Ep. 42 From Foreclosure to $1M in 9 Months: The Identity Shift That Changed Everything (with Shani Leatham)

A Beautiful Fix

[00:00:00] I went from, foreclosure to over a million dollars in less than nine months. In about nine months. Who? Um, I think we need to repeat that one. Yes. She said she went from foreclosure to over a million dollars in nine months. Correct. And I became an expert on myself.

And this is now what I teach.

Welcome to a Beautiful Fix. I'm Tracy Hill. Each week we'll dive into the latest thought, Jim recharging and reconnecting with what lights you up and makes you feel alive. Let's discover your next beautiful fix together.

Hey, real quick before we dive in, you're powerful and sometimes you just need someone to remind you what's already in you. That's what human design does. It's the difference between guessing and knowing so you can stop searching outside [00:01:00] yourself and start trusting the answers within. I promise you, they're there.

Grab your free chart@abeautifulfix.com and when you're ready to go deeper, book a one-to-one session with me. Alright, let's get into the episode.

So you've heard this saying, never make assumptions, right. We all know what happens when you assume Well, with my next guest, I completely messed up the most important thing to all of us, our name. I normally clarify the pronunciation of someone's name.

And I did that with her last name, but I just assumed that I knew how to pronounce her first name. Her name is Shannie. It's a beautiful name. But you're gonna hear me referred to her as Shawnee.

I've reached out and apologized to her. Part of this journey that I'm taking you all on is watching the messy unfold, being gentle with yourself, owning it, taking [00:02:00] accountability and learning.

That is the key to life is learning. There's nothing more important than your name. Lesson learned. So, you know, if we were drinking, I would say, drink. Every time you hear me mispronounce her name, but instead, instead just smile, laugh, and let this be, a little bit of a learning of we make mistakes.

Pick yourself up, dust yourself off, apologize , and then do better. Okay, let's get into it.

Welcome back everyone. My guest today is Shani Leatham. She is a transformation specialist and wealth manifestation mentor who helps women shift their relationship with money by working with energy. Belief and aligned action. Through her programs and content she blends nervous system awareness, mindset, mastery and practical wealth habits to guide .

Clients, from hustle and scarcity to ease, [00:03:00] clarity, and consistent receiving. Her work is rooted in lived experience, compassionate accountability, and the simple truth that money responds to who we are being. And for my human design listeners, Shani is a five one generator with sacral authority, which means she's here to follow what lights her up and teach from lived experience.

Her energy is built for mastery transformation and helping others find freedom inside life's limits. When she trusts that gut, yes, she becomes magnetic and her wisdom lands right when people need it the most. Her conscious son gets, sits in Gate 32, which is the gate of continuity. It gives her this intuitive sense of what's built to last and what isn't.

Whether that's an idea, a relationship, or an investment. She's someone who can see the difference between what's fleeting and what is staying [00:04:00] power, which makes so much sense given the work she does, helping people create lasting wealth and success, rooted in alignment and integrity. Shani, welcome to a beautiful Fix.

I'm so happy you're here. Thank you so much for having me on. I'm so grateful to be here. Honestly, I've been going through your podcast. I've gone down the rabbit hole and just episode after episode after episode, and I have to say that what I love about what you've created here, it's such a safe space for women, men as well, but women especially, to come and hear things that people don't generally talk about.

And it's, it's such a freeing space. Like I feel like I've known you forever. Like I'm sitting there and I'm like, yes, Tracy girl. Yes. Tell me more. Ooh, yes. This is a great guess. Oh my gosh, I didn't think of it this way. You encourage women to think differently and you encourage [00:05:00] women to be, be who they're supposed to be and just have permission to just go through life.

We're all going through things. Some things that nobody talks about our, our parents didn't tell us about, our moms didn't tell us about our grandparents, didn't tell us about, and you are literally writing the code and giving us all the keys through this podcast. So kudos to you. Thank you for having me on, and I cannot wait to get into what we're talking about today.

Shani, you are not gonna come on here and flirt with me like that and throw it, throw it right back at you. Oh my gosh. This is the love fest. First of all, um, for people that are listening on the podcast, my cat Jade is in love with Shawnee. She is taking over. She's, but. Shawnee right back at you. So I have been rabbit holing your content, and I was like, I have to stop liking it.

'cause she's gonna be like, I'm not coming at her podcast. She's, [00:06:00] she's stalking me at this point. I, so we're both generators in human design and we do what lights us up. We have this sacral, we can fill this full body. Yes. When we have energy for something. And you came across my for you page on TikTok and I was like, oh, this is gonna happen.

Um, I am, I normally, I don't reach out a whole lot to people. It's something that I'm starting to get better at, but a lot of times people just show up in my world and that's how they end up on the podcast. But I was like, I don't know Shawnee. But, um, we're gonna make this happen. So I love everything I've heard so far and I just want you to share all of your knowledge.

It's beautiful what you're doing. Thank you so much. But before we get into what it is that you're doing and where you are today, I would love it if you could just kind of take us back that origin story of what led you. To becoming a wealth transformation coach. Oh, buckle up baby. So it's interesting. Um, my background initially [00:07:00] was in corporate marketing.

So at a very young age, I rose to the top of my company. I was with a pharmacy retailer. I live in Canada and I was handling marketing nationwide. Did really, really, really well, very successful. Then we had our daughter, Jasmine and I could not work eight to eight anymore, you know, attached to the Blackberry.

Yeah, Blackberry. Um, attached to, right, attached to the Blackberry, the laptop all the time. It just wasn't gonna work. But I had the benefit of being in this country. We have 12 months maternity leave. Oh my God. Right. 12 months and now 18 months is available for those who want it. Oh my God. So while I was on mat leave, my company didn't top us up, so I was just getting 55% of my income.

Some companies actually top you up, so the government gives you 55% and then they'll pay the difference so that you're getting a hundred percent. Got it. Listen, when [00:08:00] you have an eight pound child who needs 800 pounds of things mm-hmm. And your income is significantly less, you've gotta try and figure it out.

Around that time, um, once Jasmine was about four months, her father and I be broke up. So I instantly became a solo mom. So I'm like, okay, what can I do? So I took my talents, my marketing talents, and I started a consulting firm with my sister. And that worked well for a bit until it didn't. And then I was like, okay, let me get into network marketing.

I heard I can make money from that. I, I didn't care what I was doing, I just needed to generate income. And that worked well until it didn't. And as she's growing up, I found myself getting into a situation where, again, not enough money coming in. I'm smart, I'll do the work. I'm working hard, but it's just not happening for me.

I found myself in foreclosure and I go, well, what am I gonna do here? So mom to the rescue, God bless [00:09:00] her, and she took care of that first foreclosure for me. I got into foreclosure three times, Tracy, three times, not because I didn't know what I was doing. I didn't know who I needed to be. And so what ended up happening was, um, I ended up accidentally becoming an educator as Jasmine was growing up, and we got into the pandemic and, um, teachers weren't going to school and they said, Hey, we need emergency, uh, supply teachers.

