SPEAKER_01:

Hey, let me start by asking you a question. Have you ever felt disconnected, burnt out, or perhaps like you're living on autopilot? I know I have, but that's exactly why I created the Fitzon Yoga Retreat, a retreat that's based off of being in the business for yourself. It's going to be held October 9th through the 12th this year at the Red River Gorge in the beautiful state of Kentucky. It's a four-day immersive experience, and it's going to be more than just a getaway, guys. It's a guided return to your essence. I'm going to have you go through yoga, meditation, nourishing meals, farm to table, nature-based rituals, and we're going to get this chance to reconnect with your body, your purpose, and your power. So if your soul has been whispering, there's more for me. This is your sign. Visit fitsinyoga.com to reserve your spot because you are in the business of yourself and business is always evolving. Welcome back to The Fitzen Project. I'm your host, Rachel Fitzpatrick. And today I have a super special guest with me, Mindy Rosen. And this is really cool for me as a podcaster because, Mindy, I feel like you're like my first superstar. Because you have been in this coaching realm and people know you and you've worked for some well-known people that are in coaching. TV shows and like on the medias and everything. And I'm just, I'm feeling like rocked right now that I even get to sit with you. And we met through Kathy Heller's program, which is also so much fun. But Mindy, you're a blessing to everybody, even virtually. So like me.

UNKNOWN:

Yeah.

SPEAKER_00:

I want to reflect back to you. What an honor to be here with you. And just to bring clarity as we get started, I didn't work for HGTV or very recently a radio show. What I'll share with you, which might be a beautiful way to kick off our conversation, everything revolves around building relationships and through that, just as Kathy Eller speaks into things, just you magnetize opportunities towards you.

SPEAKER_01:

Absolutely.

SPEAKER_00:

So both of those opportunities were pure synchronicities that just I was blessed with the opportunity for both because they were both different and very different.

SPEAKER_01:

It was so cool. But like with your HGTV and you said you worked with Tony Robbins for, through?

SPEAKER_00:

Through the years, yes. I facilitated. So I... After I had been through all of, it's actually referred to as Master University, I stepped in and they call it crewing. So in essence, I got to wear many, many hats, which grew me in so many different ways over the course of a handful of years. And it was from that place on, many years ago that I started to hear the message made for more, but it was being in immersion in that community that really allowed me to deepen my own edges and grow. It's always inner first.

SPEAKER_01:

Yes, absolutely. That is cool because like, I think that's probably what propelled you to be such a great coach and mentor today's world, right? I mean, I feel like you're phenomenal. I've only gotten to spend a handful of time with you, like a little bit of time. And just with my little bit of time, I'm like, she sees right through me. She could see my soul. I'm like, I'm always feeling a lot of uplift after I leave. Just our small conversations.

SPEAKER_00:

Thank you so much for that beautiful feedback. And for me, I look at it as it's my life's work. And hearing that message made for more that allowed me to take that next right step, whether it had been a certification, whether it had been in immersion, in retreats, and through all of that, it really led and grew me to become an extraordinary coach where From this place, the aperture is so wide and I've worked with so many people over the past four years. And through that, it's really helped me identify like, who do I love to serve?

SPEAKER_02:

And

SPEAKER_00:

how can I really be a beneficial presence in the world and make a difference coming through the lens of service?

SPEAKER_01:

Yeah, I like that step one, that clarity. Yeah. step one that I feel like is one of the hardest things to identify as a newbie coming in and seeing this is like a my very first time looking at like fireworks, for example, like this is like my very first time seeing a holiday fireworks show. And I am like, wow, what is the first step to even get to this level of of extraordinary right like you go from good to great to extraordinary and you're like you got to get clarity got it clear

SPEAKER_00:

yeah i

SPEAKER_01:

love that

SPEAKER_00:

everything is clarity and the more clarity you have it's my thought that that enables you to step into the unknown with 1000% certainty, not that you know everything, yet that with that clarity, it enables you to take that step to step in and perhaps get exposed to new experiences that a week before, a month before, a year before, you would have never imagined. Like I know for myself, a year ago, I, It wasn't part of my thought process or on my radar. Oh, I'm going to be on HGTV on a new show. And, you know, not only speaking in front of a lot of people, but to also be on TV. So it was really through clarity that enabled me to really have the belief in what's possible.

