Following The Signs To A Brighter Life - Guest Episode
Use Left/Right to seek, Home/End to jump to start or end. Hold shift to jump forward or backward.
What happens when you ask the universe for a sign…and a truck stacked with billboards pulls up beside you? That’s the spark that launched educator Sue Penney Bergman from the classroom into a life built around intuition, joy, and unmistakable inner guidance. We share the full story and use it to map a path you can follow: how to ask for specific signs, what a true yes feels like in the body, and why clarity often shows up the moment you choose to trust it.
We get honest about the messages that keep us small, teachers who told us we weren’t “math people,” rooms that label us “too much,” and the cultural habits that teach women to seek permission. Sue’s turning point arrives with a gutting critique: “your light is too bright.” She chooses not to dim and everything realigns. From there, we dig into worthiness as a foundation, the quiet power of presence, and why play is not optional. Sue brings laughter yoga to the table - breath, silliness, and shared release that lowers our armor and resets our nervous systems in ways you can feel.
You’ll also learn soul scribing, a simple method for channeled writing that cuts through mental noise and delivers guidance in your own voice. We talk about personal symbols of connection after loss, how past life reveals can offer practical tools for right now, and the joy of building a safe, like‑hearted spiritual community. If you’ve been waiting for a nudge to trust your inner compass, this is it: choose one specific sign, set a gentle timeframe, and listen for the whisper that’s been speaking to you all along.
If this resonated, share it with a friend who’s ready to stop dimming and start shining. Subscribe for more conversations on intuition, worthiness, and living lit from within and leave a review to help others find the spark.

SPEAKER_02Oh, okay.
The “Sign Truck” And A Leap
SPEAKER_00No, let's go. My first question. So your intuition has probably dragged you into wild detours and divine timing. What's one? You can't make this up story that still gives you chills.
SPEAKER_01Oh boy, I have so many, but there's two that just jump right out at me. Um okay, so I just have to decide. All right, I'm gonna decide. So I was uh I was I'd been teaching for a long, long time, and I knew it was time to grow. I had been wanting to start my own consulting business for probably three or four years. I'd been thinking about it, and I finally got to 2015 and I said to my husband, this is it. I know it's time. I have to do this. I'm not gonna sign my teaching contract. I am going to start the comp, I'm gonna start the consulting biz. And he was like, Oh wow, how are you gonna do that? And I said, uh, it's gonna reveal itself. He's very analytical.
SPEAKER_00I will find that out as soon as you do.
SPEAKER_01Exactly. I'll let you know. And uh yeah, so I so I said, I it'll be okay. Everything is gonna be okay. I said, Do you trust me? And he said, Yeah. And I said, it will, it will reveal itself. So it got to be the last day to sign your contract and turn it in at the at the um school district. And I started to freak out. I started, you know, all of the ego protection feeling like I'm not gonna have a paycheck every week and I'm not, oh my gosh, and all my friends are here, and blah, blah, blah.
SPEAKER_02Yeah.
SPEAKER_01And so I started getting really emotional. So I was talking to some of my girlfriends at work, and finally I just said, I have got to go for a walk because I know emotions need motion, and I've got to work some of this out of me. So I went for a walk and I'm walking along, and the road that I'm on is pretty quiet. And all this, uh, I so I I decide that I'm gonna talk to my peeps. I'm gonna talk to at the time, I just called them my peeps. I said, Okay, everybody, my grandparents, like angels, whoever it is, God, everybody. If this is the right next step for me, if I, if, if this, if I am making the right decision, I want a sign. Please give me a sign. And then I said, you know what a dumbass I can be sometimes? I just give me a bunch of signs. But I didn't ask for a specific sign, like wings or a feather or anything like that. So I was just walking along and I hear a vehicle coming from behind me, and it comes down and in front of me, and I see it, and I look over and I burst out laughing. It was a sign truck full of billboard signs, literally, and it said sign. I'm like, Are you kidding me right now? It was within like 30 seconds of asking. Oh my goodness. And my peeps are wicked funny. So I burst out laughing and I said, Thank you so much. Oh my god, you're so funny. And I turned around and they walked back up the hill and I went in and they said, Well, that was a quick walk. And I said, I got my signs. That's all it took. I got my signs. And lo and behold, the next week, this this woman who had recently started working in our district, she had been an education consultant and decided to take a position as a data coach. She came up to me and she said, So I I heard you didn't sign your contract. What are you gonna do next year? And I said, Well, I'm starting my own consulting business called Learning is Contagious. And she said, No way. Uh and I said, Yeah. And she's like, Oh my God, I've got your first job. And she had left a school district as an education consultant to become a data coach, and there was nobody to take over. And she said, I'm gonna connect you. And I've been with them ever since this particular school district. It was perfect. So, you know, I started to show my husband. I'm like, look, this happened, this happened, this happened. And and really that's how it's it's revealed itself, it continues to this day to reveal itself, which is that is amazing.
SPEAKER_02Yeah.
SPEAKER_01Oh my gosh. So what is it that you were teaching previously or now?
SPEAKER_00Previously.
From Teaching To Consulting
SPEAKER_01So, oh gosh, I've taught um everything from preschool through college. Okay, I had been doing teacher professional development, educator professional development on the side, like part-time while I was teaching at that that particular year, I was a leveled literacy interventionist. So I was hoping it's better to read. Okay, great. Um, also doing that gig on the side. And I just wanted to do the professional development stuff.
SPEAKER_00Absolutely. Well, I'm gonna like piggyback on that question or your answer to my first question because this is something that I talk to women about a lot and something that I actually have a little bit of issue with myself, and so I would love to hear your feedback on it. So you were talking about the signs. So, first of all, have you always been able to receive and know that that message is assigned to you, or is that something that has developed with your business?
SPEAKER_01Oh, that's a great question. Um, I let me think. I'm just trying to think back in time. I want to say probably since high school, I took things as signs. And I don't even remember where that came from. It wasn't like my parents talked about it, or I don't even think I had friends that talked about it at the time. I mean, this was the the 80s, and we weren't really talking about that a lot. But um, I just I had a feeling, I had an inner knowing that it was a sign to do this or not do this, and I just followed it. So I feel like it's been I've certainly had my times of blowing signs off. I mean, there's things like red flag, red flag, red flag, don't do it, you know? And then you do it anyway. You're like, I'm here I come. What the hell am I doing? You know, so but uh, but I feel like since I was a teenager, that's when I can remember that that I have embraced this idea of signs, but but didn't have any education about it or anything that feeling, really.
