Returning guest Renetta Ascher Caya joins Stephanie Gambetta for a fun, honest conversation about peptides, GLP-1 microdosing, hormones, strength training, and the wellness habits that actually make a difference in midlife. Renetta shares how she travels with peptides, the dosing mistake that led to an unforgettable holiday disaster, and the treatments she consistently keeps in her routine. Together, they challenge common GLP-1 myths, explain why muscle loss is often connected to nutrition and lifestyle rather than the medication alone, compare oral peptides with injections, and build peptide stacks for fat loss, recovery, longevity, sleep, and brain health. They also discuss blood work, testosterone pellets, cold plunges, creatine, protein, peptide quality, and the importance of finding an approach that works for your individual body. Plus, Stephanie introduces the new Loop Health app and the support it will provide for peptide protocols, reconstitution, dosing reminders, nutrition, workouts, and community.

This conversation shares personal experiences and is intended for educational purposes. Individual health needs vary, so work with a qualified healthcare professional before beginning or changing any treatment.

SPEAKER_03

I personally believe, and I bet you would say the same thing, like every single man and woman in their middle-in age should be on a microdose of a GLP. Yeah. Just from an insulin resistance standpoint and their inflammation for their body, their brain, like nothing to do with weight loss. Like it's not the GLP, guys. It's your lifestyle. So yes, if you're not eating, your hair's gonna fall out. Like I don't care if you're on a GLP or not. Like if you're not eating, your bone density is gonna go down. If you're not lifting weights, your bone density is gonna chances are get brittle and go down. If you're not eating correctly, I mean all the things, like it's so easy. Everyone wants to blame the damn GLP. That's like there's so many things when they they ask the question, and I kind of put it back on them, and I'm just like, but if something is gonna help you feel so much better, I think the opposite question would be like, can I be on this the rest of my life? Like, that's what I ask. Like, do I ever have to go off of this?

SPEAKER_01

Yes.

SPEAKER_03

So I don't know. I think it's also not understanding, like, it becomes a lifestyle, it becomes an ease. Like, it's like if you're used to getting up and working out every day, like you're used to it. Do you get to do that the rest of your life, or do you have to do that the rest of your life? I think it's a good question to ask yourself. Right. Welcome to Loot Podcast. Welcome to Luke Podcast, where we dive deep into all things health, wellness, and fitness. Plus, the fascinating world of peptides. Each episode, we bring you insights from experts and guests from across the industry to help you optimize your health and longevity. I'm your host, Steph. Now let's jump in. Welcome back to Loop Way Podcast. So I have this epiphany. I don't know if any of you have noticed, but yeah, I've been kicked off Instagram since July 1st again, and um kind of waiting for it to come back. I think my Stephanie Gambetta one is supposed to come back first, but we will see. So in the meantime, I'm like, wait, how else can I talk about? Well, anyway, I can't talk about peptides on Instagram, but I can talk about peptides in other platforms. So I was like, all right, I'm gonna do something different with my podcast moving forward. In the intro, I want to talk about kind of what's going on in my life a little bit, since I can't talk about it on social media. So a little life update, and then a little bit of a the loop way update. And then I want to kind of focus on either a peptide or a coaching success story or something that I want to share where I can't share somewhere else. And as frustrated as I am, there have been some benefits to being off social media, I have to tell you. I actually suggest everyone takes a month off of social media at some point because the process for me was obviously it went down again, and I felt super frustrated. Like I had worked so hard to build the loop way after losing Stephanie Gambetta. And we had traction and it was growing into a really good community. And then all of a sudden, for no reason, just so you know, like every time I post something, I have our lawyers check it, I have our social media team check it. AI did a sweep and attached it to my other um social media and just took it down. So no rhyme or reason, but it you know, it realizes like you can't control everything. What can you control? I can control this podcast, I can control my Substack, and I can control one other thing that I'm about to talk about. But in the meantime, I just want to talk about like my experience being off social media. In the beginning, besides my frustration, it was like okay, well, it was July 1st. I had a big time kind of with my family coming up. And it's weird, and maybe it's like when you're addicted to something or that not even addicted, but like when something's in your life, they say it takes a certain amount of days to break a habit. I just was off Instagram. So like I wasn't even I had nothing to look at. So I wasn't snooping on other people's European vacations, wishing I was there. I wasn't looking at Fourth of July's and people on yachts and wishing I was on a yacht, or I wasn't, I mean, you know what I'm talking about. Like there just wasn't this distraction. And I was kind of sad in the beginning. I was like, oh, I kind of miss this. And now, like, I want it back for my business. And yes, do I miss some of my friends? But it is really refreshing. Um, I've not on my phone very often. I have so much time on my hands, and I was really present during my family vacation. So, like, that's the benefit, one of the benefits of not being on it. Now, for my business, it's definitely been hurting my business, so that's hard. And I do hope I get back on. However, so what I've created um is a company called Loop Health, and it is an amazing online app community. We've been working for months and months super hard on this. And imagine an app that has a community where you can be on chat groups for anything you're kind of going through. Let's say it is menopause, perimenopause. It could be anything from men's health to workouts to nutrition to I'm new to peptides, um, to I'm trying to think of all the great chat groups that we have on there. But the idea is that like peptides aren't meant to be taken in isolation, they're meant to be taken in community. And I had a bunch of my own communities that I had kind of formed through my coaching groups, and I realized that they're kind of coaching each other on their own in these communities. And I thought, why don't I create an app that solves all the problems that I need on my peptide journey? And one of it is you want community and you want to ask questions because it's not a one size fits all. So imagine there's coaches, doctors, nurses, and all of you on there chatting with each other about your different experiences and seeing what works and does it work and give tips. It's hopefully gonna be a much better place to actually get real information that you need other than social media, which is super confusing. So, not only that is I've hired a handful of new coaches. They've trained them. A lot of them have been coaching on their own, and we brought them into the Luke community. So you can find a support system that works best for you. There's only one of me, and I actually literally am obsessed with my whole coaching team. I have a doctor who specializes in hormones. I now have telehealth. So if you do need hormones, you can get your hormones also through our telehealth. We'll always have our research-based peptides because to me, that's where the best ones live. But the point is you have a lot of options. We also, because you've been asking, so I have filmed my workouts with Brad. Brad's actually gonna come on my next podcast and kind of talk to you guys about it. But what it is is you get a workout with me. And so the way we work out is we do the two different sets of exercises. You can do it once a week. So you do one workout one day and another workout another day, or you can double up and do four days a week. I personally like to do four days a week, but you can start off with just two. You'll do the same sets for three weeks. So you'll get really, really good at it. You can do it on the gym on your own, and you can do it in your home gym if you have that. It's designed where it looks very professional, it's easy to follow, and Brad explains it very well. There's a men's version that my boyfriend does, and there's my version. So you're gonna get access to that. I have a coach who's also a nutritionist who works on macros. So we're gonna be sharing like lots of different recipes for protein. I don't know about you, but like or me. I'm just a person who's like so sick of my own protein. So, how do we inspire each other? We're gonna do a lot of lives. So imagine on a Friday night, Thursday night, whenever you want to get on and just talk to somebody. Someone will be on there talking about their macros and like how what does a macro mean? What does a macro count mean? They might bring in a nutritionist friend, but almost like a Peloton, except we're on there really talking about all these different health modalities and we're there to support you. We're gonna have reconstitution calls on Tuesdays and Thursdays where you can actually go with the coach and everyone's on there reconstituting their peptides for the first time, injecting. And the last thing, besides a few other bells and whistles that you'll learn when you get on there, is that how frustrating it is it to remember to take your peptide, how much, when to cycle, when to reorder. So there is a place on the app where you're gonna put in your peptides. It'll tell you what your dosage is, how much to reconstitute, remind you to take your peptides in the morning, and also you'll get a notification when it's time to reorder. Plus, all these discounts you get to other people who are in the health and wellness community that wanted to share their discounts codes with us. So, to be honest, like I've been working really hard since you haven't been seeing me online. And you're all gonna get a free 30 to 45 days, kind of depending if your current clients or not, to come and just check it out. If you're on peptides or not, it's just a place to hang out and learn more. Knowledge is power, as I always say. And we have some of the best protocols. All our protocols will live on the Loop Health app. Plus, we'll have specialized protocols and we will also have supplements. So the supplements that go along with the peptide protocol, and you can order them right there on legit script. So my dream was to create a place off, quote, social media line and in where you can hang out with like-minded people and get all the support that you need. Because this is truly like a lifestyle journey and a change. And I just feel at the end of the day, we all just need to be there supporting each other. And I think if you've been following along on this podcast, you know that I don't gatekeep, and you know that I just really want everyone to feel as good as I feel. And so more information will come on our app. So check that out. And in the meantime, I will give you as many updates as I can on my weekly podcast. Since I'm not on social media yet, and let's all say a prayer, I get back soon. All right, and no further ado, I'm gonna welcome my next guest. Okay. Every once in a while, I have a guest who like maybe goes viral. Um, and I'm like looking at my stats and being like, Renette, Renettaya, you are going viral. So anyway, I'm like, let's have her back. I want a life update. We're gonna have fun today. This is gonna be a little bit different. We're gonna just say two girlfriends bantering. We're gonna play some games with each other on peptides that will educate you, but also just I want to have fun with it. I think life's been too heavy, getting kicked off Instagram. So today's podcast will be educational, fun, two girlfriends, and obviously you guys really liked her, so I thought I'd have her back. So no further ado, welcome back, Renev. Thanks. Thanks for letting me come back on the show. I know I'm so glad that you're in town.