SPEAKER_01:

Yeah, absolutely. Yeah. So when you were starting this, what was your biggest thing that you had to overcome? You know how sometimes we're here and we keep... For me, for example, this is a me thing. When I'm in this, I keep coming back to sometimes the same question. And for me, that's where am I going to live? How am I going to live? What do I want my life to look like? What did I envision it to be like at 38? So like, that's my continuous place of home. What was yours? And then like, what was that overcoming moment? like that strategy for you to get to where you could move from this level to this level

SPEAKER_00:

that is such a great question and when i look back over the course of time since fully stepping in to what i'm doing in in the world it really um there are many things and I don't think that overcoming stops. I feel that it's a continuous process. But when I look back, I, and I, you asked, you know, what did I have to overcome? It was, I think it was really overcoming my own limiting beliefs in do I know enough? Have I taken, you know, have I absorbed enough information?

SPEAKER_02:

Who

SPEAKER_00:

am I? to step in. So that's a lot of the things that I have overcome and still, because again, as you grow and you scale and you're stepping into new ways of connection, it's still about breaking through whatever might come up and getting to the root of why you're having those thoughts, feelings, emotions.

SPEAKER_01:

Yeah, that's tough. To acknowledge the root of it, of the why. To me, that's tough.

SPEAKER_00:

And when you say it's tough, that's so interesting because I hear that often, is that it's about choosing an empowering word instead of tough. Because when I hear you say tough, to me, that's you're imprinting a message that in your subconscious mind that it is going to be challenging, that it is going to be tough. Yet if you chose a word that when your feet hit the floor, that's empowering, it changes the relationship with the block that's here, surface level. And then that's what allows you to get curious and get down to the root.

SPEAKER_01:

Holy crap, I should be taking notes. That is, I'll have a transcript at least. That is, yeah, you're exactly right. And I feel like I tell people this a lot, but this is like my own medicine. So this is, this is a cure all.

SPEAKER_00:

And I want to honor you like the way that you just took courageous action. And you had a thought that And from that thought, you collected some information. And then the next step is I'm going to step in and I'm going to launch a podcast. So in a sense, life is a mirror. So what you see in me is in you. It's just might not in all areas be as evolved. But I see you looking and I honor the process and the path that you've taken. Just having the courage to to gather information again and buy a mic and whatever process has to come but i'm so glad that you did it because you've given me the belief rachel to believe as it's one of my goals and i'm a i'm a believer that i choose one big goal a year so for next year I want to follow right behind you. And you've led the way not only for myself, but for many, many other extraordinary women to know that it's possible.

SPEAKER_01:

Yeah, podcasting has been so much fun. It has been a light that I didn't know I needed to navigate life with, if that makes sense. It's like a little flashlight each week. And each conversation brings so much joy. More relative information for my life. Like I feel like it's like my like therapy sessions on blast. That's what I feel like these kind of are. But they're also like so relative to anyone. I feel like our conversations are conversations that I've had in the podcast. I think this will be my episode 13. You might be lucky number 13 that goes out to the world. So I'm so honored. I can't even believe that I've even made it up to this many, but also like that I get to have somebody like you in this presence. So that is so cool. But thank you for honoring that because it's been, it's been a blast. It really has been. So with you and your career, I guess, so this podcast is mainly about project management, which is so relative to all life and i love to mix in some yoga some somatic works and everything from meditation to movement of energy in your body and you know, you were just talking about how to get clear and clarity. And I was just talking about how these things are tough. And what we would say in a project management world would be like a work breakdown structure. And you just peel the onion layer until there is no more things to peel. So that's life, right? In real life, project management is real life. So like, what is one, do you have a story you'd like to share where that would kind of like, flow with the somatic piece and like things that you've used tools you've used to get your own personal project underway

SPEAKER_00:

absolutely uh the methodology that i weave in to whatever I am doing in the coaching world, whether it be holding space one-on-one, whether it be a mastermind, or whether it be immersion in person or virtually, is I look at it as really being able to approach things on five levels. And it's part of the methodology in which I was trained in. So It's always, it's called SEMBU. So somatic, emotional, mental, behavioral, and unconscious work.

SPEAKER_01:

Oh, I don't think I've heard of that before.

SPEAKER_00:

And through that, through those five levels, I look at that as a way to manage and hold space in it. Although it's a different way of looking at it, It's a roadmap. It's a blueprint. Because when you clear things on all five levels, that is another element of being able to get to the root. And then not that we're ever looking to let go of things, but it allows you to transform the relationship that you have with a given situation.

SPEAKER_01:

Absolutely. I can think of one where I've done myself. You know how we're walked back to our child, our inner child, where we've, I've been in meditations and perhaps you participated in these. I know through Kathy, she's led us through a few just this year, but mainly like going back and meeting your child as you and And then you also have like this person is you and then your future person. There's a meditation on her abundant life thing that they come back in and you can talk to them. But you kind of like reset the nervous system for perhaps a memory that was a traumatic response or something like that. But as you today and like looking at it through a different lens, is that one of your techniques that you use? I...

