#3: Disordered Eating, Not an Eating Disorder: My Journey to a Healthy Relationship with Food
In this third episode, we’re talking about a topic that’s not really black and white but impacts way too many of us: disordered eating. You’ve probably heard a lot about eating disorders, but sometimes, there’s a grey area where unhealthy food behaviors don’t quite "qualify" as an eating disorder — and that’s exactly where I found myself. From obsessively logging every bite in high school as a 14-year-old, to binging food while trying to 'stay fit,' my relationship with food was a rocky one for way too long.
During this yappin session, I’ll share how I eventually broke free from these patterns, how I discovered balanced eating, and the reason I started sharing recipes over on Snackin. My goal is to help you recognize that you can redefine what "healthy" looks like, learn to nourish yourself without the guilt, and find joy in food again.