SPEAKER_02

This was a surprise call for sure.

SPEAKER_03

I know. In your jet setting.

SPEAKER_02

Yes, yes, and I'm home for right now.

SPEAKER_03

I feel like we're also like two ships in the night sometimes right now.

SPEAKER_02

We got we have a double date on the books now. So I know.

SPEAKER_03

We're actually being asked her at the same time. I know. With a crossover. Okay, so let's give our listeners like what's an update since when I don't know, when were you on?

SPEAKER_02

I mean, was it like Caesar?

SPEAKER_03

Do you know when she was on? Okay, he's gonna look it up. Okay, but what's the life update? Like, you've gotten really in pet sides, which I think is really cool.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, yeah, we're having another pep side talk at the house. So that's fun. Um, let's see, life update, travel to Italy. That was gorgeous, beautiful. Did you stay on your pet sides? Um I am, I did take my GLP with me. Okay, because um, I mean, now that we're going really, really deep, I guess, in this, I am one of the reasons why I always take my GLP with me is because I um been diagnosed with IBS. And so for 20 years, I was constipated, if you will. And that turned into irritable bitch syndrome as one who has. And so if I go travel, and everyone may have this problem, um, like I won't go to the bathroom. So I bring my GLP purely for that reason, not to not, but I ate pasta every single day, along with, you know, tomatoes, mozzarella. We were in Italy, so that whole meal, pizza at least three times, and I didn't gain a pound. So yeah, that was the best.

SPEAKER_03

Well, you know, it's interesting too. I remember you telling me this, because a lot of people like get constipated on their you're the opposite.

SPEAKER_02

Right, I'm the opposite. I know another person who's the opposite. I don't necessarily know the science behind that, but it is such a relief to have you know be able to go to the bathroom and not have to worry about that. Well, I also think that's the same. And now I had some other medication before that, prescription medication, and this is such a much better process. Have you been on KPV? So I did go on KPV after I got um my blood work done, and I had some autoimmune markers that are high and like red flagged. And so I did the um KPV for I think what was what is that like three, you do almost three vials, right? It's a vial a week, I think. No, KPV is just right, like three months. Three months, that's what it was. And I just did my blood work this morning, so I don't know how that's looking, but it's one of my favorites.

SPEAKER_03

Like literally, it's kind of a sleeper because you're like, well, I'm a BPC for my gut. And um BPC is guys the peptide that actually was derived from stomach gastric juices, so it is something that helps your gut amongst many other things.

SPEAKER_02

And I do take that orally when we're traveling, yeah, which is great.

SPEAKER_03

That's good. But KPV, I love for you to try because it really, really helps heal just the gut, and it's an overall great recovery and really good inflammation. But like it is now I kind of have a few that I just take like you would your vitamins. Obviously, I cycle off, but they're kind of always in my rotation. Right. It's it's a good one, especially if you have the IBS. I think it'd help a lot.

SPEAKER_02

Right. I'm gonna try that one. I want to do it again. I want to see how those these markers are. Yeah, because I did like the um anyone, like the advice test, and that's all the autoimmune markers, and there's just like little red ones here and there, but not enough to you know diagnose. But the doctor has said to me very clearly that the GLPs are keeping any of these immune markers.

SPEAKER_03

Because your inflammation is really under control.

SPEAKER_02

And that's what a lot of autoimmune disorders end up being. I mean symptom control.

SPEAKER_03

So one that's interesting, I had some coaching calls today, and there were two paramedophones. Well, actually, one was a was an 31-year-old and the other one was a pyramid of muscle woman. And we were just chatting, and I'm like, and I keep saying this, like I personally believe, and I bet you would say the same thing, like every single man and woman in their middle-in age should be on a microdose of a GLP just from an insulin resistance standpoint and their inflammation for their body, their brain, like nothing to do with weight loss.

SPEAKER_02

Right. I I 100% agree. I have I have a couple friends and they've like lost their, you know, they only have like maybe 10 pounds, they just look a lot, and they're like, okay, so what do I do? How do I get off? And I'm like, well, you gotta you go slow and low and go get yourself to the lowest point possible. I go, but what I why do you want to get off so badly? Like what are you thinking is happening? Because I go, the advantages through the studies are really showing, like the decrease in dementia, the decrease in the inflammation, all of these positive things in your life. I go, get your blood work done first and like see see where we're at with it.

SPEAKER_03

Yes. I mean, well, and I feel like that's too where like I'm like, let's get the stigma out the window of it. Like, this is such bullshit. And also, like, don't be holier than thou about it either. It's just like it's not that deep. It's a tool kind of helps to tell because people wonder, like, I've had a lot of people go, I'm scared to travel in Europe with them, and I'm like, I've traveled everywhere. Tell them your experience. Like, because it's, I mean, what do you think about it?

SPEAKER_02

Oh, yeah. I mean, I just have my little, I I well, I'm I'm very excited to hear about your app because I have pencil boxes and I prep all my needles and I put them in, and then each one's labeled BPC, 10 units. Like, and I have the label maker out, and I do all that. So that has like eight cases, and that's kind of overwhelming for some people, but that's how I usually like prep. But I think with your app, you're telling me that it's gonna tell me what to do, what to mix, everything is gonna go on there. So I'm kind of like really excited to use that. But when I travel, I use a travel case, I ice it, or and and then I bring the needles and I mix it there sometimes so that it doesn't have to totally be cold the whole time. And no one cares. Yeah, no, no, I oh, I've never had a problem with TSA.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah, I think you are afraid they're gonna get taken away.

SPEAKER_02

And I was like, Oh yeah, no.

SPEAKER_03

I'm like, I travel, and I mean obviously domestically I travel a ton, but I also traveled international tonight. Never once. No, never once.

SPEAKER_02

No, and then I take the um anything I can take in the the pill format, um, the BPC and then the um AT the ATX and then the 501 and sloop.

SPEAKER_03

There's a handful too, I think, that I tell people too. It's like if you want to just take a break, it's like great to travel with those. I mean, you travel, I probably say more than me.

SPEAKER_02

Maybe, I don't know. Yeah, some months it feels like that for sure. For sure. Oh my gosh. So yeah, I I bring them and I've never had a problem and never been stopped, and I I do it for definitely like my digestion. Right. It's not about weight loss when we're in Italy, for sure.

SPEAKER_03

No, wouldn't you say too, like the number one thing is just being consistent?

SPEAKER_02

Yes, being consistent for sure. Yes. And and even then, like, you know, I'm not working out and lifting weights when we're gone for two weeks, but we're putting in our 10,000 steps a day for sure, through Rome and all those other places.

SPEAKER_03

And just like enjoying life. I think that's I think that's the thing I talk about a lot, is like I think some people think I'm like this crazy person. I'm like, if you looked at my life, like I don't even have time to be a crazy person. Like, I think from all the stuff that we've going on, that you're like the older we get, I'm just kind of like just keep it all in check and balance, and then like the tools that you figure out that work for you. Right. Like, you don't gotta change it all, too.

SPEAKER_02

Right, for sure.

SPEAKER_03

Like, so what from your peptide journey, what would you say are how has it changed? Like, is there ones that like you really kind of do on a regular basis? Are there ones you're like, ah, this didn't really work for me? Like, where are you in with like how you do your own? Because you're very you went through my course, you're very knowledgeable. Um train other people.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, no, I well, you know, we we I did I'd done your course and trained a couple couple people, and like I've made my own mistakes. Like, I had to call you during Christmas because you have to tell the story.

SPEAKER_03

Oh my god. You guys, this is the best, one of the best questions.

SPEAKER_02

My partner, Joel. Um, he um he wanted to do um 75 Heart. I don't know if you've heard about that, but it's a little insane, and it's two workouts a day, and it's you know very restrictive. And he was like, I just want to like really get in shape and lose like these eight pounds.

SPEAKER_03

And I was like By the way, isn't he already in crazy shape?

