Got a lot going on. Okay, for today, what we're gonna talk about, I want to reiterate some of the events coming up that we talked about this past week. We had Jamie Toole in. I want to bring back a quick clip from him to talk about some of the events that are coming up over the next month. They have so many great things that they're gonna be doing. Also, Brandon Dom, they've got their concert coming up from Rock for Mental Health. Want to give you a quick clip from him as well. All these things are great ways to help support the organizations in our community, businesses in our community, and to help get out there. And I want you to add these things to your battle plan, y'all. Great way to support and be a part of the community. But hey, before we do that, let's talk a little bit about time. Because that's what today is all about controlling time. One thing we can do to control time is utilize systems. We talk a lot about systems in the 10x world. So let's define system as a set of things working together as parts of a mechanism or an interconnecting network or a set of principles or procedures according to which something is done, an organized framework or method. Now, having systems in place for all parts of your life and your business will allow you to control time more effectively. So if you're a business owner out there or you're an employee that runs part of a business, hey, what systems do you have in place and how are they performing for you right now? How confident are you in those systems? Things like creating clear targets, training systems, onboarding systems, marketing systems, follow-up systems, any of these systems that give you the opportunity to control time through repeatable processes and through scaling through people. Because when you have a set system, it can be taught to other people and implemented by other people. It doesn't have to always be you. A lot of you solopreneurs out there understand this early on. You're doing everything, right? But then as you grow and scale, you need to create those systems to be able to duplicate those efforts and be able to train other folks on those systems so you're not stuck in doing everything because you know you're not going to be able to grow and scale using that model. So as a business, in order to increase revenue, some of those primary systems you need to manage, and I meant I mentioned a couple of them just a few minutes ago, those clear ideas and targets. Should also be managing how you're getting attention, how you're generating and converting leads, managing money, managing a team, scaling, and time. We talk a lot in 10x about 90-day spikes, how you can create 90-day plans in order to push you toward your annual targets and to your big massive 10x goals. We have a couple of things we do in our coaching program with those 90-day plans to come up with those targets and goals and then attach actions that go along with that in order to achieve it. So take a look this week at the systems you have in place in your business and in your life. How can they be improved upon? How can they be more efficient? Can you act actually teach someone else to utilize that system, or is that something you just have in your head? So take a look with a critical eye on all your systems. How confident in all your systems are you, or maybe you don't have a system at all? Today might be the time to go ahead and get going on that system because it will give you more freedom and allow you to be able to control time more effectively. So I hope that helps. We're gonna get to Jamie Tool first and then Brandon Dom second to go back over their events that they have coming up. But don't forget, this coming Thursday, we have Elevate Springfield Insider, 11 o'clock via Zoom. Opportunity for you to go a little bit deeper with the podcast. Guests get some training in another way for you to level up to 10x your life and business, ask questions of the guests and of me, and another way to embed yourself in community. So hey, don't forget, add all these things to your battle plan. Check on those systems. We're gonna get right to Jamie and then to Brandon. Mr. Jamie Toole.