How To Ask For Signs
SPEAKER_00Right. And I so like my I don't even know what the word that I would use to describe it. It's not a hesitancy or because I believe in all of that. Um, but you know, there are some people that say, okay, well, look for a sign or God will answer if you, you know, are a believer. And I'm always wondering, like, okay, so let's say that I want to launch this certain thing with my business. And I'm trying to figure out if it's a good idea. And I'm like, okay, I'm gonna look for a sign. But then I am looking at, ooh, that blue feather I just saw as a sign when it simply could have been a bird that hit the telephone pole outside of my house and lost a blue feather, right? Yeah. So, and then, you know, on the other side of that, number one, how how do you personally know it's a sign and not just coincidence? Number two, how do you know it's a sign and not just the wanting in your soul seeing it and thinking, okay, yeah, because I want it, that's what I should be doing instead of veering the other way. Does that make sense? I love this question so much.
SPEAKER_01I love this question so much, so much. Okay. So, first, I ask for specific signs, which is why I said when I told you the sign truck story, I hadn't asked for something specific, like anything, anything at all, like a penny on the ground or anything. Um, what I have learned over the course of embracing my intuition is that you can ask for any kind of sign. So um there, this is a very specific story about something big that happened in my life. And I asked for a very specific sign. I'll tell you, it was um, I wanted the sign of a fairy. And that's not something that I thought about or saw on a daily basis at all. But I said, if this is if this is the right move, if I'm in like if I am in alignment with this decision, like I want to feel it in my bones, but also I want to sign like that extra little risk. So I said, it can be a fairy on TV, it can be the word fairy, it can be a song about a fairy, like anything about a fairy, but I want it in the next 48 hours. Oh, I gave the universe a timeline, which is pretty ballsy. The risky, isn't it? Risky, I should say like ovary, not ballsy, right? Like very ovary-ish. I love that. So I I asked for it, and I was open. I said, I am open to receiving this sign. And so I within it was within a few hours of me asking, I met this woman at the post office and never met her before in my life. She started talking about how she's a children's author and that she wrote a book. And I said, Oh my gosh, this is so exciting. What's the name of your book? And she said, even fairies have bedtimes. And I burst out crying. Burst out crying because of the in the intensity of the decision that my husband and I were making. Uh, it was it was huge. And so I was like, Oh, oh my gosh. And I told her, I told her that someday, if everything worked out, I would be back to tell her, I'd get in contact with her about that. So um, that's my long way to answer your question with how do I know it's a sign? I most of the time, if it's something that's on my mind, I will ask for a specific sign. I don't always assign a time frame, but usually in my head, it's like I want it within a few days because then I'm gonna forget. Right. It might be a week later, but usually with me, it's a few days. Um, so that was the first answering your first question. And then your second is how do I know that it's not just my soul wanting? Okay, so I don't believe, and I and I know a lot of people do say this that there are coincidences because everything is alignment. We're aligning up. Like we the universe is a funny thing. I do feel like the universe has a really good sense of humor.
SPEAKER_02Oh, I agree.
Specific Signs, Timelines, And Alignment
SPEAKER_01Yeah. And so I um I'm just thinking about how I wanna excuse me, how I wanna continue to answer it. I I feel like when I'm in full alignment with something and I know it's a sign, I get this feeling that comes in the top of my head and through my crown chakra and it shoots all the way down through my body. And I hadn't really given that a lot of thought before. It just feels like yes, it's a yes. This is what a yes feels like. And then I realized, oh my gosh, it's my chakras, and they're all in alignment. They're aligned. Like, how freaking cool is that? I had this aha moment. And so your our soul, I believe, is guiding us. It's it's on the team, it's on the team to help us to follow and understand and see the signs. Yeah. So if we there like our soul is one of our cheerleaders that wants us to be able to recognize it.
SPEAKER_00That I is that it is the expression of it. So now let's play devil's advocate. Okay, great. And say in those 48 hours that you hadn't seen or heard anything about a fairy, would you have this is me? Okay, because I believe that you know the world is set here, the universe is wanting the best for us, and it's guiding us to it. But sometimes we might turn left instead of right when we should have turned right. So I'm like, oh, but I didn't see that fairy in the 48 hours. Do I need to backtrack and make a right instead of a left? Because maybe I was in the wrong place at the wrong time or the right place at the wrong time, and the fairy went the other way.
SPEAKER_02Yeah.
SPEAKER_00So how do you counteract that one?
SPEAKER_01Okay, you just pressed it and you're like, I have a I have a couple of answers actually for that. So, first, um, oh, what is it called? There is a name for it when, you know, when you get stuck in traffic and you're all upset. It's like, oh my gosh, I can't believe now I might be late for wherever you're trying to go. But this idea that, okay, we're late, but there we're there's a reason for it. Right. So maybe we're going to be able to do that. Exactly. There's something. Okay. So part of my answer is if it's meant for you, like if it's meant for you and you're in full alignment, yes, we all have free will. It's gonna keep revealing itself. The idea keeps coming back, whatever it is. It doesn't just go away, it keeps coming back, it keeps like tickling the back of your mind. You keep uh something reminds you of it, like when you're talking about an idea for your business. You can't let it go. And so that's a huge for me, that's a huge sign that ooh, this is something that I don't want to let go of. I really want to tackle it and try it. Um and the idea that we missed our sign, it it's funny because I just I haven't had a lot of those experiences personally. But if I'm trying to think if I've had one, I think so. I've had some things that I've been antsy about, and what I do then is I will write with spirit. So I do something called soul scribing, which is channeled writing. And so I will tap into my team, my my Joy in the Collective Oracle team, and I will ask. And they will answer in their very funny, usually like 95% of the time, it's very like a like a spiritual Dr. Seuss kind of thing.
unknownYeah.
Soul Signals Versus Coincidence
SPEAKER_01And it's very rhymey because they know I like rhymes a lot and have forever. So a lot that I receive is in this really cool cadence and rhyme, even if it's serious stuff. Okay. And so I'll ask them, like, what is this all about? And they will steer me in the direction. So soul scribing has completely transformed my life personally, and I feel extremely passionate um about sharing it and teaching people how to do it. Because we're all channeling all the time. Everybody can do it in their own way, whether it's writing, whether it's painting, whether it's being creative, like what you do for your beautiful products. Um, we're all receiving and channeling. It's just that we're not always acknowledging it. So like I see the sign. I didn't see the fairy. Maybe I didn't acknowledge it. Maybe it was over here, it was out of my line of sight, but I feel like it is gonna come back. Right, right.
