Let's Walk One Mile!
Sherie has been thinking about this topic, and she is finally ready to share it. Convenience is one of the great gifts of modern life. But somewhere along the way, it quietly started replacing things we actually need: movement, connection, effort, and participation.
This episode is not about guilt. It is not about canceling Amazon Prime or ditching your dishwasher. It is about asking one honest question: what are you no longer doing because convenience is doing it for you?
✔ Why our modern environment works against our biology, and what that actually means
✔ How convenience quietly removes movement, connection, and participation
✔ Why friction is not always the enemy and what we lose when we eliminate it
✔ How intentional inconvenience might be one of the most powerful health tools available

🚶♀️ Your Walk With Me Challenge
This week, ask yourself one question: What am I no longer doing because convenience is doing it for me?
Then choose one small way to restore participation. Walk to the store instead of ordering delivery. Call a friend instead of texting. Think through a problem before handing it to an AI. Take a walk instead of scrolling. It does not have to be dramatic.
One meaningful inconvenience added back into your week. That is it.