So I said, sure, I could do it. I'm, I'm home. I'm thinking about three to $5,000 with my network marketing here and there. They're gonna pay me. Let's go. I stayed with them for about four and a half years. Right. I was hired by the school board and I have four schools that I would go to, but it wasn't enough.

It wasn't enough. And I was working hard and I was at the mercy of other people telling me, yes, you can come in. No, you can't [00:10:00] come in. So what happens when you're not earning? I found myself back into foreclosure. Throughout all of this, I was having these conversations with Ja and we would always talk about what we wanted our life to look like and what we wanted it to feel like.

The switch for me was one day she said, mama, how come we don't have the things that you said we were gonna have? And that was like a dagger to my chest. Yes. 'cause I don't lie to my child. I tell her, listen, this is what it is, but she doesn't need to know about money. That's not her responsibility. And so I said, okay, I need to figure something out.

By this time I had come across this wonderful old man named Bob Proctor. And um, yes. And he's from down the street from where I am right now. That's where he lived. And he had this program online during the pandemic and it was free. So I was like, I've gotta learn something. 'cause what I'm doing is not working.

I need to figure it out. And so I enrolled in his program. It [00:11:00] was free, it was three days. And I was like. There's something to this. Hmm. I need more. I need more. Apparently I have problems with like my habits and my paradigm. Apparently I have an identity problem. Apparently I have an energy problem and I thought that like personal development was not needed for me.

I'm like, I'm personally developed. Thank you. Right? I've got all the development I need. Turns out I didn't. So I found out that he had this program and he taught about thinking into the result that you wanted. Now I'm in my third foreclosure and I wanna take his program and his program costs 8,000 us, which is like a million dollars Canadian.

Oh my gosh. I'm like, what am I gonna do? So I went and I borrowed money. And I said, okay, I'm gonna take this program. And instead of putting it towards my foreclosure, which I, in hindsight, you know, some people would've said, you should probably do that. I knew that if I put it towards the [00:12:00] foreclosure, I'd still be the same person and still be following the same habits and still be going through the same cycle over and over and over again.

And so I've put it towards the program, and I took the program and it rocked my world. It changed everything. I had to fully examine who I was and I didn't like what I saw. I didn't like what I saw. I was the villain in my own story. And how, how so shy, and I don't mean to direct you No, of course. But how, how, how so, like what kinds of things did you realize?

I realized that I had these beliefs that. Unbeknownst to me, like, okay, when we get our beliefs right, they're passed down to us from the people in our lives and our life. Everything is like a disc that's written on us right from the time that we're young. And so I had beliefs about money. I had beliefs about, um, my place in this world, beliefs about what I was able to do, um, the child, the place of a child, [00:13:00] seen and not heard.

I carried that into my adulthood, um, not feeling worthy enough, staying in relationships longer than I needed to. All of these beliefs and the identity, I thought I was shy and I thought that I was broken, and I thought that something was wrong with me. And I was like, oh, Lord, Lord, lord. And so it reflected in my results and it reflected in all the work that I was doing.

And so I thought that I had to work really, really, really hard to get. What somebody thought I like deserved. And so I unlearned a lot of that. And I am a person that if you teach me something, I'm not just gonna intellectually know it. I'm going to embody it. I wanna live it. And that's how I was able to just change my situation really quickly.

I went from, um, foreclosure to over a million dollars in less than nine months. In about nine months. Who? [00:14:00] So I was like, okay, Bob. Um, I think we need to repeat that one. Yes. She said she went from foreclosure to over a million dollars in nine months. Correct. After taking this program. Correct? Correct. And I became an expert on myself.

And this is now what I teach. I teach it from a different vein. So that was like the way, that was my, my origin story, so to speak. While I was doing all of this, I had decided, my goal was I wanted to live free and clear in my home. And so free and clear doesn't mean mortgage free. I don't use the language mortgage, mortgage free or debt free, because when you focus on mortgage and you focus on debt, mortgage and debt, you will have.

So I was really thoughtful with my language. I want to be free and clear in my home while this was happening and I'm in foreclosure and I'm alert. I'm in these lessons and I'm identifying as a person who was free and clear and living in the overflow, I [00:15:00] received a $5,000 anonymous check. I was like, this is great.

I need more than this, but this is great. No idea where, no, no, no idea. Mailed to my home. Two s, Shanny Letham, um, cash.

To this day, no one has claimed, no one has come forward. No one mom. No. She would've told me. Yeah. And while that was happening, I'm holding the identity of this person because I realized the identity that I had before was not getting me anything. So I'm holding this identity and I was like, okay, I'm gonna teach this material.

I'm gonna create my own programs. I'm gonna create my own company and I'm gonna teach it from my point of view. 'cause you know, you can learn all the things and some of it doesn't apply and some of it does apply. But the vulnerability that I had to experience, [00:16:00] the real, I cannot not cry moments that I was experiencing, I wanted to put all of that in my program so that it could be relatable to others and so that they could understand, look, I feel you.

I've been there. I've been a mess, like a full on mess. But if you find, if you work on yourself enough and start to believe in yourself enough, you can completely change the trajectory of your life. And so I've never looked back, I've never had a money problem since. Like I, I, I'm in the overflow. God is there.

She How long, how long has it been, um, how long have you been working as a, as this transformation coach? Um, about two and a half years now. Wow. Mm-hmm. That is amazing. So, um. You took this course. I'm just kicking myself. 'cause I, I learned about Bob Proctor like decades ago. I, the science of getting rich comes to mind.

[00:17:00] Yeah. I think it's something. Yeah. And I, I mean, I remember listening to him, but man, I wish I'd gone a little deeper there. Um, so you, you take his course. Yeah. Then how did, how did that, how did you apply that to your life? You're, you're sitting here with your third foreclosure. You invest heavily, invest in this program.

Trust yourself. You invest in yourself. You realize I'm gonna need this identity shift because you're right. If we don't, if it's all about us, if we don't change this, we're going to keep making the same mistake showing up as the same person. So you invest in that versus the foreclosure. Most of the world is listening to this thinking, oh my God.

But then you take this course, how do you, then how did you start to apply it and turn things around and get out of that hole? So. Uh, let me tell you one thing that happened that made things a lot easier for me. Um, while I was holding this identity, and even though I had zero [00:18:00] evidence of living as a millionaire and living free and clear and all of that stuff, there was zero evidence in my 3D world.

I couldn't see anything, but right. I was showing up as the person who was living this life. I was her honey. And, um, I got, um, this was just about a couple weeks before it, I either I had to move out or I had to pay the whole mortgage off. I received two letters in the mail, um, that were letting me know that I had investments that materialized, that I guess matured enough.

