The Second Act of Your Life: What It Could Be If You Let It

He said something that really just. Got me, and at first glance, this question might sound a little morbid, but if you just let yourself sit with it, I mean really sit with it, like feel into it. It might just shake up the way you move through the world and your life moving forward. Okay, so here's the story he shared.

Welcome to a Beautiful Fix. I'm Tracy Hill. Each week we'll dive into the latest thought, Jim recharging and reconnecting with what lights you up and makes you feel alive. Let's discover your next beautiful fix together.

Hey, real quick before we dive in, you're powerful and sometimes you just need someone to remind you what's already in you. That's what human design does. It's the difference between guessing and knowing so you can stop searching outside yourself and start trusting the answers within. I promise you, they're there.

Grab your free chart@abeautifulfix.com and when you're ready to go deeper, book a one-to-one session with me. Alright, let's get into the episode.

So last week in my Sunday Love note to my friends, also known as the Thought Gym that I send out every Sunday. It's just a simple reminder to pause, breathe, and choose your focus. And if you're not already on that list, what? What are we doing? What are we doing? Head over to a beautiful fix.com and let's fix that.

I started these thought gyms because when I was in corporate America, I used to get the Sunday scaries. Oh my gosh. Anticipating the week ahead, I would just get in my head and it was just a whole thing. So I thought I would love to send out a little love note on Sunday that just gives you, you know, something to maybe refocus your week a little bit.

Uh, something to make you feel good about the upcoming week. So anyway, that's there for you@abeautifulfix.com. Alright, enough of my plugs. In that thought, Jim, I mentioned that I had no idea what I was going to talk about this week, and I challenged all of us to sit with the unknown for a bit, to just not rush it to see what might unfold.

Well, something unfolded. I heard a thought Jim dropped by Rabbi David Aaron, so that's Kathy Heller spiritual mentor, and I couldn't not share it with you. I'm sure this isn't the first time you've heard me talk about Kathy Heller. I absolutely love her. She's one of my mentors, and you're gonna to hear that name a lot more.

But on this call, he said something that really just. Got me, and at first glance, this question might sound a little morbid, but if you just let yourself sit with it, I mean really sit with it, like feel into it. It might just shake up the way you move through the world and your life moving forward. Okay, so here's the story he shared.

When you die, stick with me. When you die, you find yourself. In a movie theater, it's a double feature. The first movie is how You Lived Your Life starring You, the second movie. It's how you could have lived your life also starring you. Hell is watching what could have been oof. Right. Let, let me, let me just, let me just go through that again.

When you die, you find yourself in a movie theater. It's a double feature. The first movie is how You Lived Your Life starring You, the second movie. It's how you could have lived your life also starring you, and Hell is watching what could have been.

I don't know about you, but I am not interested in an eternity of that kind of regret. So the real gym here is asking yourself, what would that second movie look like? And maybe you're thinking, I don't know, but I think you do. I think we all do. It's the version that we dream about. But maybe we don't say it out loud or, or we just brush it off.

It's the version that scares the crap out of you. It's the version. You try to quiet you. You try to hush it because it feels too big, too bold, too different from the life you've built so far. But sitting in that theater, watching that version slip by. That's way scarier, at least to me. I really had to sit with that one when he said it.

It's the kind of thing, you hear it, you jot it down. I walked away from it, thought about it more, shared it with my husband, just kept really thinking about and thought, I want to drop this one with you guys. I like things that make me think that, shake up my habitual kind of day-to-day thinking a little bit.

I, I just had to sit with what that version might be and ask myself some serious questions. Do I wanna ignore that image and carry on, or do I wanna contemplate what that second movie might look like a little bit? Do I wanna make some choices based on that North Star? I don't know. It seems like that can be a huge motivator if we let it be.

So this week, your invitation is simple. Spend a little time with that second movie. Have some fun with this concept. Take a walk and think about it. Journal, meditate. Talk it out loud with someone. Talk it out loud with yourself. Whatever just helps you get still enough to hear that quiet voice that knows exactly what's possible.

And if, and if you're up for it, DM me, email me, drop me a note and tell me what that second movie might look like. I love hearing from you. So listen, if you're listening to this, we all have the gift of life in this physical form. And the time that we have left, we get to write the script of our life, direct the movie, and most importantly, live it.

So until next time, keep getting high on life when beautiful. Fix at a time.