SPEAKER_00I love that. I could talk to you about that all day. Um it is such a good topic. The so there's like one time that I have been, only one time that I know that I have 100% received a sign. Okay. And it wasn't something specific that I had asked for. But um so my dad passed away six years ago, and we were, you know, I was a daddy's girl growing up, right? And so this had like left us huge loss. And after he passed, you know how they always say, like, cardinals, you know, that means that your loved one is near. Well, everyone was receiving cardinals at their window, and I was not receiving any. And so I'm like, Dad, why aren't you coming to see me? You know, I'm like, I need I need to see your presence too. And it was probably a month later, my husband and I had taken the dog on a walk, and we actually like drove like 30 minutes to go somewhere to walk. And um, we were in this park, and we were walking down this path, and back there were campers and everything out there, and I looked down and there was a full swisher sweet cigarette laying on the ground, and that's what my dad smoked, and that he's the only person I have ever known of ever to smoke that. I am not an advocate of smoking, so let's put that caveat in here, right? It's not good for you, folks. But I was like, that's my dad. I don't know, he he was like hilarious, and so it's like that's how you choose to come to it, you know. Absolutely, yeah anyway. So absolutely I knew it, but um yeah, so that is that's so exciting. I love to have a conversation about that. Well, it makes sense. Oh, I'm sorry. No, go ahead, go ahead.
SPEAKER_01It makes sense that he would show up, he would, his energy would show up in that way. So, because you can easily say, Oh, cardinal, yeah, well, I want a cardinal, but you know, all obviously this area has lots of cardinals and pass that off versus you can't deny the Switcher Sweet, and he absolutely knows. Yeah, so yeah, that's another I mean channeling and mediumship is uh is a whole nother whole nother piece of it for me too. Yeah, I love that. Signs, smells, all of it.
SPEAKER_00Yeah. Okay, so you're talking, I know we've taught you've mentioned a little bit about the soul. So um, through, you know, and I'm gonna give you a chance again, like I said at the end to talk all about um Sue and what you do and what offers you have and all of that stuff. But um talk when you talk about the soul, um, you help people find their soul superpower. So, what is one that you have discovered in yourself that used to feel like a flaw?
SPEAKER_02Mmm.
Soul Scribing And Channeling
Grief, Symbols, And Personal Signs
SPEAKER_01That used to feel I don't know that it felt like a flaw though. Um but it did feel like I dimmed it. So, okay. Okay. So I don't know if you've ever heard of Omega. It's a retreat, it's a beautiful retreat center in New York. And it is, it's Awesome. It's awesome. And I went there for a retreat as a participant. And it was very interesting because the group that I went with was for work. At the time I worked for a wellness company, and they were definitely investigating, looking into this idea of well-being in mind, body, and spirit. And this was the spirit part. So a lot of the women that were there didn't know what this pre-treat center was all about. But I knew, and I was like, oh my gosh, this is gonna be so incredible. We're gonna have all these crazy experiences, like connected experiences, I should say. So what was beautiful is they brought us through this whole process getting into our body first, because when we can get into our physical body, it helps us drop into heart and get out of our head about different things. And so one of the exercises that we did after we got into the body was this idea of uncovering a superpower. And what happened with me is it was a little guided visualization, and I immediately got um positive energy as a superpower. But it didn't feel right. So you know, in your body, when when it's a hard yes and you just know, like everything in your body is yeah, yeah, yeah, that's it, versus like that's not quite the paint color, or that's whatever it is. Okay. So it was not quite right. And I said, Well, then what is it in my head? And I received the word light. I'm like, what does that mean? This was 2016. I had no clue. What is light? I don't even know. So I wrote everything down. We got guided through this beautiful activity, and we got to the end of it, and it was like, I had this all this information in the palms of my hands about my my superpower. And they asked if anyone wanted to share. And immediately I was like, Oh, I gotta share this. I had no idea what I was doing. I just got up and they handed me the mic, and I there was like probably 70 women there. I started singing, this little light of mine. I'm gonna let it shine. I'm like, in my head, is like, you'd be like, what the hell are you doing? And I couldn't not do it. And so I went into the whole thing. People are just kind of like laughing and singing and whatever. And then I went into this whole spiel about that I can't even remember. It was literally, I was definitely channeling and I didn't know it at the time, about how sometimes uh it feels like my light is being dimmed almost like a dining room switch where it's like other times it feels like I'm uh of a floodlight and it's like shining to everybody. Other times it's like people are trying to snuff the light out, other times it's a spotlight, on and on. And um, I still wanted clarity about what that was. And so I started that night googling what is what is the spiritual meaning of light? And it led me to the book Light is the New Black. Have you heard of it? I have not. You gotta read it. I have gotta read it. You've got to read it. Rebecca Campbell is the author, and she is such a beautiful soul. And it it led me down this path of like every single thing in that book. I felt like she was writing it for me. One of the sentences says, like, if you she says, I can remember a time um that there were either hundreds or thousands or tens of thousands of souls. We were all together, and we were basically like planning what we were gonna be doing down on earth at this time. And we were all part of this collective to like bring light. And she said, she kept going on and on about it. And she said, and if you're reading this book right now, you were probably there. And I burst into tears, and I was like, Oh my god, I was there! Like it was such awesome, awesome alignment. It was unbelievable. And so this idea of light, I just kept following it, and it's basically it's multifaceted, but um it's I didn't ever know, like I didn't have a word for it. People would just come to me with their problems or call me for advice or be like, I want to hang out with you, you're so joyful, or like you've got such good vibes, and I'd just be like, Thanks. And once I could name it, once I could say, like, light is my superpower, then I can actually visualize amplifying it. So if I'm going into a room full of women or at a retreat or something, I will visualize like, all right, I want to embrace everyone in this beautiful feeling of light and have them feel safe and comfortable and validated and seen and heard and vulnerable and all of that stuff. And um now that I'm so aware of it, I do. I feel like I can control it really wild. So it wasn't so much that it felt like a flaw, but I definitely felt um, and I can identify a couple of people that I dim. I definitely dim. There's even now there's one or two people in my life that I will tone it way down. And then for the most part, it's just hold on, floodlight. It's floodlight, it's floodlight, and it's really giving, I I do feel like it gives other people permission to be themselves. Absolutely. That's what they tell me. They're like, Yes, you being you helps me be me. And I'm like, yeah, because who freaking cares?
SPEAKER_00Well, and I love that because one of the things that I say is that you know, achieved nights, we help women realize who they were before the world told them who they were.
SPEAKER_02Yes.
SPEAKER_00And yes, I just I they you know, you saying that is like, uh like what makes us what where along the way did we get the message that we needed permission to be ourselves? And, you know, when men have never had to ask for permission, or you know, maybe certain workers, you know, in a corporate office, whatever it might be, certain titles, you know, they didn't have to ask for permission, but something about women, we've always had to ask for permission. And it's just not right, and it makes no sense. So, like people like us are out here to change that, and I love it.
