SPEAKER_00:

Welcome to She Ignites, the podcast where we burn the rule book, ditch the shoulds, and light up the lives we were meant to lead. I'm your host, Carrie Lowe, candlemaker, confidence dealer, and your favorite fire starter. Around here, we speak boldly, dream wildly, and show up messy and magical. If you're done playing small and ready to own your own spark, you're in the right damn place. Now let's get lit. Welcome back, Firestarters. Before I share today's episode with you, I just want to take a moment and thank you so much for your support. I have poured my heart and soul into this podcast, and I have to say it is quickly becoming one of my favorite things to do because I love telling stories, sharing challenges and rituals. And I am absolutely blessed beyond measure that you are along for this ride with me. And I would love, absolutely love to hear what you think. So message me, find me on social media, she ignites Candle Co. And just reach out to me and let me know what you're thinking, what you're feeling. And even if there is a topic you would like for me to cover, I would love to hear your thoughts. So today we are going to talk about rituals for rule breakers. You know, the daily habits that keep your inner rebel alive, sharp, and untouchable. Because here's the truth rebellion isn't just a one-time moment of courage. It's a long game. And if you don't feed it regularly, it fizzles out. By the end of this episode, you'll have a toolkit of micro-rituals you can start today to keep your fire steady, sustainable, and deliciously defiant. Storytime. I once made a huge rebellious move, and I'm sure you know what I'm talking about whenever you think of your own moves that you've made. I quit something safe, took a leap, burned a bridge so bright you could probably see it from space, or at least I felt like you could. And for weeks I felt unstoppable. Every day was electric. But slowly that buzz faded. I started doubting myself. I started craving the approval I had just freed myself from. And I realized the big acts of rebellion are amazing, but if you don't back them up with daily rituals, the old programming starts sneaking back in. That's when I began building small intentional habits that reminded me, I'm not going back. So why does this ritual matter? Well, it's because rebellion is resistance, and resistance takes energy. If you don't actively recharge that energy, the pull of normal will drag you back into boxes you fought so hard to escape. So rituals, keep your vision top of mind. Anchor in your chosen identity, and remind you that you are living life by your rules, not theirs. So I have three layers to this rebel ritual. So the first one is ignition, starting your day out like a rule breaker. These are some morning cues that tell your body and mind we are not here to blend in today. So you can light a candle and say your rule I'm breaking today out loud. Maybe write it on a post-it note, put it on your mirror, put it in your purse. Wear something that makes you feel like you own every damn room you walk into, even if no one sees you. Blast a song that would scandalize your 15-year-old self in the best way. Number two are anchor rituals. Staying lit when the world pushes back. Midday moments to keep you from shrinking when you feel resistance from others. So here are some examples. Keep a rebel receipts list in your phone, proof of every brave thing that you've done. Read it when doubt creeps in. Use a grounding phrase like I choose me first, or I've outgrown that version of myself. Step outside, breathe deep, and imagine blowing smoke on the rules you're done following. Number three is the closure rituals, ending the day in your power. Because rebels don't just collapse into bed, they close the day on purpose. So you could journal one thing that you did that was fully in alignment with your rules, not theirs. Physically remove something from your space that feels like old programming. Maybe it's an item, a note, or even a task you never wanted. Light a candle and thank yourself out loud for showing up authentically and blow it out with intention. And I always, always encourage journaling because that just helps us drive those thoughts back home and we can look back at them whenever we need. So let's talk about the rule breakers weekly reset. So every week, carve out 30 to 60 minutes to review your rebellion. What rules did I bend, break, or burn? Where did I play small? What's one bold thing I'm going to do next week? Make it a sacred appointment with yourself. No rescheduling. Let's talk about a micro ritual. The 62nd rebel reset. So stand up. Of course, if you're driving, don't do this. But otherwise, stand up. Roll your shoulders back like you are stepping into a room that fucking owes you money. Close your eyes and say, I am mine. I write my own rules. I am not here to blend in. Breathe in like you're inhaling courage. Breathe out like you're exhaling permission slips you never needed. So let's talk for a second about a seven-day ritual plan. So day one, create a morning ignition ritual, choosing your song, your scent, or your statement. Day two, start a rebel receipts note in your phone. Add three wins from your past. Day three, wear something that makes you feel too bold for the room on purpose. Day four, journal one old rule you've outgrown and what you're replacing it with. On day five, do a 60-second rebel reset midday. And day six, end your day by writing one thing you did that made you proud. Day seven, a weekly reset. Review, recalibrate, and choose one new rule to break next week. And I always encourage you to do this with a friend. We can always use accountability and support. So I want to remind you that rituals are how rebellion survives in the quiet moments, the ones where no one's watching, but the temptation to shrink is loud. So here's your challenge. Build one ignition, one anchor, and one closure ritual this week. Keep them small, keep them sacred, and watch how they keep your fire untouchable. And here, remember, we don't break the rules, we build rituals that make it impossible to forget who the fuck we are. Well that's it for today, babe. But your fire is just getting started. If you're feeling lit up, go ahead and hit subscribe, leave a spicy little review, and tag me at SheIgnites Candle Co. so I can hype you up. Remember, the world doesn't need a quieter version of you. It needs the bold, blazing, fully expressed you. Until next time, keep glowing, keep going, and never, ever dim your damn light.
