Tired of waiting for a crisis to give you permission to change? This game-changing episode shatters the myth that transformation requires tragedy. I'm challenging you to rise not from ashes, but from the embers of possibility that are already glowing within you.

What if the phoenix in you could rise anytime she wanted? I share my personal revelation when I realized I'd been sitting in lukewarm water for years, waiting for circumstances to worsen before making a change. That's when I discovered the revolutionary truth: desire alone is reason enough to transform. You don't need to earn your evolution through suffering.

We explore practical strategies for rising on demand, including identifying your personal rise markers, implementing micro rises in your identity and environment, and a powerful visualization practice I call "Standing in the Smoke." You'll walk away with a complete seven-day Phoenix Challenge designed to help you initiate meaningful change before crisis forces it upon you.

This episode is your permission slip to stop postponing your transformation. Your wings are already open, and readiness is the only qualification you need to soar. The world doesn't need a quieter version of you - it needs the bold, blazing, fully expressed you. SPEAKER_01:

Welcome to G Ignite, the podcast where we burn the rule book, ditch the goods, and light up the lives we were meant to lead. I'm your host, Carrie Lowe, candlemaker, confidence dealer, and your favorite fire starter. Around here, we speak boldly, dream wildly, and show up messy and magical. If you're done playing small and ready to own your own spark, you're in the right damn place. Now let's get lit. Hey hey, Firestarters. Welcome back to She Ignites, the place where someday is replaced with today, and when I'm ready becomes right fucking now. So today's conversation is one the Phoenix in you has been begging for. The Phoenix is tired of waiting. We've been sold the story that you only rise after you hit rock bottom, that you need to be burned to ash before you can come back stronger. But what if you're allowed to rise just because you decided to? By the end of this episode, you'll have the tools and the audacity to start your rise now without waiting for catastrophe to be your permission slip. So I want to share with you about the rise I didn't earn. A few years ago, I went through a season where everything was fine, not amazing, not awful, just fine. I kept telling myself, when I finally get fed up, I'll change. When things get worse, I'll act. But here's the thing. The breaking point never came. Instead, I woke up one morning, looked around my life, that was fine, and realized I've been sitting in lukewarm water for years, waiting for someone to turn up the heat so I'd finally jump. That was the day that I learned. You don't have to wait for the ashes to rise. You can choose to rise from the embers while the fire's still burning low. So why do we wait? We wait because we think pain makes the rise more legitimate. We believe struggle earns us the right to change. We fear people will say, Why are you doing that? Things aren't even bad. But the phoenix isn't about punishment. It's about transformation. And transformation? It doesn't require tragedy. Waiting for rock bottom is like waiting for your house to burn down before you redecorate. So let's talk about the Phoenix reframe. Rise on demand. What if the Phoenix in you could rise anytime she wanted? Rising on demand means that you set your timeline. You don't need the drama of destruction to justify your evolution. You accept that desire alone is enough reason to transform. No ashes required, just ignition. So step number one, we're gonna name the ashes we're avoiding. Ask yourself these questions. What am I afraid would have to happen before I finally move? Losing the job? That relationship ending? A health scare? Write them down, then ask, can I skip the disaster and still make the change? Spoiler alert, yes you fucking can. Step number two. Identify your rise markers. Instead of waiting for collapse, set your own rise signals. Have you been feeling bored for more than three months? Are you finding yourself daydreaming about another life? Are you saying I wish more than I will? Those are your cues to stand up now before the floor falls out beneath you. Step number three are micro rises. You don't have to reinvent your life overnight. Do it in increments. Micro rise is in identity. Change how you introduce yourself. Add a becoming statement. Micro rise is an environment. Rearrange your space to reflect your future self. Micro rise is in action? Try the thing you've been putting off today. Don't wait. Every micro rise is a match you're striking in advance of the big blaze. Now I'm gonna share with you a micro ritual. Standing in the smoke. Close your eyes. Again if you're not driving. Imagine yourself standing in a wide open space with warm air curling around you. You smell smoke. Not destruction, but possibility. In the distance, you see the version of you who has already risen. She's walking toward you. Tall, sure, confident, and unapologetic. She stops, hands you a torch, and says, You don't have to wait anymore. Breathe that in. Feel it in your chest. And when you're ready, imagine yourself taking the first step forward. So now it's time for your seven-day Phoenix challenge. On day one, write down one area of your life you've been wanting to change. Day two. List the rock bottom scenario you've been unconsciously waiting for before making that change. Day three. Decide how you can make the change before that scenario happens. Day four. Take one micro rise action. Even if it's tiny. Day five. Remove one item from your space that belongs to the old you. Day six. Tell someone you trust about your rise in progress. Day seven. Celebrate the decision, not the outcome, with a ritual that feels powerful to you. So the Phoenix in you is not patient. She's not polite. She's not waiting for permission from pain. She rises because she is ready. And readiness is reason enough. So here's a challenge. Don't wait for the burn. Rise now and keep rising until the horizon is nothing but your own fire. This is She Ignites. I'm Carrie. And your wings, they're already open. Well that's it for today, babe. But your fire is just getting started. If you're feeling lit up, go ahead and hit subscribe, leave a spicy little review, and tag me at SheIgnites CandleCo. So I can hype you up. Remember, the world doesn't need a quieter version of you. It needs the bold, blazing, fully expressed view. Until next time, keep glowing, keep going, and never ever dim your damn light.