Discovering Your Soul Superpower
SPEAKER_01Yeah, I do feel like because there's so many different evolutions and revolutions throughout history that it I'm not surprised that now is the time of the divine feminine. And whether you're you were born female or whether you identify as female, um, certainly to me, it feels like there's a lot of I have friends that have definitely dimmed themselves because of um because of how they identify and they weren't ready to make that known. Right, right. That makes sense. I mean that whether so whether they were like gay or whether they trans, whatever, there um I do, I do see that. Um, but but I feel like this was such a learned behavior based on so many things, based on the energy that we received, based on the upbringing that we received, not that our parents were doing, you know, things wrong, so to speak. It's just like they they only know what they know. Absolutely. They learned what they learned and they shared it. Right. It's this beautiful little just domino effect. And with that came a lot of knowledge, right? And but also I always think of the example let's say that your grandpa was a dentist, and then the expectation is that the next, you know, your dad is or your or your grandma or your mom. Your mom is supposed to be, you know, a dentist, she's gonna take the the business over. And now you're gonna take the business over, and it's like, but I want to make candles, right? You know, I don't want to pick teeth, like I wanna make candles, and so but the expectation is this is what you do. So sometimes people get caught in that it what it feels like to me is you know, when you go behind a truck in on a highway, what is that called? When you get in the stream of the yes, yes, I like race cars do it too. Yeah, yeah, I know what you're talking about, whatever it is. And you you're kind of caught up in that that energy, that like this is where you're gonna stay. And to get out of it is you don't know, it's unsure, right? It's scary. It's scary. It's like, well, at least with this, I know where I'm headed, versus if I go out here, like the devil you do know that you or the devil you don't. If I go here and make candles when I'm, you know, I'm supposed to be a dentist, it feels contradictory. And that's I mean, that's on the cellular level. We're learning these things. People are saying things to us that become, you know, these thoughts that we think that become then our beliefs. Yes. And even true. They're just something something like my second grade teacher. I don't think she's alive anymore, but she told my parents at a parent conference that she said, Suzanne will never be good at math. I was seven. Can you freaking give me a break? I was sitting right there, and what it of course, over time, it's embedded in my head. I will never be good at math. I mean, my dad went up one side of her and down the other, which was good because he had my back, but it it was a struggle, and then it continued to be a struggle because it made me hate it. Well, if I'm not gonna be good at it, then I don't even like it and not gonna do it, I'm not gonna get better at it because ew, you know, so this is and so this is another thing that we have so much in common.
SPEAKER_00So I have shared this. Um, in like, you know, some women are able to think back to that moment where the first time they felt less than. And I had never really been able to take my memories far. I mean, I remember feeling that way forever, but like to pinpoint the specific moment that it happened, I couldn't until a few years ago, and I realized it was in my first grade math class. And I had this was when paddling was still, you know, permitted in school. And we were putting a test, and all of the girls at the table with me finished their test first, and I was still doing my problems. Well, I'm now I know I'm ADHD, right? And so I'm like, they're whispering and I'm trying to listen to their conversation, and I'm distracted and I didn't finish my test. And so I got paddled in front of the whole class at the end because I didn't finish my test. And that planted the seed in my mind. I suck at math. I'm never going to be good at math. I'm not good enough to compete against these classmates of mine. And still to this day, I struggle with math because of that. And you, you know, there are days that I think to myself that, you know, seriously, you have let that one little instance like set the tone of your life for 40 plus years, but it was like so deep-seated and it felt so raw that um, you know, that that's that's just what has happened. And I'm doing my best to overcome it. I don't believe I'll ever be really good in math. Numbers are not my favorite thing, but still, it's just like those tiny moments that just stay with us forever. And like this, the conversation that you were talking about on learning is the perfect filter into my next question. Oh, great. So, and this is something that that I talk a lot about with women as well, because you know, a lot of the women that come to me are just at this space where there's a little spark and they're wanting to ignite who they are, or they're wanting to learn who they are. So they're at the very beginning stage of this. And so um, my question for you is what did you have to unlearn to step fully into this version of yourself? Whether it's the you know, intuitive leader, the soul whisperer, the retreat host, whatever it is, but something impactful that you had to unlearn in order to step into this version of you.
SPEAKER_02Oh man, this is such a great question. Okay, um, something happened fairly recently.
Naming “Light” And Owning It
SPEAKER_01So when I I joke like that, I kind of came out of the spiritual closet in the last in the last few years. And previous to that, I was doing a lot of card readings and a lot of uh teaching people intuition development, mindset work, all that kind of stuff. And I felt nervous about well, what's gonna what are what are my fellow educators gonna think? What is the school district gonna think? Like, are they gonna think this, that, this, that? So I definitely got in my head about it. And I don't know what happened when I turned 55, but my um, my like, I don't give a shit meter, like just cranked up or broke, right? Or broke, it broke, and I was like, what am I doing? What am I doing? Not sharing this. Like, I have been bursting to share this information. And I finally I finally just said, okay, I have to share it. So in that process, I started offering workshops and um workshops at different locations and places and and doing readings and stuff. And there was a situation where somebody had asked me to um come in and do a specific job. Like they sought me out to do the job. And I was so honored and excited. I felt so seen. I'm like, oh my God, talk about validation. I finally, I'm coming out of this, you know, I'm fully coming out of this uh cocoon that I've been in. And now I get to really shine my light, like openly and in this new position, in this new role. And I was doing, I was in the new role, I was in the process of training for the new role for a couple of weeks. And then um the the person came up to me, the person that had said, like, I see you, we we want you here, your light is so bright, it's exactly what we need. And um, she came up to me a couple weeks later and she said, How do you think things are going? And I was like, Great, you know, they're going great. I I'm excited to be here, blah, blah, blah. And she said, Well, then this is gonna be a hard conversation. Now, she sought me out. I was already on my path doing my thing with my own business. So, meaning, like, so I have this, I have Join Co., which is my spiritually based business under the umbrella of my education consulting, because it's all education.
SPEAKER_02Okay.
SPEAKER_01She said, um, l the words, I believe the words were, well, I know the words were. Um this is gonna be a hard conversation because there are some of our followers and some of our clientele that feel like your light is too bright. Oh, yeah. Yeah. And this was like within the last year that this happened. And I just looked at her and she said, and our business is, you know, part dark, part light, and it's just too much. People aren't ready for the brightness of you, of what you can bring. Like people are seeing on social media and they're asking if you're the new face of this business and so on. And I was like, What? I I was just promoting the business, I was promoting the products, I was promoting the workshops, like Facebook like spaces. Absolutely, right? To be seen, I went live. And um, and I just was in shock. I was in shock that that I had believed in where I was gonna be, like I that I I felt so seen, and then to have this said, and I was really devastated to the point where I'm standing there, I didn't even have a way to respond. I was so emotional. I had other stuff going on in my life at the time. My emotional jug, it was like exactly what I needed to shake up my jug and go, psh. And I just I just cried. And I and I then I felt like an idiot because I'm standing here crying in front of this person. So uh I I ended up, I ended up processing it for a few days. And what I uncovered was that um uh I unprocessed it and I decided that I'm not gonna dim my life for anybody. You would never ask your kids to do that, you know, you would never ask someone you love to do that. So, like, how can you think it's okay to do it to anyone?