SPEAKER_00:

I do weave in a good deal of inner child work and also parts work.

SPEAKER_01:

Yeah.

SPEAKER_00:

And by implementing or facilitating parts work, it does allow you to meet that little one

SPEAKER_02:

and

SPEAKER_00:

this version. And there's lots of different ways that I weave it into that given situation. And each situation is different. And oftentimes I will tie that if somebody's resourced with somatic work. Somatic work is one of the things that I've been trained in. And I find that oftentimes in what would take three regular sessions by implementing the somatic work, it really does shave off. Mm-hmm. Yeah. I

SPEAKER_01:

love the coaching aspect of that. the work as well because you're able to then offer these practical insights for next steps and like how to continue to move on are you able to give some examples of those like once you've gone into this um say you've had a client and you've gone into that somatic work once they've been resourced like what does that look like when you do your next steps and such

UNKNOWN:

Bye.

SPEAKER_01:

Hey, do you love what you hear? Would you consider buying me a coffee? Creating the Fitzen Project is a labor of love, a few late nights. And if you've been moved, inspired, or entertained by stories that I'm sharing, consider showing your support by buying me a coffee or leave me a review. Your support's going to help me keep the podcast ad-free and authentic, bring on more amazing guests like Mindy Rosen or Trish Briggle from last week, and cover production costs to keep the good vibe So if you could check out the show notes, you can buy me a coffee there. There's a link for that. And there's also another link where you could support the show. You can also leave a review. Five stars go a long ways and every cup fuels more soul filled conversations. So thank you for being part of this journey.

SPEAKER_03:

Music

SPEAKER_00:

That's a great question. I'm always moving through three parts. So I'm bringing awareness to whatever is most alive and present. So if I was holding space for you right now, I would have you perhaps share what is most present. And it could be anything. It could be, let's just use the example you mentioned, where am I going to live? Yeah. And really like bringing that to light.

SPEAKER_01:

Yeah.

SPEAKER_00:

So you have that awareness and then moving in with acceptance, like, and this is where oftentimes blocks might appear. And it's about working through the block and all of the things that surround that. And then weaving in, it could be forgiveness work at that point to forgive the judgment or the misunderstanding. And then from that place, moving into aligned action. I

SPEAKER_01:

love it. Again, I feel like you're staring right into my soul when we're talking about this. I'm like, oh man, she's talking to me, y'all. This has nothing to do with you.

SPEAKER_03:

I

SPEAKER_01:

think that is awesome, though, because it's so it makes so much sense to me. Again, like I've paid so much money in therapy. I've gone to all these things. But what I've noticed just this year, and this was my my big year goal, was to kind of find a mentor and a coach. And what does that even mean or look like? I had no idea. And then I just like, we've talked like this whole program just fell into my lap and then you fell into my lap. Like you, it's just all of these like abundant gifts of people and relationship. And I would 10 out of 10 recommend to anybody to search out this type of, um, involvement. Like it's a. never ending evolving cycle, but you kind of need people like you to help find that and like get into you to get out of your own way. Right.

SPEAKER_00:

Yeah. And it's such a gift. Like I, over the course of my life, I have pivoted a handful of times. And when I look back, anything that I stepped in, cause it's who I am, I, you know, my vigor and my tenacity was shaped as a little girl through sports. And I feel that through that, it's given me the wisdom to know that although I might have had, you know, success in a certain area, that success without fulfillment leaves you just at a place of knowing that something's off, that you're not in alignment. And from that place, each time I've pivoted, it's grown me so much in so many different ways. And it's brought me through a process that has really gotten me to the here and now, which I consider this chapter in so many ways the best chapter of my life, where Every single morning, I wake up and when my feet hit the floor, I'm like, I don't know what it is. And in life, we never need to know the how. Yet, it's my intention every day, every morning that I said, to make a difference with one person. So for today, what an honor to have this conversation with you. from that place it really allows you to dance through life with ease and grace and flow not to say that things don't come up because in our human experience things do happen yet when they come up i find that i can move things through things so much um in a quicker pace because of all the tools

SPEAKER_01:

