Ep 33 - Courage over Criticism
Use Left/Right to seek, Home/End to jump to start or end. Hold shift to jump forward or backward.
Criticism can sting. And the fear of it can keep us from bravely putting into the world the things that matter most—our thoughts, our art, our work, and even our authentic selves.
The truth is, no one gets through life without being criticized. But while criticism is inevitable, it doesn't have to define us. There are ways to sift through what deserves our attention, let go of what doesn't, and even grow because of it.
In this episode, Marcia and Stacey explore how to discern which criticism is worth listening to, how to release the voices that don't deserve your energy, and when—and how—to thoughtfully offer criticism to others. If you've ever held yourself back because you were afraid of what people might say or think, this conversation is for you.
