Case Newsom, DO is a practicing board-certified Emergency Medicine physician based in Denver, Colorado, who is at the forefront of merging modern medicine with compassionate harm reduction.
As the Medical Director for the EMS agency Stadium Medical, the state's leading special event medical agency, he oversees care at major venues like Red Rocks Amphitheatre, Ball Arena and Empower. He also serves as the Medical Director for the Zendo Project, where he has pioneered new medical triage protocols that integrate professional oversight with non-ordinary states peer support.
Beyond his work in the ED and special events, he has been a tireless advocate for drug policy reform. He played a key role in the grassroots movement for Denver’s 2019 psilocybin decriminalization initiative and continued that leadership through the successful 2022 statewide campaign for Proposition 122.