Yeah. You're like at the speed of light because you are a light, you know, like you, like I can tell that you literally aren't telling 100% of the truth because I'm your friend on social media and I can, I just receive so much from you when your feet hit the floor and you're just happy to even be like, yes, today's going to be the best day. I already know it because you post these like beautiful beautiful experiences and also they're like nudges for people who read it like me to be better than you were yesterday or five minutes ago and it's a nice daily reminder where i'm on my scroll i'm so happy that you're like in my top five i can look into that and i've just read it and then i'm off social media until the next day whatever but yours today you said today it was The year is halfway over, and this has been one of the best years of your life already. I mean, who can say that and mean it? I can. I really do believe this has been the best year of my life already, which doesn't mean that my last years were terrible. It just means I've been amplified so much. But it's that... amplified that vision that energy that you just emit all the time it's

SPEAKER_00:

great so much so i'm curious two things why um has this been one of the best years of your life and now that we are halfway through the year what needs to happen between now and the end of december to truly say Oh my God, when you call me on December 31st and you're like, oh my gosh, Mindy, remember that conversation that we had back at the end of June? And this is why this has been the most extraordinary year of my life.

SPEAKER_01:

So many things have happened to me, so... Where to begin? Okay, so I randomly found this coaching program on like December 28th and signed up right away. January 1st, I've been in it. So I've meditated every single day. And now it's June 30th. And through that, things have shifted in myself. I received a promotion at work that... I've really just wrote in my review. I was like, wouldn't it be nice if I was a project executive and blah, blah, blah, you know, that like they were just like, yeah, I would. Here you go. But so I got that and it was wonderful. I wanted to do a retreat this year. So I planned that for October 9th through 12th. I'm so excited about that. I didn't know that I wanted to do podcasting, but I'm doing it. And the cherry on top is I went to Europe with my love, and we got engaged at the beginning of this month, so June 2nd. And I've already said yes to the dress. It's just been like everything's just fallen into place. I

SPEAKER_00:

love that for you. I am so celebrating you. And you are glowing

SPEAKER_01:

from

SPEAKER_00:

head to toe.

SPEAKER_01:

Thank you. I feel like it. I feel like I'm floating constantly. But it's been glorious. And also I taught a yoga class at my very first yoga festival, the Kentucky Yoga Festival. I can't leave that out because that was a heightened experience in May. That was really cool. That sounds incredible. Yeah. Yeah. So what would make the rest of the year even more palpable? I'm like, finding out exactly where I want to live would be a good idea. And I'm not even like in the most position to move, but for some reason I'm feeling that urge and that need of change. And I'm really trying to dive into that if it's like, is it a need to change because I'm restless? Or is it a need to change because I want Josh and I to have like our own space and thrive with our son? Or is it... a need to change because I feel something coming, like career-wise, and I want to be set up in a location that's more conducive to life instead of rural Kentucky. So yeah, there's a lot of, I don't know, of like, I

SPEAKER_00:

don't know. And the unknown is such a beautiful place to embark upon. Intuitively, this is what's coming through to me. And it's the methodology I use in my meditative practice, which I've learned over the years through Dr. Joe Dispenza and incorporated to me, you know, my own in what I'm doing to get clarity and call things in. But I would just list out four or five, what you are looking for in the things that you just mentioned?

SPEAKER_02:

Is

SPEAKER_00:

it on a lake? Is it on a beach? And to give more context and clarity to this, for the past, this coming winter will be our fourth winter. And I use this exact methodology to call in, not the first year that we were in Miami, but the second, to really call in exactly what it looked like. Like I knew that I wanted it to be directly on the ocean. I knew that I wanted it to be on a high floor. I knew what area I wanted it to be in. And I also knew that I wanted my office to be facing right out where, you know, if I was on a call like this, I could look right out and I could see the ocean. I could hear the ocean. I could smell the ocean.

SPEAKER_01:

That is lovely.

SPEAKER_00:

And then pick four or five emotions that are tied to where you're going to live.

SPEAKER_01:

Yeah.

SPEAKER_00:

And then use this in your meditative practice to call it in and then just leave it to the universe. Like the beautiful... synchronicities that have appeared for you already this year.

SPEAKER_01:

Right.

SPEAKER_00:

And watch what just showed up. And when I used this the first year or second, because we had gone the first year and I got curious, went to go look at different buildings and whatnot and had a very clear picture. So from that place, it enabled me to visualize, you know, what it was going to feel like. And when we started to look for the second year, They wouldn't work with me until closer to the end of the summer. So three years ago, I got very intentional about reaching out to start the process using this formula. And within a week, it showed up.

SPEAKER_01:

Within a week?

