Yeah, it helps people move into the next level of joy, vitality, ease, flow, and possibility.

SPEAKER_01

I love that. It's so it has become a more rare thing in this world to have someone to hold such a safe, non-judgmental space for you to be able to be honest and truthful with what's happening inside of you. And it's uh it's very wonderful that you have dedicated yourself to something like this and are putting yourself out there in a lot of different ways so that people can find you and find your work and find your type of healing if they're looking for it. That's very powerful and it's it's important, it's very important for you to be seen so that other people can find you. So I'm so happy that you you came on today to share all about this because your work is so powerful. And when you change one person, the ripple effect is infinite. It's absolutely insane.

SPEAKER_02

Well, this is sacred work. I do believe it's a calling. I do believe my journey needed to be as windy as it was so that I can authentically hold space

How To Find Tabitha And Start

SPEAKER_02

for people. And I I hope if any of this resonates with your listeners, that they go to tabitha.online. Go to my website. If you sign up for my newsletter, you're going to get a few freebies. I do a seven-minute cinematic trailer of 9D. So you experience all of the different layers. You meet the founder of 9D in this little recording, but then there's a five-minute reset. You can use that for you, you can use that for your family. It'll it'll make an enormous difference, but it'll have you actually feel even what a little tiny experience can feel like. And then I've got a seven-minute morning routine that they can get. The other thing is I'm active on Instagram and Facebook. Come into my DMs. I'd love to chat with you. If there's something that you're looking for, a tip, a tool, that's how I curate my content. I would love to get to know your listeners if they are at all curious about what I have to offer on Instagram.

SPEAKER_01

Tap at that. I'll make sure that I link all your Instagram, your Facebook, your website, everything in the show notes so that people have a really easy way to get from here to you. So we'll make sure to do that 100%. I think the one thing that I'd really like to finish with with you is what does coming home to yourself mean to you through this work? I'm sorry, you put it out. I I could you repeat the question? Oh, I'm so sorry. Yes, I said, what does coming home to yourself mean to you through this work?

SPEAKER_02

I am whole, perfect, and complete as I am. And an absolute exquisite work in progress all at the same time. Everything has unfolded for you. I'm not saying it's easy and I can help you hold that, but it has happened for you, not to you. So just know you're worthy of living in a body that feels good, a mind that feels clear, and living a life that is something you're excited to get up for. That's what coming home to self means to me.

SPEAKER_01

I love that so much. I feel that too. I absolutely feel that from you. So thank you so much for being yourself, for showing up authentically, for showing up for your calling so that everyone else can heal and live a life from joy, from alignment, from connection, from inspiration, from purpose, from passion, and able to get that full mind, body, spirit connection. So, so rare these days. So thank you so much, Tabitha. I really, really, really appreciate your time, your energy, and just sitting down for this conversation with me to help help those people that listen to us really get a feel for what else is out there for them.

SPEAKER_02

It's been such a joy to be able to share with you today. Thank you.

SPEAKER_01