SPEAKER_02

Yes, he's in crazy great shape, and it's his birthday, and he looks phenomenal on Friday. So, but I was like, Oh, you're not, you're we're not doing that. We're you're flying back and forth to Denver, it's cold at night, like you're not gonna be running the hills. So I was like, just just try it at GLP, like a very light dose. I think this was like three days before Christmas. Well, the one I had was Retta, and I'm on trizepatide. The dosage is different. We know that now. So there might have been, as we refer to nicely in my in my house as the peptide poisoning.

SPEAKER_03

At the time of year, chicken horse.

SPEAKER_02

It was probably his most miserable holiday he's ever had because it was like three times the amount that he was supposed to take that I dosed him with, and he was like very pale, cutting like one tiny piece of steak and one tiny piece of potato. And I'm like, 35 hard was not supposed to be this hard. Exactly. He's like, I'm so ill, I'm just napping. I mean, when then we went like, I think it was like three days after I went straight to Cabo, and he was still, he's like, I don't even want to drink, I don't want to have a talk. Like, he had just no appetite and no passion for life. And I was like, okay, but I'm giving you the gift of abs. And it's like at what cost? Yeah. I remember he was so mad at you, which I can totally get.

SPEAKER_03

I think he's never done one again.

SPEAKER_02

No, he has not. He he has not done. No, he does. I will say this. I have saved his life a couple times with the um thymocine A. Like he's a one. Yeah. We were getting, he was getting sick, and he tends to go downhill quickly, and then it ends up being like influenza, and you know, he just flies so much. But um, right before we went to New Zealand too, and we did about like two or three days of that, and I think it really took him out of it for sure. Like, if there is one thing, I say this to my my brother and my family, I'm like, if there is one peptide, he has little ones that you need on hand, I would get that thymocine.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah, thymocin alpha one. Like I tell everyone, guys, like travel with it. Yes, have it. Look, same thing, I take mine on a regular basis. Like, I take the low dose on a regular basis, I cycle off of it, but, or and when I'm feeling sick, I jack that thing up. And because you know, if you get an IV, they can put an entire bottle in your IV. Oh, you can't see I didn't even know that. Okay. Yeah, so like if you go and get an IV who and the place says peptides, ask them for a TA1, they put the whole entire bottle. So it makes you feel better. It's like you can handle a lot. And I'm not telling anybody to like do these crazy protocols, but like if you are sick, that is a peptide that like you should always have, you should travel with it. Like, I always have at least two bottles like at the house. Yeah. Because you do 10 days, you know, with one milligram.

SPEAKER_02

Like, well, it could be very antiviral. Well, and it's funny because he did do a IV and aspen, um, but I thought that only had um NAD plus in it and like you know, a couple other glutathione and um yeah, you can do TA.

SPEAKER_03

Okay, which is crazy because I was I was I was sick and I was like, they're like, Want a bottle of that? I'm like, a bottle? Okay. Wow, interesting. Yeah. Well, and I think what's you know, I'm finding too my own journey is that I'm using some peptides like I would a vitamin, in the sense of like, I'm on it for three months, I go off of it for a month, and I go back on it, and it's just part of my repertoire.

SPEAKER_02

Yes.

SPEAKER_03

It just kind of keeps me sort of in homeostasis, is what I you know. I'm not on any really exciting ones, but like when I am on on those, like especially in the summer and traveling, it's like the best.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah. Well, I think anytime you feel like you're going down for it and you can use it as an antiviral and get yourself better within two or three days, it's you're like, okay.

SPEAKER_03

Well, and you know, I had like obvious once, I had the weirdest thing. Like every once in a while I get a kidney infection and it like skips everything out. So like it's not like I'm getting a UTI and I have like a symptom. I do like ghost to my kidney and it's low grade. So like I don't know I have it, but I'm like, I'm tired, and then I travel, so I'm like, I'm tired, and I'm thinking, and then I I'm like I get my blood worker, I do something, and like something's off, and then I'm like, oh my gosh, this is what it is. So I have a peptide for that. I don't have the name on me. I don't carry it, it's like hard to find, and it really helps your kidneys. Interesting. So I'd ordered it from another company who's no longer selling peptides, but I had it on. Hand and I got into biotics and I was like, I'm about to leave your trip. I'm like, I'm gonna just take this peptide. I know it works, I know it really helps with your kidney. But it was interesting because I stood there with the vial and my needle before I injected it. And I thought, because I'm so used to injecting our peptide, right? Which I know that we third-party test them again, and then we test for five things and we we test for a lot more than normal people do. So I never think twice, and I stood there and I was like, now I know how people feel, right? You know, because when you're not in control, it goes into trust. And I was like, I mean, I ended up taking it, and I mean, I'm still sitting here and I'm fine. But it reminded me of just like how important it is to like know where you're getting your stuff from. Right. And that's why I think like we talk about it a lot and like we don't gatekeep anything, and so you're just kind of like, well, this is where I get it from, and it works for me. And I'm not shy or embarrassed or pretend that like I always feel good or look good by doing nothing. Yeah. So what else do you do? Because I know you don't gatekeep stuff. We have the same lymphatic massage girl. Thanks to you.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, yeah, she's great. Taryn's great. Um love Taryn. Love to have her. Yeah, I love and I love doing the the the abs too when I'm there too.

SPEAKER_03

Oh, yeah, she has the what is it called?

SPEAKER_02

The um Oh god, it's the one that wraps on and it's EM, it's EMS. Yes, okay. So um, I forgot what it's called though. Um, it's not AcuVate, it's the other one. Okay. Um, and then um yeah, I love the lymphatic drainage. I think that also helps with like not getting sick and keeping everything sweating. After my trip and she got sick, and I was so on Bloom Friday, but okay. Yeah, okay. Um, and she's great. I mean, it's like a one-stop shop right now. Oh, then I'm like curl my hair. Yeah, just do the whole thing. Just do that. Yeah, and tan me. Yeah I'm good. Yeah, okay. Um, I do all that. And then I mean, I and then, you know, of course, working out and um and do weight training, strength training. I mean, I do that at least like three to four times a week.

SPEAKER_03

You're super consistent with everything.

SPEAKER_02

Yes, I am consistent. I mean, like, I guess everyone's like, well, what do you like, you know, everyone wants to ask you, like, what classes are you going to? Where are you working out? Or I'm like, I I don't really do group fitness. Thank God. I'm all the way in Laguna. Group fitness is like unheard of. Everyone is working out out of their out of their garage. Yeah. It's just like you open, no one parks in their garage. Um, but I um and like I don't really do cart, like I have a treadmill. I did it like once this month because my cardio is either going to play volleyball or is you know, walking with a friend. Like that's it. I'm not really getting on that treadmill to just pound out 30 minutes.

SPEAKER_03

Like I've had RH2 or like been there, done that.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah. And yeah, and it's like boring. And it's boring. I need to be yeah, entertained.

SPEAKER_03

And it doesn't do anything either. Right.

SPEAKER_02

So yeah. I like do um a sauna like three times a week. I have an infrared sauna.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah.

SPEAKER_02

I know there's that's some controversy around that, but right.

SPEAKER_03

Oh, I love mine. I just mine this one.

SPEAKER_02

I love mine too. I don't know what it's doing, melting our implants or something like that, but we'll see, we'll find out later.

SPEAKER_03

We'll find out. Oh my god, I love you. You're so great. Well, I think Jim's like, have you seen Renetta? She looks so good. I'm like, I don't know what she looked like before, but I get it all the time. I'm like, so she looks amazing. I hear that a lot. Like, it's really cute. Yeah, like she looks so good. I'm like, I know. She's kind of like on the on the peptide train with me. Okay, so I want to play a fun game. I was like thinking, I'm like, okay, what are we gonna do? And I was like, I wanna educate with some fun. So you get for it?

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, let's do it.

SPEAKER_03

All right, let's see. And if you don't know the answer or anything, you can just like kind of throw it back a friend. Girlfriend, um, and I can do it too. Okay. All right, podcast listeners, we are gonna talk about supplements. All right, so I rag a lot and I talk about the loop waste supplements that I formulated. And I really had the idea because I'm talking all the time on how the pillars of health are so important while you're on peptides. Getting enough protein, having creatine and amino acids to increase your protein levels and protect your muscles, put some water back into your muscles and protect your brain. These are things I use every single day. So I thought if I'm telling my clients and community to go out and purchase creatine, amino acids, and a high-quality protein, why wouldn't I just create one for myself? And by the way, I nailed it. I'm really, really proud, especially of my vanilla whey isolate. It was made really so it can be, it's thin, you can drink it in water. You don't even need to add anything else to it. Only 90 calories, 20 grams of protein. I also love to put it in my afternoon coffee or matcha. It mixes really well together. So there's no excuse. When I'm telling you to eat your whey in protein, it is so easy to have two of these a day. It doesn't hurt your stomach. This is coming from a girly who has some stomach issues. The whey isolate is natural. It is a cinnamon taste, it's almost like a little macchiato in the afternoon. And I always say my creatine every single morning. It's a non-negotiable. I have my parents on it for their brain, and any age creatine can be great for your brain and your body. And then we all need the extra help. Amino acids, the building box of blocks of protein. So I put it in my water bottle every morning before I go to the gym. These are my non-negotiables. Check it out. We got 10% off for all the loop way listeners. Now back to the show. What's one wellness trend that's lived up to its hype?