And they were about together about a hundred thousand dollars. I used to work for. Yeah, I didn't even remember them. I didn't even know over 20 years. They're over 20 years old. I used to work for a bank before I was in marketing when I first graduated from university. And they, we used to just pay into like, you can buy shares in the company and they would [00:19:00] match you.

So this is when I was doing well enough and I would buy and buy and buy and they matched everything and they, they totaled about a hundred thousand dollars. And I took that money and I immediately paid off the, the mortgage and I was free and clear in my home. Right? It became free and clear. And then I was like, okay, I don't need any more evidence.

I don't need any more evidence. So every day I held onto the identity of who, what I wanted, what I wanted my life to be like. And it was so hard. Because I've been living the same way for years. And that old mindset and that old identity was trying to pull me back. Everything was hitting the fan. And whenever you decide to manifest anything different in your life, you're going to immediately be given the opportunity to prove who you say you are.

And that comes in the form of, I don't know, your car breaks down [00:20:00] and um, you lose opportunities and you have problems with friends and family. And do you react the way you used to or do you react the way the person who already has what you want? Reacts. And so that's what I always did. That's what I always did.

So little things that I would do to put it into action. Um, now that in my mind I'm super wealthy and I'm free and clear and I am free and clear, uh, little things like instead of buying a small coffee, buy a large. Yes. Right. Instead of when I take her to go get fast food and you don't do that anymore, but when I take her to go get fast food, instead of doing the combo, we do a la carte.

Well, I want this with it and I want this with it, and I want this with it. Instead of, um, looking at the price of everything at the grocery store, I just say, you know what, this, I'm getting it because I want it. So I was acting as the person who had what I wanted. [00:21:00] And life will just keep giving you the opportunity to show up in proof who you say you are.

And that's what I did. I love that. I just, life will give you the opportunity to continually show up and prove who you are. I love that because I, I had a challenge back in June called Delusional June, where I was encouraging people to do what you're saying, just show up as her, like just wake up in the morning as her, act like her, think like her, do like her.

And it was amazing because it got me to work out something that I'm always talking about, thinking about saving videos. I'll come back to, I woke up and she was like, let's go. And we did. And I, and it lasted for several, several months. But I love this idea of thinking about it in that way because you, even when you train yourself to do that and you're doing it, something does happen that makes you, and now that I think back on it, you kind of slip back into, okay, that was silly.

Let me just go back to who I am. But now that you've said that, I almost wanna meet it with, okay. There, there's my [00:22:00] challenge are am I gonna do this as her I'm going, or am I gonna do it as the way I would have before I stepped into her? Right. Her energy. So I, I love it. 'cause Sha, one of the things I wanted to ask is, in the very beginning when you first set out to change your identity, did you believe it?

From the very beginning? I know that you said you had these amazing things that showed up, that gave you the evidence, and that was like, that's it. But before those things showed up, how did you go from your situation to I know I need to change my identity, to really kind of believing it and truly embodying it where it was?

Did did that happen immediately? Did it take time? Oh, I was like, what is this nonsense? What is this mumbo jumbo? I did not believe it at all. Not at all. But Box used to say, if your way isn't working, why don't you try mine? And I was like, well, oh Lord, my way is not working. Oh, that's good. Yeah, yeah, yeah.

So I was like, okay, [00:23:00] I'm gonna just believe it. I used to believe in, in the Easter Bunny, why can't I believe in myself? Mm. So if your way isn't working, why don't you try mine? That was enough. Sometimes it's just a sentence that's just like, ah, yes, that was enough. Mm-hmm. That's powerful. Yeah. So day to day, uh, what did you start doing differently?

Was, did you have, um, like would you journal, or how would, how did you step into this new identity? Can you walk us through that a little bit? So, initially I started with journaling and I would write down what I was grateful for like a million times just for like auto suggestion and so that it could impress upon me.

And then I realized I don't like that and I don't have the time. So what can I tweak? Sorry, Bob. What can I tweak and, um, make it work for me? So [00:24:00] what I would always do, whatever I was manifesting for, I would start off with the question, if anything and everything was possible, what would I love? So always ask if anything and everything was possible, what would I love?

So what would I love to have B do, go experience. And then I would write out a laundry list of all the things that I would love, and then I would pick the ones that were the most pressing to me, the ones that I was kind of obsessed with. And of the ones that I was most obsessed with, I would just choose one, circle it, and then write out the whole story of it, me living in it in the present tense.

And so sometimes it would be pages long. I was like, I'm living here. I love that. I live here in this home with 10 foot ceilings of floor to ceiling windows and it's so light, bright and airy, and I feel so at peace. And I love to cook here and I love to entertain. And when people come in, the foyer [00:25:00] has, there's enough space versus my last place where we were all crunched up.

You know what I mean? I wrote about it and every so often I would just go and read it. I would just go and read it. But the thing that I would do that I feel like a lot of people miss out on is I would impress a lot of feeling to it. So ne Goddard, if you know who he is, he has a book. Feeling is the Secret.

I recommend everybody, everybody read it, listen to it, the free copies on YouTube, you can listen to it. Um, thank you. You're welcome. And it's like 39 minutes. And um, he literally said the way forward things to come to light is for you to feel it. Because then your nervous system accepts it as real, and you can't manifest what your nervous system doesn't accept as real.

And so I would just apply feeling to it. Okay, so this is my life. How do I feel in this moment? Ooh, this feels good. Ooh, I feel relieved. Ooh, I feel at [00:26:00] peace. Ooh, I can't wait to have more of this. Please. And as you're feeling it, like I was just walking around in the, the feeling and the joy of, I'm living in this home.

I have all this money. Then I started, um, with my business. It's global now. Like in my mind, before it started growing, I would do that. And then I would just start waking up as the person who, so how did I dress? What kind of decisions did I make? What kind of, um, conversations would I have? What's my morning routine?

Things of that nature. And I would just live from that place. And that's like the law of assumption. You're living from the end. You assume the wish fulfilled. And so I literally embodied it. I internalized it. I became, I became who I wanted to be. I became who I always was, [00:27:00] but forgot. Mm. Mm-hmm. So, Shani, when you mention journaling and writing down pages and pages and pages, is that the key to write it down or could you think it, could you speak it into your, your notes on your phone?

Or is it something about physically writing it down that really makes it stick? You can do whatever feels good to you. Some people learn and remember by writing, I remember by writing. Things stick with me by writing. But I have clients that do it in their notes, um, and they listen to it every so often.

Sometimes they add music behind it and you know, they're out for a walk and they're just like, oh, this is good. Um, some people, they do, they write it over and over and over again until it's impressed upon them. Um, I say, do whatever works for you. Whatever feels good to you. It's all based on how you learn and how you receive information.

But for me, I just write it out once and every so often I go back and look at [00:28:00] it, and when I look at it, I'm like, look at my life. This is crazy. This is amazing. You know, and then sometimes I'll do, um, like a visualization, uh, where I'm just, before I go to bed at night, I'm envisioning what I've written down because I know what it feels like now, but now I've gotta see it.