SPEAKER_02Right.
Permission, Identity, And Dimmed Selves
SPEAKER_01And so what I realized was it wasn't personal. It it truly wasn't personal. What it did was it was a mirror for her for whatever reasons, whatever we all have our own stuff that we're working on. So it was a mirror for her, whatever I was doing. But for me, I knew that I wasn't gonna stay. I knew I had to leave. I could not be nobody's gonna like squelch me down. And what it did is it like it was a bit slap from the universe that hurt so that I would leave. Yeah. Because if it was delivered more gently, I probably would have stayed. Right. That's not where my path was. I was headed over here, and when I was invited to do this position, I went, you know, in this direction, and the universe was like, no, no, no, no, no, no, no. You're supposed to be over here. You're you're supposed to be over here. We've been talking about this for years, girl. What are you doing? And it really did help me get back on my path. So it was a gift, even though it was painful for a few days. It was really, it was really such a beautiful gift. And what I hoped also for her is like because we all have our stuff, that she was able to take that experience and learn from it as well, and whatever she needed to learn, because I don't know what that was, but but I definitely got my message. Yes, wow.
SPEAKER_00Received, received, yeah, yes, but I love that you stood your ground and you're like, this is who I am, and you know, I'm not going to to dim that light for anyone. I love that.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, because I was in my head, like it was ridiculous in my head because I just finally embraced it and I was like, Don't you know my superpower is late? You know, like I want just to I just sang this to 70 women.
unknownI sang the song.
SPEAKER_01But it was, but it it's it's okay. It all it worked out. I just needed to work through the emotions of the shock of it, is what it was, and then go in a different path. And it's beautiful it's been beautiful. So we get the bumps in the road, we get the like painful moments.
SPEAKER_00Um, I think you know, if you're the believer of everything happens for a reason, I'm sure that was sent to remind you. Oh, totally. It absolutely could have so it could, I would have probably been like, okay, which message am I supposed to be receiving? That that's not who I am? Deep. In my soul over, and this is just like reassurance of that, or is it that this is the message telling me that you're on the right path and you're supposed to stay with it?
SPEAKER_01Oh, that's a good point. See, because there's so many different perspectives, but I was finally at a place after I don't even know. I started really diving into spiritual work in probably 08, 2008. So it's been a long time. So the fact that I finally was like, this is it, I'm embracing it, I feel it, I know it. I didn't hesitate. I was just like, no, I'm not gonna accept that. I that's not I'm nobody's gonna tell me what to do. Absolutely. Absolutely. Basically, like I I knew I I didn't have the wavering. Whereas maybe 15 years ago, sure, I might have felt very differently, but now I'm at a place where it's like, okay, what am I what what can I learn from this? And it was very clear. Like this way.
SPEAKER_00Literally neon arrow. Yeah, exactly. So you had um had shared that your peeps like to use humor to guide you. So um this question's a little bit around that. So um I know that you had mentioned that you blend humor with your heart in your work. So, how do you use laughter as a form of healing or awakening?
Unlearning And Refusing To Dim
SPEAKER_01Oh, these questions are so good. I love it. Oh my gosh. Okay. Well, I use it, I use it in a lot of different ways, but I literally am certified as a laughter yoga coach or laughter yoga teacher. Love it. So, are you familiar with laughter yoga? I am not, no. I know goat yoga. The laughter yoga. The laughter part is we all can do it. So the laughter part is easy. Um, but the yoga part is just breathing. So if you can laugh and you can breathe, you can do laughter yoga. It's not like we're bending or doing a you know, we're dog or anything like that. It is truly like four steps that I just taught. Was it yesterday or the day before? I had a group earlier this week, and I have another, I'm doing a women's conference or an insurance conference at the end of the week for a bunch of insurance professionals, and they're bringing it in the joy. So the the steps of laughter, yoga, and the benefits are insane, the health benefits are insane. Um, but the steps are you start off with this playfulness and this warm-up and this connection, and then you go into the yogic breathing, and that's all also through fun. And then we get into this childlike playfulness where I tell you what to do, and you it's literally like an invitation to be the silliest, most childlike version of you, which is so fun. And then we end with a guided meditation. So you're like, bring it back down. Health benefits are insane. Um, there's a calorie burn for laughing. Um, so that's great, but in addition, it's like it helps manage the um, it helps manage stress, it helps with sleep, like on and on and on and on. Anybody can Google it and look up Laughter Yoga and find out all the health benefits. But um in that process, like I I have taught it at retreats, and through that process, it's another way to let people put their guard down.
SPEAKER_03Yeah.
SPEAKER_01Because what I'm asking you to pretend, like I did the other day, like pretend that you're on your cell phone and you've just heard the funniest thing ever and you're laughing. So you're you're my partner, we're looking at each other, we're standing in person. I've also done it virtually, and we're looking at each other, and we're, this is the third step, and we're and what's great is your body doesn't know if it's fake, right? Laughter, the benefits are all there. And so what happens is all the people who are easy laughers start really giggling, and then that is contagious, and then other people start laughing, so you're all like really end up laughing. And I had them doing the silliest, uh silliest things, but it helps us to like the armor that sometimes we put on in the world, it just helps us to remove that, or I don't know if armor is the best word, but the little protective layer that we have to look or be a certain way that's socially acceptable, yada yada. It's really just let's act like we're five. And I love that. So much fun. Yeah. So that is one way that I integrate it, especially retreats and stuff and women's groups.
SPEAKER_00Yeah. So that was going to be my next question. So I have a long history of insurance experience. So I have been an insurance adjuster for like 15 years. I loved it, but I fell off of a roof. And so I stopped doing it. And then I also sold insurance for a while. So I'm curious, are the people that are going to be in this exercise with you, this experience, are they all going to be women? Or will they also be men? Because I don't know. You've got to follow up with me and let me know how that will. You like let down their hair. So it would be so five year old five-year-old, because they're kind of, you know, like uptight and rigid. So I'm excited to hear about that.
