Shoulder mobility isn't just about stretching.

If you want to comfortably press overhead, throw, carry, climb, or perform other activities that require a lot of shoulder motion, you also need the strength and control to use the range of motion you have.

In this episode of The Black Lion Blueprint, I break down seven areas you can work on to improve your shoulder mobility:

  1. Improve thoracic extension
  2. Improve thoracic rotation
  3. Address lat stiffness when it's limiting your motion
  4. Address pec minor stiffness when relevant
  5. Strengthen the muscles that control your scapula
  6. Strengthen your rotator cuff
  7. Strength train through your available range of motion

You'll also learn why strength training and mobility work don't have to be separate and how training through a comfortable range of motion can help you build strength while maintaining or improving mobility.