And when I'm seeing it, I'm not seeing it from the position of s Shanny watching it on tv. It's like s Shay's in the TV actually living it. And then I can feel it even more. I always recommend to my clients that they do that just before bedtime, because that's when your subconscious is wide open, ready for information, and your subconscious mind doesn't know the difference between what's real and what's imagined.

So if you're visualizing and seeing it, you know from you actually doing it, and then you're feeling that just before you go to bed, [00:29:00] while you're sleeping, your subconscious is still processing that information and it's rewriting your disc. It's rewriting and replacing the old identity and the old feelings and the old nonsense and everything that's kept you to where you are.

And so then when you wake up in the morning, you feel different and you remember. Who you now are, and it's so cool. It's such a cool vibe. That feels so good. Oh my gosh. Wow. And so now you help other people do this. Mm-hmm. I do. I do. And so the funny thing is, again, when I, I became an accidental educator.

Even when I was in corporate, I was training, I was coaching, and was doing all of these things. I knew at some point in my life that I wanted to help people. I didn't know how, but I knew I did not wanna be a teacher. I knew that at 15 years old, when I had a summer job at a daycare and this [00:30:00] little girl, um, tried to pull on my skirt and I was like, get outta here.

Yeah. I knew at 15 years old, I did not wanna be a teacher. And lo and behold, I'm teaching. Right. Lo and behold, I'm teaching. So I coach, I train, I mentor, I guide, and. It's just everybody has something. Everybody wants something. Bob used to say to us, tell me what you want and I'll show you how to get it.

And I've adopted that too. Tell me what you want and I'll show you how to get it. And it's all through subconscious, mind. Reprogramming. It's all through, um, going through your beliefs and your money story and the energy levels that you have and the frequency and it's going through knowing how to make a decision.

A lot of people don't know how to decide anything. I wish that was taught in school. A lot of people don't know how to decide and it's about looking at things in a different, at a, with a different perspective. And then once you [00:31:00] see that the way you've been, the way you've been showing up has just kept you at a spot, it's brought you to where you are now.

Great. Your next level requires something different. And so we go through all of that together. Okay, well what do you want? Who do you need to be to have it? Okay, this is who I need to be. Great. What kind of beliefs would that person have? Um, who has it? Okay. They have these beliefs. Okay, great. Now that they have these beliefs, what kind of actions would they take?

Okay, great. So then I lead you to finding the answer. And sometimes the answers are like, way off. I'm like, no, don't do that, girl, don't do that. Good. Um, and then we'll try different things. And I do a lot of embodiment exercises because again, I don't want you to just intellectually know it. I want you to live it.

And that's the only way you're going to be able to manifest whatever it is that you want. [00:32:00] Wow. This is reminding me of, I did something called Lifebook. Um. Over a decade ago, a while ago, they, they, it's now online, you can do it virtually, but they used to have something in the city of Chicago where you could go and spend a weekend just working on your Lifebook.

And it was similar to what you're saying is you would just focus on like 12 different categories of your life, health, relationships, career, um, spirituality, just everything. Um, and you just spent the weekend really thinking about what you wanted it to be, finding pictures, visuals, um, and it's, it was so helpful because you rarely take that kind of time to intentionally think about your vision for your life and what it could look like.

The one caveat I would say though, cautionary tale is be careful what you write down because this stuff is powerful. Yes. And later on when I opened my life book, I have a physical life book upstairs, it's beautiful. But when I opened it years, I thought, oh my gosh. [00:33:00] It has come true, but I realized I probably should have been a little bit more specific.

I had the career, I was in the middle of my career at the time I did this, and then all the things I wrote down, the money, traveling the world, all of that I was doing, it's just, it, you know, it, it wasn't what I really wanted to be doing. Um, so it's, it's interesting. It shows how powerful it is, but how intentional you have to be.

Like, I love that you set to be free. Was it free and clear? Free and clear was free and clear. I mean, that's beautiful. That's regardless of your circumstance, to live your life free and clear. I think that's what everyone is truly searching for is to that freedom. Um, so those are perfect words, um, I think to choose, but that is just.

That is just amazing. And so the million dollars that you were able to, to, to build, did that come from teaching others from sharing what you had learned, your lived experience with [00:34:00] others? So part of it did something in between? Okay. Part of it did. Um, eventually I said, you know what? I don't wanna be here anymore.

I was not inspired in my space, so I sold it. I sold it not knowing where I was gonna be, I didn't have anywhere to go. So we went and stayed with my sister, but I was envisioning another place. So I got a good amount for my home. Uh, because remember now I didn't have a mortgage. And so that did well for me.

And then a good portion of it was teaching. And what's funny is I was doing one-on-one coaching only. Now I do group coaching. I find that it's, it's beneficial to the others to have other people to bounce off of. And, um. And it's also just helpful to me with, 'cause you only have so many hours in a day. I still do some one-on-one.

I'm finishing up with some, but it was one-on-one coaching and I decided to create some pricing that s Shanny before [00:35:00] would've cringed at. Right. I would've cringed at, like, I'm talking about twice as much. And then some of what I was paying, what I paid for Bob's training, but it was also six months and it was one-on-one.

And you know, there were all these things that came along with it and people paid it. And I was like, oh. The very first time I was like, you're gonna pay it up. Right. Wow, that's great. And then I was like, you know what? Of course you will. Of course, of course you will. Because I always get people to realize that it's not about the, the money, right?

It's not about the money that you're investing, it's about becoming the version of the person that you wanna be. And so when somebody does invest, you're not investing in me, you're investing in yourself, and you are making that decision from the version of you after the course, after the, the, the, the program.

And [00:36:00] so, yeah, it's what it was. It's what it is. And we're blessed, we're blessed. And I, there's, there are all these things in my head that, that has been a motto that, let me say this, a motto that's in my household. And I, part of my pricing comes into this as well, but my daughter knows that she hears it all the time, do well.

So you can do good. Right, because money is an amplifier and it amplifies who you are. And I've always been really generous, even when I didn't have it. And we've always come from a line of compassionate women and always been giving. We volunteer our time. We go and have, uh, an initiative that we give, uh, clothing and food and, and socks and all of these two people who have no home, especially in the winter here.

'cause it gets really cold. So do well. So you can do good. I have to do well so I can have a bigger reach. [00:37:00] Right? And so it's not even about me, it's about what I can do with what I'm getting. Right? And then what's happening is people are changing their lives. People are changing the way they show up in this world, people are having wild results.

Wild results. And you just, you, you can think of anything. You can think of anything. And they're having these amazing results. And as a result of that, I get to reach how many people and help so many people and, you know, donate here and donate there and volunteer my time. And it's great. It's beautiful. And you were just so beautifully living your design.

