Cyrille Aimee
Cyrille Aimée’s music transcends art, becoming a way of life. Raised in a multilingual home with Afro-Caribbean rhythms, she grew up in Samois-sur-Seine, home of the Django Reinhardt Festival, where she was inspired by jazz. At 20, Cyrille had already lived on four continents, including New York, where she studied and performed in jazz clubs. Her remarkable talent earned her the Sarah Vaughan International Jazz Vocal Competition's First Prize.
Her career soared with a contract from Mack Avenue Records, leading to two acclaimed albums. Stephen Sondheim invited her to perform with Bernadette Peters in 2013, earning rave reviews. Her 2019 album Move On garnered a Grammy nomination. In 2020, her collaboration with Emmet Cohen on YouTube reached over 6 million views.
In 2017, Cyrille moved to New Orleans, deepening her creative roots. Her latest album, à Fleur de Peau, blends jazz, pop, and Caribbean rhythms, marking a new chapter in her musical journey.