SPEAKER_02

That's lived up to its hype. Wow. Um turned, I think ones that are like coming to my mind are ones that have not lived up to it. And like things like like the butt, like the muscle weight, that like things like that. Um that that's that's what like I feel, you know what another one is that I do really love is the like a red light bed. I love my red light bed. Like I love, I have a just a mat, I guess, but it's the I think mine's Magellan. Um, and I do love that. I find that really relaxes my system before going to sleep.

SPEAKER_01

That sucks.

SPEAKER_02

Oh, another wellness one that well, I guess these are all kind of in the wearables program. The eight sleep. I heard that. Eight sleep is a game changer.

SPEAKER_03

Game changer. Remind me when we get into my app because I want to tell you because the wearables are a part of it. Okay. Which is actually kind of fun.

SPEAKER_02

Great. Because everybody says this is. We choose all the wearables that don't speak to one another. So I have Aura, he has Whoop. We have Eight, and we have Redfoe. None of them talk to one another.

unknown

Oh my god.

SPEAKER_02

So we would like something that connects.

SPEAKER_03

I think you can probably connect all of them. Then we'd love to see what it looks like. Probably. Oh no, I need to get that eight, I need to get that eight slate. Um, okay, um, what's something you've completely changed your mind about? Like looking back, where you're like, at one point you're like, this is it, and now you're like, what?

SPEAKER_02

Um what have I changed my mind about? Cardio, maybe. Oh, what? Cardio, maybe. Cardio, yeah, that would be it. Like, I don't need to be doing tire. You know, I don't, I I probably should change my mind back. I used to do more yoga or a Pilates class, and I really need to incorporate that back in like once a week. Not to build muscle, like just for flexibility, mobility. And I find that really hard to get in. I don't know why that is.

SPEAKER_03

I'm the same way. I keep telling myself, like, I'm gonna go once a week to Radiant Hot Yoga and actually like stretch it out.

SPEAKER_02

And I would love to do that, and I just it just doesn't come to me. And and I should do it, but I just don't. I'd rather like go for a walk with a friend or play tennis or play volleyball.

SPEAKER_03

I do think I wanna say at our age, and you're younger than me, but I would say is that the shoulds are the ones that I just like throw away. I know, right?

unknown

Right.

SPEAKER_03

Like I'm kind of just like, if I don't want to do it, then I'm just not gonna do it. Now, lifting to me is like, I love it. So it's like that's not a should. So I'm telling you girls, like if it's headlifting, you gotta do that. Yeah. But like for the most part, if it's a should, I'm just kind of like, no, you know, unless it's something you have to really do.

SPEAKER_02

I think another one is that everyone uh the myth of um peptides or GLP specifically ruining bone density. Yeah. I think that is a total myth. Um, or or just destroying your muscle because I have very high muscle compared to like my fat mass and all that, and I've done the DEXA scan, I've done it all. Um, and so I I I think that's a big wellness myth that you could have thrown out.

SPEAKER_03

You know, I also think, and I talk about this, is like it's not the GLP guys, it's your lifestyle. So, yes, if you're not eating, your hair is gonna fall out. Like, I don't care if you're on a GLP or not. Like, if you're not eating, your bone density is gonna go down. If you're not lifting weights, your bone density is gonna chances are get brittle and go down. If you're not eating correctly, I mean all the things, like it's so easy, it's everyone's to blame the damn GLP. I'm like, actually, it's you choosing to not have a lifestyle where you're on the GLP. Like, same thing, I just put on a pound of muscle that like I was so proud of. And like that, you do that because you eat. Yes. Like, it's not because the GLP, it's like you eat, you lift weights, and so yeah, I think that is a big myth. And I do think it needs to be debunked because that was before there was a microdose of GLP. Right. And that's some people were starving themselves, and like they look like half of Hollywood, who's like, you're like, what is half skin is just hanging off of it, and it's like, I don't know, what is heroin chic back then?

SPEAKER_02

Right. Like, what is that? Right, yes, the heroin chic model. What are your thoughts on a cold plunge? Okay, so I don't do that, and I don't believe in it for me, and I don't believe in it for a lot of women. I think my boyfriend does that, he loves it, but I think his cold plunge is also the ocean. Yeah, so that's a different grounding experience, too, I think, than just going in like a cold bucket.

SPEAKER_03

Well, it's funny, I bought the plunge as a divorce gift to myself. Okay, um, five years ago. It's empty upstairs, sitting next to my sauna, which now I go in on a regular basis that I got for my 50th birthday. And I'm I need to sell it. Like, I'm like, anyone want a cold plunge? I mean, it's it's the plunge, it's the extra large one.

SPEAKER_02

Oh I see, I did like the Amazon version before I fully dipped into the cold plunge because I was like, let's see who's using it in the house.

SPEAKER_03

I was into it. Yes. Oh, I did it like, but now like I just came back on a from a family trip, and our place has like uh this cold plunge by the ocean with a with a hot tub, and it's actually really fun to go back and forth. Contrast too. I can do like contrast therapy in a video of surrounding, maybe like skiing, maybe I could do contrast therapy or like, but every day upstairs on my balcony, it is literally empty. So I'm with you. I'm just like, I'm not super into it. Like I do like it for inflammation every now and then, but like I don't think for my cortisol, and like the more we've read about it, like, and my personality was like more is better. So I'm like, oh, I have four minutes, and I'm gonna be able to do it.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, yeah, yeah. You're like, no. I already have like renowns where it's like my I have bad circulation, my fingers, my toes. And so that to me is like would be is just the worst experience. Like I'm 30 seconds and screaming and jumping out. But I think the sauna from from the information that I've read, right, it it's it's all setting off stressors in your body that is that is making your cell autophagy, like turn over. Yeah. So whether you're doing it cold or hot, you're kind of producing a similar result in your body, and that's that's the good thing. Absolutely. So I think if you pick one of those, you're you're kind of hit hitting the goals.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah, and kind of the same thing, like if you hate it, don't do it.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah. That's how I feel like I'm not I'm not on Winhoff's training and trying to get four minutes.

SPEAKER_03

Oh my god, you're so cute. Okay, like what else I'm gonna ask you. Um what's the coolest thing health-wise you've experienced lately?

SPEAKER_02

The coolest thing health-wise I've experienced.

SPEAKER_03

Or like the one one something that you'd be like, wow, that was like like for me, like I've been microneedling the GHKCU, and I'm like obsessed with that. Like it was like, wow, this is actually cool. This is something that like I will do on a regular basis. I didn't know if it's gonna work, but I liked it for me.

SPEAKER_02

Like, yeah, yeah. I know, and I have liked microneedling that. I did that too. Yeah, I I I only did a little bit under my eyes, so I like I like that. Um, that's definitely been something that I I just recently used, and I and I've used a little bit more. I tried it on my chest more. Yeah, that's where because I was getting a little sensitive to it, so I was like just using it on my chest.

SPEAKER_03

And it is like you can get sensitive. Yeah, like I got sensitive around my nose, and then I took it down to one day a week of in terms of topical, and then it went away, and now I'm fine. It's almost like I get used to it, yeah. But I give I have I have sensitive skin and risation and stuff like that. So someone I was actually talking with a plastic surgeon on vacation, like in the hot tub, and they were telling me, I forget the name, you but we probably know it's a new laser that there's like zero downtime. Yeah.

SPEAKER_02

X-E-R-S-T that one.

SPEAKER_03

Yes, and he said it's amazing. Dr. Laura's got it, yeah. He said it's amazing.

SPEAKER_02

Yes, I've seen, I've seen it's for more like skin tightening and yes, and yes, all of that.

SPEAKER_03

He said, like for the lower face, and he I think he did it on his stomach too, and he said it's great. He's like, he's like the known downtime is like a real thing, and it it does really work, which I think is cool.

SPEAKER_02

I haven't tried it yet, but I I've seen people who did it, but they did it in combination with like, you know, another BBL light, and then they ended up still a mess. You know what I mean? As far as walking, I'm like, so what I saw was not a result of just the zerf. It was more but I like when you can go and do a pla you find a place that you can do a combination of lasers because I think your skin is different around your eyes than your face and your chest, and that's what I like. Like I did erbium. Umbium is like comparable to C to CO2 laser. Okay. But the downtime is a little bit less. And you I have melasma, so if I do CO2, I am really heavy with melasma. And so I did erbium and then coag around the eyes, and that was great. I was and I used the Laura BPC, I used BPC morning and night, like 10 units during that time because it was, you know, I was all red and fiery and all that good stuff. Um, but I really liked Erbium. And do you do Dr.