So I mean it, and with human design, just it's, it's your energetic blueprint. It's just simply how you're meant to, how your energy is built to, to move through this world, interact with others. And, um, as a [00:38:00] five one, that's your profile. You are here to impact others. You are here to, it's called a transpersonal pro profile, where your impact will be fulfilled through your relationships with others.

It's, um, very kind of a universal kind of energy where you're literally meant to. Serve in humanity. Um, I believe Martin Luther King has the same profile. So it's, it's that kind of energy. So you're doing exactly what you're meant to do and just the, the going to the group concepts, yes. It's, it's, you are built for clearly the masses, and it's through your lived experience.

You, you, you look at life a lot of times, the shadows, the, the downturns. It's exactly what you're meant to go through because it's just, this is a big school that we're in, you know, this life that we're given. It's just, it's school and those are learned lessons. And if you hadn't gone through that, you would not be able to benefit these women.

And I mean, it's so, your story is so [00:39:00] powerful. If you had been handed a silver spoon, this story wouldn't be that interesting. Yeah. But for you to go through what you went through and it didn't break you, instead it propelled you into this new way of li of life that you can now share with others. So it's, it's absolutely beautiful.

I wanted to ask you one thing though. When I think about money and, and read about it, I keep hearing about the importance of having a relationship with money. Um, for me, I don't love to look at the numbers. I get stressed. I feel this anxiety, and I know that that is a block. The fact that I fill that my mom is phenomenal with money and she knows everything about it.

When you look at her wallet, it's perfect. Everything is, every coin has its place. You can see the respect there in her relationship with money and it shows. So, um, thoughts on that Do with what you're doing? Do you have thoughts around that or is it less about that and more just about what we've talked about?

Not even focusing on that, just focusing [00:40:00] on what it is that you want to bring into your life and then the rest kind of comes together. No, we focus on both. So that this comes up a lot actually. So it sounds to me like because you have a story around money. Something clearly has happened with money. Um, maybe for you, and this happens with a lot of women, that our relationship with money is usually focused or centered around responsibility and centered around, um, I guess, I guess responsibility is, but like what we have and guilt what we have to do for others because we're naturally conditioned to be nurturers.

And so sometimes what ends up happening is you have, how do I wanna put this? You have thoughts of money. Maybe you've made a lot of money and you feel guilty about the amount of money that you've made because other people are not doing as well. Um, maybe you've been in a situation [00:41:00] like myself where there's pain attached to the idea of money where there's trauma attached or stress attached to the idea of money.

What I tell my clients to do is treat money like it's a friend of yours. Right. So treat money like it's a friend of yours. Even write a letter to money and tell money how it's impacted you in your life. What's something that you're appreciative for? You know, that money and what's something that the money has done or how it's showed up in your life that made you feel less than stellar.

And then you're gonna go and examine, okay, well maybe it's more than one thing that I've experienced that made me feel bad. And then maybe there are a lot of things that have just lit me up thanks to money. Like I have money, I can pay my bills so that I can pay for my electricity. And I'm so grateful because now I can talk to Tracy on here.

You know, my [00:42:00] phone's charged and I can pay. Um, not that I can, uh, cook dinner. We don't have a gas stove, so I need electricity. You know, we have to look at money as a living, breathing thing, even though it's energetic. Right. We have to look at it as that. And when we are able to look at it as that, then you're gonna find that your relationship, your current relationship with money is gonna shift.

And how would you talk to a friend? You would talk to a friend with care. You would talk to a friend with encouragement. You would talk to a friend with love and gratitude, and you talk to a friend with truth. And so if you start to do that with your money, you'll be like, you know what? You weren't there for me when I needed you.

Or, wow, you're always here. You're always here. And you're always here. You're abundance. Thank you. You've gotten me outta some sticky situations, or you gave me one of the best vacations of my life. [00:43:00] So treat it as a friend. And then we also need to wonder why, like, you'd have to really deep dive into why you have some anxiety with money.

So this is where we look at your beliefs. What are your first memories of money? Right? So mom is meticulous with her money. Do you feel like you have to live up to that? Oh, yes. Right? Oh, yes. Yeah. And so then it's like, okay, you are measuring yourself to mom's meticulousness. And it makes you feel a way, it gives you a little bit of anxiety, but when you realize that you are enough and you are perfect the way you are, and money keeps coming back to you because it's available.

Like you, you're, you're living in your home. You are gorgeous. So you take care of yourself, right? Money keeps coming to you and it will always continue to come to you. So you're doing something right and you're being who you need to be. [00:44:00] Once you look at it from that standpoint, then the anxiety will start to dissolve.

So hopefully that's helpful. It's very helpful. And I'm just playing kind of the movie of my life through my head and trying to figure out, you know, um, so no, that, that's extremely helpful. That's good. That's, that's spot on. Um, can you talk a little bit about, about just money being energy for those that are listening?

Like, wait, what? Yeah, for sure. For sure. So I know people are like, what are you talking about? No money, paper or it's colon. Yes. You know, but what happens? You don't use, what happens if you don't use like, physical money and you're sending it through, um, electronic transfer, right? Yes. Energetic. So, um, we broadcast a signal.

From ourselves. Okay, so we have an internal broadcast system and we broadcast a signal to the world, to the universe, and it's invisible, it's intangible, and, but it's very, very, very strong. And we use that, [00:45:00] um, signal to match the frequency of what we wanna call into our life or what we wanna manifest. And so when I say money is energy, I mean that money is, or money response to the vibration that we're tuned into, right?

So it's kind of like a radio station. So imagine you're in your car and you're driving and you turn on the radio and you're tuned into lack fm. Right. You're not fm fm girl. You're tuned, right? But everything that you experience, it confirms scarcity. So not enough time, not enough money, not enough love, not enough, um, food.

Not enough. Not enough, not enough. And so you might be doing all the right things on a regular basis, but the energy behind everything that you're doing, all the action, it's still rooted in worry and doubt and fear. That's the energy that you're putting out, right? And money [00:46:00] re reacts to that. So that's the frequency.

'cause money has a frequency, right? Wealth has a frequency, and that's what you're broadcasting. And so what that could look like is you checking your bank balance all the time, or staying away from looking at your bank balance. Um, when I got that first a hundred thousand dollars, um, from the, the two checks.

I took a screenshot of my bank account. I was like, oh my gosh, right? I was like, yes. And I saw, I, in my mind, I put another zero behind it, right? Because I wanted to exude that energy. So it could look like that, but it could also look like you getting upset when the kids don't finish dinner. And it's not because it's wasteful, but because maybe you worked really hard to make some money and they have no idea what you've been through, all the work that you've done to sacrifice for them, and they are not gonna eat it.

Or they waste their lunch and they bring it home. You are like, you, you have no idea, [00:47:00] right? And so, yes, that's the lack fm, that's the scarcity. And sometimes it looks like gatekeeping information. So I do a lot of free content on social media. I do, um, a masterclass once a month. It's always a two day masterclass.