SPEAKER_00:

Within a week. Working with two realtors, one from New Jersey, one from Miami,

SPEAKER_02:

it

SPEAKER_00:

did show up. And Interestingly enough, that year I knew my office was going to be right there, but I perfected it in a whole new manner for the second year, meaning last year. I wanted to be in a unit that was in the same building, still on the high floor, but there was a particular unit that we couldn't see besides a few pictures. I wanted a unit that had just been remodeled. So I used a similar formula, put it in the work to, in essence, I guess, be awarded the bid for that unit. And when we walked in this year, I didn't know like what, like if there was going to be a desk, if there was going to be a place there. And sure enough, there was a place. We had to order a desk this year, but this is to me, such a beautiful process that you can use with anything, whether it is, it can be used in any area of your life because I've tested in many different areas.

SPEAKER_01:

Right.

SPEAKER_00:

Yeah.

SPEAKER_01:

I mean, lo and behold, you know, now I know I'm going to be doing this like six months. We'll be doing this process for sure. I'm going to go back and listen to all of this too. And like, write down your acronym SIMPU. Simbu, somatic, emotional, mental, behavioral, unconscious. Correct. Yeah.

SPEAKER_00:

And I had the gift, the gift prior to this container that you and I are both in this mastermind working with an extraordinary human. She is just an incredible, incredible, making a big, big difference in the world. And this, her work is five years progressive than any other type of methodology that's out there. And that's where I got exposed. And that is truly where, I mean, I did all the hard work, yet where I was able to grow and step in and evolve more. myself to be able to hold space for others and really go from a good, you know, good to great to an extraordinary coach. And I say extraordinary because the learning never stops yet from this place, you know, over the course of really the past four years. It's given me the wisdom to work with people to not just be, you know, surface level. Right. Where the block is. And they often appear, but really to be able to get down to the root. And oftentimes that's where that inner child or that parts where it comes in, because they're not things that happened in the here and now. You might've had a situation that occurred, yet it really is something that was formulated between the ages of two and seven.

SPEAKER_01:

Right. Yeah. Yeah. That is some beautiful work. So where can people find you if they're interested in your coaching program and your offerings? What do you have going on?

SPEAKER_00:

Well, I'd love to offer your audience. I have a PDF called 10 Tips to Abundance. So I'll give that to you for the show notes. And if anybody wants to reach out, they can go to Mindy, M-I-N-D-E-E-J Rosen.com. That's my website. And across all social media, I'm listed as Mindy Rosen.

SPEAKER_01:

Perfect. So beautiful. I hope you get 100,000 people that will just be like, hey, I heard you on the Fitzen Project. I'm going to... What do you got for me? And no, in all reality, I believe in your work and everything that you provide to the world. I love so much that you've taken... for lack of better words, like the hard out of the research process for people like me, these newbies in this new world. realm of life. And you've been able to compile what works, what doesn't with your years of experience. And that's what I really love to hear from you and what I see resonate with you. And every time we get into this space together, I can hear it come up and out. And I'd appreciate that so much because a lot of people like me, we don't know where to start. There's so much out there. There's so many ways avenues but I know just by being with you and listening with you in a public forum and in our private that you've I mean just knowing that I'm in the same container as you knows I made the right decision and then knowing that I get to have this one-on-one with you and hearing where you've been and what all you've been through and coming up with I just I I know you've got the goods. So I'm excited for you and to see your business thrive even more because it's worth it for sure.

SPEAKER_00:

Thank you so much. And again, thank you for having me as your guest and being lucky 13. I'm

SPEAKER_03:

so honored.

SPEAKER_00:

Can't wait to continue to witness you step in to all that you're stepping into. And it's just a gift that nothing happens by accident that we're in this container together. And I'm just grateful for the here and now and for what will come as we continue to build our friendship and support one another in the things that we're doing in the world.

SPEAKER_01:

Yes. And maybe in a year from now, I'll be such a professional podcaster. I will give you all of the tips and tricks to make it and do it. And you don't have to go through this long research process of what works and

SPEAKER_00:

what doesn't. I would be honored. I'll

SPEAKER_01:

give you all the stuff.

SPEAKER_00:

As I shared, my goal is to launch something early next year. Right now, I'm really taking in and listening to a handful of podcasts and observing people like you that have had the courage to go before me. And to me, it's the back end part of it that has me at hello, but yet... I'm using my own work to not allow that to block me as I know that what is not in my genius, I've got some spectacular support and what I don't have support with, I can outsource.

SPEAKER_01:

Absolutely. Absolutely. Phone a friend, call me. I'm here for that too. All right. Well, thank you so much, Mindy. You're so beautiful and I just appreciate you so much. Thank you. Thank you. All right. I don't know. I will cut this part out. But seriously, thank you.

SPEAKER_00:

What a gift. That was just beautiful.
