Hello and welcome back. So today I'm talking about moving. But putting you first. I've had a couple of conversations this week with people and it's very clear that we're not putting ourselves first. We're ending ourselves in burnout because we're trying to do all the things. And that's why I'm doing what I'm doing. Because I'm putting me first. So I had to take a couple of weeks at a pole because my shoulder still isn't right. If you're watching the video version of this, you can probably see the tilt that's going on because of the shoulder. So the side that's bad is actually the lower side. Um, but I can't seem to get straight because something dodgy is going on. But I had to take a couple of weeks out because it was really painful. Just doing normal things like turning my head, like turning my head just wasn't working. It was too painful. Like I couldn't actually do it. So I was like, well, if I can't do that, I can't do it, I can't actually get myself on a pole without causing more injury. So I put me first. As much as pole is my thing, I also don't want to be injured and not able to do my day job. So it's really got me thinking the importance of my movement workshop, but also the paid version that is coming. So for those who come to next week's workshop, they're getting first dibs on the paid option. So, hint get yourself to the workshop next week if you want first dibs at the paid session. Um, but more than that, it's getting me to think about how am I putting myself first, and how am I fitting that into a perceived busy schedule? So I have a full-time job, I'm rebuilding this business lifestyle, and it's it's making me think of what tips can I be sharing to get people thinking and putting themselves first beyond the movement workshop, the paid movement sessions, the journal that will come at some point. Um how can I translate that to everyday life for people? Because it's all well and good me saying, uh you need to make the time, double up the time, move whilst you're doing the washing up, move whilst you're whatever it may be. But is that enough? Is that enough for me to just keep reminding you to move to put you first? I don't know. You tell me, is that enough? Um, because one of the people I've been talking to, or we've been trying to arrange a call because there's a potential collab, and we just can't seem to get the times to align, and she's burning out. And I'm like, you need this movement workshop. You seriously need this movement workshop. You are more superwoman than I thought I was attempting to be. Um, but yeah, is that enough? Like, how else? This is me literally talking my thoughts out loud. So if you do listen to this or watch this, please do let me know. Like, I I'm genuinely interested, and not just from a okay, so what paid thing can I put in, but how can I actually help you? How can I help you to put you first? Is it me sharing some tips on how you can do that? Is it signing up to the paid sessions? Is it buying some self-care products? So, is it treating yourself to a face mask or a hair mask or a foot mask? Treating yourself to a lipstick. And I'm saying treat because everyone sees it as a luxury item, but it's not, it's important. So it's a short one today because I myself, I'm not burning out, but my brain is just poop like it's not really functioning. I am very ready for my holiday at the end of next week. Um, so they're very well my B. That's not even words. There may well be a gap in podcast. Because unless I record it before I go, it ain't gonna happen. Because I'm away when this normally goes out. Um, so I'll have to think on that one as to whether I whether I do a pause or get one recorded ahead of time. But I try and very much do them in the moment, and I know that's not podcasting 101, but it works for my brain nine times out of ten. Um, so yeah, it's a short one today, but I would genuinely love to know how can I help you to put you first? So let me know.
