Brendan Anderson
Brendan Anderson is the founder and Managing Partner of ScaleCo Capital, where he leads vision, strategy, deal sourcing, portfolio performance, investor relations, and fundraising. Since launching ScaleCo in 2018, he has focused on helping lower middle market companies scale through operational improvements, with an emphasis on Midwest and Great Lakes businesses.
Previously, Brendan co-founded Evolution Capital Partners, a Cleveland-based private equity firm investing in micro-cap companies. He began his entrepreneurial career in the mid-1990s, founding The Mast Group and later Heartland Companies, and acquired Stam, Inc., where he held leadership roles including CFO and VP of Sales.
He started his career in banking at American National Bank and HSBC, and later served as an investor and board member at American Heartland Bank. Brendan holds a BA in Economics from DePauw University and an MBA in Finance from Loyola University Chicago.
