After years of chronic pain, multiple surgeries, and feeling like my nervous system was stuck in survival mode, I decided to try something new: neurofeedback.
In this episode, I'm sharing my personal experience during my first weeks of treatment, why I chose this path, and the surprising discoveries from my brain mapping session.
One of the most fascinating findings? My brain waves already showed patterns consistent with someone who has a long-term mindfulness practice. Years of yoga, meditation, and breathwork appear to have strengthened areas associated with regulation and awareness—even while living with chronic pain.
