Hello and welcome back. So today's episode, I was going to talk about um my experience with dyslexia. I've not been formally diagnosed, um, but when I was doing my teacher training, I was starting the process, and they were saying that I was borderline, dyslexic, dyspraxic, and is calculus. So that means memory, coordination, patterns, numbers, words, which is quite ironic as a dance teacher, because the one thing that I'm really good at is memory coordination counts. So it's quite an ironic one, and that was gonna be today's topic. However, I have put my big girl pants on and finally put an offer out. Um, so the dyslexia topic is gonna be next week instead. Um, so there comes a point in your business when or your life, when you have to stop talking about the things you want to do and you have to start doing. So, as much as this transition, realignment, I've been saying I don't want to rush, I'm playing, I'm having fun with it. I was also internally screaming at myself that I couldn't just make a decision. I don't know if I was waiting for some sort of, oh my god, I need this or or what. But I was faffing. I was I was procrastinating, I wasn't actually playing with anything. I was talking about it and trying to give myself an excuse for not having any website, any offers, not really having to post on social media because I don't know what I'm doing. When in actual fact, I just I will play by doing. So next Thursday, so this episode has obviously gone out today, Friday. Um so next Thursday, the 14th of May at 7 pm GMT. Um, the reason I say the time zones, I have a semi-international audience. Um, so it's always handy to put to put that time zone. Um, I am doing a free movement session. Note I said movement session and not dance session. So this movement session is kind of what it says it is. We're just gonna move. In whatever way feels good for you. I'm gonna guide you through some things. It's not a routine, it's certainly not choreographed, it's gonna be whatever comes to me in that moment. It might be a simple stretch, there may end up being a combination, but I'm not expecting you to get it. I'm not expecting it to be right or wrong. There is no perfectionism, there's no performance, it is purely move, respond to my guidance, respond to the music. If just swaying on the spot listening to the music is enough for you, then great. This is for those of you who are stuck in your head, myself included, you you put everyone else before you. You don't give yourself time to just be. This is your time. It's 30 to 40 minutes, it's not long, but it's just a taster. Let's see how we go, see what people think, with it not being a dance session, it not being this is what I'm gonna do. Because it's a feeling, and you it's really hard to sell a feeling because it's gonna be so personal to everyone that comes. The point is, you will feel more connected to you, you might feel more relaxed, you'll probably sleep better because you've moved, but you'll just yeah, like I say, it's really hard to describe their feeling because what I will get from it is whether this is gonna become a permanent offer. Seeing other people's responses to it will make me feel all warm and fuzzy, but what you get from it I can't really tell you what you'll get from it. Because it will be so personal. But I know you'll love it, and it will just so that was today's episode. It was to tell you that I'm doing a movement session because I was annoying myself. I was trying to do all this market research. I'm like, you know what? The market research is by just putting the offer out there and seeing what who comes and then getting the feedback and then going from there. And I'm also aware that my day job is getting busy again because I've got a Canada container next week, I've just done Sweden, but we're preparing Sweden's next one, I've got other export and different things, and then I go away on holiday, kind of end of June, early July. So realistically, putting out a permanent offer for a weekly session, now isn't the best time to start that. But I'm doing these tasters completely free, and that's my way of market research. Do people get what I mean when I say I'm a movement? I'm getting you to move. Whatever that means for you. If it's dancing, great, if it's swaying to music, great, if it's doing some deep inhaling and exhaling, and just a few shoulder rolls, fine, but you've moved. And your body will release those magical endorphins, and the one thing I pretty much can guarantee you'll feel happier. Which will spiral into the rest of your life. Your family, you won't be snapping as much. Like I say, you're probably gonna sleep better. So, this is my invitation for you. Head to the show notes, grab your space on that free taster session, and come and move with me. And know that it's okay. To all soon. Just stand or sit and listen to the music. Because your body will start responding. We're born to move. We're not born to sit still or stand still. So your body will start moving. You just need the permission that it's okay. So I will see you next week on the podcast when I will be talking about my dyslexia journey. But more importantly, I'll see you next Thursday for feel good movement.