SPEAKER_01Well, the woman who invited me, I met at a different one. My friend, um, my my friend Leslie Sturgeon has a women's conference every year in New Hampshire. And I met this, the woman who is the president of this insurance um group that's for the state of New Hampshire. And she's the one who contacted me and she's like, we need your joy, we need your fun. Will you please come? What can you do? Blah, blah, blah. And so we started talking, and I explained what about laughter yoga, and she's like, yes, yes. And so she said it is mostly women. I don't know that there will be men there, but what I find is that the more silly I can be, it's like an invitation for you to be silly. And it's permission for you to be silly. And so I uh she texted me today and or messaged me today, and she said there's about 17 people coming. So it's gonna be an hour and a half to two hours of just relaxation and let letting it rip. And they know they know what the topic is. Okay. So they're saying yes, they're choosing it, which is important.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, absolutely. To be blindsided by that.
SPEAKER_02Yeah.
SPEAKER_00We're gonna do what?
SPEAKER_01Yeah, they had to choose it, so which is which is great.
SPEAKER_00Yes, that's exciting. Well, you know, there's not enough of that in you know, today. There's just not. And um, I love that. Okay, so I could literally like ask you questions for hours and hours and hours, but I want to give you the chance to share some of your goodness. So outside of you know, these questions. So I'm going to jump in here and ask you the the one question that I ask all of my guests. And if you could light a fire in every woman listening today, what would you want that fire to say? Oh, oh, what do I want the fire to say?
Humor, Healing, And Laughter Yoga
SPEAKER_01Yes. You are worthy. Because confidence isn't enough. Have you read the book Worthy yet? Yes, I have. Oh, my women's circle. We did a book group about it and we processed each chapter. It is life-changing. So all of the the whole conversation about we can be outwardly very confident, but inwardly, like, look at you and I with the math, right? Like so we we we have these belief systems that we can let go of and we can put down. And so I would say number one is you are worthy of all of it, of of just being here. And and the stuff that I read and that's in my feed and the books and things like that, we tend to see a lot of the same when we're in when we read a lot of stuff. We I I take in a lot, I consume a lot of spiritual content. And so I hear a lot of the same kinds of messages. And the you are worthy and you are enough just because you're on the friggin' planet, yeah, you are. And then you can, you know, it doesn't matter if you're just gonna be or if you're gonna do. Right. That whole idea of like we're human beings, not human do-ings. And so we spend so much time doing, doing, doing, doing, doing that we're not a lot of us aren't taking the the time and the gift of presence to just to just be with ourselves. Absolutely. Get lost in the hamster wheel, and then we're like, oh my god, now I'm 58. Who am I? And I don't know. Like, there's it's a real thing. And it's not to say all the stuff that you did previously wasn't important and that there wasn't value in it. Of course there was. And a lot of us are sharing our gifts through when you're an insurance agent, right? You're sharing your gifts through that, you're sharing your gifts through your candles, you're all of that, but also when uh we take the time to get a present and be present, that's where the clarity comes and that's where the intuition speaks the loudest because it's a whisper. So unless we're present, it's tough to hear. And then that's when the all of the the beautiful um messages from our soul. Right, right. Start to start to reveal themselves. I mean, they've been talking all along, but we've been busy. Yeah, it's so busy at soccer guests. I haven't heard it. Yeah.
SPEAKER_00I remember when I was in um an insurance adjuster, one of my um managers had they were very um consistent with not being there. They were listening to us, but at the same time, their focus was not fully on us. And so at one point, we had called them out on it. And um from that point on, like they were very grateful that we gave them. I'm trying not, I don't want, in case they're listening, I don't want to throw them under the matter, what's matter, Carrie? So um, you know, very open to hearing us and from that point forward carried this piece of paper with them all the time that said, be here now. And so it was a message that was on the desk, on the computer, you know, in the wallet, everywhere, so that they made sure that they were present in conversation with us, in you know, experience with us, and all of that. And it made a world of difference. And then, you know, I I still think I mean it's been 20 years since I worked there, and I still remember that because it made such an impact on everyone, and so you know, that's something that I have tried to live by. Um, and you know, just being here, being is um is exceptional, and that's what we need to do. And I love that that was your answer. So, one more question. This is a fun one. Um, what is your inner hype song or the anthem that you turn on when you need to channel your fiercest self?
SPEAKER_01Okay, so the song by Sia Unstoppable. Yes, something in that song when the orchestra starts to and the is it trumpets? I can't remember. It's it feels like it's talking to me during not the words, it's not even the words, it's the music in that song get me like hype, hype, hyped, hype, hyped, hyped. So that's definitely one of them. Um and then Demi Lovato Confident. Yes, that's a good one. Because it's just like I mean, oh, you can't not move. Yeah. So those are two that come to mind immediately. But I have playlists of I love it.
Playfulness Lowers Our Armor
SPEAKER_00I love it. So I have a on my um I have a Spotify playlist that's um bad bitch healing. Oh, we're gonna, I'm gonna need that. Yeah. I'm like, when I'm having a day or I'm having a day, you know, good or bad. So I'm gonna like turn it on. Bitch, let's roll. We're driving on the road listening.
SPEAKER_02I love it.
SPEAKER_01Oh, that's that's so good. Yeah, I'm I'm writing it down because I want to remember to ask.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, that's to share that playlist because we all need that. Okay, so now I thank you so much for sharing your um spirit and your soul with us. That is amazing. And I know that my fire starters are going to be so excited to follow you and connect with you. But I want you to just share whatever it is that you would like to share. You know, not everyone that I have as a guest has a business, um, but those that do, I want them to share like how can someone connect with you? What is it that you know you do? What do you love about it? Do you have any offers? Anything like that. You just take the mic and share what you would like.
Worthiness Over Confidence
SPEAKER_01Woohoo! All right. Well, I do feel called to share one of my uh channeled messages. Okay. Because this message was a turning point for me, not when I received it, but last year when I realized what it was and who it was for. So I received this message back in, I want to say it was February of 2019. So I've had it for a long time in a journal. And what came through, I was, I had been doing this, this soul scribing is what I call it, uh for a few years. And it was a lot about me, me, me, me, me. Like, what should I do next? And how can I, and what about and this and money and all that kind of stuff. And all of a sudden I just decided to open it up and say, what message do you have for the collective today? And what I received was to the tune of Soul Sister. Now, I hadn't ever gotten anything that was excuse me, to music before, but that was was what was playing in my head. And what I received was this message, which um if once people listen to it, if they if they love it, it's available on my stand store. If they get it printed copy. Um, and what I received was this Dear Sue's Soul Sisterhood. And I didn't, I'm like, who is that? Who is the soul sisterhood? Here it goes. Dear Sue's Soul Sisterhood, strutting your stuff, hard to refuse, your shape and your color and the brain that you use. Deep in the depths of your soul's great desires, through all the mud and murk and mire, there is a spiraling continuum that shoots and darts and swirls. Where men and women, boys and girls, everything on the planet lives and breathes, where all have the knowledge to hear it and see the impact that we make for eternity. We can be squashed, stepped on, ripped and torn, or shine bright from the hues of angelic stars. Ask, what do we want from the world we know? How can we help our souls to grow? Ripe is the fruit on the Tangelo tree, ready to pluck and help us see the truth we promised to live out loud, strong and simple, gay and proud. Why deny it anymore? Allow yourself to go through the door, push and pull with all your might, use strength and will and hold on tight as we're gonna get emotional. I understand. For we have come here for all to see the light inside of you and me. And I was like, Oh my gosh. And then it just goes and it's oh, we cannot hide it anymore. We cannot stay behind the door. The verse is counting on us, you see, to shift and change democracy. With heads down and noses in the sand, we cannot improve this precious land. Working our light together, we will see the heaven on earth promised to thee. Take your place and light your spark to help others creep out of the dark. And as they do, our feelings soar. Our lights will glow on the path through the door. Do your part, and you will see improvements for eternity in mind and body and in soul. Know that it's your special role to keep and care for all these three and then each other naturally.