SPEAKER_02

How are we doing, Jamie? I'm great, man. May 27th is our home opener. Uh got to plug$1 tickets to that game presented by our friends at Ollie's. Ollie's is opening up here in Springfield in June, a grand opening. But uh$1 tickets, May 27th, come on up to the ballpark. I think you'll be shocked with some of the enhancements, some of the fresh paintings, the field condition. Uh, I think we're trending in a real positive direction. And we open on the road May 26th at Danville, but the home opener May 27th. Okay. Anything going on prior to that? Any preseason event type lines? Yeah. A lot. So uh we actually have a new event. When we when we knew the ballpark was transitioning over in ownership, we knew our role would move into more of the booker from a promotional perspective. So we started looking high and low. What are some cool synergies? And we created an event called Heroes at Home Plate. Uh, the concept for me is just we want to bring content that's not really relative to sports. If you're not into sports or baseball or whatever, this could be content that brings you to this facility. One of the things we say in-house is we want to be a community institution, not just a ballpark. We want weddings and we want bachelor parties and we want bucket golf, and you you name it, we want to bring in program the ballpark. But what were we looking at heroes at home plate? It was quite frankly just that. Uh, you know, an American hero that we thought had done a lot. And that could come from any different area. This year it happens to come from military and definitely American hero there, right? Yeah, former Navy SEAL Rob O'Neill. He just has an incredible story. The way forward, I think, is his book title. I mean, he was, you know, most notably on the mission uh in Islamabad that that killed Osama bin Laden. The story goes he pulled the trigger to kill Osama bin Laden. But what's super cool about it is not necessarily that part, is his story and his life and how he's developed, you know, through the Navy or uh through the SEALs program. And people probably be shocked to hear how much he was involved in different things from like the Captain Phillips situation to Saddam Hussein. I mean, he's really sort of I I don't mean this as derogatory, like the forest gump of the Navy SEAL. He found himself in all of these situations. So um that's that's gonna come up on May 2nd. And what's super cool about that, that's 15 years to the day of the raid and Islamabad. So 15 years uh on or May 2nd, 2011, uh, these guys were getting in a Black Hawk helicopter after having written their families' letters saying they won't come back. I mean, you know, you have children, I have children. Imagine what it takes to sit down and and draft that letter because they didn't think they would would come out alive and and they signed up for that. And uh there's nothing more heroic than our United States military. Uh the the men and women that do that and and that so we can do baseball parks and renovations and podcasts, it's just an ultra level of respect. So I'm super excited for that. Heroes at home play tickets are available. Uh, there's a meet and greet. You actually can meet Rob and get a photo with them. Yeah. Um, so I I'm really stoked about that. And that'll be a new tradition where uh you know heroes come from different areas, and you know, whether it be like I said, sports or other things. Outside of that, we have the Battle of the Sexes back coming on May the 15th. Really excited about that. I'm gonna say her name wrong because I don't know softball players as much, but um Alo is her last name. And apparently this is like one of the top softball players ever. And uh she's coming here. Uh, all the softball players know her, uh, so I hope I'm not offending anybody, but uh that's a really fun event. Uh and we always root for the girls to whoop up on the shoes. Uh, and then when we get past that, Denner for the Diamond with Ozzie Smith.

SPEAKER_03

Always a crowd pleaser there.

SPEAKER_02

Well, Ozzie Smith has been somebody from honestly from 2021 we've tried to book every year. You know, the young lady that books him is probably so tired, and she's like, Thank God I got this guy from Springfield off my radar. But Ozzie, you know, I just quite frankly to me, one of the elite players in history of baseball, not just the Cardinals, but he'll be here May 21st, dinner for the Diamond. All the proceeds from that go to friends of Robin Roberts. And the very next night we have the badge battle, our Springfield PD and our Springfield Fire Department are going to battle it out here in a nice, uh friendly, maybe friendly softball game. But we certainly appreciate our first responders and everything they do for our community and excited to have both Chiefs out that night. And I hope it ends in a tie. So much great stuff before the season, even that's before the season, right? And then it even starts. Yeah, and then the legends game is coming back. You know, we have uh Henry Rowan Gardner, which is uh he's gonna play in the game, but also put on a post-game concert. Bringing that fireball arm with him, isn't he? That's right. And I don't know if he's if he broke it again or not, but uh that's uh those are the fun things. And then 30 shoes games, uh ton of other programming, drone shows, firework shows. It's gonna be a fun summer.

SPEAKER_03

You know, no, Ozzy Smith's awesome. I remember as a kid going down to like Cardinals games, and he was the one guy. I got to get his autograph, you know, when I was I gotta get that because growing up I played uh shortstop as well. So he was like one of the guys, man.

SPEAKER_02

He was the guy. Well, just seeing him come on the field and do that flip. You know, I grew up an Atlanta Braves fan, so I got to watch the Braves on TBS all the time. I guess all the time. And uh I always love when the Braves would play the Cardinals, and Ozzy would go on and do his flip, and you know, he just was smooth. They don't make him like that anymore, but uh that'll be a special night to get him at Robin Roberts and uh see if he's ever played here before. I don't think so, but we had Vince Coleman last year, and ironically, I had no idea Vince had played just a couple games here at Robin Roberts. So yeah, I think we'd all be shocked if we knew all the players that came through here through the last 101 years.

