Spring Evening Calm
Use Left/Right to seek, Home/End to jump to start or end. Hold shift to jump forward or backward.
We guide a slow return to the present through gentle breath awareness and a warm spring evening visualization. We end with a quiet reminder that rest is allowed and not everything needs to be finished today.

Welcome And Arrive
SPEAKER_00Hello, and welcome to Breathe and Be. I'm Marianne, and I'm so glad you're here. Take a moment to arrive. Let your body settle just as it is. Gently bring your awareness to your breath, not changing it, just noticing.
SPEAKER_01And if your breath feels uneven or shallow, that's okay too.
SPEAKER_00Trust that your body knows exactly what it needs.
Visualize A Warm Spring Evening
SPEAKER_00Now imagine stepping outside into the first truly warm evening of spring. The kind of evening where the day's warmth hasn't quite left yet. But the air is beginning to cool just slightly. You can feel it on your skin.
SPEAKER_01That perfect balance, warmth, and a soft drifting breeze.
SPEAKER_00The light around you has shifted.
SPEAKER_01The sun is lower now, casting everything in a golden glow. Shadows stretch a little longer, and the world feels quieter, slower. You might notice the sky, soft blues fading into hints of orange and pink, maybe even lavender.
SPEAKER_00A sky that feels like it's gently letting go of the day.
Evening Sounds And Fireflies
SPEAKER_00In the distance, you hear the sounds of life continuing. A screen door opening, then closing. The voices carrying lightly through the air. Not loud, just present. Maybe laughter, easy, unhurried. There's a faint, familiar scent of something on a grill. Warm, comforting. And the air itself smells different now. Soft, settled.
SPEAKER_01It's been warmed all day and is finally exhaling. As the evening deepens, you might begin to notice new sounds.
SPEAKER_00The subtle hum of insects. Crickets beginning their steady rhythm. A quiet chorus that belongs only to this time of day. And then maybe a small flicker of light, fireflies appearing one by one, glowing softly, then disappearing. Tiny reminders of something simple and a little bit magical.
Slow Breath And Body Check-In
SPEAKER_00Take a slow breath in here.
SPEAKER_01And as you exhale, notice how your body feels in this moment. There may be a sense of ease, a soft unwinding, as if the day is gently releasing its hold on you. Nothing is being asked of you here. There is nowhere else to be.
SPEAKER_00Just this moment, just this evening, this quiet transition.
Let Today Settle
SPEAKER_01If it feels right, you might gently reflect, what am I ready to let settle for today? What can I allow to rest until tomorrow?
SPEAKER_00No need to force an answer, just letting the question drift like the evening air.
Return And Carry The Calm
SPEAKER_00Now slowly begin to return. Noticing your breath again. The rise and the fall. Bringing awareness back to your body, the surface beneath you, maybe inviting small movements, wiggling your fingers and toes, giving your shoulders a gentle stretch, tilting your neck from side to side. And as you come back, carry this with you. Not everything needs to be finished today. Some things are meant to soften and settle in their own time.
SPEAKER_01I will see you here again next week.