I'm gonna teach, teach, teach because there's some things I refuse to charge for. But also because I realized that not everybody has the capacity to pay for what I, what I, what I do, what I, what I have. But beyond that, I get from a place of abundance. So that's one of the ways that I give. So I'm always in abundance because I'm always giving some people gate, keep their information.

And it could be for a reason that they don't want the other person to succeed more than them. They don't want to lose out on opportunities. They don't want to, um, lose out on extra income, whatever it may be. And so that's scarcity thinking. And so then to attract abundance the other way, [00:48:00] turn that dial to abundance fm, right?

Like you're turning your mental internal dial to a new frequency. And so that means that you're aligning your thoughts and your emotions and your energy and your action and your beliefs and your identity and all of that to wealth. 'cause wealth has an energy. So then what happens is you start speaking and feeling and acting from the energy of somebody who already has it.

Right. And so the truth is, um, manifesting money is not about chasing it. It's not about working really hard. Because if it was about working really hard and all of us worked really, really hard at one point in our life, we're still doing it Now, we would all be on a yacht sipping on pina coladas or margaritas.

Absolutely. Yes. Right. And the, what I've experienced and seen in my life are the people who are the hardest workers often have the least to show for it. Yes. Right? Yes. So there's [00:49:00] that energy disconnect and the identity disconnect. And they're, they have not been taught this and it's not their fault. So we have to become an energetic match to what we want to that money, to that wealth, and.

It doesn't come to you like you don't have to to find abundance. You don't have to create abundance. Abundance is already there. You just have to remember it. We don't create abundance, we create limitations, right? We create our own limitations. And so the money is gonna come because you're finally broadcasting at the frequency that says I'm safe to receive.

And the frequency that says I am worthy of overflow, right? And I fully expect abundance to find me. Abundance is everywhere and money is everywhere. And the energy of money is everywhere. And so one thing I always tell my clients [00:50:00] like, look, you haven't brought in some money in a day or so, you know? Or if you want some more, you gotta circulate it 'cause it's an energetic.

Um, thing. It's a be it's a being. It's energy. You have to circulate it. So that means some has to go out so that you can make room for more coming in. Now, what if you don't have a lot of money, right? What if you don't have any extra bill, like any money after bills? What do you do? Okay, well be abundant in other ways.

Go and, um, volunteer your time, right? Yes. Give someone a compliment. Like give, right? And as you're giving, you are opening yourself up to receive. So when I have people who wanna manifest more money, and I say, be specific. 'cause $5 is more money. But if you wanna manifest more, right? That's, yeah. We, I always say like, go and be abundant.

If you want more abundance, you gotta be abundant. You have to come from a place of [00:51:00] abundance. If you want more love, you gotta be more love. If you want more opportunities, you have to be opportunity. How do you raise your energetic frequency to match money, to match the energy of money? Self-love, the acts of self-love and the energy of self-love is the same frequency as wealth.

A lot of people don't know that. So if you're doing things in the name of self-love to like get yourself up there, whatever it is, whatever you love to do, whatever makes you feel love, tap into that and recognize, oh my gosh, I'm at the same frequency of wealth. This is so cool. This is so cool. Now, turn your thoughts to wealth.

Now that I'm matching wealth, what can I do? What can I do a little differently today that would bring something in? Who can I bless with my time, with my talents, with my services, with my products, my business, whatever. Can I bless in that way? [00:52:00] You're at the frequency of love. You're at the frequency of wealth, which is energy.

You're, uh, in alignment with it. They're gonna call it into you. Like the universe will respond. We don't manifest what we want. We manifest who we are. Who we are. Yes. We manifest what we believe to be true, and we manifest, um, what we're energetically matched to. So if money is energy and I'm energetically matched to it, it has no choice but to come to me.

To come to you. Yeah. And so now it so does, no, go ahead. I'm sorry. No, I'm just saying now it does, like, I, I did not know. So I, apparently, apparently, girl, lemme tell you, I have been an energetic match to. Money for a very long time, even before I knew what manifesting was when I was a child. I've told the story of [00:53:00] that one summer we were going to summer school.

Um, in Canada it's just something that you do. Um, in the summers, like, it's like camp and I used to always want money so I could go buy chicken nuggets, want chicken nuggets. So I used to always think of chicken nuggets. Think of, and one night, one day I was walking with my sister and like some friends and I found $20 on the ground and I was like, oh my gosh, let's go get some chicken nuggets.

I bought everybody chicken nuggets. It was a lot less back then. And I was like, you know what? I wish I could do it again. Almost every day. Almost every day. For the month of July that we were going to summer school, I found money on the ground. Come on, I'm not kidding. Money on the ground. And then I manifested two land rovers as my first cars.

Okay. Yeah, that happened before I knew what manifestation was. I was showing up as the person who drove, uh, all I wanted was a Honda Accord, by the [00:54:00] way. Okay. That's it. And I said I wanted that or something better. Now I realize that the engine of the Honda Accord is better, but that's what I want. Right?

And I got it. And the way it happened, it was so wild. I got it from the auto show, Tracy. I've never been to the auto show before in my life. Stop it. I'm not kidding you. I loved her raffle or something. My sister went to the auto show. She entered my name, my sister's, my name, um, her name and my mom's name.

They picked me. And the whole story is so wild because usually if they can't get you after the first call, they go to the next person. Right on the list that they draw. They fought like hell to find me. They fought like hell. I was meant to have this, these, well, these cars, his and hers. They called my sister who was in Montreal at the time 'cause she was a performer and it [00:55:00] was 6:00 AM and she was sleeping and she had done a show and they're like, hi, can we speak to S Shanny?

And she's like, what? She gave my home number and then I was still living at home at the time with my, with my family. So then they call the house and my mom answers the phone and I'm on the bus going to work while this is happening. And my mom answers the phone and they say, hi, we need to speak with s Shanny.

And like s Shay's gone to work. First of all, why are you telling people where I'm going? Mm. Right, right. What is this? So s Shanny is going to work. Well, we need to get in contact with her because she's won two land rovers at this point. My mom didn't hear them properly and we were living in an apartment and my mother says on national Radio, radio, what do you mean?

We live in an apartment? What does she need with two lawnmowers? So, okay, so that happens. They're like, no, the car, she's like the room broom. They're like, the room broom. Fine. How can we get ahold of [00:56:00] Shanny? She gives my cell phone now by this point it's about almost seven seven O' some something in the morning.

My friends know, don't call me, don't call me before 11. My voice sounds like a frog, right? Don't do it. My phone was always off. I had a little flip phone when that happened. Um, my phone was on that day. Go figure. I'm sitting on the bus, my phone rings, I say hello. They say, hi, Shanny. This is Roger, Rick and Marilyn from the Roger, Rick, and Marilyn Show.

