In this episode, we’re diving into the beautiful chaos of raising two secondary school boys - Evan and Kye. Going from a family of three to four overnight wasn’t exactly smooth sailing, but it’s been an adventure, that’s for sure.
Kye came into our lives as a foster child and is now on the way to being officially adopted, which has brought its own set of challenges and blessings.
Raising two boys - one biological and one fostered - has been a wild ride, and let’s just say we’ve learned a lot along the way!
But it’s not just the big stuff that keeps us on our toes - it’s the day-to-day, like trying to figure out what the heck “cap” and “drip” mean (seriously, we’re still lost!)
So if you’ve ever had that moment of “wait, what?!” when your teens start talking, you’re definitely not alone.
In this episode, we’re sharing what it’s really like raising two secondary school boys, keeping our family values intact, and adjusting to the chaos of becoming a family of four.
Oh, and we might just admit that we don’t fully understand the teen slang, but we’re working on it.
