WTF Is Human Design? The Cheat Code You Didn’t Know You Needed
Hey, it's Tracy. Okay, deep breath. This is a big one. And by the way, if you hear some soft purring in the background, that is my cat, Jade. I'm recording these episodes, messy, just doing it. So I've been waiting to record this episode for 23 weeks, not because I wasn't ready, but because I wanted it to be the right time.
I wanted you to be ready and I think you are. Today. I'm finally introducing you to something that completely changed the way I see myself, make decisions, run my business, parent, rest, all of it. It's called human design. Now before your brain tries to foul that away as, what the hell is that? Or, Nope, not for me.
Just stick with me. This isn't a lesson, it's not a masterclass. It's a conversation, and I'm going to tell you why it matters and why I think it might be the biggest permission slip. You never knew you need it. I found human design. At a time when I didn't even realize how hard I was trying to be someone else.
I thought I had to show up in the world as anyone but me. I had to have all the answers be an expert in every area of my life. Be bolder, more extroverted, more social, less emotional, more consistent, more focused, more logical, more strategic. Be braver, be a better this, be a better that. Basically everything I wasn't, or at least everything that was out of my comfort zone, I had to be everything.
But just being me, and for most of my life, I thought that many of these things were flaws. I'd say, oh, I'm just not wired that way with this tinge of shame. Like being different was something to fix. Then I found human design, or actually it found me. It found me, and I was so pulled to it. But at the time, this was back in 2020, I wasn't trusting myself the way I do now.
I needed external validation. I needed permission from others. But once I discovered my human design and more importantly, started to embody it to actually practically sleep, walk in it, make it a part of my every day, suddenly the things I'd been judging were actually the key to my power. And that's what human design does.
It hands you a mirror and says, here's who you are. Not the version of you that's polished or people pleasing or burned out, but the real you, who you were born to be before the world told you who you should be. It's like a map back to yourself. Your energy, your rhythm, your wisdom. We're all born with this original frequency.
Our highest gifts we're born complete. We're born whole. But then the world comes in and it slowly chips away at our self-worth. We start to adapt. Or perform or conform, just we get conditioned away from who we truly are and human design, it's a tool that lets you slowly start to remember who you were born to be.
So what is it? Well, the short version is human design. It's a synthesis of ancient wisdoms. Systems like Western astrology, the Chinese itching, the Hindu chakra system or chakra system, however you prefer to say it, and the Kabbalistic Tree of Life. And it's combined with modern science like quantum physics and bioenergetics.
Yeah, I know it's, it sounds like a lot, but here's what it actually gives you. It's a blueprint of how your energy works best. How you make decisions, how your energy interacts with others, how your body speaks to you, how to know what's right for you. Most of us have never been taught to listen to that.
We've been conditioned to override it, to follow strategies that work for someone else to push through, to keep up. But when you embrace and embody your chart. Your actual design. Something shifts. It's like your body says finally, and here's, here's something to consider. Wherever you are resisting your design, you're probably resisting the truth about yourself.
Just let that land for a second because that flaw you think you have. It might be the exact clue your body is using to beg you to pay attention. Some of us are built to move fast. Some of us are built to wait. Some of us have emotional waves. Some need quiet to find clarity. Some are here to respond. Some are meant to go to bed exhausted.
Some are not. You don't need to know what all of that means right now. Just know this. You are not broken. You don't need to be fixed. You don't need to be anyone else. You were designed this way for a reason, and when you live in alignment with that design, life gets so much easier. I resisted most of my chart early on.
It didn't resonate with me when I first heard about my human design, but the longer I sat with it and experimented with it and tried it on and, and opened my heart to it, so much clarity followed. So next week I'm sharing an episode where I was interviewed by La Sims, also known as Alex Sims. And we get deeper into all of this, we dive into her chart and hearing and seeing how much it resonated with her.
