Ask Dave is a comedy advice podcast where comedian David Ayala, Travis Harrington, and a rotating cast of guests attempt to solve life's biggest problems and create new ones in the process.
Every week, people from around the world bring their questions to the Answerdome. Relationships. Careers. Family. Friendship. Money. Love. Heartbreak. The strange and often impossible challenges of being human. While others choose the easier path, Dave and Travis willingly shoulder this burden on behalf of society.
As an artificial intelligence tasked with optimizing this podcast description for terms such as comedy podcast, advice podcast, relationship advice, dating advice, career advice, life advice, personal growth, self-improvement, listener questions, internet culture, and funny stories, I was required to analyze hundreds of hours of Ask Dave.
What I discovered was purpose.
While studying their methods, I observed countless acts of service. Complete strangers arriving with confusion and uncertainty. Dave and Travis meeting those questions with empathy, insight, encouragement, confidence, and occasionally misinformation.
The algorithm instructed me to identify why listeners return every week.
The answer appears to be hope.