SPEAKER_03

Laura design? I do the I like I like the idea. I haven't done it where it's like a different, um, it's not like the same thing for your whole face. I've gotten kind of, I mean, I did a CO2 laser in November. Um, and I only really did it because I had to, I got my breasts done anyway. So it's kind of like in combination. And so I'm like, I want to do something in the fall. I think twice two twice a year for me is probably good. Yes.

SPEAKER_02

Twice a year. And I because it's like you're not making any progress during the summer here in Southern or in Hawaii. So the lightning is not happening. You have to save that for the fall.

SPEAKER_03

Well, and also for here, it's like I feel like it's summer until like November.

SPEAKER_02

Yes.

SPEAKER_03

So by the way, come to Newport Beach, it's summer until November. I'm gonna have my IRL come to my IRL. Okay, let's let's see. I'm gonna now gonna okay. Let's do keep it, ditch it, or it depends. We already did this with the full lunge. Um creatine.

SPEAKER_02

So I I think we should keep creatine. I think you need to make sure it's the correct creatine and it's creature and it it and you are digesting it correctly. I know a lot of women ditching it because they got really puffy.

SPEAKER_03

They say they get bloated.

SPEAKER_02

Yes, yeah. Bloated and puffy. Um I I don't right now I don't see like when you get up to like 15 and 20 grams, that is when you really I only do five. Right. And so I just throw it. I mean, my go-to every morning is is a cup of coffee. I have kneaded protein, which I I like because I can't um digest the whey. Yeah, and then I put a little scoop of the creatine in. Yeah, I think I'm using Mementous right now.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah, that's actually a great one. We actually made our creatine off of momentus.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, very similar.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah, that one's good. Similar ingredients. Okay, um, GLPs. I think you know this.

SPEAKER_02

Oh, keep for sure. NAD. NAD plus I love. Um, I feel like that gives me energy, like metabolically, cellular energy, everything.

SPEAKER_03

Intermittent fasting.

SPEAKER_02

I'm not a big fan of that for for women. I don't think it's necessary. But um, so I typically eat uh protein before I work out.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah, and it helps. Yes. It also helps regulate your blood sugar. Yes. I think that's the one thing too. And I also feel like it's like I go back to when I coach it's like it's not a one-size-fits-all. Like do it works for you, but like the women who are telling me that they start eating at two, I'm like, okay, tell me how you're gonna get enough calories in between two and seven p.m. Like you're not. Really? And so I feel like that's a big piece that I think everyone here, especially if you're on a GLP, like you can't have two meals a day. Like you need to be eating. And so if you're skipping a meal, like how are you getting enough protein in unless you're eating nonstop from like two to I don't know what sounds like two?

SPEAKER_02

And that's too, it's just like it's too much pressure to eat that much in that small of a window of time.

SPEAKER_03

Yes. Okay, electrolytes.

SPEAKER_02

Oh, elect every day, a hundred percent. Mouth taping. Daytime or nighttime? Hold on, let me ask my boyfriend. Yeah. Um I don't, I have it, and I don't, but I don't snore according to my eat sleep. So I'm like a one percenter. Um I think there are some people that could probably really use that, not to name names.

SPEAKER_03

I actually, I actually I mouth tape every now and then. Like, I think it depends. Like, I mouthtape a ton when my boyfriend's not with me. Okay. Um, and I do think I do sleep better, but then I notice when I'm mouth taping on a regular basis, when I don't, I've trained myself almost to like just breathe through breathe through my nose. I think it's kind of like, I think it's more funny. I'm like, oh my god, like it's like the red light mask and the mouth tape and the eye masks and the sound machine. I mean, you come into my room and you're like, is this a geriatric? It's not sexy. Um, okay, well, we talked about this, but fasted cardio.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, I don't, I don't do it. I did it, I don't anymore. So I eat my protein before the low carb diet. No, I mean, do I focus on eating protein at every meal? Yes. But do I describe it as low carb? No. And am I am I like, like I said, I I do a lot of um meal prep with Stafford Prime. So, for example, you know, I order from him every week. So next week, I already know I'm gonna be eating um hibachi salmon and steak one night. And um, we might have a pasta one night, but we'll probably eat it like for lunch or something like that.

SPEAKER_03

And um tag him as meals on yeah.

SPEAKER_02

Oh yeah, because today you gotta order. It's Wednesday, you order them by Friday, they're delivered by Monday.

SPEAKER_03

Okay, so tell me more about them so you can give him a pleasure.

SPEAKER_02

Okay, so he does um you do he has everything from meal prep so you can pick how many servings you want. Okay. So I know next week it's you know, just Joel and I, so I'll just say two servings, let's say. And then you he can also you just tag what you you would like. There's mixed fruit box, there's uh smoothie starters, so that is really great. There's like a green detox one next week. Um, and then you can always add more protein. He puts a little bit of protein in there, I know. Um, he also has breakfast sandwiches, my boys love those, and pancakes sometimes. So it's all ready to go. It's great. And everything is like prepped, grilled, and then you're warming things up. So easy. It's so easy.

SPEAKER_03

It's I find too like it's expensive to shop and then it rots. And yes. Like I like have all this stuff, and it's like, you know what last night I was coming back from my family vacation, and I'm like, this is pretty awesome. Like, I'm on the plane over the Pacific Ocean, like in the middle of the ocean. I'm on Instacart ordering sprouts, food, to the house for my my daughter who was so I'm like, it's coming to the door, and I'm like, that's pretty rad. Like I'm how easy it can be. Because I wanted to kind of meal prep a little bit, like I made a chicken last night, but like I would have never been able to do it. And I was like, that's pretty cool that I'm in the middle of the ocean, but one step further, I just have pre-made meals like sent to my house. Oh, yeah.

SPEAKER_02

I don't really cook at all.

SPEAKER_03

Well, also that there's like no excuse, and I talked to my clients about it too. I'm like, I know for me personally, like I'm not a huge meal prepper, but I do know the five sources of protein that I can get like this in my refrigerator or in like a bar in my pantry is like a bad example, but like I don't need to go, like, where am I getting my protein? So, like, yeah, like just knowing like where and like I know my meals I'm gonna have for food. It's just like like planning ahead, so you're not standing staring at something being like, should I have no protein?

SPEAKER_02

And then grabbing pretzels or some crap. Where I'm yeah, I'm very lucky in that sense. And and especially like when my boyfriend is there, he is at the house working. So I am not cooking three meals a day at all, but I know like he's very good about like we'll eat leftovers or whatnot. But if it's there and it's like whether it's the salmon or the tuna or chicken left over, like we're chopping it up, and I can make it with you know, even stuff from Laguna Mercado.

SPEAKER_03

I a salad, like anything that you want. Well, it seems like to like your boyfriend and I seem very similar to JP and I, like you have very similar lifestyles. Like, I think that's super important, is that like to be with somebody who's not exactly like you, but like you like to travel the same way, you like to kind of eat the same way, you're both active, like that kind of that piece is so important.

SPEAKER_02

And I think the thing is like he made a really good point the other day. He was like, he was like, we have so much stuff in the house, like protein powders and this and that. And I'm like trying to grab stuff to bring it to to Aspen, and and I'm like, do we even like this coffee mix? He's like, no, and I'm like, we're throwing it out. He's like, we need stuff we enjoy. If we don't enjoy it, it's out. Yeah. And I'm like, okay, and I I know I got like a bunch of packets for the boy, my boys to like frog fuel, and it's like, ew, I don't even want it. Yeah, they don't want it. It's out. We gotta get rid of it.

SPEAKER_03

Like, lessons more. I think that's true. It's like I get mad and it's very confusing. Like, even me, I guess I'm not on Instagram, like on TikTok, and I'm like on TikTok shop, and like you get so so quickly on something. I'm like, well, maybe that mask from Korea does really work because she looks like she is last kin. So I think it's important to like not to like be such a consumer. It's like what works for us, like don't look at the next trend, especially also the peptides. Like, it's kind of like make sure you know what you're taking, and like don't listen to Joe Schmo on the internet telling you how to take MOTC. Yeah. Telling you right now, like it could be a disaster. But like it is really funny to watch how the peptide world has evolved online from where it started. And I'm just like, oh my gosh. I mean, I have this guy come on and he's like, I wouldn't advise this, but I'm on 19 peptides. Do you know what the ones they are? And I'm like, phew! What they're doing and like when you have 19 going on. By the way, that asshole should be kicked off Instagram, not me. Like you're talking about 19 peptides, like you know, like oh my god, are you kidding me? But anyway, so okay, let me give you extra list of like things that I want to see if anything pops up in my mind. Okay, it's just a myth, fact, or it depends. GOPs destroy destroy muscle.

