An informal yet insightful approach of discussing mental health diagnoses, treatment methods, and diverse perspectives from both therapists and other mental health professionals. "Inside the Therapy Room" conveys a sense of being privy to the professional world of therapy, while "Unpacking" hints at the deeper exploration/education of treatment approaches and diagnoses. We aim to give you a look on how therapy should be with explanations of how we got there.

In this first episode, you get to know both host and their backgrounds. You get a better understanding of what brought them to the field and why they enjoy the work they do. Neither therapists were traditional students (aged 22 when starting graduate school). As a result, you get to see how their unique backgrounds contribute to their work and understanding of the field and of the human psyche.