I'm thinking it's a prank. Well, who, who, which friend is calling me? Then I recognized Marilyn's voice 'cause she had a television show, um, also a na, a nationally syndicated show lifestyle show that we used to watch. And she said, you know, are you sitting down? I'm like, yes. Literally on the bus.

Congratulations. You just won two Land Rovers from the auto show and they're playing all the ha the background. And I'm like, what? [00:57:00] What? What? I picked up the Auto Trader on February 25th, 'cause I finally decided that I was going to buy a car. I got the phone call on February 26th. Oh my gosh. So they have done all of this rigamarole to find me, right?

Remember, if they don't get you after one call, they're gonna go onto the next person. So now I have to answer a skill testing question. I'm like, okay, fine, I'll do this. It's probably like five times 10 divided by two. I'm good at math. You know, apparently you had to have been listening to the radio to their program because they had a bus that was wrapped in their advertising.

So I needed to know where's the Roger, Rick and Marilyn Bus? Well, I'm going to work. I don't know, like, I'm not listening to your, your, your sta your, your show. But Tracy, I was on the [00:58:00] bus. I was on the bus. Oh, you are? I was on the Roger, Rick and Maryland bus. It's too much. It's too much. I was on the Roger, Rick, and Maryland bus, so it was wrapped with their faces and on the, all the advertisements on the top, on the inside.

It was their faces. And so I had said, okay, we, we just left Downsview subway station. I'm on Shepherd. I'm going north. And they're like, yeah. Oh my gosh. Silence. I had no idea that I was a master manifester before I, I didn't even know what manifestation was, but I was doing all the things. I now that in hindsight, I understood, I understand that I was doing all the things.

I used to see myself driving the car, a little Honda Accord or something better while I was on the bus. I would sometimes like. Do this. And people would look at me like I was weird, but I was like, I'm driving my car. And I would see the little emblem. Sometimes it was a [00:59:00] Mercedes and I would picture myself pumping gas.

Right. And I would see myself stepping out of the car one leg at a time with the skirt and the heel. It was real sexy. I would see all of it. Yes. You know, like I was hurt. I was driving the car. I had it, and then I decided that I was going to get it. Nothing happens before you decide that you're, you want it.

And so I decided, and I told you February 25th, I picked up the auto trader. And on February 26th I got the phone call. Okay. So first I need to know, who did you get the second car to? Oh, my sister. What did you hold onto it? Oh, my sister. I'm seeing this pattern. We, going back to money being energy, first of all, that was an amazing story.

I didn't mean to just cut it off, but I, my mind is getting ready to explode. I'm just, I'm over here taking notes. So going back to money being energy. Yes. It's, it's, you know, currency, it's a current, it's meant to flow. But I've noticed in the examples of you manifesting money, [01:00:00] you finding money, you always then immediately gave back.

Yeah. You would receive and you gave back. You, you get chicken nuggets for everybody. Um, so I, I love the fact that you gifted that, that second car. I figured that's it. It's, and, and you were so right. When you stop and really think about it, I've been walking around thinking about this. I went apple picking with my mom.

Two or three weeks ago to an apple orchard. And I was looking at all of the apples and all the people there, and I was looking at the abundance of this fruit. Mm-hmm. There are people picking it. And yet all over the ground there were just apples everywhere where the tree had just simply dropped it. And I just realized, I've been walking by trees and seeing berries and there's no way all of it could be eaten.

I mean, it's, it's, it's, there's so much natural abundance that is out there, but it takes you to really step. 'cause we're taught a scarcity mindset. We're taught that if you're doing well, then I can't do well. Yes. If you're pretty, then I can't be pretty. If you have that business, you're taken [01:01:00] from me. It, there's a little piece of pie.

And if you have a slice, I have less. And that's just, but it's really a mind shift to see that and believe it. But, um, that was just, it's just an amazing, amazing story. It's, it's so inspirational and it's. So, so here's my question. Mm-hmm. I didn't wanna interrupt you, but here's my, so you were mentioning self-love, same vibration as wealth.

Yeah. And when you get to that space, you kind of think, okay, how could I serve others? How can I do for others? Or treating yourself, when does it become, when are you in that flow where you were doing that for yourself? And when does it become you're not being responsible? So just the other day I was looking at something online, an outfit, I was like, Hmm, I would really like that.

But then I started feeling, I started going back and forth. When does it become, no, it makes sense for you to gift yourself with that trace. It's gonna make you feel good. You're gonna look good, you're gonna, or what is it? Just, I'm out here spending money that I shouldn't be [01:02:00] spending? How do you find that balance?

Okay, so that one's lived, that li I, I still, I still like grapple with that every so often. I was always the one in the family who, uh, my sister would just buy whatever. I'm like, do you need that? Do you need that? And she's like, okay, fine. I'll put it back. I'm like, do you need that? But sometimes you have to realize that it's always gonna come back.

I don't want, I, I tell people, don't be frivolous with your money. Don't be irresponsible with your money, but also recognize that you worked hard for what you got, what you got, you know? And you are worthy of having nice things. You are worthy of sharing, giving the way you want to. Don't put yourself in a position where you have less than on a regular basis, because you always wanna get more.

Yes, you have to circulate money to get more money. I [01:03:00] understand that. And you might have $5 in your account, but again, go buy that tea, that large tea. But if you are in a place where you are always just spending. You're not actively bringing in money. That's not wise, right? That's not wise. It's, I highly do not recommend it, like red card flag on the play.

I don't recommend it. Um, you just have to be smart. You have to be smart. You have, it's, this is, it's almost a contradiction because I say that when you're manifesting, you have to use uncommon sense, right? Because you're thinking of things that are out of this world that can happen and you're collapsing time and making it happen faster than it typically would happen.

But in this case, use some common sense. Don't just spend it all with the idea of, okay, it's coming back. Because you're not in the energy of abundance. [01:04:00] You're in the energy of greed and there's a difference. And when you're in the energy of greed, again, the universe is gonna give you the opportunity to show up and say who you are.

And you're greedy and you always want, and now you're gluttonous. Yes. Eventually the tap is gonna turn off. So don't like dig yourself into a hole because I want it, I want it, I want it, I want it, I want it. Yes, you can have whatever you want, but there's the law of compensation also. Right? And there's, um, the law of reciprocity, which you put out, which you gotta, like, you're gonna get back in.

But also what you get back in, you're gonna put out, you, there has to be an exchange. And if it's just going out, going out, going out, there's no coming in, coming in, coming in. That's very unwise. So I do not recommend that at all. I love it. Um, this makes me think of, so one of my mentors, uh, her name is Kathy Heller, and she always tells the story of when she was, [01:05:00] um, much, much younger, just kind of starting out, not making a lot of money.

She would go and treat herself to a $200 facial. I think it was a facial at a time where she was not making a lot of money, but because she spent that amount of money, she was allowed to spend time in this beautiful spa. It was like an upscale spa in like Beverly Hills or something like that. And, um. Her friends would be like, what are you doing?