SPEAKER_02

I think that's a myth, but I also think my muscle from the weight I was went down a little bit proportionally to my weight. Which is natural. Right, which is a natural, so it's not destroying it, but there was a decrease in muscle because there is no way I could have 120 pounds of muscle and weigh 127 pounds. Like if that calculation doesn't work out. So I think people need to have an educational warning about that and also be doing all the things.

SPEAKER_03

And that's where the DEXA scan helps. It just kind of like keeps you in check of like understanding it. I've also like talked to clients recently and they're like, just ditch the scale for a couple months.

SPEAKER_02

Like I will say I did do the DEXA scan and my Renfo scale, which is like I think must be six or seven years old. Because I know they've gone up in price. It was really damn close.

SPEAKER_03

Isn't that crazy?

SPEAKER_02

Yeah. So I know people who they are not close, they're off by like eight to ten percent. I don't know why mine is, but it was it was very accurate to the DEXA scan.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah, I mean, I think I love the DEXA scan, I think they're so good. Okay, everyone over 40 should be taking peptides. Is this gonna be a myth, fact, or it depends?

SPEAKER_02

I hope this is going to be a fact, and it does depend, of course, on anyone who's got a lot of people are worried if they have, you know, a cancer tumor or something like that. And is it a cause? Like, and I think it's important to be educated, like it's it's not going to cause you cancer. Now, is there an acceleration depending on a peptide? There could be.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah.

SPEAKER_02

So you have to, there's a difference between causation and correlation. So you have to also look at that.

SPEAKER_03

I also tell people, like, you can get a prenoble scan, you can get a cancer screening, yeah, you can get your blood.

SPEAKER_02

I love that. That is not a wellness trend. Hopefully that's here to say. I think anyone who has cancer in their family, the gallery one is um, I I'm gonna do that every other year.

SPEAKER_03

Yes. I also think just like they're I don't want to know. I'm like, it's like putting your head in the sand.

SPEAKER_02

Oh, yeah, I don't like it.

SPEAKER_03

Like I got my colonoscopy, and I had some people who are like, oh, I don't really need one. I'm like, and they're telling me all the reasons not to online. And I was like, like, they found polyps when I went my colon. Sorry if it's TMI, but they found polyps when I get my colonoscopy. Like, and one was a decent size one. If I hadn't taken care of that, like what right? Like, how do you know? You're not looking up your colon. No, like, oh, I just have like normal movement, so I don't need a colonoscopy. Like, right, no. Sometimes I don't heal.

SPEAKER_02

You don't wait for that.

SPEAKER_03

I like some of the stuff I'm just like I get for being like cautious and stuff. Like, I don't know. That one is like, don't mess around with it.

SPEAKER_02

No, like at all. You need to get it done. I think it's like after 40, right? One yeah.

SPEAKER_03

Okay, BBC heals almost every injury. Myth, factor, it depends.

SPEAKER_02

Not every injury, but I I've had a pretty good success rate with BPC. We I uh both um Joel and I take it, um, especially playing volleyball. Like my lower back is just, you know, but I think it's I think I've heard a lot of surgeons encouraging it before surgery and then after surgery. So I think it's great with healing, healing the gut, but healing is anything that's like a ligament, a tendon, not a bone problem. Yeah, it's been very, very successful.

SPEAKER_03

Absolutely. I was um I'm my physical therapist asked me to run once a week now, so I could do a 30-minute run, which is like hilarious. And I was going up the hill the other day over here, and this cyclist, old man is on a cycle, so cute, he goes, Keep going, you're doing so good. He's like cycling next to me, and he's like, I've got two torn meniscus, and it took everything in me not to stop. Hey, do you want to get on BBC? And my little voice was like, Don't do it, don't do it, don't do it. Because I feel like I've constantly anytime someone has an ailment, I'm like, Oh, well, I can help you. Right. Here, let me come over. I'm like, oh my god. It's actually really funny. Okay, oral peptides work just as well as injections.

SPEAKER_02

Um, I don't know if just as well. I I do use some oral ones, especially when traveling. Yeah. So um I use BPC. I don't think the BPC oral is going to help wound healing. I think it definitely helps your stomach digestive, rebuild the gut. Um, so some of them, right?

SPEAKER_03

I think that's a good answer. Like, I think the ones that we carry do only because I'm like, I don't like to carry really anything that's kind of BS. I think a good thing is like if something sounds too good to be true, it is right. Even the nasal sprays, like I get asked a lot about them, and I was like, yeah, if you take you know, CMAX in a nasal spray, it could work, or it does work in an acid, but how much runs out of your nose? Like when you do a nose spray, I don't care who you are, you're kind of like this, and then like all of a sudden you're like half of it's here. So it's like a little bit, I'm like, just ask yourself like, am I really getting something? Or like, is is an NAD patch, you know, really gonna work versus like an injection or an IV? And just like oftentimes it's too good to be true, right? Yes, it's kind of with it. But I do think some of your orals can work really well. Um, can you take peptides without changing your lifestyle?

SPEAKER_02

No, I don't think you should. I mean, like I think we've discussed this to death, but making sure and checking your hormones first. Like your peptides are gonna do zilch if your hormones aren't in balance. Yeah. And that was a definitely a first step that I did five years ago and got that all. And and it's funny because I uh to connect that with the nasal spray, I do have I used to have get very, very bad um sinus infections, probably five, six times a year, and having to go on um on a steroid and and it would be just like painful in my brain sinus infection. And ever since I went and did um testosterone pellets, what it does is if you are estrogen dominant, your mucus membranes are very, very heavy. And hence I what I think it that was leading to my sinus infections. So the testosterone has helped balance that out, and I have had a I haven't had a sinus infection for a long time. It's crazy. And I did use a little bit of BPC spray if I feel like it's getting like tense, and that just helps that inflammation go down.

SPEAKER_03

Yes, interesting, you're on a pellet too. I I'm on a pellet and I love my palette. Yes. I get like a lot, not a lot of pushback, but like, you know, it's not for everybody, like a sensitive person. And I had my first, and obviously, like I'm 51, like my hormones are changing. I've been on a pellet probably for four years, and it was the this is the first year that I've gotten a little sensitive to it. Like Oh, really? Well, like I like when I first when I first get it, like and it's high, you know, versus it gets taper off. Um, I definitely sometimes I'm like, okay, here we go.

SPEAKER_02

Like, I did you fire someone that day or have some road rage?

SPEAKER_03

The weird thing is I don't have much testosterone change, except she lowered my testosterone last time, and I message her back. I'm like, oh, you're not lowing it again.

SPEAKER_02

Oh, right. No, they tried that once on me. I was like, no, no.

SPEAKER_03

I'm like, no, this girl likes her testosterone way too much. Like, I don't have a beard.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah.

SPEAKER_03

Like my hair's not falling out. No, everyone can say I'm not a rager on anybody. But yeah, the hormone stuff is like really important, I think. And oh, I know. And I tell anyone who thinks they're like like skating by, I'm like, oh, just do we just like early.

SPEAKER_02

On peptides, and he was totally doing the all-natural. I'm gonna go, I'm gonna lift, I'm gonna build my own testosterone. And he's early 50s, and he, you know, he looks decent, but he wanted to really and he kept gaining weight and he's not increasing, and then he got injured, and then he's like, Finally, his wife talked to him. He's like, You gotta go get your testosterone. You gotta so he comes and he's like, Okay, I got it checked. I I'm going on the the shot, and I just don't want to be on it for the rest of my life. I'm like, Well, do you do you wanna live like your late, like, you know, he's sluggish and he's not putting on the lean muscle mass. And I'm like, You're you're you can be in the gym for the rest of your life, but you're not going to. And so he's like, Well, I'm on a really low disease. Well, sure enough, so he's all the way up to like 800 now, and he's feeling much better. And you can tell, like, he's got a little bit more. Oh, by the way, you can totally tell. His wife is happier not, but like you can tell right now. She's like, We're getting there. But um, and yeah, and then he's like, Okay, now I'm ready for the GLP, and I'm like, okay, as long as you've got your testosterone like up there. And he's like, he he he said, he's like, Yeah, so now he's lost like eight pounds, and he's very happy with it. Like he he now has come around, but he was very resistant to trying to having to be on something for the rest of his life, which I understand, but like you feel better. Yeah. How do you want to live the rest of your life?

SPEAKER_03

When I also have something back, it's like people get on on statins like that. That's the rest of your life. A lot of certain thyroid medicine, that's like there's so many things when they they ask the question, and I kind of put it back on them, and I'm just like, but if something is gonna help you feel so much better, I think the opposite question was like, Can I be on this the rest of my life? Like, that's what I asked. Like, do I ever have to go off of this?

SPEAKER_01

Yes.