SPEAKER_00Oh my god. Stop!
SPEAKER_02I stop my journal for six days.
SPEAKER_00That is amazing. And that just like downloaded to you.
SPEAKER_01It's just right through my pen. It just came right through my pen. And then I'm like, who is this for? I don't know who it's for. And so it sat because I was nervous and I didn't want to share that I channeled and all of that kind of stuff. And over the course of time, um, over the last couple of years, um, it has become very clear who Sue's soul sisterhood is, and that is anyone that is listening that feels in alignment with this message. Yes. This she ignites, I mean, come on. Like, if this isn't about lighting your freaking spark, yeah, what is and um and so it's really like I have a physical community, but I have an online community that which will it's a free online community on Facebook. It's private, you can't find it. So friend me on Facebook, Sue Penny Bergman, and then I can or send me a private message and I can um invite you into the community because I want it to be a safe place where people can talk about spirituality and ask questions and learn and not feel like there's trolling and stuff around, like it's because it's not about that. It's a it's really about um giving everyone a place to feel that they can learn and connect and be vulnerable about it.
SPEAKER_00Yes, absolutely, and do it safely. I mean, I am like if you could see the like in front of me, I have crystals like all over my so I I'm a crystal collector or something. I just love to be surrounded by them. And um, you know, there have been um even people extended family that have like gotten in arguments with me about it, that it's not they're you know, they're very faith-filled, and that's God would not agree with it. Well, okay, they came out of the earth. God made it, God gave them to us. God gave them to us. Yeah. No, maybe we polished them, but they were they were planted for a reason, and they do have energy. And so, you know, I know that I love that you have that group because people that are curious about it, but they're Afraid of that group of individuals that you know are going to judge them for asking questions and you know degrade them because they want to believe something different from them. And I love that that you have that safe space for for people to learn. Thank you. Yeah, it's that started last fall.
Presence, Intuition, And Being
SPEAKER_01Um and the timing was everything. It was just, it was beautiful timing. And so that's been that's been fun. People are chatting. And then, like I said, I have a physical group. Um, at some point in the future, I will have an online um, an online circle. Like I have the circle that meets every week and we talk about certain things. At some point, I will have an online circle as well. Um, in the meantime, what do I do? So I can tell you I do soul coaching, which is really all about what we talked about earlier, uncovering this, what I call a soul superpower, or more than one, but truly one at a time. It's it's guiding you to align with your soul's truth, what it what it knows, and what we're barely listening to or not listening to or nervous to listen to. Um, it's all about that, like that purpose and that joy, and that that our purpose can be simply sharing your smile. It doesn't have to be I feel like I know for me I thought it had to be this like grandiose thing. It can literally be be a kind human.
SPEAKER_00That can be. Now, do you consider the superpower? Do you consider and here I am asking more questions? Yeah, yeah. Do you consider the superpower that you help people find to be the same as their purpose?
SPEAKER_01Not necessarily. Okay.
SPEAKER_00I can't think of an example right now to differentiate it, but I know, you know, in the business community and maybe even in the spiritual community, a lot of people talk about purpose. Yeah. And that's one thing that I've always like, I feel like I know I am here, but I don't have a specific purpose that is like in a sentence or two words. And so I think there's a lot of emphasis placed on that, which causes some anxiety. Really, especially to people that are in business because they're like, does this align with my purpose? Well, I'm not really sure what my purpose is. Do I have a purpose or do I just have a message? You know, so that's right, right.
SPEAKER_01Yes, yes. So like I'm just thinking about um, I was just I'm listening to you talk and I was like asking, like, hey, pop pop an idea into my head to to help guide this conversation. And um, so my superpowers light, my purpose could be compassion.
SPEAKER_02Okay. Which could also be a superpower for somebody. Sure, sure.
Anthems And Fierce Energy
SPEAKER_01But but they all integrate. But my purpose could also be um helping save the rainforest. Right. But you know, I mean it could I I feel like um, and this is just my own personal thought. I feel like we put a lot of weight on those words, and it's just so freaking simple. Every time I write with spirit about anything like that, they're like, You're you're beautifully overthinking it, Sue. Like, you don't have to categorize everything. Yeah, you don't have to label it all. You don't have to label it all. So um so there's the answer to my question. It was perfect for me. But feels good. Uh, so I offer soul scribing classes. I teach people how to unleash that if they want to learn how to do it, because the um the word writing can get people in their heads, and it's has nothing to do with you actually thinking and writing, it has everything to do with you being open to receiving what your soul is trying to tell you. Okay. And once you do, you can't ignore the truth because your soul's just like, and this, and remember this, and sometimes people will cry because they're like, Oh my god, this is so beautiful, and it's reminding me. And I'm like, Yeah, yeah. And so the writing can also, it doesn't have to be just with your soul, it can be with loved ones um who have passed. It can be with uh with really with anything, really any entity, entity, it could be with, I mean, it really depends on what you're open to receiving. Okay, but but I start it as it's just your inner knowing that's reminding you. That's it. It's your soul, it's your inner knowing. Um, so I do teach classes online, so I have virtual classes. I have it. Are there's individual or like group? Uh grouping, but I also soul scribing is a group, but I also do it through soul coaching. So it could be individual if something wanted one on one. It can also be through this community. It's called the Soul Scribing Society, and that is a group that meets um once a month online. Okay and it's a place where people like learn techniques to get out of their head about it. Oh, okay. How can I do this when I'm all you know, when I'm thinking I'm not gonna be able to do it, or like I'm just imagining it. And then I'll have them read whatever they said, and I'll say, So when's the last time you said those words to yourself? And they'll go, You're right. It's not, it's I did it. Like, yeah, you did it, you did it. It's just there are practices that we can do to open up that channel. Um, and it's a like-hearted place or space for people to share. I I provide prompts. Um, I do over the course of the month, I provide all kinds of content for people who can who want to dive in. But each month is this as a theme, which is really cool. Um, this month is awaken your inner mystic.