Why are you, and she loved the way it made her feel. Mm-hmm. She would literally spend the day there and it made her very comfortable with being around wealth. She, the way she felt, it felt good to her. And I mean, the end of the story, she's, you know, multimillionaire at this point, but I do, there is definitely something to that.

Um, I felt, I was telling my husband the other day, I think I felt my wealthiest when I was straight out of school. My first job I made like 27,000 a year. Not a lot of money. I was living in Lincoln Park, the most desirable neighborhood that I wanted to live in. Tiny, [01:06:00] tiny little studio apartment. But I was living there.

I felt like I had all the money in the world. I could treat myself to whatever I wanted. I never checked my bank account and I was making the less, the least amount of money I've ever made in my life. But it was just kinda the way I felt. I didn't have all the responsibilities I have now, but I do believe in this that you have to put yourself in the situation.

My husband and I, our 29th anniversary is coming up and we're going to do a staycation in, in Chicago. We, we live right outside of, outside of Chicago, but it's my favorite city in the world. So we're like, why deal with airports? Why deal with airplanes? Let's go stay in a gorgeous hotel in Chicago and just spot up.

You know? I think it's important to treat yourself and I'm going to absolutely be doing a lot of what you've taught us today while I'm there. Like, yes, this is of courses. Of course I'm here. This is, why wouldn't, there's a, you know, this is my life. I'm gonna enjoy every moment of it. I love that. I love that.

And with regards to your friend, there was an exchange. [01:07:00] So she paid money and she got to spend the day there. But she got to, she used the feeling to tap into something else and it created an identity in her. And now look at her. So there was an exchange. If there's no exchange, no. But there was an exchange.

Yeah. And I think you nailed it when you said the identity piece. It literally created that identity for her. Mm-hmm. It, she was like, this is I, and as a little girl, I did this much better when we would drive into Chicago and we'd see the sky, sky, the high rises and I would all, I felt pulled to it. Like, yes, one day I will.

You know, I think it's important that we, we do that. It's a great, great reminder. Awesome. Well, I could talk to you for the rest of the, I mean this is just so, so good, but, um, I wanted to move into, if you're okay with it, our beautiful fixed speed round. Let's do it. Alright. So what makes you come alive? [01:08:00] Ooh.

Okay. Um, good food, good music, good sex. Heard that okay. Oh, wait. Love it. One more and like the perfect. I have a perfect, um, temperature. It's very strange, but for me, I love 24 degrees Celsius, which is about 75 Fahrenheit. Yes. I walk outside with my arms like this, like I am in a Disney movie, and I'm just like, yeah, I'm so alive and a perfect 24 degrees Celsius.

It's wild. Oh my gosh. Mm-hmm. I, that is such a good one, because I agree. I just said 75 degree weather is like my favorite. I, that's why I love fall. Yeah. I love this time of year because you, yes. Um, what's a song that instantly shifts your mood or makes you feel something? Can I do two? Absolutely. Okay.

Abundance. Abundance. Let's go. Um, PIM for the Weekend by Coldplay. [01:09:00] Mm Oh, I love that song. I love that song. It when I'm Low and it talks about when I'm low. Um, I put it on and I do whatever I need to do and I dance it out and I changed my vibration. The second one is Back That Ass Up by Juvenile.

Yeah. Yeah. I love it. So good. Mm-hmm. Is, is there a book that cracked you open or stayed with you long after the last page? Um, okay, we're gonna have to go with abundance 'cause this is tough. So I'm reading The Power of, um, positive Thinking by Norman Vincent Peele. I've read it before and. There's so many nuggets in there.

Granted, you can't be positive all the time, but it just talks about how to shift out of the negative and get into either neutral or into a positive mind frame. So I love that. Um, one of the things they talk about in there is, or he mentions, is to say to yourself, I'm a guaranteed success and I show up [01:10:00] every day in everything that I do.

I'm a guaranteed success. So, and what, what's the other thing that he says? Um, I expect the best and with God's help, I will attain it. Oh. So I expect the best and with God's help, I will attain it. I'm mouth that off all the time. I believe it. Yes. That's me. The second one's gonna be shock you. It's, um, Harry Potter and the philosopher Stone.

We're obsessed with Harry Potter in this house. I have a, a 13-year-old daughter. So, um, but even before she was born, I was obsessed. My university, I went to university in Arkansas and my, um, college boss, he was like, you need to read this. And there's this quote in there that stuck with me. And I, I use it all the time, and it's, happiness can be found in the darkest of times if only one remembers to turn on the light.

Mm. I was like, Ooh, that hit me on my heels. [01:11:00] It's so true. If only one remembers to turn on the light. So it's all internal, right? Yes. I was like, okay. That's good. Mm-hmm. Is, is that the, um, the original, the, the first, the first one. Harry Potter. Okay. Yeah. Okay. Mm-hmm. What's your favorite little indulgence or guilty pleasure?

Something that just brings you joy. I like going to the movies by myself. Do you? I do, I do sometimes. Like, listen, I'm talking all the time, you know, and I, I'm mom and I'm coached and I, we have, uh, competitive sports and she's a ballerina and I'm here, there and everywhere and I'm the friend and sometimes I just wanna go and do my own thing.

That's where I recharge. So I love going to the movies by myself and then movie popcorn's better than homemade popcorn. Thank you. Right. Thank you. Yeah. Yes, you have to, you have to get the refills. Yes, [01:12:00] yes, yes. You get it. I dunno if it's, it's, I dunno if it's the salt. I don't, I don't know what that is, but I agree.

Mm-hmm. I love that. You know, I think people just in general, you need both. You need people for sure. But it's something about when you make peace mm-hmm. With being just with yourself. Yeah. There's so much knowledge. I think learning and growth that can come in solitude and quiet times, and just the act of div.

I've done that before where I've gone to the movie by myself. There's something, when you break, when you step outta that comfort zone of I have to be with someone. Yeah, no. Mm-hmm. I'm going by myself and I love it. I love that. Mm-hmm. What's one thing that always reminds you how beautiful life really is in the theme of Abundance Girl?

Um, sunsets and sunrises. I get to see both. I'm up early enough that I get to see, you know, the [01:13:00] sunrise and the sun is setting. I look at the wonder, the wonder of being able to see something so majestic that's created, and I get to wake up and look at this every day. I don't care what's going on in my life, how blessed am I that I get to see this?

And then I've heard someone say this once upon a time that sunsets are proof that there are, um, that endings can be beautiful, right? So sunsets are proof that endings can be beautiful. And I was like, yeah, yeah. Oh my gosh. It's, I mean, I don't, I don't know what I did to be here, but I'm so blessed and it's beautiful.

It happens every day. I don't have to do anything to make it happen. It's gorgeous. Mm-hmm. Ah, thank you. So before I let you go, where can listeners find you like. W work with you.