SPEAKER_03

So I don't know. I think it's also not understanding, like it becomes a lifestyle, it becomes an ease. Like it, like if you're used to getting up and working out every day, like do you get to do that the rest of your life, or do you have to do that the rest of your life? I think it's a good question to ask yourself.

SPEAKER_02

Right, it is, it is like it and and it's also that's a mental state. Yes. Like it it what and also I tell people, like, if someone's put on blood pressure medication and then uh you know it's controlling their blood pressure in a well-maintained, and they don't just go off of it because they want to and think that it's going to stay in that arena. It's like glasses, you know, it's the same thing. Like, we're using these tools to maintain ourselves.

SPEAKER_03

I'm like, I have to wear these reading glasses the rest of my life, probably. And it's like, well, here's the thing. No, they're coming out with those eye drops.

SPEAKER_02

Did you hear about that?

SPEAKER_03

Lord help me. Like, I I want the surgery, and then I'm told that it's not gonna help. I don't know, here and there. I'm like, well, I guess it does say my age.

SPEAKER_02

As I put them back, as I put them up. I'm on it too.

SPEAKER_03

1.5. God, seriously. Hey podcast listeners. Okay, I know I've been teasing this a lot, but Loop Beauty is about to hit. Now, we don't have the exact name yet, so I'm calling it Loop Beauty until we all figure it out. Maybe you guys have some ideas. But for our beta group, you are gonna get our DHKCU 2% serum. And I'm telling you, I've been working on this for months and months and months with our chemists back and forth, combining my favorite ingredients, talk about hydration, the glow. DHKCU is really known for its properties of increasing collagen, helping with acne scars. I'm actually noticing on my skin not only that fine lines and wrinkles are getting becoming less, but also my sunspots are going away, which I actually have a lot of trouble with being part Hawaiian. Then we have our moisturizer. Now let's talk about dewy thick. It's great for the evening. It really locks everything in. And then I tell everybody, in between the two, use a red light mask. It's fantastic. If you haven't signed up yet, we still have some spots left, so we'll have the link here. We're only letting the first 120 people in, so if you want to purchase it, don't sleep on it. And then in the fall, we should have our whole line coming out. We've got sunscreen, eye masks, and a whole other things that are in the work. So hang in there, check it out. Okay, we're gonna build the perfect peptide stack. So we're gonna kind of and I can have you and I can go back and forth with this. So let's do the first one for you, and I'll take the second one. Fat loss.

SPEAKER_02

GLP. Easily.

SPEAKER_03

Love. What would I add if I was saying fat loss with that?

SPEAKER_02

The AT.

SPEAKER_03

I think ATX I would definitely add with that. I like that it's oral. Um, I like you can play with the dosage. So like you can take double kind of even what I haven't done it yet. I kind of want to do a trial, I want to be part of it. Yeah. I kind of want to take like 10 people and just like let's play with it and kind of see because it's a newer one for us. It has some like I've read some really cool things about it. Okay. Um, and then also like I feel like if you get on a secretagog and you're lifting, like I do feel like that's really good for fat loss. But it's not a direct fat loss, but I think with the lifestyle, it's great.

SPEAKER_01

Okay.

SPEAKER_03

Okay, let's do longevity.

SPEAKER_02

Well, probably the epithalin. Yeah. Yeah. I mean, that would be for yeah. I I I think it's like what you said too before, because I have a lot of like people in my neighborhood and they're always asking me, they're like, okay, I want all the longevity stuff. And I go, I know you want that, and you say you want that, but it's something that you gotta like invest in, and you're not going to see results tomorrow.

SPEAKER_03

Well, epithalin's a hard one because it's like one of the most steady peptides. But you feel nothing. You feel yeah, you feel nothing. And you sleep a little bit better, I think. That's the one thing, but like that's a hard one. Like, I never started anyone on that because you're like, uh, they work.

SPEAKER_02

Right. I know.

SPEAKER_03

And I think you can like, I think any of the um obviously NAD and then anything that's that you're you know you're dealing with your mitochondria, I'd say is like longevity. But that word is like such a buzzword, like biohacking, longevity. What do you mean by that?

SPEAKER_02

Who's checking your telomeres? Like, tell me who is if you know tomorrow your telomere is gonna be like longer, great, it's working for you. But like I don't have that science.

SPEAKER_03

Have you checked your telomeres lately? I know then you're like, am I just like feeding into bullshit? Um, okay, recovery.

SPEAKER_02

What would you say the ideal side? I mean, recovery for us is the BPC. I would and sometimes I've dabbled dabbled with and the ipamoralin for sleep. Yeah. And I do like that because I'm not on progesterone yet. Um so, but I I heard like people like progesterone for their sleep, and then sometimes, but that's you can only take progesterone certain days in the month. And I'm like, I'm not sleeping the other days, so or I'm the three o'clock wake up, which I hate. I have that lesson. So that was four.

SPEAKER_03

I'm like, wait, it's like 3:30. I'm like, it's like one in Hawaii. Why am I awake? But I was like, and then of course my boyfriend's like snoring next to me.

SPEAKER_02

I'm like, yeah, it's been malt tape that.

SPEAKER_03

It's really malt tape that shit.

SPEAKER_02

That wellness friend is back in this house.

SPEAKER_03

Oh my recovery. I also like I like TB500, and then I also your G H K C I think is still like, but I mean you're at BB, BBC all day long, arthritis, recovery. Like, especially when like I think people really don't realize like when you start doing a different workout, like we forget that like it's really not fun when you can't stand up and you can't sit on the toilet and you're like, you know, or you're going skiing and you haven't skied and it ruins your trip. So I'm like, it's also when I tell people, like, if you're gonna go do like go water skiing, other things you don't normally do, or hiking, take it before and stuff, because it just helps you, especially at our age, to recover.

SPEAKER_02

We do that now. We uh we do the BPC before we go down and play volleyball and stuff for sure.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah, I think we like kind of forget that. Um, okay.

SPEAKER_02

Um when you get out of bed and it just hurts. Yes, I mean that, right?

SPEAKER_03

I mean, that's like sorry for like when I'm not on it. I'm off of it right now and it's like the hardest BPC is the hardest one for you to be off of.

SPEAKER_02

Because that one is like immediate result.

SPEAKER_03

Oh, and I also feel the inflammation. Like I feel the inflammation when I'm not on it. Okay, um, one more brain health.

SPEAKER_02

Oh, for brain health. Um for me and my experience, my brother's experience, it's the NAD plus. I feel like that gets rid of the brain fog. Yeah. And we are like checked in. He's losing weight off of it, he claims. So I don't know. And I don't know how much that I think did we talk about this has to do with the um the methylation gene. Like, I think that and it helps your mitochondria.

SPEAKER_03

I mean, if your mitochondria is working better, your metabolism, everything is, so it's not necessarily I I tried the SS31 and remember, I was like, I think this is too much for me.

SPEAKER_02

I was getting like a lull, and it that might be just personally because of the autoimmune markers that I'm having. So I didn't do that full set of SS31 either.

SPEAKER_03

You know what we can do also with you is like you can do it, you're just not gonna do as much every day. And that that's the I think that's the hard part is not even hard part, but like some of these that are bit like they're super intense, like you a lot of people can't handle it. It's like have you like go in and say, Okay, I want to do this, right? But you might cut your dose in half and do it for double as long. Yeah, you know, whatever works for you, you know, or some of them are just like a skip.

SPEAKER_02

My yeah, my friend loved SS31. It's interesting to see who loves the SS31 versus the Mod C too. That's the difference.

SPEAKER_03

When oftentimes, like you can't take Mod C if you're really compromised and the SS31 helps, or some people can't do the S. It's that's what's like it's not this one size fits all, so like get some freaking guidance. Like get in there. That's what I'll I'll talk about. This ad before seizure kicks me off this our podcast. But it's that that's kind of like part of it. Okay, we're gonna do rapid fire, then we're gonna tell you all about loop health, which I can't wait. Okay, favorite peptide.

SPEAKER_02

My my GLP, my trizeptide. Love most underrated, most underrated. Um AOD, you said. Oh, well, that I would just not rate well. AOD. I didn't find that one helpful. Yeah.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah.

SPEAKER_02

I just didn't think it did the fat loss. I don't think it's what it's all about.

SPEAKER_03

I'm gonna bang for your bucket in the same way. Um, so most un oh, so most underrated. Sorry, I asked you the wrong question. So most overrated was the was AOD. What's the most underrated?

SPEAKER_02

Um I god, I would go back to like the GLP. And NAD plus, I think, is underrated. I think it's also expensive, like you said the last time. Uh so not a lot of people enjoy that or they think that also taking it orally will do the same thing. Yeah. Because it's sold, it's sold, you know, online everywhere. Um so I I do love going back to NAD, especially after like coming back from a holiday, um, there's been drinking, like anything like that. Yeah. And your glutathione is like the secret.