SPEAKER_03

Right. And that dinner on the diamond is literally a diamond.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, we actually put it out there on the diamond and uh working with our friends at Noonans for some some linens and some tent opportunities if the weather doesn't work, but we go right out there uh on the diamond, and uh there uh aren't very many tickets left for that. So if you're interested, I'd recommend getting those uh ASAP. I will likely sell out of that. There's some limitations on capacity. Uh he has an agreement with fanatics, and he just uh there's some limitations on access and that type of thing.

SPEAKER_03

Absolutely. So the heroes at home plate, what's the setup look like for that? Is everybody in the stands and he's at home plate literally? Or at the end of the day, yeah.

SPEAKER_02

So we we're gonna put a stage right at home plate. Again, weather permitting, we have a rain plan with a tent to cover the the event, but a stage right at home plate, there'll be some field seating right there on the field for our sponsors and and VIP guests that'll be a part of the meet and greet. Uh, and then there's a general admission uh seating right behind home plate up in the seats. So we haven't done anything like this before. So, you know, my anticipation is we'll have a couple hundred people here. I think, you know, what I would tell people is if you don't know who Robert O'Neill is, I would do a little looking into his story, maybe not some of the political stuff, because I know I've heard some people say, oh, you know, he's political disposition. I have the ability to compartmentalize and to appreciate that this, what these guys did and and what they continue to do, right? There's things that are happening right now and across the world that our United States military are doing to keep us safe. And I just, my grandfather was in the military, and I just have such uh an appreciation for that. So I'm sort of like more nervous and excited about this heroes at home plate than maybe any other event that we've had here.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah. So we've got Brandon Dom from Rock for Mental Health. So the the concert coming up. Tell us a little bit about who's gonna be there, the whole nine, all the details.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah. Uh so this is uh a new project for us. Uh since 2023, we've had the 5k and live music. And this year we wanted to do something in May for Mental Health Awareness Month. Originally, the concert was gonna be at the curve here in Springfield, and unfortunately, they had their fire, but now it's been moved to Boondocks, which we're greatly appreciative of that they allowed us to have it there. And we have three bands Park, who is well known as a band here in town, big during the early 2000s, emo, post-hardcore punk type era.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah. Um Miles was actually on the show here. Uh well, probably about six months ago. We had we had him on here.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, and I have a great relationship with Miles Park Hill, the drummer, and you know, with Miles t-shirts, done business with him, getting shirts and hoodies and such, and we get our rock and run run hoodies for participants through him as well. So his band Park will be there, uh Unchained, which is a popular uh local cover band, and they have originals too. And then a newer national touring act called Dead Sugar. They play him on QLZ and such, and recently gotten to the top 40 on the iHeartRadio rock charts. Nice. So they're an up-and-coming rock band, modern rock band. So all three of those will be performing at Boondocks on May 3rd.

SPEAKER_03

That's awesome. And what's the times on that?

SPEAKER_01

Uh the show starts at five, so it goes five to about nine. It's on a Sunday night. Only$10 to get in. Can't beat that. Yeah, get get the tickets online or there at the door. Yeah, we wanted to make it affordable where we would rather have more people come out than less people be restricted by any kind of financial burden.

SPEAKER_03

Right, absolutely. Ten bucks to see three good bands and to benefit a great cause sounds like a win-win-win for everybody there, man. Definitely. No, that's awesome. I didn't realize that it was supposed to be at the curve before that.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah. And that's just another example of life happening and challenges people face unexpectedly, and we appreciated the curve that they were willing to host it there, and hopefully we can come back in the future when they rebuild bigger and better and do something then.

SPEAKER_03

Right. So that 10 bucks, do you recommend people get those tickets early?

SPEAKER_01

We always encourage to get them early, but it'll be ten dollars at the door also. Okay. Awesome.

SPEAKER_03

Where can if they get them early, where can they go to do that?

SPEAKER_01

Uh, they can go to rockformentalhealth.org or if you look on Eventbrite for Rock for Mental Health, you'll find the ticket link there.

SPEAKER_03