SPEAKER_02Ooh.
SPEAKER_01Oh, yeah. So within that group, I provide uh Oracle card spread for you to use if you use Oracle cards or tarot cards. Um, I provide a few rituals to the body. Uh, and then I provide a bunch of of prompts, which is really neat. And then when we meet in person virtually, uh, then we people you can play or pass, you don't have to share, but you sure can because I feel like if you're feeling the the need to share, then the message is for more than you.
SPEAKER_00Yes, absolutely.
SPEAKER_01So, um, so I so that's a blast, and that's about 90 minutes, and it's once a month. Okay. It's called Soul Scribing Society. I also do, uh, and this has been probably my biggest uh uh piece or biggest offering besides soul scribing in the last year is past life reveals. Oh so it depends on what people personally believe, but um what I receive is uh I asked I ask for a past life that will support your current life. So I see a video, like a movie scene, I write it all down. So I'm actually just doing this through writing, and it would be like if you and I were gonna do it and you wanted a past life reveal, we'd meet just like this. I'd take you through a guided visualization, you just chill out and relax. I would write, I would receive the um the movie scene, like who you are, what or who or what uh right for whatever you were to come through to support this life. I asked for a specific message that you need to hear right now. And I asked for a tool, a ritual, a technique, a strategy, or a recipe for you to use now in your life with what's going on. It is so freaking juicy, it's so interesting. People are just like, oh my God, how is that and this? And I was a what? And how can it? And it just all fits because I have full trust in my spirit guide team. They're the ones who are tuning me into this information.
SPEAKER_02Sure.
The Soul Sisterhood Download
SPEAKER_01Yeah. And I just learned how to do that last fall, and it has blown up. So that's really fun. I do that virtually and in person. I do Oracle card readings and I do love one connections. Um, those are all on my little stand store link, which I'll send to you. Okay, yes. Um, and soul coaching, of course, if you're in a place where you're like, I don't know what I'm doing, but I know I need to do something, I'm your gal. And um, and I have some free content, some Oracle, like three-card spreads with with cards, a release and renew emotional detox spread. Um, some of the writing, channeled writing is on there. The Soul Sisterhood um poem is on there.
SPEAKER_02So yeah. Good stuff. Oh my gosh. Yeah. Will you see my best friend? Sure will. Absolutely. I'll be right there.
SPEAKER_01Yeah. So oh my gosh. Mostly on Facebook. Like, I know I could definitely be better with Instagram and definitely be better with TikTok, but Facebook is where I had my color streep is, and that's where I got comfortable. So I have just continued to be on Facebook, but I'm posting a lot more now.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, I have been. That's kind of where I have hung out. But so, like to I've talked to you before I hit record. I really need to stop doing that. I need to start hitting record the minute I get on these um calls with people because so many cool conversations happen before I hit record. It's what like the little snippets. But um, I had when I was talking to you about the transition from girl uncovered to she ignites, like girl uncovered fit into a box, was very prim, proper, um, tame colors, and never felt like me because I'm bold, I'm bright, I cuss like a sailor, but I'm very cautious about that because I also have a professional life. And so I never want that to be um, you know, I I've always had this, first of all, you know, mom, if you're listening, you know, you we weren't allowed to cuss growing up, you know, and I'm still like cautious about the things that I say in front of her, right? Out of respect for her because she doesn't want to hear it. But I find myself being me on TikTok because I don't have a lot of the people that have known me from day one following me on TikTok. So I can be myself and I'm comfortable and I love it and I'm safe there. And um, you know, I feel free there. And so I'm starting to spend more time there and I love it. Um, but I'm on Instagram too. But um, so you'll share all the links of where people can find you, right? Yes, okay, great, absolutely, yeah.
SPEAKER_01And I and I'm getting better and better all the time with the with the different social media, but it seems like three is enough.
SPEAKER_00It's a lot, it's a lot.
SPEAKER_01Like tonight we're like, what about this? What about that? What about uh you know, what about Twitter or whatever it's like?
SPEAKER_00I don't do that, I don't do that. Um and I don't I I'm putting some stuff on LinkedIn, like about my podcast, to you know, kind of broaden that, you know, where people can hear that. But um, you know, I just I'm not great with the technical side of it, and so with a lot of it, just like even like the TikTok videos, I really want to do behind the scenes stuff, but I just can't figure it out. And so I need a TikTok coach, really. So if anyone out there knows a TikTok coach, let me sure some some 17-year-old will have be happy to help you. And I keep so I have two daughters, one is 30 and one's 22. And I keep I'll text them all the time, hey guys, tell me how to do this. And they're like, I don't know, mom. I don't do TikTok like that. Oh, that's funny. Yeah, yeah. There, and they're also in the beauty industry, so you would think that they would do a lot of that because that would be a great way to advertise their business, right? But anyway, I'll learn. I'll learn. So is there anything else that you would like to share before we end today?
Community, Safety, And Spiritual Space
SPEAKER_01Really, the message is just all about embracing the inner you that you just feel in such alignment with. So imagine a moment, bring yourself back in time to a place or a space or a moment in your mind's eye where you felt 100% fully you with no judgment and no expectation. You can picture it just like if you close your eyes and you picture it, and then sit with that and use your senses to like see and hear and touch and taste and smell what that was like and how you felt. And then use your sixth sense, the intuition. Um and just like, what was it about this moment that made me feel like me? Because you just said I feel so free on TikTok, right? And so it could be when you're alone, it could be when you were in a group, it could be it could be anything outside, inside, it doesn't matter, but identify how you feel from that memory, and then do you want to feel more of that? Hell yeah. Right? What makes you feel more of that? Yeah, and then follow it. Yes, and that lights you up, yes, yes, for sure.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, so that would be figure out how to transport that feeling into our life today, right?
SPEAKER_01Absolutely little stuff, yes, it can be little stuff, but and it can be huge stuff too. Yes, that's one thing I've been thinking about. Um I have a few, um I they're not posted on my store in my store yet, but I have a few meditations and guided visualizations, and I'm like, why are why don't I have those on there? And like you, it's like, oh, I need to figure out how to do that. Yeah, but do it because that's one that I would love to post. Absolutely process. Yes, it's so important when we when we know how we want to feel, then we can start to identify the things that help us to feel that way.
SPEAKER_00Yes, yes. Oh my goodness. Well, thank you so much. Thank you amazing. So fun. Thank you so much for being here, and I cannot wait for my fire starters to meet you and hear your story.
SPEAKER_01Well, I so thank you for the invitation, and I do feel like I don't know what we have in our future, but it's really good. I'm gonna follow it. Yes.
