Join Bill and his guests, Donna and Scott Netzley, who launched Sensible CFO & Consulting in October 2023 after identifying a clear market need. Large companies can easily afford full-time CFOs and controllers, but small-to-mid-sized businesses typically cannot justify those salary levels—yet they still desperately need the expertise.

Sensible solves this problem by providing fractional CFO, controller, and bookkeeping services on a part-time basis to startups and growing companies that don’t require (or can’t afford) full-time financial leadership.

Scott and Donna both began their careers in auditing before transitioning into corporate accounting roles. Scott rose to become a CFO, while Donna advanced to controller. At Sensible, Scott leads the fractional CFO practice, and Donna oversees the fractional controller services as well as a team of bookkeepers.

Recently, they’ve expanded into an innovative new offering called Private Financial Concierge, through which Donna delivers personalized administrative and operational financial services to high-net-worth individuals.