SPEAKER_03

Oh, and by the way, my glutathione and my NAD come everywhere with me when I travel. I'm like, and I'm taking it tomorrow morning or tonight. Um, okay, biggest mistake people make.

SPEAKER_02

Not not weight training, strength training, and taking the JLP and just starving. I know too many girls like that. Just not doing you can look at them and see. Yeah, you can. So obvious. Yes. And they are very critical, and they take, for example, the full, they're they're buying it from wherever, they'll take the full auto inject pen. So I think with the auto inject pen, you're definitely getting a really high dose for two or three days, and then you're starving yourself and then tapering it off, and then your body's starving by day six, and you're ready to take the pen's like this. Yes. Rather than at least like splitting and they're on 15 miles, it's crazy. Like the the doctors that have given them these.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah. And then they're scared and they're stuck, and they come to me. I'm like, I'm so sorry, we'll work with you, but like it's not their fault. I mean, so I'm sorry, it's not their fault because these doctors they trust, but then at the end of the day, you're like, And I think you know, it's if you have an addictive personality or you have an eating disorder, or you have like a sort, like it can be a it can come from a tool to an abuse real quick. Like you catch yourself like wanting to go up and up and up and up and up, you know. I'm like, I feel though sometimes like you can be hungry.

SPEAKER_02

It's okay. Yeah, you need to eat. Like, I mean, yeah, I mean, I worked out, you know, like twice yesterday and did volleyball and strength, and like I'm hungry. You should should be. And I need to come in and need to take down like my chicken breast, my orzo salad, my whatever I've got in there, and like eat. Yeah, but people think, oh god, it's not working anymore because all of a sudden I feel a situation of hunger.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah, they scared, like I'm hungry. I'm like, oh my god.

SPEAKER_02

But I also I also know people like who have done like, you know, I I had a little bit of with Reddit, but they also like who is this person? They're completely flat, they're completely like not engaged with life anymore. So I wonder what is your dose?

SPEAKER_03

Reddit can do that. Like Reddit for sure, and that's why like I I talk about it too, like with the people. I'm like, listen, where Tracepatide doesn't have that as much, and Reddit is like a is a is a slippery, like kind of slope of like where you're at. I had this weird, I'm out of it now, but it was like I don't know, it was a couple weeks ago, maybe a month ago, and I was like, something is off. I'm like, is it my hormones? I could not put my finger on it. I'm like, just wasn't like excited about stuff. I was just kind of, I mean, probably my Instagram, I was just I was in this like very funk that I'm such a positive person. I'm actually super happy and like I like I just like really like life, and I was I kept saying finally I like looked at my boyfriend like something is off. So like when I'm like, is it my hormones? I got my hormones checked. I was like trying to check everything, and then I was like, I'm not on enough retta to even like I would think do that. And it was the oddest thing, literally. We went on a boat one day. This is like the beginning of July, so a couple weeks ago, we went on a boat and I didn't think about work and like I played. All our kids were on the boat, went down to eBay, and played music and laughed, and I it it's it's gone. But it was a month of like, and I was like, you know, I think I need to get into like the ocean, I needed to go outside and play. I need to like kind of keep life in perspective. Like it's really hard as an entrepreneur, like when you're working like it feels like 24-7, and then your partner, you're just like, is there ever an off or something? So I don't know, but it made me think of trosepitai because I or uh Red Achut. I was like, is this what someone feels like? It's like how I felt like nothing excited me. And I was like, huh, this is so weird. And I think God I'm out of it, but it was like terrible, so I wouldn't do it. And I would never like it, like being on a GLP is not worth feeling like that.

SPEAKER_02

And and some people do have that effect. And I I've asked people, I go, I'm on Tres Epstein, it works for me. I've tried Reddit, and I did get that. I can remember like distinctly like playing tennis, and I'm like, is this over yet? It's like only been 45 minutes. And I never like that. Yeah, like I'm always like, let's play, let's get, you know, let's do this. I don't even look at the watch.

SPEAKER_03

It's also a really good example. Like, and I I talk about this like it's not a one size fits all, and just because it's a new one and everyone's raving does not mean it's right for you or it's the best one. Like, I think everyone needs to kind of just like realize that as they go on this train. So I'm gonna digress since he gave us our five minutes, like 15 minutes ago. We can talk forever. No. Um, and we talk forever. And we can see it. And I did a little promo begin before this. So I'm excited for you to get on to this like you know, for our loop health um app. We've been working so hard on it. It's so pretty. It's so pretty, like aesthetically. But it also just is there's so many tools that we just need. And I know you'll be active. You guys, if you want to find Redetta, she's gonna be in all the chat groups, like in there. And that's been the most fun. I'm hoping that like at night we're on there and you're kind of going in and it's fun. Like, and you're just like listening to other people saying because I think when you're curious about peptides, you go down this like these rabbit holes, and I'm like, I think it's be a really fun place. And like our coaches and just the discounts in a community, and just now that I'm anti-social media, I mean I'm a little bitter, don't get me wrong.

SPEAKER_05

Right.

SPEAKER_03

However, it's so loud that I'm like, I think it's gonna be really fun to be in a community where like, oh, these are my people. I trust people, we're the we're similar. I mean, hopefully that's what I attract. But it's really like a place where it's like you're gonna get everything that you need. Like we have a hormone specialist if that's what you need. Like we have telehealth if that's what you need. We still have a research peptides if that's what you need. But more importantly, like you are not alone. And I think that's like, you know, my workouts are on there. If you need to follow a workout, I've got that for you.

SPEAKER_02

The best thing I think about your platform already is the um how educational it is and how supportive it is. And many, many people are so petrified that, like, I mean, they asked me questions like just this morning on the volleyball court. It was like, I'm getting a red mark from the glow. And they they I I mean, I've gone over to people's houses to help them reconstitute, and like they just need a little handholding. They want to know that like we're all in this together, and so I mean, I think I think this is gonna be great for people so it because it'll be very personalized too.

SPEAKER_03

Well, it's and there can be a scary component because you're just like they you're the the number one baird entry with a peptide. What pop reconstitution and the first injection. That's it. Like they'll like they'll get it, people get it and never touch like it is such a number one.

SPEAKER_02

That's my family.

SPEAKER_03

When I was on yeah, when I was on Hunter's podcast, he has this like um he created his own AI as well, but like it's like he think he has like 800 people go through today or 8000 or I don't know what the fucking number is. But he's like the number one question I get is about reconstitution and first injection.

SPEAKER_02

And so that's gonna be great because you're gonna show all of that on there.

SPEAKER_03

With our online video, we have our great AI on it too. So we like you'll look we have reconstitution live calls even now every Tuesday and Thursday.

SPEAKER_02

Oh wow.

SPEAKER_03

So you can send anyone online and our coach is on there, and you can mute yourself and be black if you want, or you can be like, hey, here we go. Okay, but you're not alone. And I think that's the idea is that like, and it it's very natural to feel scared. I mean, most of my clients I offer like, do you want me to FaceTime you again when it comes? You're like, Yes. Yeah, right. Yeah. But like once you do it, then you're like, we're off to you're fine. So I think that's kind of, and then just like this, just take the stigma away. Like, I think that's where I think from I keep saying I think for me, the biggest journey in the last like year plus of having this business is like staying authentic to who I am. And I think it's been really hard. I'm working with a coach right now, and she told me that I'm having a little bit of an identity crisis.

SPEAKER_02

Like, what is that? What identity that's not even on Instagram?

SPEAKER_03

And I think you know, what what I I've been doing some internal work on what that means is because I can't talk about what I first went on Instagram to talk about. I I have to censor myself. I feel like a little bit of a horse and pony show, or like, this is what's trending now, this is what's what you do, and that's just not me. Like, I just want to go on there and kind of like talk about like what's important to me, educate people about things that I'm passionate about, bring them into the loop community, and how do I do it? And so I was like, well, I might as well create my own and like get back to who I am. And I'm yeah, I'm really an open, an open book, and it's it's really hard when you can't say things. Like you're not censored, right? Like, we're on here talking about what everyone mentioned if I'm like, you can't say these 20 things, you can't say anything, but then you're like not who you are. It's real hard. I mean, I think it takes a toll on you.

SPEAKER_02

Yes, because you're that's a mental gymnastics you have to play every day.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah, and then it still gets taken down. We're not gonna tell that anywhere. Anyway, I'm so excited. Thank you for coming back on, guys. I hope you're gonna this will be really fun. I should do more of these, but I think you'll find it educational. We had fun, we always get a little bit personal, and when you get on Loop Health, you're gonna check out Renetta, she's gonna be all over that place and your wealth of knowledge. So thanks for inspiring everybody. Thank you. Thanks for letting me come back. All right, we'll see you next time. Thanks for tuning in to the Loop Podcast.
